Harry hummed as he took a bit of his tuna sandwich.
"Wow, this is good." He said, once he'd chewed, swallowed and wiped his mouth. "Amazing."
"You like it then?" Severus drawled, a smile playing on his face. "I knew you would."
"It's very good." Harry blushed. "I've only had tunafish a few times in my life and it was my aunts. She only makes once a year and it's never good."
Severus cocked an eyebrow. Tunafish had been Lily's favorite.
"I'm sorry to ask but what day does she normally make it?" Severus asked.
"Oh, it's when I was younger I don't know if she still does it." Harry answered. "It was always on Jan. 30. I have no idea why she would do it that day though."
"Harry." Severus sighed, setting his own tunafish sandwich down. He watched Harry blush. "Harry, Jan. 30 was Lily's birthday. You didn't know that?"
Harry looked up at the man eyes suddenly holding a lot of pain. He shook his head.
"No one told me." he said, in a small voice. "She makes it for my mother? Is that why she, and I are the only ones to eat it? She makes steak for my uncle that night."
"I would assume so." Severus nodded. "You don't know much about your parents do you?"
"No." Harry shook his head.
Severus was annoyed to come home and find Lupin reading on his couch and Black reading on the floor in front of the couch.
"Harry's back!" Sirius cheered and was soon hugging Harry. "Look at these clothes. Looking good, Harry."
Harry blushed.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Sirius asked sitting Harry on the couch. "What did Snivvy do?"
"Nothing." Harry said, shaking his head. "We had tunafish and I learned that is was mom's favorite and that her birthday is Jan. 30."
"You didn't know that?" Sirius asked. "Okay, lets see Lily's favorite class was Charms. She was great at it best in the whole school." Harry smiled at him. "She was very gentle and kind but man did she have one hell of a firey temper when you finally got her mad."
Remus chuckled.
"Her favorite color was green." He informed. "Like her eyes and she was always upset when she couldn't find any green that matched them."
Harry laughed a bit.
Severus went to make tea he didn't want to hear Black and Lupin talk about Lily even if they were only saying good things. Then again he couldn't think about a bad thing to say about Lily. How he missed his old friend.
When he returned Harry was in tears but he was laughing. Lupin was talking.
"And then she forced Sirius in to Padfoot and used a spell to lock him like that for a week. She even made him live in a dog house outback. "
Remus and Harry were really laughing now.
Sirius blushed.
"How was I supposed to know Harry had James' eyesight?" Sirius snarked back. "That Training Broom was a great idea and Harry loved it!"
Severus served tea, himself coffee, and Harry, whom he noted didn't like tea, he gave a glass of milk. He listened to stories and smiled softly to himself as it conjured images of Lily in his mind. His eyes slid to his husband he hadn't seen Harry smile since first year when he went after that blasted stone.
Harry sniffled and rubbed his eyes.
"Are you okay?" Sirius asked again.
"Just happy." Harry nodded. "I never knew much about my mum. Everyone just talks about my dad and how much I'm like him. I'm sorry.....but........"
"It's okay, Harry." Remus said, putting his hand on his shoulder.
"You'll be mad." Harry sighed. He didn't look at them. "I don't think I like my dad that much. Everyone is always saying that I'm so much like him. I'm good at flying because of him. I'm good at Defense because of him. I look just like him. I act just like him."
"But you don't." Severus said, "You don't pull pranks."
"No but everytime I do something like going after the stone Dumbledore always says "you're so much like James. He would have done the same thing you know. Yes, you're just like him." he's always says stuff like that and I hate it."
Sirius hated to hear this but pulled Harry into his arms and held him. He hated Dumbledore right now.
"and no one ever speaks of mum. It's always just dad." Harry continued.
"We're sorry , we didn't know, puppy." Sirius replied, wishing he'd never compared Harry to James. "it's okay, we still love you."
"We'll always love you, Harry." Remus agreed.
Harry felt tears in his eyes again and hated that he was being such a baby. He rubbed his eyes and glanced at Snape no Severus. He glanced at Severus they were married now and Severus had called him by his first name. Severus looked thoughtful but other than that didn't seem to have much to say. He decided to relax in Sirius' arms.
Harry and Severus were finally left alone with the threat that Sirius and Remus would return everyday and that Severus had to put up with them because he'd married into the family. Severus was not pleased but let it go he would get used to it.
They were now lounging in the living room both of them reading. When Severus finally deemed it was time for bed they both went upstairs. Harry used the bathroom first and then Severus. Harry was curled up in bed when Severus returned to the room. He slid into bed with the teen and pulled him into his arms. He caught Harry smile and blush. He wondered if Potter was expecting anything tonight. He decided to kiss him he was shocked when Harry responded though shyly and hesitantly. It became clear fast that Harry was quickly aroused by just kissing.
"You need to recover before we do anything else." Severus whispered in Harry's ear making the teen shiver. "Good night, Harry."
"Mean." Harry whimpered. "Night, Severus."
He laid his head on the man's chest and closed his eyes. He was soon asleep.
