The next day was rather awkward since Harry and Draco, were forced to act like nothing had changed between them. So both of them did their best to try and ignore one another whenever they bumped into each other in class and so on. Although, both of them only longed to be alone once more. Harry had told Hermione and Ron about everything that happened the night before insuring them that Draco was trust worthy. Both of them were happy about this but Ron was obviously still not very trusting to the idea they Malfoy was truly on their side. The day passed as slowly as ever when Harry finally found himself about to walk out of his last lesson of the day. As he walked toward the dormitory he heard his name being called.

Harry turned around only to see Dumbledore himself coming along the hallway with a small smile on his face.

‘Harry I would like you to come to my office in a few minutes I must have a word with you.’

Harry shook his head, and Dumbledore walked away toward his office. He quickly made his way to the dormitory leaving his books and bag behind and then set of to find Dumbledore. When he reached the office he saw Dumbledore waiting for him with Malfoy at his side. Draco smiled as Harry came closer. They both looked around for a moment making sure no one was in sight and quickly planted a kiss on each others lips. Dumbledore smiled at this and told them to follow him. As they walked behind Dumbledore they both wondered what Dumbledore was planning as they began to reach the dungeon floors.

They finally reached a small room that was more like a crypt. It was one of the unused class rooms that had remained unoccupied for years. The door was more like that’s of dungeon, made of wood with spikes all in front with a small barred window in the top center. When they went inside Harry saw that was almost the same as the room in the department of mysteries where his hearing was held, only there was no chair in the lower center.

‘I have made some preparations to give you both a place where you may spend time together comfortably as well as a place to commence your training in’ said Dumbledore as he closed the classroom door behind them.

‘Why this place? Other than the fact it hasn’t been used in years I don’t see how this place is any better than any other room in the castle or cleaner’ Draco responded with a look of disgust as he looked around.

Harry had to agree but before he said anything Dumbledore spoke once more:

‘Do not be fooled appearances Mr. Malfoy please let me show you why this place is ideal.’

Dumbledore moved to the far right corner of the room where a small broom cupboard stuck out of the wall. He gestured for Harry and Draco to follow him as he walked over to it. He opened the door and shoved them both quickly inside, and closed the door as he walked in himself. For a moment Harry was completely confused as well as Draco. But, suddenly as Harry leaned against the opposite end of the cupboard he felt an ice cold draft go through him as if he had walked through a wall of ice when he found himself suddenly, on the floor of a spacious room. Draco soon fell right on top of him as he fell though the wall just as Harry did. They quickly got up as Dumbledore arose out of the cupboard wall.

They both looked around in amazement as they saw a lavishly spacious room. Half of the room was obviously meant for practicing magic, since beautiful pillows covered the floor for practicing spells like stunning. The other half was like a bedroom. It had a large king size four poster bed in the corner with silver and gold bedspreads as well as paintings of far away landscapes. In the far wall was a large fire place with medieval designs and a bear skinned rug before it. Chairs of black leather surrounded a table which looked like a cross between a dinning table and a desk.

‘I have managed to make this room for you both to give you a place where you can be alone but also begin some training. Tomorrow night I would like to begin your training but I must first tell you of some rules for this rooms use. Now Draco, I have spoken with Professor Snape and he has agreed that it would be wise if you spent the night here at times when your safety might be in question as there are some students in your house that I am sad to say would only love it all too much to get In Lord Voldermort’s good graces.’

Draco flinched at the sound of the Dark Lords name but stayed calm.

‘Now, I must insist on the both of you that you must keep your relationship a secret for as long as possible. Being thus, Harry, I would prefer if you did not spend the night here with Draco, as it would arouse too much suspicion, and it will give me time to make some other plans for your safety. Only I, and the heads of your houses know about the existence of this room and it must stay that way, at least for now. I want for both of you to meet Professor McGonagall here tomorrow evening at 6 o’clock to begin your training Harry. As for the rest of today you may stay here until dinner time so you two may make yourselves comfortable and spend time alone.’

The pair of them listen to all Dumbledore said, absorbing it all little by little. Dumbledore turned around and went through the broom cupboard, leaving them alone. They both decided to look around as they were both unsure of what to say to each other. When they both had there fill of looking around they sat on the bed facing each other. Harry suddenly placed his hand on Draco’s face, planting another kiss on his lips. Malfoy returned the favor by doing just the same, and they found themselves kissing each other feverishly. They stopped suddenly to take a in some air, neither one looking away from each other.

‘I never thought I would find myself kissing you’ Draco declared with a large smile.

‘I guess life has a huge sense of irony’ Harry chuckled.

‘Every now and then I wonder if it would have been different all these years if you and I had been in the same house.’

Harry then turned red, realizing that Draco knew nothing of the sorting hat’s dilemma of where to place Harry. Malfoy saw this and asked if he said something wrong.

‘No it’s that you made me remember my first year of Hogwarts at the sorting ceremony. You see, the sorting hat wanted to put me in Slytherin. But, I kept asking it not to since I heard about how it had a habit of turning out dark wizards so it put me in Gryffindor instead.’

Draco looked dumbstruck at this news, clearly at a loss for words.

‘I guess it’s no use to wonder about it. All that matters is that we are here now’ Draco said finally.

They both talked about themselves until they both realized it was time for dinner. Harry left the room first so as no one would see them together, giving Draco a long kiss good night...
