AN: I decided to rewrite this chapter because I believe I did Harry a huge disservice in the way I portrayed him. It just didn't make sense when I read over it that simply disarming him would make the wands effects neutral, especially after the emphasis of how Grindelwald fell pray to it's influence. Also, I don't believe Harry would be one to trust so easily like the cannon version is portrayed. I don't believe Harry would work well under the harsh regime I put him in after his enslavement under the Dursleys and so I couldn't move on until I changed that. My apologies for it's shortness but I'm getting ready to go on vacation and am writing this between laundry loads.

The influence of the Elder Wand upon Harry Potter's much diluted Saiyajin blood would probably not have been as immediate or all-consuming of the boy's psyche had Hagrid not suggested a return to the Dursleys the second the child had exited the wandmaker's shop. The air seemed to electrify as a vacant expression overtook the Potter heir's features, memories overwhelming his mind at the mention of his guardians, his green eyes suddenly swallowed by a sea of red to match the blood shed by the dark wood of the wand clenched in his hand as it pierced the meat of his palm and slid home to lodge itself in the space between his radius and ulna, visibly pulsating there. Trunks' tail fur bristled at the unconscious mental broadcasting from the youth and knew he would dare Dumbledore's awareness sooner rather than later as he refused to allow one he considered "his" to be subjected to such atrocities especially those committed by people that should have been considered Potter's pack.

"TAIYOKEN"(1)

The simulated solar flare bathed the magical alleyway in blinding light and in the resulting confusion Trunks managed to collect Potter's supplies from the ground where the half-giant dropped them, grab the boy, and race for the cover of the bank and ally territory.

Locked within the confines of Trunks' quarters, pandemonium ensued. Upon his release, Potter attacked, teeth bared and fingernails extended into claws, Oozaru instincts driving his every action. Trunks evaded the attacks with ease keeping his tail loose and flicking it tauntingly behind him silently displaying his superiority to the untrained cub, allowing the boy to wear himself out without so much as touching him. Disgruntled with the blow to his pride and dissatisfied with the lack of bloodshed the possessed child turned his red-eyed fury upon the packages that littered the floor.

Trunks smiled in amusement at the grotesque satisfaction the younger took in wringing the neck of his owl before plucking her bare and feasting on the fresh meat. Purring in satisfaction from a full belly, with many yawns and knuckling of pupiless red eyes with bloodied fists, the boy set about the meticulous gathering of the scattered pages of his spellbooks, the feathers and down from the owl and with cautious glances in Trunks' direction, fashioned himself a nest in the corner.

Leaving the boy to his nest making, Trunks moved to the desk and the missive he'd yet to open. Resigned to another responsibility, he slit open the wax seal and withdrew the single index-sized card which bore three words:

THE SORCERER'S STONE

"Odd." he muttered to himself, flipping the card over as though he might find more information. It was extremely unusual for his business partners to request something wizard-made. Even rarer still was a request for something that so obviously belonged to those that possessed it in the first place. Goblins were not thieves, after all. "Not to mention it should already be held here anyway. Wonder what they're playing at."

Casting a quick glance at Potter's corner, Trunks noted that the boy seemed thoroughly distracted with the task of undressing himself one article of clothing at a time and shredding the material into strips for better insulation of his sleep area. Knowing he wouldn't be missed, the demi-saiyajin occupied the bathroom, plugging the sink and dropped the missive into the water along with seven drops of blood.

"SHOW ME"

The written words glowed golden at the scrying command and the pink swirls of diluting blood took on the shape of runes, moving to ring the sides of the sink in creation of a barrier, before the water became milky as though fogged and images appeared.

Plunging his hand into the sink Trunks withdrew the missive and canceled out the rune magic, a glint sparkled in his eye now, one that only surfaced when faced with an especially challenging opponent. He now understood the goblins reasoning behind this assignment. As long as the Stone had been in Flammel's name it was safe as the goblin's respect for a creator's rights overruled any temptations a stone that could turn any metal to gold may have presented them.

However, coupled with the deep insult to the goblin's pride by assuming Hogwarts would be more capable in keeping it secure than Gringotts had done for the last seven centuries and the fact the stone had been written over to one Albus Dumbledore, a perpetual thorn in Gringotts side, creators rights no longer applied and the goblin's wanted that "Midas touch".

"Oh, I am going to enjoy this year."

1. Taiyoken is the 'solar flare' technique Tenshihan invents and everyone seems to know how to use in DBZ. It basically blinds the enemy with a flash of light so intense it rivals the sun.
