The weeks passed by. Harry spent most of his time meditating, connected to the school repairing it. He only surfaced to eat and attend the funerals of those they lost. As promised, Harry made sure that those who fought to defend the school where given a hero’s funeral and all were given Merlin First Class medals for their sacrifice. Harry knew that their families wouldn’t care about the medals, just that their loved ones were gone. Harry closed the school shortly after the last funeral, announcing that classes will be canceled at the school until it was safe for students to live in again. He arranged for classes to be taught at Potter Manor for those who wanted to continue their lessons. The professors were more than happy to help keep the students on track so that they wouldn’t need to play catch up the following year. Hermione, Draco, Neville, Luna, and Ginny all stayed behind to help with the repairs. The war had brought them all so close that they could draw on each other’s magic. Harry and Draco had the strongest of the bonds and when Harry was meditating, one could find Draco right by his side. Slowly but surely, the school started to go back to normal as the world around them rebuilt. The Deatheaters that were captured were all tried and sentenced to death for crimes against humanity. Those who aided them were fairly sentenced under the new minister, Arthur Weasley. Those that had run were being hunted and brought in. As February rolled around, Draco noticed that Harry was taking more breaks when repairing the school. He found it odd since the last few repairs were small compared to the giant undertaking rebuilding Gryffindor Tower was. That alone had left Harry unconscious for over a week.
“Are you feeling alright love?” Draco asked as Harry ate his lunch.
“Just tired. It feels like I don’t have the energy to keep going right now. Like when I have a cold or something.”
“You should see a healer Harry. There could be something seriously wrong with you. A side effect from the battle just now showing symptoms or over use of you magic.”
“Sure. If it will help ease your mind we will go.” The two boys flooed to St. Mungo’s after telling Hermione where they were going. She looked just as concerned as Draco and told Harry to rest, they would finish fixing the school. They landed at St. Mungo’s and Harry had to rest a minute. The trip had made him feel ill. That made it much clearer to him that he was most definitely sick. He was seen right away. As the heal did her scans and check over his health, Harry asked about the twins, Lupin, and Tonks. He was pleased to hear the Lupin and Tonks were going to be released in a few days to finish healing at home. He was also told that the twins were healing as well, but they still had a long way to go before they could go home. Both were recovering from multiple curses and the healers weren’t sure what side effects there may be from the mix that they were hit with. Harry and Draco waited patiently for the healer to tell them what was wrong and were shocked by some of the questions they were asked most pertaining to their love life.
“Well, as far as the tests go, it would appear that Lord Potter here is pregnant.” The healer said with a grin. Harry stared as Draco keeled over in a faint.
“Seriously?” Harry whispered.
“Yes. Because you are a male though, that puts you at high risk already. Throw in the amount of power you have been using and there is already a good chance you could lose the baby.”
“What do I need to do?” Harry asked as Draco rejoined the conscious world.
“Bed rest, no magic, and lots of healthy food. We will give you a potion that will help lessen the chances of a miscarriage and give you a better chance of going to term.”
Harry and Draco grinned at each other. There was no better way for them to start off a new life together. They got the potions they would need and Draco took Harry to Potter Manor to rest. Everyone else could do the work, he had a family to take care of and that was exactly what he was going to do.

Hope you all enjoyed my story. There will be a sequal, New Ties is what I'm thinking of calling it that will fallow our favorite group of friends as the deal with the aftermath of the war and their persnal lives. I'm still working out what direction I want the sequal to go in. Thank you all for joining me on this part of the journey and I will see all of you in part two.
