They were squatted side by side, hidden behind the thick foliage that surrounded the small clearing, emerald-green and silver eyes narrowed as they watched the shuttle come in for its landing in the middle of the well-hidden grove. Spread around the grove, hidden within the trees and brush, were the rest of their team, Severus, and the rest of Counter-Intelligence, and the warriors that Ardyn had put together.
The shuttle finally touched down, the engines shutting down. The shuttle's bay doors began to slide open... "Rory? Harry?" came the question through their communication earpiece as the ramp began to lower.
"Wait," he murmured, watching as the ramp began to lower. "Let's let them get comfortable before we move in. Besides, Riddles people aren't here yet."
Harry turned his head just as the sound of an air car arriving reached their ears. Roark followed Harry's gaze as five men got out of the car, two of them obviously Terminators to help protect the cargo once released into their care.
"Now?" came another question, this one from one of the team as they watched the men approach the shuttle.
Roark turned his head, his eyes moving to look at Harry, who, it seemed had the same distasteful look that he did. "Not, yet. Have a little patience, people," he told them. Then, moments later, they heard the sound of a second air car.
"Riddle, do you think?" came the soft question in their ears.
"That would be highly unlikely," came Harry's soft answer as they watched three more men get out of the second car, moving to meet the first ones to arrive. "Wonder what they're talking about."
"Doesn't matter," Roark said as they turned together and headed for the shuttle. "NOW! Move in."
In a matter of a few microns {seconds}, they had the shuttle surrounded and the men to stunned to move in order to stop them from confiscating the shuttle, arresting and securing them. They were to be taken back to Colonial Headquarters for questioning, and then. once they couldn't tell them anything else, they would be processed and sent to one of the Colonies' prison barges.
Entering the shuttle, they saw the entire cargo area lined with shipping crates against the walls. "Several long whistles sounded as they looked around the bay. "What do you think we have here? And how many?" they were asked as they all looked at the shipping crates."
"Jordan," Severus moved to the nearest stack, and together they pulled one down, unsealed it, and then opened the box. Inside they saw bundles of silicon-wrapped packages. "Anyone care to guess what we might have here?" they were asked as Severus pulled his knife from his belt.
Cutting into one of the bricks, they saw a substance of blue powder. "Without analyzing what this is, I couldn't tell you for sure, but given its color," he lifted it to sniff. then dipped a finger into it "Hum...there's no smell," he brought the finger to his lips--
"SEVERUS!"
Severus looked around the cabin at his frowning family. "Relax, this little bit won't hurt me," he told them as the warriors they had brought with them began to remove the crates. He touched the tip of his tongue to it. "Oh, he is going to be absolutely FURIOUS that he lost this," he said with a wide smile.
"What is it?" Roark demanded.
He shook his head, "Like I said, I'll need to analyze it to be positive, but if I had a guess, I'd say it's the pure uncut version of that new hallucinogenic making its rounds to all the Colonies."
Oh yes, Riddle would definitely be furious about losing this "Well, then, let's get this loaded up, shall we? We have two centars {hours} before that slaver comes in."

"We need to have a talk, little brother," Harry growled as he stalked onto Roark's apartment a few days later, emerald eyes sparking with unhappiness.
Roark looked up from the beautiful, sunset landscape cross stitch he was working on, the threads he needed already cut and waiting to be used. Seeing that his brother was steaming about something, he finished the few stitches he needed, then sat forward to put it on the coffee table, stood, and moved to the sideboard to get them both a drink.
"What has you so upset, tonight?" he asked, passing him a glass.
"Why didn't you tell me you and Ardyn were dating?" he asked as he took it, glaring at him.
"Because we aren't dating, Harry," he told him.
Harry studied him, sipping from his glass. Moving to one of the chairs set before the fireplace, he sat. "Not according to some of the rumors making their way around the base, or to Ardyn himself."
"Excuse me?"
Harry looked at his brother's surprised expression. Ok then, there was something not quite right going on here. "He's going around Base telling anyone who will listen that the two of you are dating."
"He's WHAT? Harry, we ARE NOT dating? I don't even like him all that much," he told him.
"Care to explain why he thinks that, then?"
Roark shook his head. "I have no idea as I made it very clear when we started having these little dinners," he said, then went on to tell him quickly and concisely about his decision to have dinner with him. "It was simple really, as all we talk about is the case, the team, and what Admiral Roark would like to see us do here." He shook his head again. "I have refused to discuss anything of a personal nature with him."
"SIMPLE!" Harry exploded when he was done. "Roark Christopher Peverell Potter, there is nothing simple about any of this. You are having dinners with the very man we suspect is our main leak, the man we believe killed Kale. The very same man who has decided for reasons of his own that you are his, and his alone"
Roark sighed as he sank onto the couch, hands lifting, fingers beginning to massage his temples where yet another headache was beginning to form. "I know, and trust me, brother, I am being very careful about the things that I say to him. How I react to some of the things that he says to me when he tries to slip something more personal into our conversations."
"Roark--"
"Believe me when I say I am NOT, on ANY level, attracted to him, and I really don't want him thinking that I am, but I need to see if he'll slip up, maybe say something we need that we can use to prove he's our spy."
"And HAS he?"
He shook his head. "No. He's too guarded. His thoughts...his feelings are just way too jumbled for me to read them with any accuracy. Sometimes, when he DOES say something, it's always in context with what the other leaks have done, or are doing. On the rare night that we have actually gone out, I'm always extremely uncomfortable. I just can't stop now, Harry. I KNOW he is our main leak, we just can't prove it, and I'm honestly beginning to wonder if we ever will. He's just that good at covering up after himself."
"I...see. Alright then," he moved to his side, sat, wrapped an arm around his shoulders, "just do me a favor. Make me a promise that you're going to be extra careful. You've said you don't want him to think that you're attracted to him, and I really hate to burst your bubble like this, but he already believes that you are. I want your word that you won't so and so something completely stupid and reckless to get him to make some kind of a mistake."
A smile turned his lips up. "I already had to promise Severus the same thing, and yes Harry, I'll make you the same promise."
"Fine then. Come on, let's get you something for that headache and then I think it was time you went to try and sleep it off."
"Sounds good," he said as he let Harry pull him to his feet to lead him to his bedroom.
