"I only told him that I used to be Harry Potter, but that you rescued me from the muggles."
"Tony what do you know about Tom Riddle or Lord Voldemort?"
"Nothing. Why father?"
"Tony, you and Tom are soulmates. Dumbledore is trying to keep the two of you seperated because if the two of you were to bond, you would be the two most powerful wizards in the world. Although Tom won't make you bond with him until you are older and ready. He is a really nice guy but Albus is making him out to be some kind of villian when the villian is really Albus himself."
"Could I meet him father?"
"Of course you can Tony. Just wait one second," Severus said as he walked over to the fireplace and threw the floo powder in, "Lord Voldemort, Riddle Manor."

Tom stepped out of the fireplace and saw his most loyal and trusted follower with a little boy.

"What can I do for you Severus? And who is this charming little boy?"
"This is my son Anthony Severus Snape or Tony and he wanted to meet you."
"Hello Tony, how are you this evening?"
"I am doing well My Lord."
"Tony my name is Tom or call me nothing at all."
"Tom is it true that we are soulmates?"
"Yes it is true, but where did you find out about it? I thought Albus was keeping it a secret."
"I found out from father. Are you going to punish him for telling me about it?"
"No Tony, I am grateful that your father told you."
"He also said that we would have to bond. What's that mean?"
"It means that we have to have sex Tony, but not until you are older."
"Why can't we do it now Tom?"
"Tony you are only eleven. You are too young to be thinking about having sex."
"But Uncle Vernon said that is all I'm good for."
"Tony that is not all you are good for," Tom said as held Tony's chin in his two fingers.
"Tony I think that it is time for you to go to bed," said Severus.
"But I'm not- yawn -tired," Tony whined.
"I will see you tomorrow my little snake," Tom told him, "Be good for your father."
"I'll try Tom," Tony promised.

After Tony went to bed, Severus and Tom started talking in low voices about what they had just heard.

"You don't think he was raped do you?" Tom asked Severus.
"I hope not because if he was, whoever did this to him is going to die a slow and painful death," Severus replied.
"Who is this 'Uncle Vernon' that Tony spoke of?" Tom wondered.
"He is Lily's sister's husband. His name is Vernon Dursley and he and his wife Petunia were Tony's primary guardians," Severus responded.
"I thought that Harry Potter lived with the Dursley's," Tom said.

Severus didn't say anything trying to figure out how to tell Tom that Anthony Severus Snape and Harry James Potter were one and the same.

Tom's voice brought him out of his musings when he asked, "Who is your son Severus?"
"My son Anthony Severus Snape and the Savior Harry James Potter are the same person. I rescued him from the Dursley's where they were treating him worse than a house-elf. A month later, I made a heritage potion and the results were proof enough. I have the parchment if you would like to see it my Lord."
"That won't be necessary Severus. How did Lily and James die if not by me?"
"Dumbledore stole some of my potions and gave them to Lily, James, and Tony. Tony was the only one who survived because he spit the potion back up and then disguised it as normal spit up. Since he was only a year old he could do that without it seeming strange."
"Sev how long have you known that Tony and I are soulmates?"
"Ever since the day he was born. Do you remember that day Tom?"
"Yes it feels like it was yesterday."

Tom looked back on that day tried to figure out how Severus could have figured it out.

'Severus kept telling Lily to push while they held hands. The mediwithc let Tom, Severus, and James in the room but only if they promised to let her do her job. Tom couldn't wait for Tony to be born. He didn't understand it but he couldn't do any research until he was back at Slytherin Manor. As soon as Tom was allowed to hold him, he felt as if his soul was complete. He felt like nothing could go wrong with his life. Tony's magic had reached out for Tom's and it felt like, although Tony couldn't speak yet, he was saying hello.'

Tom hadn't realized that he was projecting his thoughts until Tony walked into the room with Sal.

"Tony what are you doing up?" Tom asked with concern.

Severus walked in from the kitchen with two cups of tea. When he saw Tony standing there with Sal, he began to get worried.

"I couldn't sleep and I heard the two of you talking and then I saw Tom's thoughts of the day I was born and I was lonely."
"It's okay you can sit out here with us for awhile," Tom and Severus both told him.

Tom sat on the chair with Tony in his lap and talked to Severus. Tom rubbed circles on Tony's back which caused Tony to fall asleep faster.
After Tony fell asleep, Tom asked Severus if the Snape's would get in trouble for Tom being in the room.

"I hope for both yours and Tony's sake that we don't but I doubt it," Severus told him.
"Can I put Tony to bed Severus?"
"Yea and if you want to stay with him that is okay with me. I just don't want either of you to feel pressured."
"Thanks Severus, I appreciate that."

While Tom took Tony to his room, Severus went to the bathroom, so that he could get ready for bed.
The next morning, Tony woke up to find Tom still clothed lying on the bed right next to him.

-Tom why are you on my bed and why do you still have your clothes on?- Tony asked in parseltongue.
-When I brought you to your bed, you wouldn't let go of my, so I laid down and went to sleep. Your father doesn't care by the way that I slept in the same bed with you.-
-Do you have an animagus form Tom?-
-Yea. I'm a snake like Sal. Why do you ask little snake?-
-Because I don't want you to leave me, so I figured you could transform and stay with me.-
-I can do that my little snake.-
