Remus stood before the mirror that hung on the back of his closet door in the bedroom that had been his for the last four and a half years. He looked the way he had since the potion mess up, in past few years he had maybe aged only one year. It was a strange happening however the magical school he was employed at didn’t seem to really care, America didn’t care if he was a werewolf or plain wizard they wanted him as a teacher. He was now divorced but it hadn’t originally happened that way, Tonks had come with him to try to make a new life in the States but she missed her mother and friends. Their divorce was quiet and they remained friends still just not particularly close friends, he hadn’t heard from or seen Hermione in all five years either. He missed her and wondered what she was doing with herself and how Lidia was, he missed that little girl more than he thought he would and he missed Levi. However, he had made a deal with Loki and there was no way that he would go back on that so he dutifully stayed away.
“Mr. Lupin” There was a knock on his door, he opened it and found himself looking at the Third year that he had been tutoring recently.
“What is it, Mr. Higgins?” He asked.
“I did it” He said completely out of breath “I did it”
“You did what?” He asked.
“I fought my boggart” He said “I fought it and then I ran all the way here to let you know that I’m not an invalid!”
“I never thought that you were an invalid” Remus said politely “I just knew that it takes some longer than others to learn certain things”
“But everyone learns things quicker than me” He said “I’m just stupid”
“You are not stupid” Remus led him to his office and offered him a butterbeer, which was a treat that the American children adored “Ky, do you mind if I call you Ky?”
“Of course not” Ky answered “We all think it’s a little strange you call us by our last names anyway”
“It’s how I was raised” Remus told him “My professors called me by my surname and it’s how I have always addressed my students” He smiled slightly “Back to what I was saying, Ky. I have been told that you are very good at Potions, is that correct?”
“Yes” Ky blushed “But I’m shit at everything else” He blushed again “Sorry, sir”
“You are one up on me” Remus told him “I’m shit at Potions, always have been, in fact I was shit at every class other than Defense. The only reason I was as good as it as I was is because I was and am still interested in it, if you love Potions there is nothing to be afraid or ashamed of you just keep going with it”
“I want to be a Potions Master” Ky informed his favorite professor.
“And you will be” Remus promised “Just study hard and don’t let you get in the way of what you want to be”
“Did you always want to be a teacher, sir?” He asked.
“No” Remus answered “I want to be a Defense Master. I plan to go to college in four or five years when I have enough money”
“Maybe we’ll be at college together” Ky said with a smile.
“Maybe” Remus said “However, you need to head back to your dorm or you won’t make the curfew”
“Thank you sir” Ky said surprising Remus.
“For what?” The teacher asked.
“For reminding me that I don’t need to be perfect” Ky answered “Thank you”
“You’re welcome” Remus said watching him leave before turning and heading back to his private rooms.

“Bloody hell!” Lidia hissed to herself in the mirror in the girls lavatory “What do boys get when they come of age?” She downed the potion her mother sent to her to help her with the cramps that were rumbling through her stomach “They get stupider and we women have to suffer!”
“Talking to yourself, Granger?” Serena Potter walked in to the bathroom with a sneer.
“Sod off, Potter” Lidia hissed.
“Got your monthly?” Serena asked with a little sympathy before it was replaced with cockiness “I’ve had mine for over a year now”
“Congratulations” Lidia scowled at her before walking out the door.
Once upon a time Lidia and Serena had been best friends, inseparable even but then they went off to different primary schools and things changed. Serena started to hang out with girls that made fun Lidia because she was pale and went to a private school and Serena did nothing to stop it. They drifted apart and Lidia’s acceptance in Slytherin and Serena’s in Gryffindor just made their separation even more pronounced. Severus had also been inducted in to Slytherin house and thankfully remained one of Lidia’s close friends, making him one of two friends that she actually truly liked and trusted. Severus was a tall and gangly child, a complete bookworm that was good at any subject he tried just like Serena was good at any game she attempted which included Quidditch and all muggle sports. Severus was like any other Slytherin which meant that he was sneaky and cunning, he was always planning something and always knew what was happening with seemingly everyone in the school. Unlike Severus Snape, Severus Potter wasn’t harassed daily for his differences in fact most people embraced that about him, he was smart and humorous when he wanted to be but normally just kept to his few friends and no one else. He was a lot like Lidia in that sense. Kale Weasley was her best friend and the only male in the whole school that Lidia would even consider dating. However, she didn’t date because she was too focused on her studies, she was too young right now and because her father would likely completely lose his mind if she did.
“Granger” A smooth voice said from behind her “I missed you in History of Magic”
“I’m sure you did, Malfoy” Lidia answered “I was preoccupied with something else, did I miss anything good?”
“Not really” He walked along side of her towards the dining hall “I was there, so that was the best part...”
“Or the worse” She muttered.
“Other than that we have begun a new segment in our boring class lives” He went on “We are now learning about Famous and Infamous Leaders of the Wizarding World”
“Now that actually sounds fascinating” Lidia said “I won’t miss another class now, I can assure you of that”
“Whatever, want to eat dinner with me?” Scorpius asked.
“No” She answered “Have I ever said yes when you’ve asked?”
“No but it doesn’t hurt” He said “My father is going to talk to your father about a marriage contract soon, we might as well learn to love each other”
“My father will say no” Lidia told him confidently.
“And when he says yes?” Scorpius said “What will you say then?”
“He will never say yes” Lidia promised him “Even if he wants to my mother won’t allow it”
“If he really is the man in your house then it won’t matter” Scorpius told her “Only pussies allow their wives to make the decisions”
“Which is why” Severus said walking over and throwing an arm over Scorpius’s shoulders “Your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother are all well and healthy...oh wait” He pretended to just be remembering something “Your Great-grandmother hung herself, your grandmother poisoned herself and your mother is in the nuthouse...I can see treating them like cattle is working wonders for your family!”
“Exactly Malfoy” Lidia said “My parents have been married for almost six years, together for even longer and they are doing great!”
“So they weren’t married when they had you?” Scorpius asked, still red-faced about the comment about the women in his family “That not only makes your mother a Mudblood but a whore as well”
Lidia and Severus had been just about to walk in to the great hall when he made that comment and Lidia stopped dead in her tracks. She heard Severus mutter ‘oh shit’ before she slowly turned and looked at the cocky little blonde that stood sneering before her. Everyone knew that even though Lidia loved her father to pieces it was her mother that she loved most. A comment about her father would earn you a punch in the face...a comment about her mother and that earned you just a bit more. Her blue-green eyes blazed angrily in her face but the only movement she made was to raise on of her hands and point it at Scorpius before turning and walking away. There was a scream of horror and then uncontrollable sobbing that filled the great hall that of course caused everyone to come see what had happened. Lidia smirked as she and Severus took their seats at the now empty Slytherin table, she smiled across the hall at Kale who was shaking his head but smiling all the same. He didn’t need to go see what she had done because he knew that it would be fairly permanent and he would see it soon enough. That was one thing one learned about Lucky Lidia Red Granger, she never did anything half-assed if she helped you she made sure all wrinkles were ironed out and everything was perfect. If she charmed you then you could be certain it was better than anyone else could do but if she cursed or went against you, well she did that all the way too, better and more thoroughly than anyone else. All the students, even the older ones, learned to deal with her gently because her magic was more powerful than their own, her help always resulted in her getting more than anyone realized and her wrath was worse than her playful manner...and she was only a second year.

Loki watched his son and brother fight with pretend swords while Sif and Frigga played with some dolls. He finally got the son he wanted and the damn kid was more like Thor than him. He did some research and learned that even though Levi was biologically his son that because of the bond Hermione shared with Thor he actually took on some of the other God’s personality traits. At least Lidia was just like him, that thought helped make his days even better especially after Hermione had their third and final child. Another girl that she named Gabriella and who was just a little her, brown curls, his eyes but Hermione’s bookworm nature...he could tell, even at one years old.
“You will never believe what Lidia did last night at school” Hermione said walking out the house after her important Floo call from Hogwarts.
“I bet I could” Loki muttered, lifting a giggling and screaming Gabby up by one foot upside down.
“She burned off all of Scorpius Malfoy’s hair!” Hermione said, she was standing behind him and yet still caught him smirking “Don’t you smirk about that Loki. His father is very angry”
“His father is a peacock” Loki said “Just like Lucius Malfoy is and just like Abraxas Malfoy was. Why did she do it, you know she doesn’t act like that without a reason”
“Apparently he was telling her that Draco was going to come to you with a marriage contract” She answered and Loki nodded “Something about tying two of the strongest families together and when she told him that I would never make her marry him he called me a ‘Mudblood whore’ and she went off”
“And rightly so” Loki stood up angrily “Little shit, I’m going to the school to burn off a few inches of his fucking legs!”
“It’s all settled” Hermione said “I told Draco that we weren’t going to set up an arranged marriage and I told him that he should be lucky it was only hair that got burned off because my daughters anger was worse than my own and next time she may not be so kind”
“What’s her punishment?” He asked knowing there would be one.
“Lines and five nights of detention” Hermione answered “No one wants to punish the daughter of the ‘bookworm’ that helped save the wizarding world”
“Good thing too” Loki said, rocking the now sleeping one year old back and forth “It’s only November and she’s been in trouble at least twice each month, I’ll talk with her when she comes home next month, okay?”
“Thank you” She whispered “You are an amazing husband”
“I know” He answered kissing her “I know”
A/N: I know this jumped and I will go over thing you want me to. Answer any questions you may have, this story is going to be mainly everyone growing older, personalities and all that fun stuff.
