Title: Blood and Roses

Summery: It�s Harry, Ron, and Hermione�s seventh and final year at Hogwarts. Hermione�s life has been full of surprises, but mix magic, uncontrolled magic, and other things thrown into the mix and you have one unusual term, Sequel to The Law of Horus.

Chapter Four: Control, Even For A Short Time

However by the middle of Octobermiermione was no near finding the answer to her problems. She went to the Blackheart wedding, a big affair with more food then a human could consume, she brought some home. Lavender being a half-blood was allowed to marry Ron Weasley. Though Hermione was sure that Ron didn�t like it much. She returned home in such a state that she fell asleep right into her bowl of soup.
� HERMIONE,� yelled Remus, pulling her up from becoming the first recorded victim of drowning by soup.

� Thanks Remus,� Hermione said quietly. � I�m tired�going to bed�do the same�goodnight.� And she removed herself from the Great Hall. There was another attack on muggles and it was all over the papers as usual. Hermione who slept for three days read the three-day-old paper and felt her heart sink.
She hated this war and couldn�t wait until it was all over, which Hermione didn�t know if that would ever happen. Voldemort meanwhile was furious about the idea that he hadn�t gotten his hands on the three Snape children. They would pop out of a room and appear somewhere else. Cunning was required for this, but when a Deatheater returned he probably find himself unable to move, or had to breath in a fishbowl because he or she could no longer breath air.
He sent one of his Slytherin spies to try and grab Merlin, but then suddenly Hogwarts had a new statue. Powerful magic made it happen and Dumbledore could fix it. Soon the whole grounds were littered with statues that would never be human again. Garnet made a sixteen-year-old spy for Voldemort a dog, which ended up disappearing someplace. Rumor had it that no one adopted her and she was put to sleep.
Garnet and Kiki were the nasty babies of the bunch. They pulled Merlin�s hair and even at five months old they had a kind of intelligence that Hermione knew one day would give even the darkest wizards a run for their money. Voldemort called Severus in every Friday morning, not caring that it might make him look bad. Voldemort wanted to make the husband forget that he was even married to Hermione and that�s what he did.
When Severus returned to the school Dumbledore sensed something wro wrong. He didn�t report to him about what the dark lord wanted. Hermione was busy looking over the notes that he had sent her and deciding on what potion that they would work on next. He slammed the door opened and looked at Hermione, not with love, but hate.

� Get out of here Granger,� he hissed. Hermione looked at him.

� It�s Mrs. Snape,� Hermione corrected. � Want to come with me to our quarters.� He hissed at her.

� No I don�t, and return to Gryffindor tower.� Hermione looked at him and then Garnet arr wit with Professor Lupin.
� Severus I�m glad that you�re here. I was just about to ask you if you have those ingredience for the potion ordered yet?� Severus glared at him.

� What stinking ingredience,� he hissed. � Look wolfman I don�t know why you think that you have the right to be here, but since you are. Take Miss Granger back to Gryffindor tower and take that horrible baby with you. Working overtime Remus, I�m surprised at you.� Remus looked at him as though he had just insulted him.

� Severus I don�t know what sick game your playing, but I don�t like it.�

� Fine, now both of you leave. I have work to do.� Hermione and Remus left, taking Garnet with them.
� What the devil is wrong with him?� asked Hermione when they were out of earshot of the office.

� I don�t know. Lets ask Dumbledore.� And they both headed up to the office. The Headmaster was very interested in this and decided to investigate. However Hermione�s three children wanted daddy and daddy for some reason didn�t want them.
Severus got upset when he found that he quarters were bare and then he hated the tower because it was sunny.

� I want my dungeons,� he complained.

� Your not moving back there,� said Hagrid who had no idea what was going on. � You�re married and need the room.�

� I�m not stinking married,� he snapped. � I�m a single man prouproud of it.�
At that moment Poppy appeared with Kiki who at once looked at her father with eyes that matched his own.

� Poppy get that thing out of here.� She glared at him.

� That thing is your daughter,� she snapped. He bared his teeth at her and then suddenly he couldn�t move. Kiki had trapped him and one thing was for sure, he didn�t like it.
� Get me out of this spell?� he roared.

� I can�t.� And then Kiki screamed to go to the r, wr, which Poppy was more then happy to do. Kiki looked at her father and then he suddenly found himself bounded. He couldn�t move, or speak, or anything. He just stayed there.
At once Hermione and Remus entered and looking at the bounded Professor Hermione had to admit that she liked him like that. Dumbledore entered and waving his hand he at once lit up like a candle.

� He�s under the Imperious Curse,� he told them. � He has no idea that he�s even married, or anything.�

� Why did Voldemort do this?�

� To get the children,� Dumbledore answered. � That I pretty much guessed.� Garnet had appeared at that moment and suddenly the candle color disappeared and Severus could move.
� What happened?� he asked.

� Tom put you under the Imperious Curse,� Dumbledore explained. � I think that your children have the ability to take it off, or prevent it, or something like that. I�ve never had three extraordinary children before and this is something that is going to take some time to figure out.�
Severus thanked Dumbledore and everyone left except Hermione and her three children. For the first time she was scared. Voldemort had almost taken their family away and if he succeeds then she didn�t know what she would do. November started, but Hermione barely noticed it. Gryffindor barely won, something else that she didn�t notice.
She was to busy thinking, working, or taking care of her three children. However something else happened to change the whole face of her, her husband, and her three children-apart from the fact that Ginny was almost six months pregnant with her first child. Hermione started to throw-up again, not a good sign from past experience in that area. Hermione went to see the nurse and again the nurse told her that she was pregnant.
Hermione smiled thinking that again there would be someone new in the Snape household. For the rest of November Severus wasn�t summoned, which Hermione was grateful for. To top it off something else happened that Hermione wasn�t expecting. Garnet, Kiki, and Merlin spelled out their names in magic blocks.

� Severus,� she called. Severus opened the door and she showed him the magic blocks. Severus knew at once that his three children would be smart, maybe a lot smarter then he was.
