A Look In The Past

“Lucius…” a snake-like voice called out.

Malfoy gulped then said “M-My Lord.”

Voldemort crept from the shadows and smiled eerily to all his present Death Eaters “I am glad to see all of you here, but I notice… We are missing two.”

A voice spoke up “Karkaroff is dead My Lord.”

Voldemort actually looked surprised at this “Is that so? Do you know how?”

Another voice spoke up “A surviving servant of the house claims that the Devil himself killed everyone.”

The Dark Lord hummed “Is that right Goyle? Hm… Strange indeed if the Devil himself walks amongst us.” he then put his hands together “Now, to the reason why we are here.” he looked around “Is Bardock present?”

A black cloaked figure popped into existence then bowed “Sorry I am late my Lord.”

Voldemort looked at the figure and said “You seem to be late a lot Bardock, do I need to question your loyalty and reliability?”

Bardock scowled under the mask and took it off, showing his growling face “Of course not! I have been loyal and far more useful than most of the-” he growled out a Saiyan insult “-here!”

Voldemort took out his wand and inspected it “Hm, yes, you have been very useful Bardock.” he looked at the Saiyan coldly “But I think you will turn from me because of your son. Is that something I need be worried about Bardock?”

The Saiyan stared at Voldemort “No.”

Voldemort narrowed his eyes then pointed his wand at Bardock “Prohibere Energia!”

Bardock gasped as he fell to one knee, his body feeling like his just finished a mission “W-What the fuck?”

Voldemort smiled cruelly “Crucio!”

Bardock let out a shriek and fell to his back, his body withering pitifully as pain lanced through him. Bardock’s eyes rolled into his head as he convulsed violently, his tail fur spiked up in pain under his cloak. When the pain ended, Bardock gasped like he’d been deprived of air. He coughed viciously then rasped out “I-I’ll fuckin k-kill ya!”

Voldemort tisked his tongue “I don’t think so Bardock.” he pointed at Bardock again and hissed “Crucio!”

The Saiyan let out another blood curdling scream as he convulsed on the ground. The only question running through Bardock’s head was ‘Why? Why is he doing this and how? Why do I feel so powerless?’

Voldemort chuckled “A good question Bardock. Why am I doing this? How am I doing this?” he swished his wand and the pain stopped. Bardock shuddered deeply and curled into a tight ball, his muscles jumping and twitching. “Knowing very well that you could overpower me with that energy ability you have, I designed a spell to take away that energy.” he grinned triumphantly “And I see that it has worked, you are weaker than the average human now Bardock.”

Bardock croaked out “W-Why… I-I’ve be-been so l-loy-yal…” his voice jumpy from the left over pain jolting through him like electricity.

Voldemort slowly walked around Bardock “I couldn’t let a dangerous beast like yourself out in the world without some sort of leash to hold onto now can I? Who’s to say you won’t betray me?”

Bardock gritted his teeth then spat in the Saiyan Tongue “I-I will rip o-out your spine li-little man! I w-will bathe i-in your blood!”

Voldemort sighed then pointed at Bardock again with his wand “Crucio!”

Bardock roared in pain, his body convulsing heavily “A-AAH!” when the pain stopped again, Bardock curled into a tight ball and covered his head to hide the fact he was leaking tears “T-To-oma… P-Please…” Bardock let out a pitiful whine as he mumbled for his mate.

Voldemort raised an eye ridge at the babbling Saiyan then turned to one of his cloaked members “Severus,”

The cloaked potions master nodded “Yes, my Lord.” Severus pulled out his wand and murmured “Locomotor Bardock.” The Saiyan’s body lifted up then Snape led it out of the room. Snape brought the man to another room and set him down on a bed where Bardock curled into it. Severus sighed and pulled off his mask and hood, his face said that he had pity for the alien. He reached over and gently pet Bardock’s hair “Shh….” he said softly when the Saiyan whined and tried to move away “It’s alright Bardock.”

Due to exhaustion, Bardock slowly started to fall unconscious “T-To...ma…” the Saiyan then promptly passed out.

Severus tilted his head “Toma?”

“His mate.”

Snape turned around as a figure walked out of the shadows; on of the cloaked members from the other room. The figure pulled back his hood and looked at Bardock. Severus raised his eyebrows “Mephisto?”

The disguised demon looked at Snape “Hello my Snake.” he walked up to Snape and caressed his cheek “How are you faring?”

Snape leaned into the touch “As well as I can Love.” he looked back at Bardock then to Mephisto “You said that this Toma is his mate?”

Snape sat down next to Bardock and threaded his fingers through his hair “Yes, his mate. Toma is a Beta and Kakarrot’s Bearer. He died a little over two years ago according to Bardock.”

“Oh, how unfortunate.” Severus looked back to Bardock. He watched as Mephisto bent down and murmured something then kissed Bardock’s forehead. The Saiyan softly smiled and started to purr. “What did you do?”

Mephisto sat back up and continued to pet Bardock’s hair “I eased his mind.” he took Snape’s hand into his own then touched Bardock’s forehead with his other hand.

Snape widened his eyes as his vision vanished and another room took its place. He looked around the new room, it had sand colored walls and round shaped walls. He heard the quick patter of small feet and looked over to see a long haired small child running and giggling with a grin in his face.

“Come back here you little rascal!” Severus looked to see a younger looking Bardock running after the small child. Bardock suddenly lunged forwards and caught the child around it’s waist “Gotcha!”

The child screamed in surprise then started to wiggle “Daaaad! Let me goooo!”

Bardock pulled the boy into his lap “Oh no you don’t!” he tackled him to the ground, pulled up his shirt then pressing his lips to the boys stomach and blew.

The boy shrieked and started to push on Bardock’s head “DADDYYY!! NOOOO!!” The long haired boy screeched and laughed at the same time, his fluffy tail thumping against the older man’s head.

Severus heard a chuckle behind him and he turned to see a taller male with his hands folded over his very round stomach “Bardock, stop torturing Raditz.”

Bardock sat up “Aw, Toma! Spoilsport!”

Raditz wiggled out of his Father’s grip, ran over behind Toma, hugged his leg with his arms and tail then peered at Bardock. The boy stuck out his tongue “Meanie!”

Toma smiled softly and ran his fingers through Raditz’s mane of hair “He’s just playing around Raditz, no need to feel insulted.”

Raditz huffed then said “Nappa says that’s no way for a warrior to act!”

Bardock stood up “Ugh! What did i tell you about talking to that psychopath cub!”

Raditz pouted then ran away to his room. Toma looked after Raditz then looked back to his mate “Nappa is not a psychopath Bardock and you know it.”

Bardock snorted “Yeah, sure, and i’m not a Saiyan.” he went over to Toma and leaned up then kissed him. Toma smiled into the kiss and purred, his tail swishing gently behind him. Bardock knelt down and put his hands on Toma’s large belly then pressed his forehead to the bulge “I can’t wait to see you my cub. I hope you take after your Carrier.”

Toma smiled and threaded his fingers through Bardock’s hair “Well, I hope he takes after you.”

Bardock pressed a kiss to the pregnant Saiyan’s belly then looked up at Toma “Me?” he stood up and smirked “Then I’d be having to chase cubs from my house day and night to keep their tails off of him!”

Toma laughed then swatted Bardock with his tail “You and your vanity Bardock.”

Bardock winked “You know I’m right. I mean,” he took a step back and motioned to his body “Look at me.”

Toma rolled his eyes then walked up to Bardock and purred “I am looking at you my mate.”

Bardock smiled warmly then pressed his hands to Toma’s round belly “How long now?”

The taller Saiyan smiled and put his hands over Bardock’s “Doctor thinks seven more rotations, I think it’s more like five.”

Bardock purred happily then led his mate over to a round chair and let him sit down. Bardock knelt down and pulled up Toma’s shirt then kissed the bulging skin. “Soon my cub… Soon.”

Toma’s eyes were soft and loving as he watched his Alpha worship the babe inside him. “I’ve been thinking of a name.”

Bardock looked up “Really? What’ve you got?”

“I was thinking… Kakarrot.”

Bardock blinked “Kakarrot?” he purred with a smile “I love it.” Bardock nosed Toma’s belly and said “Hello little Kakarrot.”

Severus felt his heart twist with sorrow at the sight of the loving family. It was obvious to Snape that Bardock was a well loved family man. The vision faded and Severus slowly looked over at Mephisto. The demon looked back at Severus then reached out and swiped his thumb under the potion master’s eye. Without realizing, Severus had started to shed tears in his grief. Mephisto smiled softly at his lover “It’s alright Severus.”

Snape rubbed his eyes then looked back at Bardock, a smile was on the man’s lips and he continued to purr happily. “This poor man… To lose such a life… It makes my heart hurt…”

Mephisto looked at Snape then scooted over and embraced him “He will strive on. He has his cub, Kakarrot, that is all that matters.” Severus nodded into Mephisto’s chest then looked up. He cupped the demon’s face then leaned up to kiss him.

A knock on the door then it opening made Severus jolt and Mephisto look at the door in annoyance. “S-Sev-ver-rus?” Peter peeked through the door then froze when he saw that Severus was blushing lightly and Mephisto looked like he was going to murder him. “Uh… m-my Lord w-wishes t-to s-see you Me-Meph-phisto...”

The demon growled deeply then said as his eyes flashed red “Leave.” Peter jolted then quickly backed out and closed the door. Mephisto growled angrily, a spiral of black smoke curling from his lips. He stopped growling when he felt Severus kiss his jaw. The demon turned his head and kissed Snape’s lips “One of these days that rat will bleed over my claws…” he snarled when they parted.

Severus smiled slyly “I know my Love.”

As Mephisto stood up, fire engulfed his being and what stood in his place was the red Devil, Lucifer Morningstar. The demon King’s fiery crown floating between his two obsidian black horns. When he opened his mouth, a deep rumbling voice rolled out “Severus, watch over Bardock while I go see a certain reptile.…” he growled and narrowed his eyes as he walked forwards, phasing through the door. When the Devil phased into the room he knew Voldemort and some of his men were in, the Death Eaters gasped in horror and backed away.

Voldemort bowed deeply “Lucifer, I am glad you-”

“Speak your request so I can leave Tom.” Lucifer rumbled, darkness oozing from his being since he was still pissed about Peter.

The Dark Lord stood back up “I wish to know what Toma is. The creature was muttering it earlier.”

Lucifer raised an eyebrow “You cannot simply penetrate his mind and see for yourself?”

Tom sighed angrily “I cannot. He has trained his mind well enough that I cannot see into it.”

The Devil chuckled in amusement “My my, the Dark Lord bested by a monkey. Strange days indeed Tom.” he crossed his arms “I will tell you for… my usual price…” he smirked toothily, his long white fang glistening in the low light.

Voldemort nodded then motioned with his hand to some Death Eaters. The two Death Eaters left the room then came back with a writhing young girl. She looked to be screaming but she was not making a sound. “Your payment for your knowledge.”

Lucifer grinned widely then stepped up to the girl and grabbed her face. The girl looked at him in fear, her eyes wide and body shaking. The demon inhaled deeply then rumbled “Mmm… a young virgin… delectable…” he licked his lips then attached his mouth to hers. The girl’s eyes widened even more and she started to squirm viciously to try and get loose. Slowly though, her movements got slower, and slower until she stopped moving. When Lucifer removed his mouth, her eyes were glassy and her body lax in the arms of the two Death Eaters. The demon King licked his teeth and murmured “The soul of a virgin… such a delicious thing…” he chuckled darkly then growled at the two men. The Death Eaters rushed away quickly and Lucifer turned to Voldemort “Payment has been made. I will give you what you requested.” he crossed his arms again then said in his bass thundering voice “Toma is Bardock’s deceased mate.”

“Hm, interesting.” Voldemort smoothed his hand along his boney wand “Tell me everything about this… Toma and her connection to Bardock.”

Lucifer chuckled deeply making all the Death Eaters shiver “Toma is a Beta, a male of the Saiyan species that can give birth to children. According to my records, Toma died on the same day that you found Bardock. Toma gave birth to two Saiyan cubs. His first born is a male Beta named Raditz, currently deceased. His second cub is a male Alpha named Kakarrot, currently alive.”

“Kakarrot?” A Death Eater spoke up. They pulled down their hood to reveal the blonde haired Lucius Malfoy.

Voldemort turned to Malfoy “You know this Kakarrot?”

Lucius nodded “Yes my Lord, he is the.. Um… lover of the boy who is stay with our family. Draco’s close friend, Prince Vegeta.”

Lucifer raised an eyebrow when Lucius said ‘close friend’ he chuckled at the man’s ignorance. “The term for their kind is ‘Mate’, Lucius.”

Mr. Malfoy paled when the demon spoke to him. “R-Right…”

Voldemort stroked his pale neck in thought “Hm… Lucius, what do you know of this… Prince Vegeta?”

Lucius cleared his throat then said “He is strong, a bit arrogant but he is a Prince so that is not unexpected and he is passionate about fighting and training. When he first came to live with us, he requested that I teach him curses and hexes.” he fiddled with his cloak “He has the same ability to use energy like Bardock as well as fly.”

Voldemort looked at Lucius “Do you think he would be a valuable member to our cause?”

Lucius nodded “Yes my Lord.”

Tom turned to Lucifer “Devil, I ask you, does this Vegeta have darkness in his heart and is he a pureblood?”

The demon King nodded “He does have a darkness in his heart, his past it troubled which caused this darkness to come to light. He is a pureblood.”

Voldemort hummed then said “What kind of dark deeds did this Prince Vegeta do?”

Lucifer narrowed his eyes then snapped his fingers and a scroll appeared from a burst of fire. He grabbed the paper then looked over it. He then handed the scroll to Voldemort.

Tom eyed Lucifer then took the scroll and started to read. When he was done, his eyes were wide in shock and awe “Such darkness and… power…”

Lucifer chuckled “Mm, yes indeed.” he took the paper back then destroyed it “Another reason you should not try to anger the Prince. He is very quick tempered.”

Voldemort started to pace then stopped, turned to the Devil and bowed “Thank you for your assistance.”

Lucifer growled “Don’t mention it mortal…” then turn turned to walk back to Severus when he spotted Peter. He snarled at the portly man and Peter fainted, hitting the ground with a dull thud. The Devil laughed sadistically as he phased through the wall.
