Chapter
Five – Un– Unwanted thoughts.
Two bodies moved together; their breaths laboured as they
moaned and squirmed.
He were in heaven, the feeling of warm lips, a warm breath,
and skilled hands; all this running over his skin;r hir his body.
He moaned; his head was thrown back in his bliss, mouth open
as he tried to at least capture some form of oxygen for his lungs, but with the
body above him, with those open mouth kisses on his neck, those hands sliding
over his chest, with all this it was almost impossible to capture air.
He was feeling light-headed his mind spinning, his thoughts
were clouded. He could feel teeth nipping at his collarbone. He ran his fingers
up the bare back, stopping when he felt the silky hair. He buried his fingers
into the hair, twirling it around.
Lips were moving up his neck, over to jaw and towards his
lips. As soon as lips met he was pushed further into the bliss, his body
withering beneath the talented hands, the warmth… he couldn’t handle much more
of this.
A tongue flickered out, moving across his lower lip. He
heard a whimper… one that unmistakably came from himself, but he didn’t care.
Opening his mouth he was invaded, the tongue darting in; exploring.
He moaned again, eyes closed as he raised his hips, pushing
them against another pair, feeling the other ones excitement; just the
knowledge of what was going to happen almost sent him overboard, but he held
on.
His hands gripped the biceps, his eyes fighting to open, to
see who was brining out these sensations; who he was making love to.
Pale skin glistering with a thin layer of perspiration, eyes
closed, long eyelashes casting shadows over highhigh cheek bones, blonde hair
falling around the face, tickling his own cheeks.
The other’s eyes slowly opened, silver glazed orbs met his,
a small smile flickering across the boy’s lips; but the smile soon vanished as
the lips captured his, pulling him into a heated kiss.
He felt fingers moving downwards, they brushed over his skin
as they travelled. They reached their goal.
Eyes fell closed as his head was thrown back, a loud moan escaping
his lips as he withered beneath the body.
Eyes flew open.
Harry bolted upright in his bed, his breaths in pants as he
wiped the sweat off his brow. His body was trembling, like a leaf in the wind.
His mind slowly returned to its natural ability of thought.
It was a dream. Just a dream! A dream that involved a
certain someone, doing a certain something, but a dream all the same!
/p>
“I- I didn’t know I sent it… I-”
“Forget it… Just… just don’t think that again… I’m
traumatized enough as it is” the boy said, shaking his head as he tried to
vanish the images that had been sent to him over tink.ink.
Harry nodded vigorously; face flushing to a red that would
rival the Weasley’s hair.
Standing, Draco frowned, “You can leave now!” he stated,
crossing his arms over his chest as he looked down at Harry.
Looking back up at the blonde he frowned. Then his eyes did
the unthinkable, they raked over the blonde Slytherins body.
He was wearing nothing but the school pants. Draco’s chest
was hairless with the small outlines of muscles; stomach tight and flat… the deep
bellybutton with a small trail of blonde hair moving down before vanishing
under the pants.
The boy’s blonde hair was damp, clinging to his face and
neck, a few droplets of water falling and running across his skin. At his neck
Harry saw the small marks that he had made last night. Two of them, one on his
collar bone, a nice shade of red; and the other higher on his neck, visible to
anyone who bothered to look. Both marks stood out clearly on his pale skin.
Standing he nodded to Draco’s neck, his blush never leaving
his face. “You might want to put a concealing charm on those marks” was all he
said before turning and walking out of the room, closing the door behind him.
Draco’s hand flew to his neck as he spun to look into the
mirror behind him; /Shit/

“I’d like everyone to welcome back, Mr. Malfoy and Mr.
Potter” Dumbledore announced, a smile on his face as his eyes twinkled.
Both Harry and Draco suppressed groans as all eyes in the
Hall turned to them.
They had just entered the Great Hall, thinking they could
sneak to their seat without being noticed. But then Dumbledore had to reck
everything, announcing their presence to the whole school population.
Cheers and claps soon erupted, most for Harry, but the
Slytherin table clasped for Draco.
Both boys exchanged looks- this was the test.
They’d have to sit on opposite sides of the room, and be
surrounded by people. The last time they had been surrounded was when they had
woken up in the hospital wing… and that was a while ago. Even then they hadn’t
been at a large distance from the other.
Taking a deep breath both boys turned away from each other
and strode towards their own tables.
Ron and Hermione smiled at Harry, both moving so their
friend could sit between them. Their eyes also travelled over to Draco who was
walking over towards Blaise and Millicent.
The bonded pair sat.
Harry closed his eyes as he felt the tug, it wasn’t strong
but it was enough to let him know there was a large gap between himself and
Draco. But then there was a new feeling, he could feel through the link - to
Draco - he could feel other people around his bonded partner, he could sense
that Draco was in close proximity of others.
The sensation was a confusing one, but it was there; it was
annoying, forcing Harry to turn and look over to the Slytherin table.
Draco was sitting between Millicent and Blaise; both were
leaning in close to him, whispering.
Just that sight made his bond twitch… the pull tightened
just a little, ost ost like someone was pulling at it.
/Potter, you’re going to draw attention if you keep staring
like that/ a telepathic voice drawled, making said boy jump in surprise.
Frowning, Harry turned back to the table where the food sat.
/I wasn’t staring, Malfoy/ the Gryffindor snapped.
/Whatever/ was his only reply.
“You okay, mate?” Ron asked, snapping Harry from the small
fight.
Looking to his friend he nodded, still frowning somewhat,
“Yeah, I’m fine” he answered.
“Eat up, we’ve got classes to get to, and you’ve got a lot
of study to catch up on” Hermione announced, pushing a plate in front of Harry.
It was the last thing on his mind, study. But it was also
confusing to say what the first thing on his mind was. It was definitely
something to do with Draco Malfoy; Malfoy and the bond that is.
He could still remember the day the two had found out about
the plans.
(Past: Third of
September)
Draco and Harry sat silently in the Headmasters office, both
eyes locked on the elder, both eyes as wide as dish plates.
It was Draco that managed to brake through the shock first,
“WHAT!?” he screamed, leaping from his chair, horror written over his face.
Harry was silently shaking his head, his own eyes wide and
unbelieving. This was some kind of nightmare, a nightmare that was too
realistic.
Dumore ore sighed, his age showing as he rubbed his temples,
“Trust me, I don’t particularly like this discovery, I’ve looked for many
answers since Natalia made the prophecy.
Harry stood up, panicked. “But why us!?!” he asked, waving his
hand between Malfoy and himself, his eyes nevervingving the blue ones of his
headmaster.
Sighing, the man waved his hand, “Please sit down, I’ll
explain everything” he promised, looking to each boy.
Harry was the first to obey, Draco slowly following, his
eyes hard and silver, a deep glare locked on Albus.
“First of all. Natalia is a
powerful Seer, her past predictions and prophecies have all been true before,
not one has lead me wrong” he stated, looking to each boy, making sure they
listened to his words closely.
“Natalia told me - through her trance - that both of you
would be the ones to defeat Voldermort, that something great would come out of
the ‘Se astringo Totus,’
the darkness would vanish and souls cleansed” he stated, eyes turning serious.
“I have looked for other ways, but there’s not much mistake
in this. Both your names were used” he said.
Draco frowned, shooting a glare to Harry before returning
his glare to Albus. “What about this, ‘Se astringo Totus’, what about that?” he asked.
Dumbledore sighed, “I’ve had little time to research it, but
I do know it’s a bonding ceremony, it’s ancient and powerful, the ancient Druids used it in weddings.”
At these words, both Harry and Draco jumped up from their
seats, eyes wide.
“I am NOT marrying, Potter!!”
“Are you serious, me, marry HIM!?!”
Both screamed in outrage at once, their eyes glaring holes
in the headmasters head.
Dumbledore didn’t even flinch; instead he sighed and closed
his eyes, rubbing his temples. “I’m not asking you to marry each other. I’m
saying that this is a powerful binding charm. I need you to both think about
this.”
Draco shook his head furiously, glaring at the twohe
he
walked backwards, “No way! When I agreed to join the order, to become a spy; I
didn’t agree to bonding with Potter, I didn’t agree to be spoken in a
prophecy!” he yelled, before turning and quickly rushing out of the room.
Harry and Dumbledore watched as the door slammed shut behind
him, Dumbledore sighed.
“Sir. I don’t like the idea of
bonding with Malfoy, not one bit… I don’t think I’d even do it if it meant I’d
save the world” he said, shaking his head. “I’m sorry.”
As Harry reached the door and opened it, he heard Albus
speak to him. “Think on it Harry, it’ll save many lives.”
(Present: Seventeenth
of January)
That was all he had been able to think about since that day.
“Harry!” feeling something poke him in the side, Harry
looked up blinking.
/Potter!/ Another voice snapped,
making him blink twice. /Potter, I would like to leave about now, the bonds
already tight, I can’t leave here until you do. So get moving!/
“Yeah, yeah” sighing, the raven-haired Gryffindor stood,
glancing over to his friends and offering a small smile, assuring them that it
wasn’t them that he was snapping at.
Hermione offered a light smile, her eyes flickering to where
Draco was now standing, glaring back. “I guess we
better go then… don’t want to keep Malfoy waiting” she scowled.
Harry only nodded, standing slowly and sending a glare back
to Malfoy, telepathically telling him just where he could go, this only made
Draco raise an eyebrow however, and smirk.
/That’s kinky, Potter/ he said, his smirk turning into a
small smile as he shook his head and signalled for the confused Millicent and
Blaise to follow him.
As Harry left the Hall with his friends, Draco followed a
few feet behind with his, each making their way towards the Transfiguration
class.
As they entered, the students sat in their usual seat,
making sure that Slytherins were on one side of the room as Gryffindors were on
the other.
Draco sat beside Blaise as Millicent made her way over to
Pansy. This wasn’t turning out to be a good day, already he was feeling
exhausted, the bond was itching to have him sit with Harry.
Then there was that dream he had last night. He had actually
dreamt of the raven-haired Gryffindor in a non-expectable manner. He found it
easy to blame the bond; after all it was the one that wanted the two to
complete the binding.
But that reason still didn’t take the images away.
He could remember every detail of the dream, he could
remember every sent and every feeling that the wizarding world saviour had sent
him. That dream had been too real, the images were too clear to even be
mistaken as a dream; and yet, it was a dream.
He had woken very early that morning; he didn’t even bother
to be quite, he had leapt from his bed and practically ran to the shower,
washing away everything he could that would even suggest such a dream had
occurred.
“Draco” a hiss woke him from his confused musings. His head
snapped up to find Blaise looking at him with some concern but mostly
confusion.
“What?” the blonde snapped, keeping his voice low when he
realised the class had already started.
“What’s with Potter?” the boy asked, jerking his head in the
direction of a very red-faced Gryffindor.
Draco levelled his eyes on the boy, frowning. /Potter, what
the hells gotten you so embarrassed?/ the Slytherin
snapped.
Harry jumped from his seat, his head snapping up and eyes
moving to the other side of the room where the blonde boy was sitting, looking
back at him.
Turning back to fronfront, his eyes on the table in front of
him as his face deepened in colour, /N-nothing… I… you were… I mean… can you
wait for me outside, I need to ask you something./
Draco raised a brow, /Why not ask
me now? No one can hear us/ he questioned, watching the nervous fidgeting of
the other.
Harry swallowed, /No, it’s not appropriate… just wait after
class/ he said, before picking up the quill and writing down whatever it was
McGonagall was saying, though even he didn’t know.
Draco frowned, shaking his head as he looked back to the
curious Blaise and shrugging.
“Now, team up with your partner from last week, and get
started” McGonagall instructed, tapping her wand on the desk to gather the
attention. “You’re all to write a ten foot essay with you’re partner, I want
you to discuss all the changes you notice between and during the spell, then I
want you to answer why this would be happening” she instructed.
As soon as she finished, the class groaned as they stood and
began moving over to their assigned partners.
“Mr Potter, Mr Malfoy. Seeing as you two were absent last
lesson, you two will be partners for this assignment, I trust you’ll at least
try to get along to complete it” she said, narrowing her eyes on both boys.
With a nod from each, Draco stood, seeing as he had Seamus
Finnigan waiting to sit with Blaise, a frown on his face.
Dropping in the spare seat next to Harry, Draco sighed,
“Okay, what do we have to do?” he asked.
“Honestly, didn’t you listen when Professor McGonagall was
talking” another voice pipped up.
Draco turned in his seat, looking to the frizzy haired
Granger behind him with a raised brow, “If I were listening, I wouldn’t have
asked what to do” he stated simply.
Unfortunately, seeing as he had been studying on the binding
ceremony with the Gryffindor brains, he had - in a disturbing manner - come to
respect the girl. She had stayed up late with him on occasions, helping him
understand the concept of what would happen between himself and Harry.
She helped them all, gave them books to read, papers to work
on and even herded Draco’s friends and himself to study with her and the two
other boys.
She had basically been in charge, making sure they all
studied and understood everything; she even tried, on numerus occasions, to end
the feud between the study group.
After all the late nights and hard studying he was forced to
do with the brown haired Gryffindor girl, he found himself, unwillingly,
growing a small amount of respect for her. She knew what she was talking about,
and always made sure that whatever it was she was looking at, she had enough
background information to hold a two hour class session.
Then again he still found her an annoying know-it-all bitch.
Hermione had only rolled her eyes and then proceeded to
explain to the bonded couple exactly what it was they were meant to be doing.
/Oh!/ Draco’s head snapped up, looking over to the
raven-haired boy that stood next to him, wand pointed at the small cat he had
transfigured from a mug.
/Oh, what?/ Draco asked, raising an
annoyed brow.
Harry grinned as he looked to Draco then back to the cat.
/Before Professor Dumbledore left last night, he told me that we’re having
private lessons/ the raven-haired boy unceunced.
Draco rolled his eyes, /I know, defence lessons, not that I
need them/ he scoffed, watching as the cat slowly transformed back into a mug,
he jotted down a few pieces of detail he had noticed before taking his wand to
now preform the spell as Harry sat to take notes.
/We’ll then; the lessons will be a breeze for you. But we’re
going to be learning Animagus training too/ Harry commented, writing on the
parchment as he watched the mug transform into a cat.
Draco stopped, his head snapping over to the Gryffindor,
“You’re not serious” he stated.
Harry looked up, a small grin on his face, “Oh yes I am” he
stated.
“Guys, you do realise you just started talking aloud”
Hermione whispered harshly behind them.
Draco looked at the girl then around the room, “Well no ones
seemed to have noticed” he hissed back.
“Sorry Mione” Harry said, also scanning the classroom
silently. No, everyone was too busy with their transfiguring to even notice
Draco and himself were talking civilly… wait! He and Draco were talking civilly?
Is the world coming to an end?
Chuckling, Harry shook his head and looked back down to his
paper.
/So when do the classes start?/
Draco asked, already working on changing the cat back to the mug.
/Eight o’clock on Wednesday and Saturday/
Draco gave a silent nod.
An hour later, both Draco and Harry were standing outside
the classroom, Harry’s face once again red, and Draco waiting impatiently.
“You do know we have potions now?” the blonde inquired,
tapping his foot on the ground, his arms crossed over his chest and glaring at
the raven haired teen.
“Yeah... Um, I-I think we need to talk to Professor Snape
after class… about what happened… last night” the boy finished, head hanging to
try and hide himself.
Draco felt his own heat run over his cheeks as he glared at
the raven-haired teen. “Potter, why the hell do you want to talk to Snape about
that?” Draco snapped in a low voice.
Licking his dry lips, Harry looked up slowly, his green eyes
meeting hard silver, “Because, we both had… er…
dreams, a-and I think it was something to do with l-last night” he finished.
This time Draco’s face flushed a light hue, his eyes
dropping to the ground as he nodded, bitting his lower lip, “I-I sent my
thoughts over the link… ha?” he asked.
Harry diverted his eyes as he nodded, his own bottom lip
finding its way between his teeth.
Draco tried hard to regain his composure, though his blush
seemed to want to stay. Nodding his head, he swallowed his shame, “Fine… but we
ask him after class.”
With a nod from both, the two teens headed quickly down the
hall to catch up with their own friends, rushing into potions class before
Snape.
As soon as the two were seated between their friends, Snape
entered the room, his robes sweeping along the floor as he made his way to the
front of the class, turning to face his students.
“You’ll all be working on a healing drought” he announced to
the class, “It’ll take you most of the lesson, then I want you to write a six
foot essay on the purpose of the potion and what it can be used for” he stated.
“Well, get to work!”
With his order spoken, the class was on their feet and
working on the potion.
Harry was stirring the crushed beetle’s wings into the
yellow potion when he felt a tap on his shoulder.
Lookiner her his shoulder he smiled at Seamus, “Hey, what’s
up?” he asked.
The Irish boy smiled back, leaning over his table, “So,
where were you?” he asked, his head tilted to the side.
Harry gulped, his eyes flickering over to Draco, who was working
silently across the room from him. Turning his green eyes back to Seamus, he
shrugged, trying to hide his nervousness, “Isolation. Didn’t Dumbledore explain
it to the school?” he questioned, trying to put his concentration back onto the
potion.
Seamus seemed to be studying him for a while, his brown eyes
scanning Harry before he shrugged, “Well, yeah, he did say something. But I
thought it was some kind of costorstory” he stated.
Harry shook his head, glancing once again to the Irish
Gryffindor, “No, no cover up” he stated.
“Mr Potter!” A harsh voice broke into the silent
conversation between the two Gryffindors. In front of him, Snape stood, his
dark eyes fixed on both Gryffindors. “Did something in my instructions say that
you were aloud to chit-chat with your
house mates?” the Professor asked, almost too calmly.
Harry shook his head, his eyes not meeting the Professors,
“No sir” he said.
“Well then, twenty points from Gryffindor. Now I don’t want
to hear any tal talking from you. Get back to work!” the man snapped, before
turning on his heels and walking back to the front of the class.
Harry shot a glare at the greasy haired man. His jaw
clenched from trying to keep his retort down. Already Snape was laying into
him, that man never gave him a break.
/You know Potter, it’s almost like you enjoy getting points deducted/ a voice spoke clearly in his head.
/You know what Malfoy, I’m going to ask Hermione - the next
chance I get - to find a way to bloke out telepathic voices/ Harry snapped,
shooting a glare over to the blonde Slytherin.
Draco looked up from his potion, raising a brow as a small
smirk came over his lips, /Well then, be sure to tell me if she finds anything/
and with that, the boy turned back to his work, leaving Harry seething.
The rest of the lesson went by silently, apart from the
small explosion from Neville’s caldron, other than that, it was rather boring.
Once the class was over, and everyone was quickly packing
up, to get out of the dungeons as quickly as humanly possible. Harry and Draco
took their time, nodding to their friends in lentlent command to go on without
them.
As soon as it was just them in the class, both Draco and
Harry approached the desk, where Snape sat, signing papers.
/Maybe this is a bad idea… I mean, Snape hates me enough as
it is… I don’t want to give him another reason to pick on me/ Harry said,
fidgeting with the hem of his robes sleeves.
Draco gave him a questionable look, before rolling his eyes
and clearing his throat, “Professor” he stated.
Snape looked up, scowling when he saw Harry; he settled his
eyes on Draco, ignoring the dark-haired Gryffindor all together. “Yes?”
Casting a glance in Harry’s direction, and seeing no help
coming from the boy, Draco sighed and turned back to his mentor, taking a deep
breath and tg tog to force the blush away.
He couldn’t believe he was about to ask this.
“Um, sir. I…we were woing.ing. If – say hypothetically – that Potter and I,
kind of, well almost, in a small way, gave into the bond… and we, well we like…
um, kissed and such. Would that do anything to the bond…
I mean, hypothetically of course” the blonde asked, his cheeks carrying a pink
tinge to them.
If Harry wasn’t feeling embarrassed about the situation, he
would have found it rather humours to see the great Draco Malfoy blushing and
stuttering, after all, it wasn’t an image you see every day.
Snape’s eyes widened slightly, darting to each boy in front
of him. Then, sighing and rubbing his temples, he shook his head, “You gave
into the bonds pull?” he questioned.
Both Draco and Harry quickly shook their heads, blushing
even more. “No… just… well kissed… a lot” Harry stated, hanging his head to
avoid the glare that was sent at him.
“What did you Pot Potter?” the Professor snapped, his dark
eyes burning into Harry’s head.
“It was both our faults! Sir. We
just want to know what this will do to our bond… will it cause any
difficulties?” Draco asked, bitting his lower lip.
Severus sighed, leaning back in his chair, “Did this happen
recently?” he questioned, with both boys’ embarrassed
nods he sighed again. “It will put strain on the bond. You both have given the
bond a… taste, so to say, of the
other. Now the bond will be more determined. You’ll have to expect… disturbing dreams, uncontrollable
thoughts and sometimes even actions, your bond will be harder to fight as
well.”
Both boys’ eyes widened.
“Are you saying, that because of
what happened last night, we’ll try to jump each other?” Draco asked, looking
to Harry beside him, and then back to the teacher.
Snape glared to the blonde, “Yes, that’s what I’m saying.
Now, if you’ll both excuse me, I’ll have to take this information to the
Headmaster” the man snapped.
The bonded pair watched as their Professor left the
classroom.
“Well this just gets better” Harry murmured, beside him
Draco nodded in agreement.
