“Yes,” I replied as I sealed it with a kiss

The floo of the fireplace flared to life and Severus moved to stand in front of me. His body prevented me from seeing who had come through but I instantly recognized the voice who said “Severus”

“Albus, how may I help you?”

“Where is the boy?”

“He is here,” Severus replied but did not move from his protective stance in front of me.

“Harry are you alright?” Albus asked as he moved to see me, but before he could Severus moved to block his sight.

“I’m fine Headmaster,” I replied as I tried to stand, which only cause Severus to growl. “Sev, he won’t hurt me.” Trying to calm him as I wrapped my arms around his waist.

Severus looked over his shoulder at me before nodding his head. He grasped my hand to move me to stand just in front of him. He still kept me close and his hands were firmly on my shoulders. Somehow I knew that I was not leaving from this spot as long as the headmaster was here.

“Dumbledore, as you can see I am fine. Severus saved me last night and brought me here to tend to my injuries.”

“Injuries? I did not feel anyone but Severus disrupt the wards. Who hurt you?”

“Seriously Albus! I have told you several times, that his family beats him and then starves him!”

“Ah yes, but I was to understand that the beatings have become nonexistent since we informed the family of us watching more closely over Harry.”

“Well you were misinformed. The beatings were getting worse and that fat oaf almost raped Harry if I have not intervened!” Severus spat at the man as his hands seem to squeeze my shoulder causing me to whimper. He quickly relaxed his hands and began to rub my arms as a way of apologizing. He leaned down then to whisper in my ear “Sorry love, I just get so angry when I think of what did and could have happened”

I smiled at him as he kissed my cheek “I understand”

The Headmaster cleared his throat causing us to bring our attention back to him. “I see Severus that you have told him.”

“Yes I have. We were in the middle of discussing it when you arrived”

“I see… well I guess a few changes are in order then. I’m assuming you are no longer going to spy?” The headmaster asked as his eyes began to twinkle

“You are correct Albus. I can’t anymore. My cover will be blown as soon as they say anything about Harry. Without him knowing before I could control my instincts, but now I will throttle anyone who disrespects him.”

“I know. Just try to control yourself when you come back to school. I’m sure that there will be a few that will openly disrespect him once your relationship is known.”

“I understand”

“Harry I was not aware that the beatings had continued and I am also sorry for what almost did happen. Are you sure that you are alright?”

“Yes Headmaster I am fine. Sev has taken good care of me.”

“Yes, I’m sure ‘Sev’ has,” was his reply which was quickly followed by a growl from Severus, who seemed to dislike the use of my nickname for him coming from anyone but me

The Headmaster eyes just twinkled “Well I shall leave you two alone to finish your discussion. I will make arrangements at Hogwarts for you to share a room.”

“Thank you Albus”

“You both deserve this. You both have hard lives and I could not be happier for you both”

“Thank you Headmaster. You blessing means a lot!” I told him honestly

Dumbledore simply nodded his head before turning to go back through the floo calling out “Hogwarts, Headmaster’s office” before he was engulfed in green flames.

Severus wrapped his arms around my shoulder and placed a kiss on my head. “Thank you Harry for staying close.”

“I don’t know why but I just knew that I needed to.”

“Good. Until we officially bond, I will be more protective of you. Especially when there are others in the room. If we had been closer since you were young my instincts would not be so strong. But with us being apart, my Vampire instincts are afraid that you will leave. The bond will make everything easier to deal with.”

“How exactly do we complete the bond?”

“First we have consummate the bond and then I have to mark you. This will also be the first time I will taste your blood.”

“I see… consummate… you mean sex?”

“Yes”

“I have not been with anyone,” I whispered

“Did you just say what I think you said?”

“I have not been with anyone sexually” I repeated as I felt his erection grow and press in between butt cheeks. I could not help but moan at the feeling.

He quickly turned me around to look into my eyes “You have been with no one?”

“No… I kissed a girl once and that ended with her crying.”

He laughed “I don’t see why she was crying your kisses are amazing.”

“Hey it is not funny. She was crying over Cedric,” I replied as playfully hit his arm

“Alright, I’m sorry” He said with a smile. And oh what a smile, it made my heart melt. Especially since I knew that I was the one who caused it.

He leaned down to kiss me and I swooned as our bodies seems to melt together. The kiss did not last long, but it took my breath away.
