“I think I know the score…
If you say you love me, oh boy,
I can't ask for more.
I'll come if you should call…
It’s better the devil
you know.”
Remus groaned as the alarm rang out in the dormitory. His
mouth tasted disgusting and his brain was bashing a symphony on his skull. The
night before flashed back to him in clumps of lucidity and a smile spread over
his face as he remembered Sirius’ lips on his, his hands wandering all over his
body… God. Last night was brilliant.
“Alright, I’m fucking up, turn off!” James yawned at the
alarm. “I’m up.”
Remus reached out and tugged back the nearest curtain to
him, letting his bed fill up with light. Sirius’ curtains were still drawn.
“Morning, dirty stop out,” James
yawned again, mouth taking on a tunnel for size.
“What?” Remus muttered, stumbling out of his sheets.
“You didn’t get in until 2 am. Where were you?”
2 am? That’s not right, we were back in the school by midnight… oh… Remus couldn’t believe his mind had
forgotten! They’d been successfully sneaking back to the tower when Sirius had
dragged him behind a tapestry and groped him for a whole hour before Remus had
been able to find his voice and insist again that they wait until they were
sober.
“Yeah it was a good night,” Remus smiled, reaching for his
dressing gown on the peg on the wall.
“Where did you go?”
“Where you always go,” Remus blinked, trying to remember the
name.
“On a Thursday? But it’s their gay night on a
Thursday!” James exclaimed in surprise. “Pads suggested going there?”
Remus nodded.
“He said he wasn’t going back after someone got a bit too
friendly, if you catch my drift,” James waggled his eyebrows seedily.
“Well he was fine,” Remus and started towards the bathroom.
“And nobody paid him any attention anyway. For some reason everyone in the room
was asking me to dance.”
“And did you find anyone you liked?” The voice was teasing,
Remus knew.
“Maybe,” he threw a flirt into his tone and rolled his eyes
before shutting the bathroom door with a pointed bang which only made his head
thump.
Washed, dressed, his head thumping, Remus packed up his
school bag. They only had double Potions that morning and a single Charms
lesson before having the rest of the afternoon off. Thank Christ for that. Complex brain power has got nothing on vodka.
“Someone should wake him up or he’s going to miss
breakfast,” Peter said, looking at Sirius’ curtains.
“I’ll do it,” Remus smiled, closing his bag and approaching
the curtains.
He didn’t know what he was expecting from Sirius that
morning. He felt excited and nervous in his stomach, but not fearful. Sirius
had grabbed him with so much passion, the night before as Remus had fallen into
bed he didn’t think that he was afraid of what the morning might bring. Sirius
himself had said he might have been drunk but he still knew that he liked it.
Smiling, Remus gently tugged back one of the curtains and
looked between them. But he didn’t get the view he expected. Sirius was already
up, dressed, sitting on the made bed looking back at him with glassy eyes.
Brown met grey and Remus’ stomach might have been on the floor all he knew.
Because there was no trace of the usual friendliness in Sirius’ eyes now and
his body language was stiff.
“I’m up,” He said.
“Oh,” Remus said stupidly. “So you… are.” He frowned, heart
accelerating.
“What’s this I hear about you letting Remus whore himself
out to the gay wizarding community?” James shouted
from his bed, and in alarm Remus saw Sirius’ eyes fly wider and his mouth fell
open slightly.
“I didn’t say anything about…” he motioned between them with
a whisper and pleading eyes.
Sirius shook his head. “Can you…”
“What?” Remus asked, kneeling one leg on the bed, but Sirius
put a hand up to stop him.
“Just get out of my face for now,” Sirius’ voice was hard.
Oh. Oh shit. Remus turned and numbly walked to
his bed, picking up his bag with a barely concealed shaking hand. “I’ll see you
guys at breakfast, I’ve just got to… to, um, check something.”
He made it to the door and managed to close it, before he
ran, hell for leather, tears burning in his eyes.
***
He missed breakfast. He didn’t care if the others questioned
where he was. He found himself outside, ankle deep in snow, his feet absolutely
freezing. He was walking back to the castle for Potions. He kept going through
the night before in his mind, wondering if he’d missed any signs that Sirius
had been messing around, or just playing along… but he couldn’t find any
evidence that that was the case. All he could bring up was the heat between
them, the deep kisses.
Bugger. A fresh wave of tears hit his face
and he stopped to wipe them off. He knew going out the night before would prove
to be a bad idea but he’d not imagined this. It’s your fault. You should have just said being in the gay club
bothered you and you could have gone somewhere else and the conversation would
never have turned to types and preferences and… dancing.
He set off again, wishing he could feel his feet. He jogged
up the castle steps, hoping to stamp some feeling into them but they weren’t
having it. He slipped slightly in the entrance hall and headed to the dungeons,
tremors starting to go through his body with the immense cold. He pointed his
wand at his trousers and shoes and dried them, but it didn’t bring the warmth
back to his body. There was a queue outside the dungeon classroom and he joined
the end of it, keeping his eyes on the floor, not wanting to look for Sirius or
draw James’ attention to him at the back of the queue.
It began to file in quicker than wanted, making him realise
how fine he’d cut the time. Suddenly he felt very, very glad that he sat next
to Severus Snape and not Sirius Black. As he sat down on his stool, dropping
his bag with a thud on the desk, he could feel two pairs of eyes boring into
his back. Severus was next to him, already lighting the fire under his cauldron
and peering at the board for instructions. Remus groaned internally. Brewing
lessons were the more chatty ones. Why on earth couldn’t today be the day that
Slughorn decided to reminisce about something, anything?
Remus poked his wand under his cauldron and set his own fire
burning. He looked at the board and tried to focus.
An hour into their double, however, it was clear that Remus
simply could not concentrate. The air was eerily silent behind him and he knew
that James would be wondering what was going on –normally Sirius couldn’t be
shut up in lessons like this. The tension was unbearable. Next to him, Severus
was counting under his breath as he stirred his Potion of Peace one hundred
times to the left, but Remus hadn’t realised that he was looking at him as he
did it, a slight frown on his face. Remus looked away, but saw Severus turn his
head slightly to peek over his shoulder at Sirius. Remus followed his eyes and
saw the beautiful face in a mask of thunder. He abruptly turned his neck back
and bit back his groan of despair.
Severus looked at him again and it made Remus feel even
worse. Severus opened his mouth to say something but was cut off when his
Potion suddenly exploded upwards and he fell back off his stool in surprise.
Remus lurched backwards himself before reaching out to haul the other boy off
the floor, where the potion was now trickling.
“What on earth happened, Snape?” Slughorn waddled over. “Unlike you.”
“Yes, it is,” Severus frowned at his cauldron, and then Remus
heard a snigger from behind them. James’ snigger.
And then Sirius’ laughter joined him. Maybe it was just
because he was upset, but the taunting caused anger to swoop in Remus’ belly. Anger at everyone. At James for being a dick, at Severus for
never doing himself any favours… and at Sirius, who had, despite his assurances
that he had known what he was doing, metaphorically kicked him in the balls by
spurning him that morning.
“Shut up,” he said, in their general direction. “Just shut up.”
Their grins froze on their faces and Severus blinked at
Remus.
“Professor Slughorn, I think if you test James’ wand you’d
find that he caused the potion to explode,” Remus scowled. “And if you don’t
find it there, try his,” he nodded at Sirius.
And then he threw himself back in his seat and grabbed the
plant he was meant to be chopping up, the silence in the lab ringing in his
ears. Severus sat down after Slughorn had cleared up the mess his exploded
cauldron had caused and purposefully looked over at Remus, who refused to look
back.
This continued until the bell rang. Without looking up,
Remus heard the seats shuffle behind them and footsteps as James, Sirius and
Peter walked away from him. His only true friends in the world… just walking out. And that was too much. Ashamed at himself
as he already was, Remus’ eyes burned and he bowed his head, glad the room was
emptying.
“Lupin?” Snape’s faltering voice shocked him
a little.
“Mm?” He muttered, reaching up to wipe
his face.
“Futile question, but are you alright?”
Remus nodded stupidly and pulled his bag towards him. Even
Slughorn had left now.
“Fine.” Severus turned to leave and Remus
suddenly couldn’t bear the thought of being alone with the truth.
“Wait, please… don’t go.” He bit his lip at how ridiculous
that sounded.
He expected Snape to keep on walking and leave him. He had
no reason to stop, turn around, and sit back down. But to both their surprise, he
did. He let his battered bag fall on the desk and he looked expectantly at
Remus.
“So come on then. Have you had an argument with him?”
“Who?” Remus hated that it was so obvious.
Severus tutted
under his breath and asked, “Black?”
Remus nodded, “Sort of.”
Severus was silent for a moment. He wasn’t particularly well
versed in comforting anybody, let alone other boys who he didn’t really like.
But Remus simply looked so pathetic sitting there even Severus felt some compassion towards his classmate.
“It must have been a pretty big fight?”
“Why do you think that?”
“Nothing minor breaks up the Gryffindor Dream Team, right?”
Severus’ tone was dripping with sarcasm.
Remus gave a bitter laugh and replied, “I don’t think you’ll
be calling us that much longer. They’ll be one down.”
Severus frowned at him. “That bad?”
Remus nodded and finally looked up at him. “You know when
you do something so incredibly stupid it ruins everything? Or is going to?”
Severus looked like he was about to disagree, when he sadly
lowered his eyes to the desk and said, “Yeah. I know.”
Remus assumed he was thinking about Lily, and how, despite a
strange little friendship in the first five years of school, they now no longer
spoke.
“Well then…you kind of get where I’m coming from?”
“What did you do?” Severus asked in the same quiet tone.
“It’s not… I don’t want to talk about it?” Remus ended in a
pleading tone.
“I think I can probably guess anyway,” Severus shrugged, and
reached out a hand for his bag again. “And… well. You might think you won’t get
better, because of what you are, but you can do better than him.”
He stood up, swung his back on his back and almost made it
to the door before Remus spoke to him. “How the hell did you know that?”
“I used my eyes, Lupin.”
“That obvious, huh?”
“To everyone except him and Potter,
probably. Maybe
that should tell you something.”
“But last night he acted like he…” Remus closed his eyes and
exhaled. “I don’t know. And I certainly don’t know why I’m sitting here telling
you all this.”
Severus didn’t reply but hovered by the door.
“And I don’t know why I even feel this way,” Remus picked
his bag up and got off his stool. “I don’t know if it’s just him or… I can’t…”
He broke off with a groan.
Usually so articulate, Severus found it hard to watch him
struggling. It was easy for him to see the turmoil that was going through
Remus’ head. Mainly because it was the same as what was in
his own. Not that Severus would ever fall for Sirius Black. He had to
fight back a choke at the thought. But the boy in front of him was a different
matter. Remus Lupin was soft around the edges, warm, friendly, handsome in his
own way. And Severus hated that he thought that, because where he grew up, he
was taught that men shouldn’t like other men and that made them disgusting if
they did.
And yet he was finding more and more of the boys around
school attractive. Not over Lily, nobody beat Lily, but still. And Remus was
one of his favourites to watch, he was ashamed to confess, even in his own
mind.
“I know it’s hard,” he said finally, walking closer to him. “Difficult to… feel.”
Remus looked up at him. “How do you know?”
“Do I need to spell it out?” Severus tilted his head with a
sarcastic glare.
“You… Sirius?” Was all Remus could
get out.
Severus actually laughed then. “Merlin, thank not. But the
other feelings of confusion you have, I… have those as well.”
Remus raised his eyebrows in comprehension. “Oh… I had no
idea. I thought you liked-”
“I do. Human heart is big enough for more than one feeling
at a time though, isn’t it?”
“I wouldn’t know, I’m not exactly human, am I?” Remus
muttered.
“Sorry, that was thoughtless,” Severus inwardly cringed.
Remus shrugged it off and walked closer to him, looking
thoroughly miserable. “Does it get easier?”
“Well how do you know I’ve felt this way for longer than
you?”
“True,” Remus admitted. “And I’ve been stupid for two years now; you’ve always
been cleverer than I am.”
“Two years?” Severus repeated. “That’s a long time… I mean
it’s not like you can get away from him.”
Remus felt a rush of affection for Severus which would have
had both James and Sirius spitting blood. But there he was, in front of him,
understanding, when they were nowhere to be seen. He was around Remus’ height,
just as thin, but his bones were smaller set and his face was framed by greasy
black hair, long, Remus wondered if it had ever been cut.
“So what did he do?” Severus turned and opened the door,
standing back for Remus to go through. Gentlemanly. Sirius never
holds anything open for me unless it’s at the full moon…
“We… might have got a bit drunk last night and… kissed for a
bit.”
“Tut tut, prefect,” Severus rolled
his eyes and they walked slowly down the corridor, both feeling odd walking
with each other.
“Please don’t tell anyone,” Remus asked him miserably.
“About the kissing or the getting drunk?” Severus
couldn’t help smirking.
“Either.”
They had reached the end of the corridor,
the only entrance Remus knew of was up into the main foyer of the school.
“There’s a passageway over there… if you want to walk some
more,” Severus looked at the floor as he said it, the kind gesture completely
alien to him. “You can keep talking.”
Remus nodded. Who needed Charms anyway?
“So you kissed last night?” Severus pressed as they turned
down the gloomy passage leading further down into the bowels of the castle.
“Yeah… and he seemed to like it. And then this morning he
woke up and told me to get out of his face.”
“Ouch,” Severus said unhelpfully. “And did he know how you
felt when he kissed you?”
Remus nodded. “I told him. I asked him to stop as he was
drunk and I didn’t want to get hurt and he insisted he knew what he was doing.”
“What an arsehole,” Severus said indignantly. “And then he had the cheek to do
that this morning?”
“He’s probably confused,” Remus said automatically, not
entirely sure why he was coming to Sirius’ defence.
“Well yeah, but you’re confused too. And I’m confused, I’m not kissing people then giving them the cold
shoulder because I don’t want to take responsibility for my actions.”
“Are you kissing people?” Remus asked shyly.
“I might be,” Severus answered with a sniff.
“Slytherins?”
“Who else would have me?” Severus gave a humourless snort of
laughter.
“We’re more alike than I ever would have thought,” Remus
shoved his hands deep in his pockets.
“I suppose,” Severus looked straight ahead as they walked.
“So what are you going to do?”
“Run away,” Remus nodded.
Severus laughed. “Seriously, what are you going to do?”
“No idea. Wait until he talks to me again.”
“And what about all the other stuff? If you’re… you know, really gay, or
just fancying him?”
“I guess I’ll figure that out along the way.”
Severus stopped and looked at him, deep in thought. “Would
sleeping with someone help?”
Remus choked and said, “What?”
“Would sleeping with another boy help you make your
decision?”
Wide eyed, Remus shrugged. “I don’t know? Probably?
Why, know any whores in this school other
than the one I’m currently in love with?”
Severus laughed again, an odd little sound that Remus
thought people should hear more.
“I’m just thinking we find ourselves in the same situation,”
Severus looked at him. “You need to know if you’re… you know, and with your
body so different to rest of us I’ll bet everything you feel is magnified…. And
I want to know if I… you know…”
It was possibly the clumsiest way Severus could have
explained himself, but then Remus seemed to understand what he was saying, from
the way his mouth fell open a little.
“We… couldn’t,” he frowned. “I mean… what if someone found
out?”
“Who would?”
“It’ll be… odd. We’d have to sit next to each other for the
rest of the year… knowing we’d…”
“Purely experimental,” Severus shook his head, greasy hair
flapping with the movement. Remus couldn’t help but draw the comparison to
Sirius’. I wanted my first time to be
with Sirius.
“Oh, I get it,” Severus nodded suddenly. “You wanted to be
with him the first time, right?”
“How do you know this would be my first?” Remus bit his lip.
“Because you would have told me you didn’t need my offer if it
wasn’t,” Severus outsmarted him.
“Where?” Remus couldn’t believe he was even
considering it.
“Well… most of the people in my house go to this broom
cupboard on the fourth floor. It’s bigger than the rest and none of the
teachers ever go near it…”
“Is that because people are always shagging in it?” Remus’
lip twitched with a grin and he shifted his bag on his back.
Severus grinned back at him, a strange sight. “Probably.”
“Now?” Remus still couldn’t believe he was
talking about it. But what the fuck does
it matter? Sirius doesn’t want you. Get it where you can. “And you don’t
mind that I’m…” he blushed.
Severus moved closer. “No. I don’t.”
“Maybe you should show me where it is, then.”
“Better the devil you know, right?” Severus whispered to
him.
***
Oh my God. Remus found himself inside the
broom cupboard faster than he would have liked.
“Are you okay?” Severus asked quietly, throwing down his bag
and turning around. “You can say no, you know? I’d understand.”
“I don’t want to say no… I’m just nervous?”
“I am too,” Severus went a little red.
“But it was your idea?”
“I’m a Slytherin. We’re cocky and we take the route best for
us… doesn’t mean we don’t get scared sometimes.”
Remus smiled at him. “And you’re sure nobody can hear in
here?”
“Nothing will beat a muffliato
unless its shoddy, I assure you it wasn’t.”
“So what do we do then?” Remus tried to sound confident.
Severus stared at him rather awkwardly. “I, um…”
Remus couldn’t help it, he laughed. Blind leading the blind here.
“Well. I guess… kissing would help?”
“I’ll put a bag over my head if you want?” Severus turned
away from him slightly.
Whether Severus was joking or he meant to provoke Remus into
showing some affection, the latter was what caused Remus to cross the short
space and touch his arm. “No, that’s not going to be necessary, Severus.”
“You sure?” Severus looked at him somewhat
bitterly.
“Look at me,” Remus frowned. “Am I really a love god myself?
Don’t answer that.”
Severus smiled at him and Remus bit his lip and put his arms
fully around the boy who, up until half an hour ago, had apparently been his
enemy.
Two heartbeats instantly accelerated, Remus felt slightly
sick. Awkwardly, their faces met and suddenly they were kissing, gently, in a
polite sort of manner. But that gave way to a steadier, firmer embrace, and
Remus was surprised to find it was he who gently teased Severus’ lips with his
tongue and pushed it into his mouth when they parted.
Severus pulled back and frowned slightly at him, as if
asking why.
“Isn’t that… just how people kiss?”
“I… I thought that was more an intimate thing,” Severus
looked down at the floor.
“I’m just trying to make it a bit easier,” Remus whispered apologetically.
“Sorry.”
“No, it’s… I liked it,” Severus’ eyes found Remus’ again and
he exhaled.
“So did I,” Remus smiled and shut
them both up by doing it again.
And he did it again and again, until somehow he had pressed
Severus up against the wooden panelling of the cupboard and the awkward
demeanour had dissolved entirely. There’s
no need for this to go any further. I already know this is a million times
better than kissing a girl. Wow.
“Mmm,” Severus murmured, and Remus pulled back.
“Okay?”
“You tell me,” Severus took one of Remus’ hands and placed
it over his own crotch.
“Wow,” Remus said, breathlessly. “That’s… huge.”
He thought Severus might combust in his arms. “I’m… Is it?”
“Bigger than mine.” About the same as Sirius.
Severus grabbed Remus through his uniform and he couldn’t
stop the gasp which came out of his lips, then the blush that followed.
“Not that much bigger,” Severus let his hand start to
massage and the heat properly flooded Remus’ face.
“Oh Merlin,” he breathed, his face falling forward to rest
on Severus’ shoulder, smelling his hair and skin as he did so; he smelt of
cinnamon.
“This’ll probably be easier if you’re on the floor,” Severus
murmured and Remus complied instantly, wanting the touch back.
Severus knelt next to him, biting his lip before placing his
hand over Remus’ crotch and surveying the thin body lying on wooden bottom of
the cupboard.
“Don’t tell me you like what you see?” Remus rolled his eyes.
“And if I did?” Severus challenged him.
“You wouldn’t,” Remus told him confidently.
“Then you’re as stupid as Black,” Severus leant forward and
kissed him, pushing his tongue into Remus’ mouth as he melted on the floor.
“Stupid because you can’t see how stupid Black is not to want you.” He
transferred his lips to Remus’ neck, which was lightly scarred in places, his
hand pulling down the zipper on his trousers. He had realised he’d be doing all
the work but he didn’t really care.
Remus groaned beneath him as his hand slid inside the
trousers and Severus pushed them lip to lip again.
“That feels really good,” Remus breathed, eyes fluttering
shut.
“I kind of guess this tells you what you wanted to know…” Severus said
thoughtfully.
“I suppose it does,” Remus agreed. “Does it tell you?”
“I like doing it to you… but you’ve not really touched me.”
Remus reached up and reversed their positions, wasting no
time in undoing Severus’ trousers and returning the touches he’d been on the
receiving end of only moments before.
“Uuugh,” Severus groaned and
pressed up into Remus’ hand.
“So, I think we can safely say that’s a yes,” Remus laughed
and leant down to kiss him.
“Yeah, I guess we can…”
“So what now?” Remus asked, stroking up and down
with his hand, feeling a strange pleasure as Severus gasped and twitched on the
floor.
“Do you want to… see it through properly?” Severus
whispered.
“I don’t know how to,” Remus scrunched up his face in
confession.
Severus sat up and rolled his eyes. “Well good thing at
least one of us reads, eh?” He kissed Remus again. “But I think… If you want to
save that for him, I understand. We both know what we wanted to know without
going that far. I’m not going to do it for the sake of it when we both know
you’d rather lose your virginity to someone more worthy.”
Remus frowned at that. “You’re just as worthy as anyone,” he
told Severus. “You’re so… negative.”
“And so are you,” Severus said. “So…”
“If you know how to do it,” Remus couldn’t believe he was
saying it, “Then… I want to.”
Severus was on top of him then, kissing him in a different
way to before. Much more passion flowed between them and Remus found himself
running his hands up and down the thin back, fingers spreading round his
ribcage, fighting the buttons of his school shirt.
Severus was doing the same to him and Remus suddenly felt
encumbered by shame. “Stop,” he breathed. “The shirt stays on.”
Severus looked at him fearfully, as if he’d been waiting for
the rejection.
“I’m just… really badly scarred and it’s not nice to look
at,” Remus blushed and closed his eyes.
He was surprised when Severus continued undoing the buttons
and pushed his shirt apart, and ducked his head to place a kiss on Remus’
chest. “It’s not that bad.”
Even Sirius winces
looking at my scars. Snape, you’re surprising me. “If you say so.”
“I do,” Severus kissed him gently.
After another ten minutes of kissing, groping and licking,
Remus found himself devoid of clothing. And what was odd about it was that he
didn’t even care. All he knew was that the feel of Severus’ tongue on his skin
was like nothing he’d ever felt before.
“You’ve got too many clothes left on,” he muttered, and
shoved down Severus’ trousers and underwear, ignoring that the latter were
baggy and greying.
“Sorry, didn’t expect to be doing this….” Severus breathed
bashfully into the skin of his neck.
“They only serve the purpose of keeping your balls from
sticking to your legs anyway,” Remus stroked down his back. “You look much
better out of them.”
“And so do you out of yours, even if they’re nicer than mine,”
Severus bit his lip. “Maybe I should pay Potter to yank you up in the air and
take your trousers off so I can see them on a regular basis.”
“Oh god,” Remus went cold at the memory of the summer before
when James had done that to Severus. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry about that.”
Severus shut him up with a kiss, clearly unwilling to
discuss anything more than the matter at hand. His hand groped over Remus’ now
bare crotch and evoked a hiss.
“Can I try something?” Severus whispered to him.
“What?”
“Um, blow job?”
“Thought you’d never ask,” Remus somehow found the strength
to be jovial. Oh shit.
Severus apparently wasn’t only skilled at kissing. As his
tongue licked the end of Remus’ erection, Remus thought fireworks might be
exploding somewhere. He groaned as Severus sat up again, a grin on his thin
lips.
“What?”
“Just wanted to see if it was as weird as I thought it might
be.”
“Was it?”
“It wasn’t weird at all, it was great.”
“Felt amazing,” Remus breathed.
Severus grabbed him up to a kneeling position and pushed
their naked bodies together. Remus felt the heat intensify around them and
Severus was kissing him again, tongues rubbing together whilst one of his hands
crept over his arse sneakily.
“Mmmm,” Remus muttered. “Nice.”
“Do you still want to…?”
Remus nodded without letting him finish his sentence.
“And you want to be me topping you, not the other way
round?”
Remus nodded and lay down pointedly on the bottom of the
cupboard, going as far as to spread his legs. He was even only cringing
marginally inside.
“Eager, aren’t we?” Severus quirked an eyebrow but smiled.
“One problem, we don’t have any lubrication.”
“Do we need it?”
“I think you’ll want it,” Severus looked at him doubtfully.
“It hurts even with it, apparently.”
“Where are you getting all this superior knowledge from?”
“A magician never reveals his secrets,” Severus grinned and
ran a finger over Remus’ sac.
“Well then, neither will this one,”
Remus fumbled for his wand and pointed it at Severus, coating his erection in a
silky fluid.
“How did you do that?” Severus asked, running a hand over it
and gasping at how quickly his hand slithered off the end.
“Nope,” Remus shook his head. “Hand.”
“I thought you said you didn’t know what had to happen?”
“Well I’m not a complete idiot,” he sent some of the
lubricant over Severus’ hand. “Now shut up and put it to good use.”
“You’re a gobby little wolf, aren’t you?” Severus
raised an eyebrow.
Severus closed the gap between them and put his hand down
below the balls he’d just been tracing. “You’re sure?”
“Just do it,” Remus bit his lip.
So Severus did, and pushed in with his finger into the hot,
tight space.
“Ohmygod,” Remus couldn’t separate
the words.
“Does it hurt?” Severus asked, steadily continuing to push.
“Sort of. Sort of not
though.”
“So articulate,” Severus rolled his eyes and moved the
finger up and down, making Remus cry out.
He carried on until he felt he should add another finger,
and Remus was crying out obscenities which seemed so odd falling from his
polite mouth.
“Oh, yeah, I seem to remember you calling me a wanker earlier this week,” Severus scissored
his fingers.
“I’m s-sorry,” Remus closed his eyes. “I was upset with
you.”
“Because I guessed the truth?”
“I didn’t know it was that, ah Christ, obvious…”
He wiggled on the floor and Severus pulled out, trying not
to look at what might be left on his hand. He gave it a few surreptitious wipes
on the floor before crawling up over Remus’ slight body and positioning himself
where he guessed must be right.
“Are you absolutely sure you don’t want to save this for-”
“I want it to be now. He can cry about missing out on it all
he likes.”
Severus liked that thought, that Black would be jealous of
what they had done, should he ever find out. And Remus was too far lost in the
sexual sensations to care anymore. He was hurt and this was making him feel
much, much better. Severus swallowed and gently pulled Remus’ knees upward as
he pushed his hips forward.
“Oh Christ that burns,”
Remus cried and Severus instantly stopped. “Keep going, it’ll go away, I guess…
nobody would do it if, ah ow… if it only ever felt
like this.”
Severus did as he was told, biting his lip as his dick was
squeezed tightly by the hot warmth. “Have to say its feeling brilliant from
this angle,” he grunted, “So much tighter than with a girl.”
Finally, Severus found he could push no more, so he released
he knees he was gripping and reached down to pull Remus into his arms properly,
feeling his legs wrap around his hips, feet pushing into his backside.
“Fuck it,” Severus gasped, finally unable to hide the
pleasure he was experiencing.
“Does it feel good?” Remus panted at him, face a sweaty
mess.
“Better than I thought it would…” Severus ducked his head to
kiss Remus’ scarred shoulder.
He thrust forward with his hips and Remus cried out in pain
before muttering an obscenity of his own. “Okay, that end
part, that felt good.”
Severus thrust again, slower this time, and angled deeper,
causing Remus to tilt his head back, his cock squashed between them. “If you
touch yourself it’ll probably feel better?”
Remus did as he was advised and stroked his erection with a
tentative hand, before realising that Severus was right.
“Ohhh yeah,” he groaned, as
Severus thrust again and sucked gently on the side of his throat. “Is it meant
to feel like this? With someone you barely know?”
Severus couldn’t answer. He was thrusting and his cock was
on fire, and his balls were tightening. “Shit,” he muttered, closing his eyes,
and moaned into the skin of Remus’ neck as he came into the other boy with time
stopping slowness, each pump burning deliciously as it left him.
“Oh my god, did you just…” Remus
sped up his hand and Severus pulled up slightly to join it with his own.
He watched as together they double teamed Remus’ erection
into exploding all over the soft stomach it sat on, and heard Remus gasp and
call out his name with desperation he knew had been his own only moments
before.
“Wow,” Remus breathed and tilted his head back to pant up
into the cupboard, stomach shaking as he did so. “I don’t think wanking is ever going to be enough again.”
With a shaky laugh, Severus pulled out, reaching for his
wand. “Scourgify,” he directed it first at himself,
then Remus. And then he reached for his clothes, trying to enjoy the sated
feeling seeping through his veins.
He could tell from the sleepy, starry look on Remus’ face
that he was doing the same.
“I guess if we were in bed this would be the part where you’d smoke,” Severus
winked at him, stepping into his trousers. “Or fall asleep.”
Remus laughed and shrugged into his shirt. “I suppose so.”
All too soon, they were fully dressed, and Remus looked
around. “So what now…”
“You go and fight for that bastard that you love,” Severus
didn’t look at Remus when he said that, and picked up his schoolbag.
“He is a bastard,” Remus agreed. “Especially
to you.”
“You can’t change him,” Severus looked up sharply. “And
don’t try. It’ll only ruin your chances with him.”
“Still. I should have more of a backbone,”
Remus picked up his wand doubtfully, which he pocketed. “They’re going to
notice we both weren’t in Charms.”
“There’s no reason for them to realise we were together…
they assume you’re like them and hate me.”
“They don’t, actually… they know I don’t like how they treat
you.”
“They just choose not to listen?”
Remus nodded.
“You should find some new friends, Remus. They don’t deserve
you.”
“They do too much for me for me to hate them…”
“They’re not the only people in the world that’d do it,
though I suppose it must feel like that.”
Remus nodded and put a smile on his face, determined not to
lose his post-ejaculation happy glow. He stepped forward and embraced Severus
in a way he’d never dreamed of doing up until an hour ago. Severus awkwardly
hugged him back.
“I’m going to clear off to the shack for the afternoon,”
Remus muttered. “Just stay out of their way, okay?”
“I’ll try,” Severus pulled back. “You go first,” he motioned
to the cupboard. “And… thanks, I guess.”
Remus smiled at him and gave him another fierce hug, and
exited the cupboard.
Severus watched the door close quietly with his mouth open.
“What, not even a fucking thank you?” he whispered, shocked, to the dark wood,
noticing his hands were shaking.

Remus knew exactly where he was going. Being a werewolf had
to have some advantages, and that came in the form of a miserable house that
nobody went near, a house that was built specifically for him to ruin and be
his worst in. And he knew when the happy glow from the humungous favour Severus
had just done him had worn off; he would most certainly be at his very worst.
Shit, I forgot to say
thank you.
