Hermione awoke with a gasp and quickly sat up on the bed she was laying on. She put her hand to her chest and she held back tears from the pain. She fought through it and slowly took in her surrounding, she wasn’t in her room.

The room was covered with green and silver, including the bed that she now sat on. She slid across the green silk sheets and sat on the edge of the bed.

She didn’t like the thought of getting up and before she finally mustered enough strength to do it, he walked in.

Draco set a tray of food and drinks on a table and went to her side where he slowly sat down next to her.

“How are you feeling?”

“Better. Thanks.”

She went to stand up but he grabbed her arm and kept her in place. He didn’t meet her eyes when she looked at him questioningly. Draco pulled his arm away but didn’t move in any other way.

“I… I was worried about you.”

He whispered softly.

Hermione’s brow furrowed at the caring response but before she could get out a word, he continued.

“You wouldn’t wake, no matter what I did. I even tried the spell from the other night but it didn’t really work… I.”

He paused and glanced around.

“I thought I’d lost you already.”

He swiftly stood and walked away from the bed. He picked up a glass of water and brought it to her.

She took the glass and gulped down the water. She immediately felt better, the pain faded a little but she felt refreshed and thought that she should do something. She stood from the bed and faced him.

“Thank you.”

A small smile crept across her face and she moved around him to reach for the door handle. She thought about where she was and let her arm drop.

“Is it safe for me to go out?”

Draco smirked then turned around to face her.

“Yes.”

She thought about it a moment then walked away from the door, she slowly moved closer to him then she stopped and glanced around the room.

“I like your room.”

She simply said then turned away from him and sat back down on the incredibly large and comfortable bed. Draco hesitantly followed her example and sat down next to her. They sat in silence for a while until she finally spoke her thoughts.

“I was wondering… if you don’t mind.”

She was cut off by him replying early.

“I’ll do it.”

She chuckled to herself with a small smile playing on her lips. She found it amusing to see him eager to do a favor for her.

“Could you cast the spell on me? The one to take away my pain and symptoms… I know it doesn’t last long but I would really appreciate it.”

She ended in a low whisper. She knew that she was asking for more than just the escape from pain, she wanted to feel the intimate connection that they shared once before.

His brow furrowed for a second then vanished as quickly as it had come. He didn’t answer verbally but he reached over to place his hand onto her chest. It wasn’t a sexual move and it wasn’t meant to be but when his hand touched her skin, she could feel her body heating from the inside.

He reached his other hand into his pocket and brought out his wand. He held it between them and started to mumble words that immediately sparked a reaction inside of her.

Her pain faded fast and things seemed to clear, as if the world was finally coming into focus for the first time in ages even though the spell just wore off recently. The clear refreshing feeling started to be replaced by an exciting tingling feeling coursing through her body.

It spread faster then last time and the sensation was somehow stronger. She looked into his eyes and saw that the same thing was happening to him. She felt even more turned on by simply seeing the effect and she closed her eyes tightly in pleasure.

She leaned her head back and put her hand on top of his. She held his hand firmly to her chest and felt a different kind of tingle ring inside of her abdomen.

Just as she was about to pull his hand down her chest to touch her breasts, she felt the spell break and she let out a disappointed groan. She straightened up and opened her eyes but didn’t let go of his hand.

His eyes were closed but she saw that this time he had tossed his wand onto the bed behind her. He apparently couldn’t break the spell willingly or maybe he just wanted his hands free.

When he finally opened his eyes he pulled slightly at his arm but she wouldn’t let him go. Confused, he looked into her eyes and took a step closer. He stared imploringly into her dark eyes trying to find some hint as to what she wanted and what caused it.

He didn’t understand but knew that this time it wasn’t caused by the spell and that made him feel happy and even more aroused.

He reached up with his empty hand and grabbed hers from holding his other hand to her chest. She reluctantly let go but was surprised when he didn’t. He held on tightly to her hand while his free arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her against his body.

She yelped excitedly when their bodies collided but it was cut short when he smashed his lips against hers in a fierce kiss.
