Chapter 4

        “I knew I would find you eventually. You actually thought you could hide from me” Viktor said grabbing her roughly by her hand and dragging her

‘Get the hell off of me! You know the ministry is going to be here soon! You just broke the magical restraining order” Hermione exclaimed struggling to get away from his grasp

‘I’ll be done with you by the time they arrive bitch! Imagine…thousands of witches in the world throw themselves at me every day but the one I really want thinks I’m not smart enough for her” he snapped angrily, slapping her hard across her face

Hermione stumbled back, feeling blood trickling from her lips

‘Please, just leave me alone Viktor” she pleaded

“You can’t deny me anymore” Viktor snarled, kicking her in her ribs repeatedly

Hermione screamed out in pain as Viktor continued his assault on her and eventually, she faded into the blackness; away from all the pain.

        Hermione opened her eyes slowly but quickly shut them when she was immediately met with bright lights.

“Miss Granger? Can you hear me?” she heard professor Snape ask

“Can you dim the lights please?” Hermione whispered to him

When they lights were lowered, Hermione opened her eyes to try and absorb her surroundings. She turned slowly to her right side and saw professor Snape perched on a chair watching her intently.

       “Where am I?” she asked

“You’re at the Malfoy manor; we knew you wouldn’t want to be brought to St. Mungo’s” he said

‘Thank you” she winced as she tried to sit up on the bed

“Are you in pain?” he asked

“No, just a little sore” Hermione said sipping on some water that was on the night stand

“You’re finally awake!” Lucius said entering the room with Draco

“How long have I been here?” she asked

“Three days; the ministry insisted that they be responsible for taking care of you” Lucius said

“I don’t understand…why did they take so long to respond?” she asked

“he found some way to break the restraining order…no doubt from one of his many contacts at the ministry helped him” he said

      Hermione shut her eyes again; trying to prevent the tears from spilling over on to her face.

“I tried so hard to hide from him for five years and he still ends up finding me. There’s nothing I can do anymore” Hermione said “I’m useless”

“You’re the furthest thing from useless Hermione granger! We’re already moved all your things to a room here; we’re going to protect you” Draco said

She gave him a weak smile before they all left to give her some well deserved rest.

    A few days had passed and Hermione was well enough to leave the hospital wing of Malfoy manor. The rooms Lucius had given here were huge and also included a huge bath tub as well as a private library. She was very thankful that she got to stay with them especially not that Viktor knew where she used to be hiding. She also had time to think and she was ready to return to magic; she had been so defenceless during her attack and she never wanted to feel that way ever again.

    “Now that you’re living here, can you please take me somewhere fun?” Draco pleaded with Hermione as he barged into her room

‘Well, I think we have different versions of fun you weirdo” she said poking him playfully

“Yes well, you’ve denied my countless number of sexual proposals so I’ll settle for something else” he said grinning broadly

“Are you up to going to a dance club then?” she asked

“A muggle dance club with you? I’m up for anything!” he exclaimed

“Good. Then get your arse off my bed and be ready in an hour!” she said chuckling as he bounded out her room no doubt in search of clothes

      It had been years since Hermione had picked up her wand and she missed performing magic. If she wanted to spend hours away from the manor, she knew she had to pick it up again. Heading into her private library, she lifted the box that held her wand from the shelf and opened it. She had heard of a wand changing on a person if it wasn’t used in a while and hoped that it wouldn’t happen to her. Hermione immediately felt the magic begin to surge as she held her wand tightly in her hand.

“Accio lamp” she said and excitedly ducked when the lamp flew towards the wall

“Reparo” she said and smiled when the lamp pieces flew back together, making the lamp whole again

        Hermione wanted nothing more than to grab a spells book and perform more magic but remembered that she had to get ready after showering quickly, Hermione looked through her closet to find the perfect dress. She finally settled on a short thin strapped black dress and chose to leave her tamed curls down. After slipping on a pair of boots, she hid her wand inside it where it would go undetected.

      “You look really sexy Hermione. Are you sure you don’t want to take me up on my sexual offers?” Draco asked brushing non existent lint off his shirt

‘Don’t make me hex your balls off Draco” Hermione threatened but still smiled at him

‘You have your wand on you?” Draco asked surprised

‘I have to start using it again sometime” she said removing her wand and holding Draco’s hand and disapprating them to a hidden alleyway near the club

     Hermione tucked her wand back in her boot before both she and Draco headed into the club. It was packed as every typical Saturday night was.

“Maybe we should head to the bar first” Hermione shouted at Draco loudly above the music

It was at the bar when Hermione spotted professor Snape on the dance floor with an unfamiliar woman, holding her very closely and dancing very sensually.

“Isn’t that uncle Sev?” Draco exclaimed asked looked in the direction Hermione’s eyes were glued to “I never knew he could dance like that”

“Please don’t call him over here Draco” Hermione pleaded but it was too late; Draco was already making his way back over to her closely followed by Snape

      “Miss granger” professor Snape said nodding towards her

Hermione couldn’t help but stare at him. He actually had on jeans and even though they were black, they fit him perfectly.

“Professor” Hermione managed to choke out

“Are you two serious? We’re in a club and you’re still addressing each other formally?” Draco asked laughing “well, I’ll leave you guys alone…I spot a lady that needs attention on the dance floor”

Hermione tried to hide her blush on her face; she hated that Draco left her alone in such an awkward situation.

       ‘What do you want to drink?” he asked her

“I’m not a big drinker so a beer will be fine” she told him

After Snape ordered two beers from the bar, he gestured towards a table that was located at the far corner of the club for them to sit at.

‘You seem to be feeling a lot better” he said

“I am thank you for your help sir” Hermione said taking a sip of her cold beer

“I didn’t know you could dance” she said as an after though

‘As I said before miss granger; a lot has changed in your five year absences” professor Snape said “I now have time to enjoy certain…pleasures of life”

      Hermione couldn’t help but wonder what other pleasures the potions master enjoyed but didn’t voice it. She looked at all the couples that were on the dance floor and couldn’t help but feel a pang of jealousy that she had no one special in her life.

“Miss Granger, do you perhaps want to dance” Snape asked interrupting her thoughts

“You want to dance with me?” Hermione asked surprised

“I understand if you don’t want to…after all, I am your old professor” he said

‘You’re not old! And I would love to dance with you; you just took me by surprise” Hermione explained

      Snape escorted Hermione to the dance floor where a slow paced dance song was playing. Hermione didn’t really know how to react; wondering if Snape was drunk and that was the main reason behind this dancing but quickly dismissed it due to the fact that he was lucid in their conversation. Their bodies fell into a rhythm with each other and the music. Hermione felt Snape’s hands hold her waist and she immediately felt his erection grounding against her ass. Did I cause him to become aroused or was it the woman he was dancing with before? Hermione thought

       After dancing to two more songs, they left the dance floor.

‘There you guys are! I’ve been looking for you; I think it’s time we get back home” Draco said bursting through a crowd of people

‘Another time then Hermione” Snape said kissing her had before disappearing

        Hermione was flustered by the time they reached the manor and easily fell into a peaceful sleep.
