And without a doubt jealous of his son.
But still…
She could not ignore him.
This was her life.
He kissed her, a feather-light touch, and she actually smiled. It…tickled.
‘I love you.’
Would she ever say she loved him?
Maybe not.
But to say she felt nothing would be a lie.
This was her life. She could be happy or miserable.
Most of the time, she wasn’t miserable. And maybe sometimes...it was even okay.

I never expected this to go on for so long, and feel like the endings is kind of cheesy but I didn't know how to end it!! So I thought it would be best if she didn't hate it...her life with him...but didn't love it either. But there is that glimmer of hope!
I want to thank especially Adiva. I deleted some replies at the end of chapters largely because I felt they were distracting. I know I replied to some reviewer responses so I hope you are not upset if they are now gone.I tried to correct spelling errors as multiple reviewers raised that issue. I did not address grammar as much because this is such a process! Don't even get me going on active/passive voice I would still be writing the story if I focused on that!
I respect all reviews/critics. I understand that my writing is not thoroughly developed but I have to admit I do not spend as much time reviewing the content as other writers on this site might [which is why I have so many errors!]. I will try at the very least to not have the spelling errors out of respect to the readers, who read the material.
Other stories will be cleaned up as soon as I have the time to get to them. Thank you all for your support!! I will continue to write these dark stories as predictable as they might be because they are my guilty pleasure :D:D
