Harry was trying to wrap his head around the entire conversation. He found it really hard to believe what the man was saying to him. Who would believe that the person that was trying to kill them suddenly had a change of heart?
'You killed my parents' Harry whispered eyes never moving from the fire.
'I am not denying my past crimes- '
Harry jumped up out of his chair suddenly, turning to face Voldemort 'You have murdered thousands of innocent and you expect me to believe that you are my fucking Soul Mate!'
The younger man turned then to walk out the room, 'It will be a cold day in hell before I ever believe or accept that'
Voldemort knew that this was not going to be easy, and a part of him was pleased that Harry did not believe him so easily, after all, it would not do to have such an easy trusting mate by his side.
However.
That did not mean that he was against using underhanded tactics to keep Harry.
'Your friends' Voldemort said, not even bothering to move from his chair.
Harry stopped mid-step to turn to the other man, fist clenched by his side, his heart racing.
When the other man was sure that he had the other attention, he continued, 'Your friends are still in my care Harry, and I believe that it is in their best interest for you to return to your chair'
Harry was seeing red, his magic lashed out at random objects in the room, but the man that was the source of his anger remained where he was, sitting calmly.
'Sit, Harry,'
Taking a deep breath Harry tried to clear his mind, and once again gain control of his magic, walking forward his eyes avoiding the other man.
So many things whirled inside Harrys head, his friends, his family, Dumbledore, and the man before him. Taking sometimes to focus, He decided right now he needed to find his wand, and then he'll work from there. To accomplish what he needed to, Harry realized that he would need to rely on more of his Slytherin abilities.
'What do you want from me?'
Voldemort leaned back into his chair, taking a moment to study the man in front of him before answering, 'The answer to that question is very simple Harry. The real question is how long it is going to take for me to get it. Nevertheless, we will talk about that later. For now we will begin with Courting'
Harry let out a dark laugh at that 'Courting? You? The man who just threatened his so called "Soul Mate"'
Voldemort chose to ignore his comment 'We will begin with Courting, then with your Acceptance, eventually Bonding'
Even Harry knew what Bonding entailed, but he figured that he would worry about that at a later date, 'And my friends?'
Voldemort chose his next words carefully 'Your friends remain unharmed.'
Harry looked at the man across from him 'And if this does not work out, what happens?'
The Dark Lord took a moment before answering, 'My Harry, there is no other option but for this to work' With that he stood from his chair, walking toward the doors, 'You are free to roam until I call upon you again, until then Nagini will stay with you'
As Voldemort walked out the doors, Nagini slithered out of the shadows making its way toward Harry, but the young man did not even notice.
Few tears slid down his face as he took in everything that was said to him. Once again his choices were taken from him. Once again others were put in danger because of him.
And once again fate decided to screw him over.
