I walked my merry little ass down the trail, hell bent on ruining another life. Well not really, if anything I was saving another life. One unfulfilled and dripping with loneliness. He had the decency to blush and look down at his shoes.

“It’s not just you Hagrid, everyone who… is with me on this thing I’m doing, has signed one of these… tell you a secret, Arthur and Molly just signed one.” I took a big risk, but I could see his eyes light up.

“Oh, The Weasley’s signed one. Why didn’t ya say so…” I held my breath as he grabbed a quill from his comically small desk and walked over. I pointed at all the spots, squinting my eyes shut as he scratched the last line and nearly fell over clutching his chest. “What…Harry…that’s not….wow…” He looked at me curiously.

“Hey Hagrid.” I tried to distract him as I waited for the full magic to take hold. “You ever thought about you know….kids or a family?”

“Stand up.” I laced magic into my voice, watching him grow scared as I held up my hand. “Take off your clothes.” I sat there, watching as the man started to disrobe. “Actually, close the windows first, and put on some lights.”

Once things were arranged I laid back, cheekbone on my wrist as I watched the muscle gutted groundskeeper drop the last piece of fabric to the floor. I let him stand there for a second, his face a mask of shame and betrayal.

I stood, and with a smile undid a few buttons. In a fraction of the time, I was standing as Jamie right in front of him.

§§”Are you worried that you will fail to defeat him, or worried you will lose yourself to the victory?”§§ She rubbed her temple against mine as we watched the act in front of us grow more disjointed and panicked.

Sorry to tease, but I only managed the 4 chapters this week, 8k words is a little low by my old standards but I'm just getting back into the swing of things. Hope it doesn't disappoint.
