Harry sighed as they made their way to the great hall for lunch after care of magical creatures, which for once had been very awkward for Harry.

Hagrid had shown them a set of twin wolf cubs that had recently lost their mother in the forest due to a death eater attack. That had taken place when the wolves had refused to join forces with Voldermort.

But what shocked everyone was the fact the wolf cubs had taken an immediate liking to both of Harry and Ginny. The pure white female cub with shocking bright green eyes had immediately stood beside Ginny. While her brother who was also pure white with the same green eyes had practically attached it’s self to Harry.

But what seriously rattled both Harry and Ginny was when said wolf cubs spoke to their master or Ginny’s case mistress, by means of a mind link.

The link and bond had been created as soon as Harry and Ginny had touched the cub that had approached them. They had each been surrounded in a golden white glow before Harry had heard the childish voice of a male. And Ginny had heard a similar tone of voice only it had been female instead.

Hagrid had explained to a very embarrassed Harry and Ginny that there was a certain very rare wolf species that were highly powerful magical creatures. They were required to find a human master or mistress whom was destined soul mates in every way possible when they reached a year old.

They were to bond and to then serve and protect said master or mistress. They had life span for as long as their master or mistress was to live.

Hermione had commented “it appears that they have found their true master and mistress in Harry and Ginny. They make excellent companions, and are known to be one of the most powerful magical creatures that exist, that is why they are so rare.

And the fact they appear to be identical means they are even more powerful and rare. Usually two wolfs of this species did not look identical.”

She added suddenly in awe “the reason why two identical magical wolf cubs are so rare is because they are only meant to bond with a couple who are destined soul mates, which means that you Harry and Ginny are each others soul mate, you are destined to be together.”

Harry and Ginny had blushed at this. They knew they were in love with the other, but they had no idea what’s so ever that the other returned said love with equal intensity.

So Harry and Ginny had spent the lesson being affectionately nuzzled by magical wolf cubs, very protective magical wolf cubs.

So that was how Harry and Ginny found themselves sitting at the Gryffindor table being closely guarded by two snowy white wolf cubs.

Harry and Ginny had looked up when their other familiars had flown in. Hedwig Harry’s loyal snowy white owl who was Harry’s familiar and Orion an identical owl but of the male species belonging to Ginny, he was her familiar. He had been a Christmas present from Harry for her fifteenth birthday.

It was not known for a witch or wizard to have two familiars except for the witch or wizard that had been blessed and destined to be bonded to a magical wolf.

Ginny discovered her new companion had been named by her mother, Adelle meaning in German, noble, kind. Ginny thought it an appropriate name for such a creature of Adelle’s nature. Adelle was very pleasant to people Ginny explained were no danger to her and were friends and loved ones.

Harry liked the name he was told his new companion had been named at birth it was Sacha, which meant, in Russian, helper and defender of man kind. Harry also thought his new companions name was also very appropriate considering who he was now bonded two, seeing as it was Harry of all people.

Harry and Ginny watched as both of their familiars communicated with each other. At Harry and Ginny’s questioning gazes Adelle explained to both Harry and Ginny that because Harry and Ginny were able to communicate with each others familiar so could they as well.

Harry frowned and said “I don’t understand I have never communicated with Orion, I have no idea weather Ginny has ever communicated with Hedwig.”

Harry startled as did Ginny when they each heard a different voice suddenly enter their minds. Harry heard a male voice that sound calm and had a light sense of air to it.

*Harry, you can hear me now and not before because you have willingly opened your self to me, you have not in the pass. Because you did not realise you have the access to my mind, as Ginny has to Hedwig’s because you and Ginny are Soul mates.

You two are just yet to explore and discover your bond that can only be broken by death. I suppose you are wondering how that bond came to be are you not?*

Harry and Ginny nodded. Ginny jumped slightly when she heard an unfamiliar female voice that sounded serene and very soothing to ones ears. Ginny quickly realised it was Hedwig she was hearing for the very first time.

*Ginny you and Harry must understand that your bond has always been there laying dormant waiting for you two too realise your feelings for one and other.

It was created well before either of you were even born. It is the will of destiny it self. Soul mates are so very rare. Everyone has one, but sadly not all find theirs.

When you two at least admitted to your selves alone that you were in love with the other your bond was activated, the bond having recognised the feelings you were both emitting around you.*

She continued *your bond has continued and will continue to develop. When you became friends and began to spend more time in each others presents your bond was strengthened and will continue to do so the deeper you fall in love and the closer and more open you become with each other.*

Orion commented to both of them and expanded the link so the six could hear, four of them members of the animal kingdom and two were members of the magical human race.

It was a strange sight to see to humans silently communicating with two snowy owls and two equally snowy wolf cubs.

*You should be able to communicate with each other, just merely concentrate on what you want to say to each other and you should be able to communicate with each other no matter where you are or how far you are apart, as long as the other is alive.*

Ginny linked to Harry. Harry smiled slightly and replied Ginny blushed slightly after hearing this. She replied

While Harry and Ginny continued to hold their own private conversation Hedwig and Orion turned to face their wolf counter parts. Adelle spoke to Hedwig #so how long have you know Harry and Ginny#

Hedwig replied #Harry is my master and companion. I was a birthday present to him for his eleventh birthday. I was in fact the first true gift he was to ever receive after his parents were murdered when he were a year old#

She added #and as for Ginny, I met her when Harry met the Weasley’s she was just ten years old and was on platform nine and three quarters waving her brothers off as they boarded the Hogwarts express for another year here.#

Sacha asked Orion #what about you? How long of you known my master and Adelle’s mistress? # Orion replied with pride #I was also a gift, Hedwig’s master gave me to my mistress for her birthday# He added #I’ve known Harry since he chose me in diagonally for my mistress#

Sacha suddenly commented as he closely studied his new master and companion #I sense my master as gone through unwanted transformation #

He linked to Harry #master I sense an auor around you that is yours but not quite your own at the same time, care to explain how that has come to be?#

Harry scowled and linked back to his new companion ~oh please Sacha enough with this master malarkey it makes me uncomfortable like you would not believe. Call me Harry if you expect me to answer in the near future.

And yes to answer your question I was on the receiving end of a malicious potions attack from a school enemy, during my potions lesson this morning. I should hopefully be reinstated to my original form within the next two months. You’ll discover I will tower over you once I’m turned back to my original appearance~

Harry rolled his eyes when the little wolf cub let lose a low menacing growl, at the mention of someone harm his master in any way. ~ He should be punished for even daring to harm my master~

Harry sighed and eyed the cub and told him ~not to worry Sacha I shall being seeing to it that Malfoy won’t ever think of crossing me again once I get back to normal. He won’t know what hit him I promise you that~

He added ~you are not to attack in less I am in mortal danger or am unable to defend my self, which I assure you doesn’t happen very often considering I have mastered wandless magic and silent spell casting~

The cub concentrated on his master auor and was delighted to discover he was extremely powerful, even more so then he him self.

He also took in the auor of his master’s soul mate and discovered she too was close to his master’s magical level, but would never quite reach equal footing.

He knew when his master was returned to his original state and they were able to stabilize the bond, her powers would increase to match her mates.

But her powers would cease to grow as soon as she came of age, but his master’s on the other hand would continue on for a few years afterwards, he could clearly sense it. She would be powerful, extremely powerful only her mate’s power would out grow hers.
