Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or the characters of said fandom. I do not profit from my writing, it's simply for my enjoyment. |
Kain – I can see where you are coming from. The rush thing. In truth, I already knew she would be a foster child. Why? Simple, there are plots further down in the story that involve her being so, plots I have already planned. As for her boyfriend's faults, it's easy. Xavia isn't one to complain. She doesn't like talking about her problems or her home life. She rather keep them at bay. She is a quiet girl that keeps everything to herself, until it's too much and she can't hold the secrets any more.
If it seems a bit rush, I apologize. I'm not a very good romance writer yet... and I'm having a hard time deepening their relationships... But, nevertheless thank you for your faithful reviews.
As for the Golden Trio, yes, I agree. They went through a LOT! But, in Ginny's favour, they always pushed her to the background, forgot about her. When she saved them, or helped them they never thanked her. Now that the evil is gone, you would think Harry would want to spend all his time with the girl he 'loves', and yet, he barely notices her. It hurts her feelings to know she cared for him so and he doesn't hardly return it, thus slowly causing her to fall out of love with him.
As Xavia explained for herself, she matured, she found herself always looking towards the 'bright' side, even if what was there was always very little or slight. She doesn't let herself dwell on the dark, because she sees what that can do to people, for example other foster children and Harry.
But, I make no excuses. I'm simply enjoying trying a new type of story, one I've NEVER written before. It's enjoyable to try and expand my writing abilities, and it's helping me learn where I lack.
And with your faithful reviews, it helps me greatly.
However, being the lazy person I am... I'm not willing to go back and try and change it. Lol
Despite my issues, I'm glad you are enjoying it.
A/N: This is just a simple filler chapter.
Secret Affair: Love and Despair
Chapter 4: Colin Weekend
Breath harsh and ragged, two girls dressed in red and gold darted down the hallways. The blonde hearing footsteps, quickly pushed the redhead into a niche in the wall hiding her from sight. She let out a startled gasp at the sudden push, her chest meeting the wall hard enough to knock the remaining air from her already breathlessly lungs. Unable to turn around, she resigned herself to simply listen.
“What do we have here,” the drawl was oddly familiar and dark, “Ms. Johnston, should you not be in bed? It is more then an hour past curfew.”
“I'm sorry Professor,” Xavia didn't sound apologetic at all, “I was doing my homework and I realized I left my bag down in the dungeon. Since my assignment is due tomorrow and I'm not done, I thought I would risk it by running down to get it.”
The silence was heavy and unsettling before he spoke, “that still does not allow for you to be out of your common room. Fifty points from Gryffindor and a weekend of detention. This is the third time I've caught you running around after hours, Ms. Johnston, I can not simply over look it this time.”
“I understand,” her voice was soft and accepting, “what time shall I be at your classroom tomorrow night?”
“No later then seven, you may come earlier if you wish.”
Ginny waited for several horrifying minutes, when she finally felt it was safe she continued on to the common room. Xavia was sitting beside the portrait with a look of fear on her face.
“You didn't have to do that,” Ginny rushed forward in concern.
“That is the least of our problems, Gin,” Xavia glanced at the portrait as if it would attack her, “Harry, Ron, Hermione and Colin are all awake... waiting for us.”
“Oh,” it took a second for her words to sink in, “oh Merlin.”
“I'm out of excuses! My excuse that I used with Professor Snape won't work here, it doesn't take an hour to go to the dungeons and back!”
“Well, um,” she fumbled for an excuse.
“We have to hurry, Filch always patrols here around this time, if we don't get in soon, I'm going to end up with more detention for disobeying an order and my fight to keep you out of trouble will be for nought,” Xavia glanced around with nervous eyes, her hands shaking.
“I don't know! I don't want him to know! Not like this,” Ginny panicked.
“No time! Filch is coming,” the blonde quickly whispered the password and pushed Ginny through the opening.
The two stumbled, landing right into the deathly silent common room occupied by four very upset house mates. Sharing a nervous look and a deep blush, they faced their irate friends head on. They would think of something good even if it would be on the spot. If they couldn't, this would not bode well, as one or both would have to come out with the truth.
“Where have you been,” Harry asked, pinning his girlfriend with hard eyes.
“It's my fault,” Xavia jumped in, “I brought her down to the dungeons with me because I needed to collect my bag. There is a huge assignment due and I forgot it in class.”
That was a partial truth. There was an assignment due, worth about half of her overall grade, but she hadn't forgot it in class rather she had forgotten it in the classroom after a tryst with Blaise. She had noticed the time and had quickly gathered Ginny and made a mad dash for it. They had almost made it back to the common room when she realized she was missing it, and Ginny had insisted on going back with her.
“That doesn't take an hour,” Hermione pointed out hauntingly.
“No,” Ginny sighed, “but I convinced her to stay behind with me and set up a joke on the Slytherins.”
“You risked getting a detention from Snape just to pull a joke on the Slytherins? While I don't mind the joke,” Ron shook his head, “you shouldn't be out past curfew.”
“Even so, placing a joke doesn't take that long,” Colin reminded the older redhead.
“We ran into complications, we almost got caught so we hid and waited for them to leave. We gave up trying to set up the joke and ran back here. Xavia hid me and ended up getting caught by Snape.”
“Fifty points from Gryffindor and the next two nights of detention,” Xavia dead-panned.
“But, it's the weekend,” Colin frowned, “what about what we had planned tomorrow.”
“I can still go. Detention isn't till seven...”
The rest of the night was filled with Ron's exclaims about horrible Slytherins and their dirty rotten Head of House, Hermione's unbelieving glances, and Harry acting as if nothing had happened. Colin was a mix of Ron and Hermione. The girls quickly whipped up a very detailed and surprisingly matching story, making it just a little bit more believable.
They were thoroughly worried. This wasn't the first time they had almost been caught, and if things kept going like this, it wouldn't be the last. How many more times could they be caught before more then just Hermione was truly suspicious? From now on they would simply just have to take more precautions.
~~~£~~~
“Good morning,” Colin greeted them cheerily as they entered the common room.
Both girls groaned, Colin was a morning person. He was active and happy from the second his eyes opened, however the girls were not. They both needed a good hour and a substantial amount of food to fully wake up and appreciate the day. The boy chuckled and lead them down to the Great Hall. Thankfully he remained silent until they had dug into their breakfast.
“What should we do today,” Colin asked excitedly.
“I don't know, it's December so our sources of entertainment are restricted. As much as I love the snow, I don't feel like getting the flu again,” Xavia frowned at the thought.
“Being outside is ruled out. The library will be completely packed full of students doing their homework so they can spend the rest of the weekend free,” Ginny frowned thoughtfully, “we can always go to the room of requirement, but what would we do there?”
“Not study,” Colin piped up immediately, “we haven't seen each other really in three months!”
“So if studying is out of the question,” Xavia shoved another bite of waffle into her mouth, “what else is there?”
“Winter sucks sometimes,” Ginny said solemnly.
“Agreed,” Colin and Xavia chorused.
“We still haven't gotten anywhere,” Colin picked up a piece of toast and bit into it viciously.
“There is always wizards chest,” Ginny offered.
“I'm no good at that game,” Xavia scowled, her fork clanking loudly against her plate, “you know, the room is magical. Maybe we could... oh, I don't know... wish for a swimming pool or something?”
“Swimming sounds great,” Colin grinned happily, “we can stop by the common room on the way up and get our bathing suits.”
“I guess that settles that then,” Ginny rolled her eyes at her friend's ecstatic behaviour.
The trio finished their food with gusto. With a quick stop by their dorms, they changed into their bathing suits and hid them under their clothes, they headed off to the room of requirement. They had barely made it to the stairs when a group of familiar voices drifted up from the floor below.
“Uh oh,” Ginny whispered, leaning over the balcony to watch the fight.
“Should we just leave them? I mean, it's none of our business right,” Xavia asked uncertainly.
“Harry and them can handle themselves,” Colin stated.
“Not with reinforcements,” Ginny pointed franticly toward the fast approaching group of Slytherins consisting of Pansy, Millicent, Gregory, and Vincent.
“Can we not have a single day of piece,” Colin asked miserable, noticing his younger brother stepping up to aid Harry.
“I guess that is just way to much too ask,” Xavia sighed and began trudging her way down the stairs.
“Sometimes there is just way too much drama in this school,” Ginny groaned, following the blonde.
As they descended the stairs, they were able to make out what was going on. The Slytherins accused Harry and Ron of sharing a 'girlfriend', even knowing quite well that Harry was dating Ginny. Hermione was flushed, her whole body seeming to glow a soft pink in her embarrassment of such horrible accusations. As if the prim and proper Hermione would ever date two guys at once.
Xavia and Ginny shared a glance, guilt written heavily on their faces for a second before they pulled themselves together. That feeling was for another time, to get caught in such a state would cause angry and bitter words to be said that weren't meant to be. They picked up their pace when Pansy and Millicent joined in the insults.
Just as their feet hit the main floor, Pansy was pulling out her wand. She shook it violently, her face redder then Hermione's.
“What's the matter Parkinson, can't stand the truth,” Ron hissed angrily.
A muffled scream spouted from her mouth. Embarrassed and flustered she moved her wand, fully intent on hexing him. Before the words could even leave her mouth, her wand went flying through the air to land in Xavia's hand.
“You know, no matter how upset you are, you shouldn't attack someone who isn't properly armed, it's cowardly,” she chided, twirling Pansy's wand in her left hand, while her wand was held tightly in her right.
“When did you grab your wand,” Colin stared at her in shocked awe.
“The second Parkinson drew her's,” she shrugged and walked forward into the group, “now, why don't we all act like adults and go our separate ways. Aren't we a bit to old for all this?”
“Who the hell are you to tell us what to do,” Millicent hissed, turning her nose up at the Gryffindor.
“I'm simply making a suggestion,” Xavia held out Pansy's wand, returning it to it's rightful owner, “go right ahead and make fools of yourselves.”
“One of these days,” Ginny chimed in, “you won't be so lucky and instead of us finding you it will be a Professor and you will end up expelled. Honestly, I think we are all growing rather tired of this.”
“I would like just one uninterrupted day to spend with my friends,” Colin scowled, pinning a glare at the gaping students.
“Agreed,” Ginny and Xavia chorused.
“Now, off to where we were headed,” Xavia said excitedly, slipping her arm through Colin's and tugging him back up the stairs.
Ginny laughed, entwining her arm with Colin's free one, “it's already eleven! Not much time left till Xavia has to disappear for the night.”
“Oh yes,” the girl dead-panned, “I would so love to disappear.”
“That would be to nice for you, wouldn't it? I don't envy you,” Colin grinned, “detention with Snape is hell.”
“Don't remind me,” she groaned, “let me enjoy my day as if my nightmare is still years away instead of hours.”
Ginny and Colin laughed at her overly dramatic act. She grinned at them, wiggling her eyebrows, making them laugh harder. As they crested the stairs, and headed for the next flight, they could hear the group below finally come out of their shock and angrily separate ways, all of them thoroughly and utterly embarrassed by being called a child in a round about way.
“It would be too good to be true for that to be the last fight... wouldn't it,” Colin solemnly questioned.
“Of course! Our lives would be so much easier if they would all just pretend that the others don't exist,” Ginny huffed, “but when have our lives ever been easy?”
“I think that they simply don't have anything to spice up their lives any more and have simply taken to getting into fights a lot more often then they used to. I guess it's to fill in the void where Voldemort used to take up time and thoughts,” Xavia ran her fingers through her hair.
“Great,” Colin rolled his eyes, “this is the first time I've seen Denis step up in a fight like that. I have a lot to worry about if he continues with that kind of behaviour. My mum will kill me if he gets hurt or expelled.”
“I wish we could talk sense into them,” Ginny's shoulders slumped.
Only Xavia knew exactly who Ginny was talking about, “yeah, so do I.”
“We're here,” Colin glanced at them both, “may I do the honours?”
“By all means,” Ginny slightly bowed and waved her hand towards the wall.
He shook his head at her and began pacing. Ever so slowly the door materialized as they patiently waited. Colin, being the gentleman he was, opened the door for them and ushered them inside. Ginny wasted no time and was already stripped down to her suit and jumping into the pool when Colin stepped into the room.
Xavia slowly pealed away her clothes, folding them neatly into a little pile on a plastic reclining white chair. The room looked completely like the outdoors. Grass softened the ground, the pool was a large rectangle in the center of the room. Around the edges of the water sat several reclining and non-reclining plastic chairs. In the far right corner was a beautiful circle table with a red and gold parasol. Food of all kinds covered the surface almost hiding the snow white table cloth.
Xavia self-consciously checked over her baby blue bikini, determining she was covered, she slipped into the cool water. Ginny surfaced in front of her with a wide smile, the dark green bikini showed off her large almost double d breasts and accentuated her curvy hips and smooth stomach.
“Green looks very flattering on you,” Xavia grinned, “it really brings out your hair and eyes.”
Ginny flushed at the hidden meaning under her words. Leave it to her friend to point out that her bathing suit was green. Suddenly the water between them rippled violently and splashed them. They sputtered as they wiped the water off their eyes. A grinning Colin stood between them. Ginny laughed and smacked the liquid, hitting him square in the face.
An hour later, Xavia laid exhausted in a white chair, soaking up the magically produced sun's rays. Ginny floated gently in the water, studying the beautiful clear sky. Colin sat at the table of food, munching on some of the sweets. Contented sighs passed their lips, it was such a pleasant day. No worries, no running, no sneaking, no homework, they could just enjoy themselves.
“You are so going to burn,” Ginny chuckled.
“Better late then never with the sun tanning spell,” Colin chimed in.
“I can't help it if I have fair skin,” Xavia frowned, “besides, this is only going to add to your freckles.”
Ginny rolled her eyes, “I'm already covered, what's a few more?”
“Hey, her freckles are actually pretty,” Colin added.
“Thank you, Colin!”
“Suck up,” Xavia laughed.
“Vi,” he glared at her.
“I think Ginny is gorgeous! But, doesn't mean I can't tease her,” she stuck her tongue out at him.
“Childish.”
“Cruel.”
“Alright guys,” Ginny pulled herself from the water, “I love you both equally. Now, let's move on.”
“You have to have a favourite,” she huffed.
“I do not.”
“Do too,” Colin called out.
“Do not!”
“Too!”
“Not!”
“Too!”
“Agh,” Ginny cried out in frustration, “I'm not picking a side, so there.”
They shared a laugh, gathering over near the table to devour a hearty lunch. After they filled their stomachs for the second time that day, they sprawled out on the grass with Colin in the middle. Each girl held one of his hands in a friendly manor. They were like a family. They had been there for each other since day one of their first year, and they adored each other completely.
While they loved being with Colin, it made them feel guilty.. Since they met, they had barely ever kept secrets from each other and they always seemed to just spill out into the open after a while. Now, they had a secret that they weren't so sure they could share with him. Ginny had only been seeing Draco for five days, while Xavia had been seeing Blaise for three months, but it was still a huge thing to keep from him.
Slowly, peacefully, they all fell asleep under the warm sun. Colin woke up blanketed by a freckled redhead and a ivory skinned blonde. Untangling his hands, he gently ran them through their hair, trying to rouse them. Ginny's hair was straight and thick, it slid threw his fingers like silk. Xavia's hair was wavy and slightly thin, it slid threw his fingers like water.
Chocolate brown and silvery blue eyes blinked open groggily. Both girls tilted their head up and smiled sleepily at him. They rolled over and stretched with a delighted moan of innocent pleasure.
“The clock says it's four in the afternoon,” Colin yawned, covering his mouth.
“No wonder I'm so tired,” Ginny sighed.
“Well there is only two and a half hours till I leave, what should we do till then,” Xavia glanced at the two.
“Well,” Colin began.
“No,” she shook her head violently, “no... no! No pictures, Colin, I'm serious!”
“Aw come on,” he pouted, his bottom lip quivering.
“It's just a couple pictures, it's memories,” Ginny gestured to the room.
“You both are going to sit here and argue with me until I allow the pictures... huh?”
“You know us all to well,” Colin jumped up and made a mad dash for his clothes.
After he found his camera they spent a good hour running around the room, posing, laughing, and joking as they stole the camera from each other and took picture after picture. Ginny collapsed into a chair and began stuffing her face with the dinner foods that had appeared.
“It feels too soon to be hungry,” she frowned, placing a bite of chicken into her mouth.
“Doesn't it though,” Colin solemnly sighed, “we shouldn't have taken that nap.”
“At least we napped together,” Xavia shrugged, “there is always tomorrow after all.”
“We should do our homework together and then hang out all day,” Ginny grinned, “Harry and Wyatt won't noticed, they have plans tomorrow that doesn't include us.”
“You know,” Xavia said thoughtfully, “we should make the weekends Colin time.”
“Are you serious,” Colin smiled, “I'm sure my friends won't mind me sneaking off on the weekends to hang out with you girls.”
“It's settled then. The weekends are Colin time,” Ginny exclaimed around a mouth full of food.
“Sometimes you act so much like Ron,” Xavia shook her head.
The next hour passed quickly and Xavia decided to go early to detention. The sooner she could get her task, the quicker she could finish it. Colin walked with them till they reached the Great Hall. He then excused himself and headed off to spend dinner with his other friends. Ginny continued down into the dungeon with Xavia.
Neither of them were surprised to find Draco and Blaise casually leaning against the wall opposite of Snape's classroom door.
“Why do you have detention,” Blaise demanded.
Xavia ran her fingers through her hair, “oh you know, I forgot my bag last night, and when I came down and got it, Ginny came with me. On the way back to the common room, Snape was patrolling the halls. I had the time to hide Ginny, but... well... it was my third offense of being caught outside my common room past curfew.”
“She really didn't have to hide me,” Ginny smiled softly, “but, you know her. She does what she wants.”
“I saved you detention, you should be thankful,” Xavia stuck her tongue out at her.
“I am thankful,” she protested.
“So thankful that you convinced me to let you and Colin chase me around with a camera all afternoon.”
“Hey, we had fun.”
“Oh?”
“Don't give me that,” Ginny hissed, “I know you did.”
“Believe what you will my dear friend,” Xavia waved it off, “if you will excuse me, I have detention to attend to.”
“Remember what you said,” she called out after her, “tomorrow!”
“Yeah yeah,” she gave her a teasing smile, “it's not me that must remember to wake up early.”
Ginny sputtered, “oh you!”
“See ya around, love,” Xavia laughed cheerfully as she entered the classroom.
“She seems different” Draco said thoughtfully, staring at the closed doors, “more teasing... joyful maybe?”
Ginny crossed her arms over her chest with a defeated look, “she has been having a rough time, you know? I didn't know until recently all the things that were going on between her and Wyatt. It would seem, he is adamant about her spending her free hour with him from now on. He apologized for spilling her secret, but he wanted me to know, just in case things go wrong so she has somewhere familiar to stay.
To top all her boyfriend and family problems off, she has to deal with the guilt she feels about the secret she is keep from not only Wyatt but Colin as well.”
“What does Creevey have to do with it,” Blaise asked curiously.
“Did you boys not pay attention the last six years,” she glanced between them noting the dumbfounded look on their faces, obviously not, “Colin, Xavia and I have practically been joined at the hip since first year. We are like our own little family. Colin and I are Xavia's brother and sister. We look after each other, we are there when we need each other. We tell each other everything and always try to solve each other's problems.
Until now. I feel more guilty about keeping this a secret from Colin then from Harry to be honest. I'm sure she feel the same. We have never, ever, kept a secret from him. The last three months, she hasn't really seen him much either. I think she was afraid she would blab on herself and lose him.
Today did her a lot of good. She got to spend time with him outside of meals. It lifted her spirits. Truly, she is a joker by nature. Always got along better with Fred and George then anyone else in our family. She adores the twins to bits,” she grinned fondly, “it's good to have the old her back.”
“Wait so,” Blaise frowned, “what is she usually like?”
“During school she is quiet, mellow, timid almost. She keeps everything to herself, besides for Colin, he keeps all our secrets. We trust him completely. But, around her friends, she is like that. Playful, loving, kind, sweet, and yet at the same time sarcastic and dramatic.”
“She has good reflexes,” Draco suddenly commented, remembering their spat earlier that day.
“There is a reason for that,” Ginny smirked, “dealing with six boys teaches you to be tough. Especially those that like to cause mischief.”
“You three were fantastic this morning,” Blaise complimented, “Pansy and Millicent sulked for hours.”
Ginny laughed, “mum always said, getting someone through the ego is a lot more effective then any other method.”
“We should find a classroom,” Draco peered around the hall, “we don't want any misunderstanding.”
Ginny quickly agreed and ended up spending the next hour and a half with Draco and Blaise. They asked all kinds of questions, which she answered and in turn asked them many things. Getting to know them truly opened her eyes to see the boys that were underneath their hard exterior. In turn, it showed the boys just how different the girls actually were then what they believed.
Blaise immediately warmed up to the idea of being Ginny's friend. She didn't protest either, and began calling him by his first name. Draco wasn't to sure about getting so familiar with her, but he didn't stop in his pursuit of knowledge. Even if all he would ever get from her was a snogging partner, or maybe even a sexual one, he still felt compelled to know her.
“Don't you ever wish for things, things your parents can't buy you,” Draco prodded.
Ginny felt no anger at his comment, his pure curiosity showed no hint of insult, “there are times where I want things that I can't have. Such is the way of life,” she shrugged, “I have all I could ever need and hope for. I have a family and friends that love and support me. I can do without all the nice clothes and jewellery and all that. I have what I want most.”
Blaise chuckled, “such a sappy thing to say.”
“It's an honest answer,” she glared at him, “besides, do you boys even know what love is? Have you even had it enough to understand where I come from? Because, love isn't money. Love is worth way more then gold.”
Both boys stiffened, sharing a look between each other. They couldn't tell Ginny that Blaise was in love with Xavia. She would tell the other girl, she did say they never keep secrets from each other. This one would be to big for her not to tell.
“I have been in love,” Blaise nodded, “my mother loves me, she just... chooses the wrong guys.”
“My mother loves me,” Draco stated, “but, I have yet to ever be in love.”
“You should try it,” Ginny grinned, “it really is a wonderful emotion.”
“Love,” Xavia cut in, now suddenly standing in the doorway, “an emotion that reeks havoc and at the same time causes one's heart to flutter. To know love is to know true joy, to know joy is to know bliss and to know bliss brings one as close to heaven as they can get. Such an amazing emotion, and at the same time the scariest of them all. To place yourself so thoroughly in someone else's hands, to give them control over your heart. Love is the best and worst emotion someone could ever feel. Because the wrong choice will just end you with a broken heart.”
“Detention is done I take it,” Ginny laughed.
“All done,” she pulled herself onto the desk beside her friend, “what brought on the topic of love? It doesn't seem like something you three would be talking about.”
“Asking me about wanting things that only money can buy,” Ginny shrugged.
“Money can not buy happiness, there for it is obsolete in my book,” Xavia shrugged, “I wish for nothing but love and happiness. It's all I could ever want.”
“Don't forget family.”
“I already have a family,” she wrapped her around around her friend and hugged her to her side, “you and Colin are more than I could ever ask for.”
“What about you boys? Don't you ever get tired of always getting what you want,” Ginny asked seriously.
“Do you truly believe we get everything we want,” Draco questioned hauntingly.
“Well, maybe not completely everything,” she amended, “but you do get quite a bit.”
“Maybe,” Blaise said suddenly, “we are just like you.”
The girls shared a look, “like us how?”
“Wouldn't you want to know what true love was like when you were denied it your whole life,” Draco shrugged, “happiness would be good too.”
“Trying to please parents that always seemed to find fault in everything we did,” Blaise scowled, “it was much harder than it seemed.”
“Holidays were lonely. Our parents gave us gifts, but we usually spent them together, just the two of us.”
“At least that is better than nothing,” Xavia said softly.
“That is why we are so close,” Blaise smiled, “we only had each other, and it was enough for a while.”
“Now that we are older,” Draco shrugged, “there is much more then simple parental love that we crave.”
“To be honest,” Ginny flushed in embarrassment, “I never thought I would ever hear that from you guys. But, then again, I think everyone wants someone to love. But, you two just always seemed so content with being playboys. Having sex with whatever girl caught your fancy and never staying tied down. I guess, I never pictured you guys as an actual dating or marriage type.”
Their eyes widened and they had to fight to keep their jaws from dropping open when Xavia stated, “I agree with Ginny. With your reputation and they way you acted, it just seemed you guys were happy with the way things were and wouldn't even look for more.”
“You two just keep surprising us,” Ginny smiled fondly.
“It was a way to keep out the loneliness,” Draco explained, “but it's hard when they can't even keep our attention for very long.”
“It's hard to be with someone that can't even keep up an intelligent conversation,” Blaise frowned, “or their personality clash to much with your own.”
“That's what relationships are for,” Ginny pointed out, “you take the time to date them to see if you can work out before having sex. It works better that way, I think. What do you think, Xavia, your more... experienced.”
The blonde blinked a couple times before giggling, “maybe. Just a little. Not much really to be honest. I've only ever dated Wyatt. But, it built a stronger bond between us to have been together for a while before actually getting intimate. However, I'm sure a relationship can be built even if sex comes first. With sex that means there is at least a physical attraction, a good starting point. If they aren't physically attracted, it makes the relationship a bit... overly dependant on emotions.”
“Good point,” she hummed her agreement.
“Let's,” Blaise paused, “talk about something else.”
“Alright, I'm up for anything,” Xavia glanced at the clock, “as long as we don't stray out past eight thirty.”
“It takes forever to get up to the dorms,” Ginny frowned.
“Maybe we should try going somewhere else for a while,” Draco suggested, “three months of the same classroom has got to be boring.”
“The room of requirement is good,” Xavia pointed out, “but it's pretty far from here.”
“We can at least give it a try,” Blaise consented.
“Today was great,” Ginny sighed in contentment as she laid back on the desk, “I can still feel the warm sun on my skin.”
“And the cool water,” Xavia added with a soft moan of delight, “all those different foods.”
“The sweets too,” Ginny groaned.
Draco raised an eyebrow, “what are you two going on about?”
“Colin took us to the room of requirement and we went swimming,” Xavia told him happily before her faced turned sour, “it was all amazing until Colin got out the camera.”
“You're only mad because he got picture of you in your bikini,” Ginny rolled her eyes.
“At least I wasn't in enemy colours,” Xavia teased.
“Vi,” she lightly smacked her arm in exasperation.
“I was kidding! Green looks good on you! I swear!”
“Whatever you say.”
“Yep, because what I saw goes,” Xavia stuck out her tongue then laughed.
“You are impossible when you are in a good mood,” Ginny protested.
“Hm, maybe I will be in a good mood more often, just to fluster you.”
“I think the boys do that enough.”
Xavia eyed them with a grin, “you just have to know how to take their words as a compliment instead of a tease.”
“But they are teasing!”
“And so was I, but it was still a compliment.”
“You're impossible!”
“She has you there, Weasley,” Draco smirked, “you do look good in green.”
The blush that sprouted on her face, sunk down under her neck line. She purposefully avoided everyone's eyes, she didn't want them to truly know just how much his compliment meant to her. It made her feel good about herself, in a odd way, but nevertheless it still did.
“Maybe we should call it a night,” Xavia glanced nervously at the clock that started ticking dangerously close to eight thirty, “I don't want any more detentions.”
“Sounds good to me,” Ginny sat up and slid off the desk.
“When should we meet,” Blaise asked the girls as they began heading for the door.
“Well, tomorrow we plan on studying and spending the day with Colin in the room of requirement. So, how about Monday night? Say, let's skip dinner in the Great Hall and have it in the room instead,” Ginny suggested.
“That would give us more time,” Xavia nodded her head in agreement, “after all, if we waited till after dinner we would only maybe have an hour. If we went right as dinner was starting we could get in a good two to two and a half.”
“We will meet you there,” Draco brushed his lips softly against Ginny's before taking his exit.
While AFF and its agents attempt to remove all illegal works from the site as quickly and thoroughly as possible, there is always the possibility that some submissions may be overlooked or dismissed in error. The AFF system includes a rigorous and complex abuse control system in order to prevent improper use of the AFF service, and we hope that its deployment indicates a good-faith effort to eliminate any illegal material on the site in a fair and unbiased manner. This abuse control system is run in accordance with the strict guidelines specified above.
