I woke up, after what seemed like no time at all, to Lex trashing about in the bed, mumbling in her sleep. Still half asleep myself, I tried to wake her up to no avail. I looked at Lex again, she didn’t even seem the little bit surprised by what she had seen. When she noticed I was looking at her, she looked away. ‘you knew?’ I asked her.
