Chapter 4
Harry stood outside of the Hog’s Head pub in Hogsmead waiting for Draco, most of the students chose to hang out at the Three Broomsticks or in the crowded shops; Harry had suggested this place because it would be quiet and would give the two a chance to make plans privately. Draco walked up the street and to Harry’s surprise he wasn’t flanked by his two goons Crabbe and Goyle. Draco nodded at Harry who slipped inside and found a table at the back for them. Draco paused outside the door for a moment to gather himself. After reading what he had in Harry’s journal he had decided that today he would get the wheels turning for his plan to make Harry realize that no matter who it was he liked; they would never be as good for him as he would be. Draco took a deep breath and walked into the pub and made his way back to sit next to Harry. He had already ordered them a round of butterbeers. Draco sat down and they began to quietly discuss meeting arrangements. Draco kept pausing every few words; he was so close to Harry that the heat being emitted by the other boy was making him hot. Draco wanted so badly to know if the close proximity was making him just as hard as it was making Draco. As Harry began talking Draco’s mind began to wander to thoughts of the brunettes lips wrapped around his now throbbing cock; and he wondered how it would feel to be buried balls deep inside Harry. As these thoughts raced through his mind he must have verbalized one of them because when he looked at Harry again there was a look of confusion and horror on his face. Harry stood up and walked out of the pub leaving Draco alone at the table, Draco sat there for a moment before taking off up the street after him. When he caught up to Harry, Draco turned him around by putting both hands against his shoulders, forcing him to face the blonde.
"I think we need to talk about what happened, Potter, meet me at the Astronomy tower at eleven...Unless you're too good to break curfew."
And without another word or waiting for a response, Draco was off into the crowd of people headed back to the castle, to try to figure out what to do to salvage the mess he had made before he lost his raven.

Harry had never been so confused in his life; he was contemplating on taking up Draco's offer to meet him in the Astronomy tower as he lay in bed, waiting for everyone else to fall asleep so that he could sneak out. But he still wasn’t sure Harry could have sworn he heard Draco mutter something like "Potter, I will have you. You will be all mine, little raven." as the blonde had walked away in Hogsmead; and the words had played over and over again in his head ever since. Harry wondered if he had heard things or if Draco had really said it. As it grew closer to eleven Harry began to get nervous; he was sitting in the common room now waiting for the last few people to meander off to bed before he slipped on his invisibility cloak and made his way to the tower. While Harry waited for people to leave Draco sat in the Astronomy tower waiting for Harry, he had considered a few times calling the whole thing off; just leave Harry’s journal up there and go back to the Slytherin dorms and be done with the foolish thoughts that he could make Harry his. Draco stood up and looked at his watch, it was already quarter past and the brunette hadn’t shown yet. He was just getting ready to leave when he heard the trapdoor drop closed behind him. Harry stood a few feet away from Draco, arms crossed and waited.
“What did you want to discuss Malfoy?” He snarled, figuring that Draco probably wanted to push him over the edge or some other evil deed.
Draco opened his mouth and then paused; he couldn’t form the words to tell Harry the truth. How he had found his journal and originally planned to use it to make him the laughing stock of Hogwarts, or how he had been reading it for weeks and wanted desperately to know who it was Harry had feelings so strongly for that he wouldn’t even risk writing their name. Draco closed his mouth and took a deep breath. He reached into his pocket and pulled out Harry’s journal from where he had been keeping it for the last four weeks. Harry’s face fell. He was horrified; Harry had always assumed that Draco had his journal since he had been singing the songs that he had written about Draco and Harry’s own depression over the fact that he couldn’t have the object of his desire. When he saw Draco drop the journal his heart plummeted; what if Draco had read that Harry had feelings for him and how he had woken several time to be told that he had called out the blonde’s name in the night. Draco looked at Harry’s face and dropped his head again.
“I didn’t read it; I found it in the common room….”
Draco knew it was a lie but couldn’t bear to see what Harry’s reaction would be if he knew the truth, somehow he knew that if Harry knew he had read his journal his hopes of making the brunette his would be gone. Harry bent down and picked up his journal, he held it in his hands and then looked up at Draco. He wanted to hug the blonde; kiss him; anything to tell him thank you; thank you for protecting his secrets. Instead all Harry did was start to reach out for the boy and let his hand fall. Draco saw the reluctance and took it to be distain.
“He can’t even bear to touch me to say thank you, I was foolish to believe I could have him” Draco thought. He grabbed for the trap door and before either could say another word he disappeared. Draco refused to be ruled by his emotions, but even more than that, he refused to let Harry see him cry; Draco didn’t want Harry to see his heart break. Harry stood on the top of the Astronomy tower lost in thought, as he turned to leave however he noticed another book lying at the foot of the wall where Draco had been sitting. He stooped to pick it up and as his fingers brushed against the soft cover he knew what it was.
“Draco’s journal….”
Harry picked the book up and carried it back to the Gryffindor common room. Harry found himself fighting not to read the blonds thoughts as he walked up to bed.
