Ginny hummed to herself as she set the table for dinner. All afternoon she'd had to struggle to keep herself from grinning. 'I'm dating Lucius Malfoy' she sang to herself inside her head. She resisted the urge to pinch herself.
"Smells good. What are we having." Harry asked, walking into the kitchen. "You look cheerful. What are you so happy about?
"Bangers and mash. Where's Draco?" She looked behind Harry into the hall.
"At his father's." Harry said, sitting down at the table. "He called me and said Lucius had called this afternoon and told him he needed him to come to the Manor immediately. He said we shouldn't wait dinner. So why the huge smile?"
"No reason. Can't I just be happy?" Ginny asked, placing the serving dishes on the table. "I hope there's nothing wrong. Did Draco say anything else?" In her head worry had set in, 'I hope he's not telling Draco about our arrangement'. She wasn't quite sure how her roommate would take the news and had wanted to wait a while before they told anyone. She cursed herself for having neglected to mention that to Lucius.
"It didn't sound like it." Harry said, taking a spoonful of mashed potatoes. "He just said he needed Draco's help with something."
"Oh." Ginny said, cutting into one of her sausages. She looked up when she saw a flash of green coming from the living room and Draco entered the kitchen.
"Oh good, you're not finished eating yet. I'm famished." He sat down at the table and pulled the serving dishes to him.
"What did your father want?" Harry asked.
"It's the strangest thing." Draco said, chewing carefully. "He'd bought himself a mobile phone and he wanted me to show him how to work it."
At that moment, Ginny's phone chimed, indicating she had a text. A small smile touched her lips. From; Lucius Malfoy: Hi. Are you impressed?"
"A mobile phone?" Harry exclaimed. "Why in Merlin's name would he want a mobile phone?"
Ginny typed quickly and hit send: "Impressed that you had Draco teach you how to use your phone? Not really. You couldn't read the directions yourself?"
"He says he needs to change with the times. So many of his business partners and investors are using mobile's and muggle technology, he figures if you can't beat them join them."
Ginny's phone chimed again: "I'm hurt, don't you know the first rule of business is delegate, delegate, delegate?"
Ginny typed and hit send. "Ah. So you've delegated the task. How do I know this is you and not your house elf? LOL."
"What kind of phone did he get?" Harry wondered.
"A Samsung 4G Android. It's really nice. In fact it's a lot like Ginny's."
Ginny glanced up upon hearing her name, but then glanced down as she received another text: "LOL?"
Ginny giggled and typed a response: "Laugh out loud".
"He had me add all these contacts from my phone, you, Ginny, Uncle Severus."
Ginny's phone rang and she answered on the first ring, Lucius' deep voice sent shivers down her spine. "Do I sound like a house elf?"
"Professor Snape has a mobile?" Harry brow furrowed in shock.
"Yeah." Draco laughed. "And a laptop. It's all part of Hermione's computer campaign. McGonagall loved the idea so now all the Hogwarts teachers have mobiles and laptops. I think he's supposed to have a Face book page..." Draco's voice faded away as Ginny moved to her bedroom.
"You definitely do not sound like a house elf Mr. Malfoy." She said, trying to keep the nervous giggle out of her voice.
"Lucius." He purred into the phone.
"Excuse me?"
"My name is Lucius. Remember we're dating now."
"Oh that's right." Ginny laughed. "How could I forget."
"Perhaps because we have never been on a date. I am calling you to remedy that situation. Would you like to join me for dinner Friday night?"
"I would love that. Oh by the way, you didn't tell Draco about our arrangement did you."
"No." He was silent on the line for a moment. "I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet. I hope you don't mind."
Ginny let out a sigh of relief. "No. I don't mind at all. In fact I'm a little concerned about what his reaction will be."
"As am I." Lucius chuckled. "So, I was thinking we might have dinner at the Glass Cauldron if that is acceptable to you."
"Wow. Fancy." Ginny said, mentally running through her wardrobe wondering if she had a nice enough dress to wear.
"Why don't you floo here at 7:00 and then I can apparate us to the restaurant."
"If you would adjust your wards, I'd rather apparate to the Manor. Our floo is right in the living room and I never know where Draco and Harry will be."
"Oh course, how silly of me. I can certainly arrange that. In fact I will change them now so you can apparate here anytime you would like."
"Thank you. So I will see you at 7:00 on Friday."
"I look forward to it. Goodnight Ginny, sleep well." And he disconnected.
Ginny wandered back in to the kitchen, sitting down at the table, she poked at the remainder of her dinner.
"Who was that?" Harry asked.
"Who was what?"
"On the phone."
"Oh. No one." Ginny sighed, taking a small bite of mashed potatoes.
Draco let out a sharp bark of laughter. "I sure wish I had a 'no one' who could put a smile on my face like...Hey!" He turned to stare at Harry's glaring face. "You didn't have to kick me. You know you're the only 'no one' for me."
"I think I'm going to be sick." Ginny laughed, carrying her plate to the sink. "Night guys. I'm think I"m going to watch some TV in my room and the go to bed early."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ginny stood in front of her full length mirror, turning slowly to the left and then to the right. She wore a floor length, satin gown in emerald green. The front of the dress scooped low, showing off the tops of her breasts, the back plunged deep, stopping just above the crack of her arse. She had purchased the dress ages ago, but never had the occasion or the guts to wear it. Slipping her feet into gold sandals, she wrapped a long cloak around her shoulders and left her bedroom.
"Bye guys." She called over her shoulder. "Going out, don't wait up."
"Hang on." Draco called from his place on the couch. "Aren't you going to use the floo?"
"Nope." She said, poking her head around the corner. "Apparating to meet Hermione. Gotta go, dreadfully late."
"Hermione or 'no one' I wonder?" Harry said, but she was already out the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Ginny. Right on time." Lucius said, walking down the front steps of the manor to greet her. "If you are ready, we can leave right away." He held out his arms to her.
Ginny took a deep breath before stepping into his embrace. His strong arms and the smell of his cologne made her feel light headed and weak in the knees. She was glad he had a strong hold on her, or she might have fallen when they appeared before restaurant.
"May I take your cloak?" He asked when she stepped away from him. Lucius heart leap to his throat when she removed her outer garment. His eyes widened as he stared greedily at the tops of her breasts.
"Lucius?" She said, a hint of amusement in her voice as she held her cloak out for him to take.
"You look ravishing." He whispered, his eyes shamelessly roaming over her body as he blindly reached for her cloak. He had known that she was a beautiful women, but in this dress, her hair softly curled to frame her face, he could not take his eyes off of her.
Ginny blushed and an excited shiver ran through her. There was no longer any question in her mind, Lucius Malfoy wanted her as much as she wanted him. She did a little internal happy dance.
They were both startled back to reality by the Maitre d." May I escort you to your table?" He asked, bowing low at the waist.
Ginny had to suppress another shiver when Lucius placed his finger tips lightly on the small of her back. Taking advantage of the cut of her dress, he had clearly placed them as low as they could go. If he stretched out his index finger, he could insert it into the crack of her arse, Ginny thought wickedly.
"When they reached their table, he held out her chair for her. Ginny saw him wince a little and tug on the leg of his trousers before sitting down himself. She covered her mouth with her hand to suppress a giggle. 'Had his trousers gotten smaller since he put them on or had he gotten bigger?' She wondered.
Lucius smirked at her as he caught her suppressed giggle. "If you are thinking what I think your thinking, then yes, I currently have physical proof that your question to my solicitor was completely unnecessary."
Ginny's eyes widened and her face felt flushed. Had Lucius Malfoy just intimated to her that he had an erection? Caused by her?
"You know." He said slowly, gazing over the table at her. "I promised myself, before this date, that I would remain a perfect gentleman until we had gotten to know each other better. Looking at you in that dress, I can't help but wonder why I would make such a stupid promise."
"Do you intend to keep that promise?" Ginny teased, the knowledge that he desired her gave her courage.
"Yes." He said, unfolding his napkin and placing it on his lap. "So quickly, tell me everything there is to know about you." He glanced up and winked rakishly at her.
Ginny giggled out loud. "You know Draco always says you're funny. But I never believed him. You always seem so dour and serious to me."
"Well being a Death Eater will do that to you. The Dark Lord had an abysmal sense of humor. He could make Severus Snape seem like a stand up comedian. Would you care to look at the menu?"
"Yes. I would." She sat up and took the folder from his hand. Opening it up, her face fell. "It's in French."
"Ahhhh. Yes, so it is." He frowned. "Well there are two ways to handle this situation. One, you could close your eyes and point. But I make no guarantees with that method. Or two, if I may, would you do me the honor of allowing me to order for you."
"Well." Ginny laughed. "While I do always enjoy a good mystery. I think I will let you order for me."
"Excellent choice. Now were you thinking chicken or perhaps some beef." He looked up from the menu and frowned. "And that was truly not meant to sound like a double entendre."
"I think I'll go with chicken."
"Oh you're no fun." Lucius pouted as he set the menus aside. Ginny watched in fascination as Lucius placed their order and conversed with the waiter in French. He was so handsome and confident. Heat pooled between her legs as she imagined him speaking French to her while they made love.
"So are you impressed now?" He asked, smiling at her as he poured her a glass of red wine. "Since apparently learning how to work a mobile phone in one afternoon is just no big deal to you."
"Yes Lucius." She smiled back. "I am very impressed."
But the more important question," he leaned closer to her, glancing at the other tables around them before locking eyes with her, "did it excite you?"
"Now Lucius." She said, tsking her tongue at him. "I thought you were going to be a gentleman."
"Oh right. We are meant to be getting to know each other, aren't we." Leaning back in his chair, he tapped his index against his lips. "So, what's your favorite color, favorite food, favorite book? Are you a virgin? What do you miss most about school? Who was your first lover? Do you enjoy your job? If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? What color are your knickers?"
Ginny stared at him for a moment then burst out laughing. Wiping a tear from her eye, she took a sip of wine, set the glass back down and folded her hands. "Green, my mother's Yorkshire pudding, Little Plum, it's a muggle children's book, no, Quidditch and being with friends, none of your business." She took a deep breath and continued. "Yes very much, Belize and I'm not wearing any. Your turn."
So how long do you think Lucius can remain a gentlemen...how long with Ginny LET him remain a gentlemen?
