Once all of us are thru the flue to Shaddowhaunt the parents that are there hug their children and lead them off to catch up. John had asked for permission to invite the parents of his mates that he knew how to contact and I had agreed. So The Parvati and Padma’s mums a dad were waiting along with their six younger brothers and sisters, Jess’s mum, and Cassie’s parents who had been contacted and brought, by Uncle Sev, as soon as Cassie knew that she was claimed. Hermione’s parents were NOT allowed to be here and if I or John ever saw them they would not be long for this world, Jess’s dad had work and would not be able to come and go as he pleased from here so opted to stay home, and no one knew where Adrian or Ash’s parents were.
“You lot get settled in, Oliver keep the most submissive ones safe while John and I are gone, I am counting on you.” He nods pulling Draco closer to him as my blond banshee tries to run to me. Fred had his arms wrapped tightly around Adrian for the same reason. “I’m going to strengthen the wards more seeing as we now have a Vampire, two Werewolves, and a Reaper in residence we do not need their smells calling to the others of their kind that live here and are far more dangerous. It is 11 pm now, John we don’t have that much time if we are to be in the forest by sun up.” Everyone nods and John takes all his mates and leads them off to find a room for them to stay in whilst we are absent from them. I walk to the front doors and open them both wide so that the wards don’t have to fight thru them. I turn and focus on the warding stone in the back of the huge fire place in the entry way. I start to feed my magic into it strengthening the wards that keep the people inside in and the creatures outside out. Just as they are about to snap into place and close even more layers tightly around the manner house a blur races in thru the doors at the last possible second and stops looking right at me as the two doors slam shut.
“Where is he?” She asks sniffing at the air.
“Who are you I!?” demand of her raw magic crackling in my hands.
“MOMMY!!” I voice yells and a second blur races past me John appearing a moment later a dangerous look on his face.
“ASHLEY!” Ash jumps and disentangles himself from the beautiful female Vampire, composing his face into a mask of indifference and straitening his cloths.
“This is my Mother, Alfinia. Mother, this is my dominate, John, king of the Dovah and this is Aphrodite queen of the Other, a friend of ours. This is her home.”
“Oh my little Ashley, I know who she is and that she lives here, she was here with her mates part of the summer. We all felt her arrive. I am happy that you are mated but there are things that you need to know that had you matted to a Vampiress you would have never needed.”
“How did you know he was here?” John demands pulling Ash back behind him roughly, the little Vampire’s head whipping about. He whimpers and clings to John knowing that in taking off like he had, in an unknown place with so many dangers that John knew nothing about, that his Dom was now angry with him.
“I smelled him and I missed my baby boy. I mean him and all the other’s here no harm, I just wish to be allowed to stay here and teach Ashley about male pregnancy and how it is that he will conceive and when and what will be involved in the process. He also needs to continue his Vampire lessons and I wanted to spend time with him. If that is acceptable that is.” She looks at John and then me her eyes jumping between the two of us.
“If it is ok with John that you stay I am ok with it. There are plenty of people here to protect my mates, and they are perfectly capable of defending themselves if they are in danger.” All three of us look to John and she looks at Ash’s pleading eyes.
“Please, I haven’t seen her in so long.” The Vampire boy whispers, all of us in the room having heightened hearing we all heard the plea, not just John.
“Alright, she can stay.” He looks over at the Vampiress and glares menacingly at her. “If one hair on his head is harmed I will kill you where you stand.”
“I understand. He and all the rest here are safe with me around. I swear by the blood of my ancestors.” John nods and Ash smiles happily as his mother walks closer to him and hugs him lovingly. I look up at John and place my hand on his arm gently. He looks down at me his eyes having shifted in his rage.
“We need to leave in no later than three hours. Sooner would be better. Strengthening the wards took longer than I had expected and the sun will be up at Hogwarts in four hours and I want to be there in plenty of time.” I look at the grandfather clock standing near the fire and see that it took me nearly three hours and it is now a quarter till 2 in the morning. He nods and lifts Ash up and runs off with him. I smile at Ash’s mother who returns it. “Make yourself comfortable.” She thanks me just as I shadow walk to my mates in my room finding them all naked and waiting on me.
“We know you have to leave soon.” Daph says looking sad.
“We just want one more romp with you before you have to leave us for a while.” Draco says tears in his eyes. I banish my clothes and walk to the bed kissing them each soundly.
“It’s only for a few days.” I tell them just before I leap at Oliver kissing him soundly, pinning Draco between our bodies so that I can rub against him stimulating his member, and gripping the twin’s rock heard cocks. Three hours later after goodbyes are said all around John and I return to the school and exit thru the front doors. Walking quickly to the forest we use the point me spell Hermione invented out fourth year to guide us in the right direction. Once far enough from the school we both shift to our true and natural forms. I hear a trill and smile as Hedwig appears seemingly out of nowhere her magical glow giving off enough soft light that the darkness doesn’t seem so dark any more. Protehaan appears as well and lands on John’s shoulder curling her tail around his upper arm as far as it would go. We both relax, losing the tension that we didn’t know we possessed, once our lovelies were with us. My Amiri had volunteered to stay with my mates and help protect them, as had Nolo. Silently we continue on thru the forest watching out for anything that might want to hurt us. At one point we came across the Centaur village and all of them bowed to us silently and did not rise until we had left the village behind. No other creatures did we meet, only the song of birds and the sound of the river could we hear. Occasionally a rabbit or a small animal of another sort would cross our path, once we saw a glimpse of white that might have been a unicorn.
“Are we getting close?” John asks quietly breaking our four hour long silence.
“I don’t know. One of us could fly up and look.”
“You go. Your wings are much smaller and much more flexible than mine are.” I nod and push into the air climbing high above the treetops as carefully as I can. We are several kilometers from the school now, a shape far away on the hill looking about an inch tall to my eyes. I turn the other directions looking for the place we are going, the valley between two mountains. I spot it, slightly off to our left, about a five more hour walk to reach it. I descend back into the trees to my friend and land.
“We need to go that way.” I point to the direction that the mountains are. “It will take about five more hours to get there.”
“We should stop for the night then. It is getting late and we will need all the strength we can get for anything that might keep us out of the valley.” I nod and set up camp as John goes to hunt for his dinner. Upon his return he opens his arms to me offering me a hug.
“Yes?”
“You need to eat too Tia. You need your strength and food won’t do you a bit of good.”
“I’ll be ok, but thank you.”
“I know I’m not your mates or your family, but I am wearing a special scent from the twins, mine not yours, from their homeland.” My curiosity peeked I stand up and walk over into his arms hugging him and taking a deep nourishing breath. Curry, sandalwood, sage, sun, and henna. So delicious that I take several more deep breaths of it the spice of the curry burning my nose, nut not in an unpleasant way.
“Thank you John. Tell Parvati and Padma that they have excellent taste in food for Other.” My friends smiles at me and we then lay down in our sleeping bags to sleep the night song of the forest singing us to sleep as our lovely Phoenix and Wyren keep watch over us.

A/N- I know it has taken forever to get this us. I'm sorry. I'm even more sorry that I have had it done for a week and haven't posted it yet... OOPS!! That's what I get for being too sleepy though. 2 weeks of work without a day off will do that to a person... ick! HOWEVER!! Subconciously I guess I knew I should wait till today to post because it is my favorite reader's birthday!! so Happy Birthday Nari-chan I hope this is a good present for you!
kazzia- Thank you so much my dear and I'm so glad you like it! I called it Topsyturvy, not because it wasn't going to flow easily or because it was probably only really going to make since to me, but because it is Harry's life, or rather Tia's life that was being put into a tailspin.
