Sitting in a comfortable chair in the room of requirements, Harry leaned his head back and closed his eyes. He'd be able to get a few hours of peace and quiet in before anyone found him...hopefully.
His peace and quiet only lasted about ten minutes before the door opened and Hermione walked in carrying a large package in her hands.
“Another one has arrived for you, Harry.”
Groaning, Harry buried his face in his hands and said, “I think I want to reconsider the negotiations between our side and the gods.”
“Harry I highly doubt they'd be willing to renegotiate after you already agreed to choose between Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades and carry a wizard and demigod mixed child for them in exchange for their help against Voldemort.”
“I think we could do it without their help.” Harry said stubbornly, ignoring the package that Hermione set in front of him.
“We probably could with many, many deaths along the way. Besides, it's an honor for them to ask you to carry one of their children.”
“Yes, but their courting gifts are very...out there and very forward.” Harry said.
“They can't be that bad.”
“Mione the last gift that Poseidon sent me was a water based sex toy.”
Blushing at the thought, Hermione said, “Well you know they'd stop if you made a choice.”
Sighing, Harry said, “That's just it. I don't know who to pick. They've all been very attentive and honest in their pursuits.”
Patting his shoulder, Hermione headed for the door and said, “No one else knows your hiding out in here and I promise I won't tell them about it so you can get your peace.”
“Thanks Mione.”
“Oh and Harry,” Hermione said, with her hand on the doorknob, “Nobody says you have to choose between the three why not have all three?”
As she walked out of the room, Harry grinned as he thought about that.
