It was Monday morning again; Draco and Harry went off in the mass Apparation so that they could put their notes in order before their classes started after coffee. Harry had a study period after tea and Anthony came to see him, with one or two of the DA Members.
“Harry, would it be possible to have a common room for the DA Members? At the moment we divide into our house common rooms, but we’d rather be all together. Especially as we want to support Blaise and co, who are having a hard time in the Slytherin rooms.”
“Most of you will leave at Christmas, is there any real need?”
“Don’t forget that there are some seventh-years like Ginny, Dennis and Luna, also some of us are staying on to do post graduate stuff. Not many, I grant you. Some of the members want to add to the group, voting in the most promising present seventh years and the outstanding sixth-years. After all, the Master’s still a threat and it’s a good training ground for would be members of the Order; isn’t it?”
“You have a point, let me think it over. I’ll let you know at the weekend; okay?”
“Yes thanks. Blaise says he has four Slytherin prospects in mind; he calls them the smiling ones.”
“Oh I see, I know who he means, I think. Now let me get on with my studies please.”
“Right Harry, thanks for listening.” The delegation departed.

On Tuesday Harry was observing his students as they wrote notes about the lesson they had just participated in. In his dream state he wondered what Draco was doing. Suddenly he was looking out of Draco’s eyes seeing his students making potions. It was one of the eighth-year sessions. The potion was familiar as Draco had shown him how to make it the week before. He shared Draco’s frustration as Neville blew himself up, yet again. Then Harry realised that there wasn’t going to be a scene; because Draco used the incident to recapitulate the lesson, with Neville helping him. Net result was that Neville got it right the second time, and Draco’s students were now a hundred percent sure of that particular potion.
That night he mentioned it to Draco, thanking him for being so patient with Neville.
“No point in getting nasty with him, it only makes him worse. I\'ve found that a little TLC with him goes a long way. I’ve been dream-joining you in your lessons too, Love; seeing your students through your eyes. I even shouted out a warning when Lilac Lillestrom set George on fire. It amused my class no end.”

Over the next couple of days the pair practiced communicating and at the same time Harry thought about the DADA common room proposition discussing it in person with Draco, Hamish, Ron, Hermione and finally with Minerva.
“There have always been student societies within the Hogwarts, quite often built by or round a personality or member of staff. You already have the society; all you need is the meeting place. That can easily be arranged.” Minerva replied to Harry’s query.
“Yes but, I want it to be as open as possible, not like the Slug Club, which was held in order to become cachet of influence.”
“Nonsense Harry! The DA already has that cachet. A society is not worth belonging to unless it makes the member feel special. Look at a Quidditch team, or the new wizard chess club just starting up. You already said there were people wishing to join and that the members had voted new ones in. I belonged to a couple of societies when I was a student. House rivalries are useful in some ways, but we need to see how different outlooks can work together for the general well being. In three or four years time you’ll be voting in you first goblin and elfin members, you mark my words.”
“Yes everyone says that. Then why do I feel uneasy about it?”
“I think you’re worried about it turning into a Harry Potter appreciation society. In one way it already is; yet you listen to their ideas and act upon them. Remember Harry, they value and care about you because you equally value and care about them. Set up democratic ways of decision making, as you did with accepting your first four Slytherin members. Also, you ought to ensure that a large minority cannot be easily overruled so as to keep reasonable equity.”
“Mmm, yes I see. Thanks Minerva. I’ll give it a go. There’s a spare room in the DADA suite that would be suitable. May I use that one please?”
That’s your area Professor; you do with it what you want. Nevertheless I’m glad you confided in me beforehand. Why not use your little group of experimenters as an inner cabinet? Say plus Hermione and Ron?”
“Mmm, thanks again, Minerva. Yes I will.”
Harry shared this discussion with Draco that evening, mostly by thought transference whilst they were marking essays, and received his lover’s full support. The result was that, in the evening of the next Saturday, the Dumbledore Society was formed accepting Harry’s idea [transferred from Minerva] for the inner cabinet with Harry as Chair, Draco as Vice Chair, Hermione as Secretary and Justin as Treasurer. The first meeting charged their cabinet with setting out the basic qualifications for membership.

That week the Duelling Club went well and the four Slytherins worked hard at their extra lessons, as did Harry under Draco’s potions tuition. Draco and Harry had added Phealey and Pullet to their group tutorials as well.

After Dinner on Thursday evening Probert and Selwyn came to see Harry, they looked worried.
“Professor, Gregorian has disappeared. We’ve looked everywhere for him.”
“Tell me where you’ve looked?”
The two young goblins recited a long list of places, and Harry agreed that they had been quite thorough in their search. Draco became involved as did Hermione, Ron and Hamish. Together they went to see Minerva who organised a search party, confining the students to their common rooms under charge of the prefects.
“Have you been bonded yet?” asked Hamish.
“No Professor, but we’ve matured enough now to make it possible.”
“Bonding?” enquired Draco.
“Yes. Do you remember me calling up Porlock and Tarmindale when we fought the Master’s minions in the forbidden forest?”
“Yes I see what you mean; his friends could have traced him, couldn’t they?”
Harry caught on. “I think we’d better try the lower areas, don’t you? Filius and Minerva are quite positive no one has penetrated the wards. If I were abducting someone I think I’d take them down to where the basilisk used to hang out.”
“You two must stay with Professor Granger until we find him. All right?”
“Yes Professor Holderness.”
Two reluctant goblins went with Hermione into her sitting room.
The senior party went into the bathroom, broomsticks in hand, and Harry opened up the chute into the chamber. They tried to be as quiet as they could whilst sliding down but Ron slid into Draco and knocked him down. As they opened the vault door, four forewarned, cloaked and masked figures flew out knocking Ron and Draco back into the filth again. Hamish and Harry moved through the door towards the main room. Gregorian was there.
The young goblin was naked and appeared to be sitting on a conical seat. He was gagged and crying. On closer inspection things were more alarming. His penis was hard and had his wand inserted down the urethra. There was an elastic cord tied round his balls and each end was looped round one of his big toes, his knees were bent, so that if he tried to straighten them, he was subject to intolerable pain. The other problem was that the cone was not a seat; its end was inserted in the trembling goblin’s anus. To save himself from being split, he needed to put his feet on the ground. By doing that he would castrate himself.
Harry took in the situation immediately and applied a light lifting charm. Ron produced a knife and was about to cut the elastic cord.
“Ron stop! If you cut it, it will rebound and do him untold damage,” Draco yelled.
Hamish supported the sobbing youngster, whilst Ron and Draco carefully undid the knots in the loops round his big toes. Only when that was done could the knots round his balls be seen to. The next problem was the two insertions. Both had been done dry and would probably cause great pain when withdrawn. Draco used a lubricating spell on the student’s bottom, but Hamish stopped him doing so on the penile probe. At least now Gregorian could stand without too much discomfort.
“Hamish looked at his younger counterpart. “Gregorian, do you have an emission pending?”
Gregorian coloured up. “Y-y-yes P-professor.”
“I think you ought to be bonded immediately. Are you up to it?”
“Yes, Sir. I wouldn’t be in these straights if I hadn’t been.”
“Ron. Would you mind telling the others that we have found Gregorian? More importantly will you bring Selwyn and Probert down here, please?”
Ron flew off and five minutes later re-appeared with the two youngsters.
“What happened to Gregorian is very serious,” Hamish commenced. “Had you been bonded then he could have called for help. I suspect he was picked on because of his father’s connections to Gringott’s. Would you be prepared to bond with him now?”
“Yes Sir, of course, but who will be our seniors?”
“Can we do that for you?” Harry blurted out, before thinking the offer through.
*You realise we have to masturbate them, don’t you, Partner?* Draco thought.
*No! But if it helps them to protect themselves, I will. Will you?* Harry sent back.
“Our two favourite professors. Ooh; yes please. Will you?”
Hamish accio’d a peculiar glass flask with three necks in it. He explained what the ceremony was; some of the detail had Harry blushing. Hamish had accio’d another bottle which contained a bright pink liquid.
The other two students stripped, placing themselves in front of the two professors. Hamish stood behind Gregorian. Harry reached down and gripped Selwyn’s rooter, which had already blossomed into a crimson pole. He began pumping at the same time as Draco attended to Probert’s prick. The two young goblins reciprocated in time to their senior’s attentions and were soon ready for the next part of the ceremony.
Hamish applied a quick lubricating charm and the wand shot across the room. Gregorian was inserted quickly into one of the flask’s necks, cumming profusely. Harry and Draco did the same for their charges; causing the three emissions to mix inside the curious flask. Each mentor was very careful to milk the last drop out of their charge, before Hamish applied the bungs. The flask was shaken; then some of the pink liquid was put inside the flask and shaken again. As they watched the colour changed slowly from pink to crimson and then to deep purple. Draco reminded Harry about their bonding auras following the same colour pattern.
“I, Gregorian, pledge bonded brotherhood to Selwyn and to Probert before these, my seniors. This bond will be everlasting.” Gregorian uncorked the flask and drank some of the liquid.
The same type of pledge was made by the other two. Once that was over they side hugged each other in a tight circle. The three seniors placed a left hand on each other’s shoulders making an outer ring. Touching fingers of their right hands to Hamish’s fire-stick in the centre. This created a purple aura which sank into the three inner participants.
“FRATER UNIFICAMUS,” our pair and Hamish said in unison.
Ceremony over the three bonded ones thanked their seniors, got dressed and rode pillion out of the chamber, which closed automatically at Harry’s hissing behest.

On Friday evening, Harry and Draco found themselves at home with a group of second years and an excited Gregory; wishing to show them the plans for Milkwood. Once the students were settled in and following their common room pursuits, Gregory grabbed the two professors and took them to Milkwood via the Wood-path. Once inside they went into what had been the estate office. Gregory spread the neat coloured plans which he had drawn and began to point out the salient features.
“Draco, we’ve drawn up these plans for you to look at. As you can see, every room has a small bathroom attached to it, including the elfin snugs. There are twenty-two double snugs, four singles and two family snugs. These are situated in the attic space and will house the worker-elves as well as the student ones. On the floor below we have twelve double student rooms – they can have an extra bunk put in if necessary making thirty-six residents. In this centre section, as well as the two staircases, there are four single rooms. These single rooms plus the four single elfin snugs on top are intended for visiting Instructors. Now, downstairs in the main body of the house, the centre room will become the refectory and the western one the common room. The eastern one houses firstly the locker room with a small servery and then an enlarged kitchen so Winky can teach magical cooking.”
“That looks good, what about the Muggle groups who come?”
“The accommodation doubles for them also. Once we have the house completed the cruck-barn, where the Muggles sleep at the moment, will be done up to make an indoor games area, it’s also high enough for teaching flying in. Seamus reckons that he could make a viewing gallery, if so the covered alleyway situated between the house and the barn would become steps from the front and a covered bin yard outside the back door, partially underneath those steps.” Gregory pointed out the various items on his highly detailed plan.
“I see you have used the ground floor west wing for a stable, why?” asked Harry.
“That’s where the stables are now. Daphne and Ginny keep their horses there at the moment. Daphne thinks she might like to run a small riding school, open for Muggles and magicians alike. Then the east wing ground floor is my flat and this estate office. It can be used for tutorials and will be partly a study for those who like books. There\'s plenty of room, as you can see. Seamus and Dean think that they can use the alterations as object lessons for the students. It will take longer, so we estimate being on line with phase one completed in time for the seventh-year groups just before Christmas.”
“What do you mean by phase one, Greg?” asked Draco.
“The accommodation in the house. Did you know that the new work doesn’t alter the outside at all? We chatted to Francis; he says there is no need for the authorities to be involved until phase three. Oh … Sorry … Phase two is the sorting out of the cruck barn, then phase three is the most ambitious, using the bottom stew-pond as a swimming bath and glassing it over. We chatted to Dolores offering her pupils the use of the facilities and she says that she would support our application. As the nearest decent pool is at least twenty-five miles away. A lot of the pool idea depends on money being available; however, we might have it ready for next summer on an open-air basis.”
“You have been busy, Greg. Well done, seems all right to me. What d’you think, Harry?”
“It makes the alterations at Magnet Cottage look like peanuts. It’ll be fun seeing it growing each weekend. Isn’t there a change of use involved?”
“Did you know that Wash’s dad works in the county council planning office?”
“No?”
“Well he says that as it is already licensed for paintball and for people staying there, so everything is already covered. All we’re doing is upgrading the facilities. He also thinks that, as we already have glasshouses on Woodyates farm immediately next door, putting one over a pool may not be such a difficult proposition as far as the planning authority is concerned. He’s going to look into things at let Francis know how to word the applications.”
“You seem to be working closely with Francis?” Draco had a knowing look on his face.
“Not that close! If I think that’s what you mean. We had fun that day I’ll not deny it, but nothing will come of it. He’s got his eye on the Solicitor’s practice here. He’s fed up with the rat race in London and the hard-nosed attitudes of the partnership he’s in. So he’s negotiating with the retiring legal bloke to see what’s possible. We’ll remain friends; I like his sense of humour, but nothing will go further than friendship. I’m not sure your way of life is for me, either. If you see what I mean.”
“Okay Greg, you’re doing a good job here and we support you. Nice to know Hogwarts does, isn’t it?”
“Yes Draco. So you approve of the plans then?”
“Of course, who’s next?”
“Minerva and the board on Monday.”
“Do you need our official agreement?” asked Harry.
“I don’t think so, well not in writing anyway. Perhaps a word in Minerva’s ear, if you know what I mean.”
“Okay; we’ll have an informal chat with her.”
Billy joined them and they went on a tour of the building, in what was to become the dining hall they found Seamus and Dean measuring up. The next hour was taken up with a tour of the premises, relating the plans to the actual terrain. Draco was surprised how little the present internal walls would have to be altered. More a case of altered door holes than anything else.
It was quite dark as they walked up the Wood-path towards the Apparating Gate.
“Harry? Would you mind if we made a path through your shrubbery, just about here.” Dean asked. “It would join on to this end of Magnet Alley and enable its magical residents to come and go out of the public eye. Apart from Dolores in School Cottage at the end and Wash’s parents further up, all the residents are magical. I had a chat with Wash’s parents and they’re quite happy. If we put in a gate near the village pond just by Dolores’s back gate, that will keep things private. Ginny and Daphne already jump the stream and follow a path to the stables. So we thought to put a little plank bridge there. Basically that protects our magic area and the elves can come and go without transforming.”
“What about Wash’s parents seeing them?” asked Harry.
“They already know. They wandered into Woodyates kitchen one day and found Hyacinth washing up.” Dean giggled. “They thought Wash had changed sides and she was his girlfriend.”
After the laughter subsided, Dean told them how he had explained; adding that the parents would be also able to use the private path that would lead to Woodyates. He would be charming a brass key because the gates would be equipped with magic locks and only open to medallion holders. He also suggested that Dolores be given one, so that she could take her pupils to the barn or swimming pool once they were in commission. The path extension and the end gate plus a few more were sanctioned.
Chocolate time was nearly upon them when they arrived back. Harry had just enough time to tell his story before everyone retired. Draco and Harry had a lively shower-time together and an even livelier romp in their bed, feeling thankful that it didn’t squeak.
§§§§§
In the morning, during the briefing, Harry said that, although wands were not allowed broomsticks were; explaining the limits so that no Muggle would see them. The games were more concentrated so Harry decided to take to his ’stick and the invisibility cloak to monitor what was happening, but did not harass his referees. Draco went to his lab, and set about sorting some of his manuscripts from the two trunks-full that he had acquired.
Having finished his monitoring Harry returned to the cottage, calling in to see how his lover was getting on. As with all jobs that include sorting through papers, there were piles all over the floor and tables. Harry sat on the only available chair and surveyed the organised chaos around him and his partner. His eye fell on a bunch of parchments tied up with black tape.
“What are these Draco?”
“What …? Oh those …! They’re the notes I took whilst repairing the vanishing cabinet, I’m going to throw them away.”
“Mind if I have a look first?”
“Mmm …? Oh …! If you like.” Draco was concentrating on something else.
Harry picked up the bundle and repaired to his study, not wanting to distract an obviously preoccupied Draco from the task in hand. Harry found the account quite interesting, but his careful study of it was disjointed as student needs and meals intervened. Only after Draco’s evening story and the pair’s love-making did the subject come up.
“Did you read my notes then?” Draco asked, half amusedly.
“Not finished them yet, calls of duty got in the way. Can I keep them, please?”
“Why not! They’ll be in your pile of junk instead of mine.” Draco sealed his approval with a lingering goodnight kiss.
§§§§§
Sunday morning at church, the augmented choir was in the back balcony. Hamish had introduced the other Muggle choir members to the concept of elves and a very clear top-line soared over the congregation, not that they could see the singers producing it. Transformed elves were presented with their cassocks at the appropriate time, returning to the choir-loft and becoming themselves again. John’s notices reminded them of the Harvest Home in two weeks time and asked that volunteers for decorating the church please liaise with Samantha. His sermon was about building the temple, not the bricks and mortar one, but the temple of pure faith in one’s innermost being.
Hermione and Griphook went to help the churchwardens with the count and John asked Harry to help with the harvest service.
“Green man again, if possible, but not the full monty this time, please?” He added with a chuckle. “Green robes and a garland would be appropriate I think, Dear Boys.”
Harry agreed and introduced the second-years to the vicar; still amazed that they had decided to come to church en masse. What with the DS Members, the choir people and the students, there were enough young people on both sides to split up, so both a football and a netball match took place before the regular pub lunch.
Once inside and looking at the menu, the Grumbleweed clan arrived.
“Harry, Draco, we got the house,” greeted Gertie, who then introduced Gregorian’s younger sisters to the pair and Dolores. “We move in just before Harvest Home. Isn’t that wonderful? There are apple trees who’s fruit we can use for the decorations in church and maybe other stuff too.”
“And the pool has goldfish in it!” squeaked one of the Grumbleweed daughters.
Griphook smiled indulgently at his small daughter. “More importantly Mages; we must thank you for rescuing Gregorian and being seniors for his bonded brothers. That makes you the equivalent of their godfathers, you know.”
The men shook hands, but the wife and daughters hugged and kissed them. Both Harry and Draco were highly flustered by the show of affection.
§§§§§
The late afternoon feedback from the practical sessions was overwhelming. Statements like “Why couldn’t we have done this before?” and “Can we sign up for a proper course, please?” became almost repetitious. Filius had Apparated in for the Sunday debrief and looked as pleased as punch with the remarks, collecting a sheaf of interested names in the process.
During the ethics debate, which John took by himself, Harry looked over some more of the sheaf of parchments; asking Draco pertinent questions. Draco overcame his distaste for the subject and regained some slight enthusiasm as they envisioned good uses for pairs of cabinets. Mainly on the lines of: ‘wouldn’t it be fun to surprise someone by popping out of their wardrobe,’ ideas. This lead, in their imaginations, to certain dishy people being caught in flagrante; which ideas, in turn, inflamed the pair’s libidos. As Dean and Seamus had promised to see the students to sleep, Draco and Harry indulged themselves in suitably sexy games in the privacy of their own bedroom.
