Pairing: Jasper/Harry

Sitting in the classroom, staring at the blackboard that was slowly being filled with important dates and events, Harry silently groaned.

“Now the Battle of Little Bighorn was an armed conflict between the combined forces of three tribes against the 7^th Cavalry Regiment of the United States Army. Those tribes were the Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho. The battle occurred in 1876 on June 25^th and the 26^th.”

Groaning at the added information, Harry dropped his head onto his desk and rubbed at his temples...he had no idea why he was going through the pains of school so soon after graduating from Hogwarts. Especially a Muggle school where he was getting slammed with information of things he had no idea about since he stopped learning Muggle facts and information once he started in the Wizarding world...oh that's right. It was because he had been forced to to try and gain the help of the vampires that drank only animal blood against Voldemort.

Lifting his head up, Harry quickly jotted down the information before the teacher could call him out on 'slacking off'. Thankfully the bell rang a few minutes later, relieving him from the torture of American history. All of the other students except for one and the teacher were out of the room almost before the bell finished ringing.

Slowly filling his bag with his notebook, folder, and pen after jotting down the homework, Harry stood up and grinned when he felt familiar cold fingers start rubbing the back of his neck.

“Still don't like American history my love?” Jasper asked, pressing a kiss to Harry's cheek.

“No. I think I'm hopeless when it comes to this subject.” Harry said with a shrug of his shoulders.

“Nah you just need a better teacher. We've got a four day weekend starting now...how about I come and spend it with you and try to help you with it?” Jasper asked, walking out of the room and down the hall with his arm around Harry's waist.

“Sounds great, but weren't you going out with your family this weekend?” Harry asked, not wanting to make his boyfriend and mate skip a feeding.

“Yes, but I can skip it this time.”

Giving him a swat on the arm, Harry said, “You go out with them and I'll let you stay the weekend.”

Walking, Jasper frowned a little, before he nodded and said, “I suppose I'll be going with them then.”

Opening his mouth to answer, Harry was stopped by Alice, another of the Cullen's, approaching them.

“Jasper hurry we're leaving as soon as Carlisle gets home. We'll be back sometime later.”

Chuckling, Harry said, “See? You'll be back by tonight. Now thank your seer of a sister, go with your family, and I'll see you later.”

Rolling her eyes, Alice grabbed onto Jasper's arm and started pulling him down the hall.

“Did you doubt my ability to help my brother get some time with his one and only?” She asked with an offended look on her face before they disappeared around a corner.

Smiling, Harry followed slowly after them. While he may hate being in a Muggle school again, he was glad that he was sent here since he found the love of his life and a new family too.
