Disclaimer: I do not own anything from Harry Potter. I don't make any money from this fanfic. |
A/N: Sorry it took so long to update. Kind of lost my job, but on the plus side, I worked on getting my own novel published. It will be up for sale soon. I do have plans on advertising on the AFF site, should be soon if anyone is interested. However, I do plan on working more on my fanfics, now that I have one novel done and some time on my hands. Thanks for taking the time to read and please review.
A few things to be aware of:
Each chapter will state who she is being paired with. The name will be in ( ). So the main pairing will be Luna with said male. Also some of these may end up being a two-shot or maybe in a three-shot. If that is the case then the chapters will ALL be titled the same. Example: Luna's Choice Pt.1, Luna's Choice Pt. 2 or so on. If the chapters are connected then they will share the same title
The Prompt was #2. Family
The pairing is (Sirius/Luna/Remus) and is the third and final part of Worth Waiting
Warnings: Language, Mild-Violence, Sexual Situations, Oral and Threesome
"Fuck woman, will you stop!" Sirius mashed his teeth together as the small form continued to plague him with meaningless torture. Did she have any idea what she was putting him through? What did she want from him? How much more could he withstand? He may be a hardened ex-criminal but he was still a bloody man. One that could only handle so much before being pushed to his breaking point. His fingers were already clenched in a deadly fist as she ignored his pleading. Another few minutes of this and he wouldn’t be held accountable for how it turned out. "Please, Luna, will you stop for a minute!"
"No, you promised, so hush." She giggled at the desperate moan coming from behind her back. This was her night, he had promised. He had kept his word and made her a wonderful dinner, followed by a pleasant back massage. This was the part of the night she’d been waiting for. Even as she rotated her hips to warrant the friction she wanted, the man released a howl resembling pain. So far the position was everything Ginny had promised. It was getting difficult to perform missionary due to her paranoid husband worrying about putting too much pressure on her fragile cargo. The last time he had put her on her hands and knees she’d been too sore the next day. It allowed him to go in too far and having him hitting her cervix at this point in her pregnancy didn’t keep the sex as pleasurable. Her best friend had suggested this position and how she should even work her hips. The sordid instructions had seemed foolish at first but from the sounds the gaping Black was making she wasn’t the only one enjoying it.
She was killing him! Sirius rolled his eyes as she started grinding into him harder. Wasn’t it enough that she had the luscious pale arse right in view? Gods, the way she was rotating and riding, he was going to explode and it wasn’t even a fast tempo. Why had he made the promise to keep his hands to himself? Couldn’t he just move a little? The last thing he wanted was to leave his wife unsatisfied but Merlin’s balls, he was going to lose it. It’d been over a week since last time and he needed release. "Shite, I’m going to cum."
So was she. Well, she was. It was even better as she rocked over him finally giving him the motion he had been begging for. He broke a rule by starting to lift his hips off of the mattress and begin driving into her. She was shocked that he had managed to hold out for so long. The throbbing of her own orgasm was accompanied by his and the distorted mewling of a dying dog. Wait, that was him too.
Finally sated and unable to move, Sirius merely lifted his left hand off of the mattress, extending it in invitation. The smirk spread into a smile as she crawled on all fours to lay down beside him. He’d make sure to keep a perfect memory of this moment so he could recall it the next time someone would once again ask, what someone innocent and sweet like Luna would want with a hardened and annoying ex-con. It didn’t matter how much time had passed since he was acquitted, most still saw him for what he had once been. If only those people were privileged to the information that his sweet, innocent wife had a mean streak. Like making him go without it for a week. True, he had been the one to get upset and say they shouldn’t be doing it so close. In approximately three weeks he’d be a father. Last week he had managed to hit her cervix and she had cried out in pain so he had overreacted a bit. She had taken offense when he said he wouldn’t touch her again. Instead of crying or pouting, she had acted like a true Slytherin. A week of watching her walking around in skimpy clothing. Coming to bed to a nude wife that wouldn’t let him so much as put a hand on her shoulder. Then two nights ago she had done the unthinkable and took care of herself right next to him. She had only laughed at his displeasure when he stormed out of the bedroom. What could he do but beg her forgiveness the next morning? She had accepted the apology with a promise of giving her what she wanted. It had been simple to agree to the dinner and the massage. What he had balked at was her demand that during he would not be allowed to touch or move while being intimate.
"You moved," she poked him in the side causing him to chuckle. She wasn’t angry but it was fun to give him lip. Her smile slipped momentarily as the twinge of pain centered in her lower back. It had been happening all damn day. The healer assured her than in the last few weeks she’d start feeling them, more as she got closer. She had a lot of pressure on her back and bladder. Not wanting to cancel their plans for the evening, she had let it slip into the back of her mind. If she so much as got a hair out of place now he would panic and want to rush her to the healer. "Are we still planning on going to Dora’s party?"
"Hm, if you’d like." He didn’t want to but he wasn’t going to deny her. Luna liked his cousin so he couldn’t give his wife a reason not to attend. She was well aware of Remus knowing about her secret but he had never told her to what extent their conversation had taken. The man had only been around them once more since he’d learned of their marriage. His old friend had been very polite and had spoken to them briefly while shopping. The birthday party was only two weeks away. He had tried to use how close she was to delivery to stay away but being set in her mind, Luna wasn’t the type to give in easily. "Have you figured out what you want to get her?"
"I was thinking about a pair of boots. I know she likes them and I heard her speaking to Molly about a pair that she spotted but couldn’t afford with just their one income. Ginny agreed to go shopping with me on Friday." There was that twinge again. The pressure upon her bladder was also becoming unbearable. Why was it that whenever she got comfortable and warm her damn bladder would decide it was full? Going to the loo meant leaving the comfortable spot she was in. She’d have to release her own personal teddy bear. She was just more content to lie in bed and savor the warmth. That wasn’t warm, it was scolding hot and it was wet. In a panic she scooted away and sat up. Had she just released her bladder? How embarrassing. As she adjusted her position more of the fluid ran down the crack of her naked bottom. How could she use the loo without going to it? She wasn’t, now that she focused the source felt more like it was coming from there, "Shite, I’m leaking."
"What?" He’d been about to doze off. He was used to her getting up frequently to make a trip to the loo. Knowing that she’d immediately return to his side, having her heat leave wasn’t too alarming. His eyes opened hearing the stress and upset in her voice. Getting up on his elbows, Sirius gazed at the bare back. A pale hand came over to extend to his face. The fingers were trembling and glistening. "What’s wrong?"
"I think it broke," it was still trickling out. Luna saw the confusion clear, to be replaced by panic. The bed dipped as he scrabbled and almost tripping in his haste. They had discussed what to do when it came about. Molly had told her there was a chance she’d deliver early due to carrying more than one. Would her babies be okay if they came this soon? It didn’t seem like they were going to be given a choice in the matter. "Go, I’ll just wait here. I’m sure I’ll be okay for a while. Just hurry and don’t take too long."
"Are you sure? I’ll only be gone for a few minutes. I swear I’ll be right back." Sirius wasn’t so sure about leaving her alone but he didn’t want to fucking owl the Weasley Matriarch. Molly had offered to deliver his children when Luna had confessed that she was really nervous about having a strange man looking at that part of her anatomy. Having the healer doing charms and scans wasn’t the same as him getting up close and personal with his wife’s cunny. The woman had given birth to an entire Quidditch team so he was more than accepting of the offer. There was a chance he’d be waking them but he wasn’t going to risk waiting. "Be right back."
Luna managed to reach over to grab the pink cotton robe she always kept beside the bed. There were a few things she could do before the others arrived. Ginny was due any day now so the couple was staying at the Burrow. Molly wanted her daughter close for the occasion. It shouldn’t take him too long to floo over and get them. Ignoring the twinge that started in her back to make tracks to the front of her stomach she flicked her wand to clean what had already landed on the expensive sheets. "Kreacher!"
The house elf popped into the room wearing a sparkling white cotton sack hanging loosely on his shoulder. Luna had informed him one day that being a Black house elf he shouldn’t be seen in those disgusting rags. Knowing he would not accept clothing, she had found a nice pillow case to use. She had told him that she didn’t like the color and to either throw it away or do something useful with it. "What can Kreacher do for Lady Black?"
It was still strange to be called by the title. "I need you to quickly bring me as many fresh towels as you can." Before she wet the floor. Another squishy bout of steaming liquid had just escaped and was running down her left thigh. It wasn’t the bucket emptying explosion like she had always imagined. Seconds after the elf disappeared he was back with an armful of multi-colored towels. With a flick of her wand she placed several in the center of the bed. "The rest can be left on the dresser. Also, Molly and Ginny will be here soon. I’m sure they’ll be tired when he wakes them. Would you mind making up some coffee?"
Without a word, she found herself alone. Wanting to get comfortable she sat back down on the plush towels. What was taking so long? Another pain had her clenching the sheets as the minutes ticked by. How much more of the icky stuff did she have in there? Fluffing the pillows she placed a hand on her stomach. Soon she’d be able to hold them.
"We got this!" The voice came from the other side of the door. A second later, in came a smiling Ginny and a flushed Molly. The older woman huffed when the fist hit the wood in anger. Well, he could be cranky all he wanted. Birthing was women’s business. The last thing they needed in the room was an excited, hysterical male. Luna needed to be calm and patient for the delivery. "Ginny ward the door so no one else can enter it."
"Right," Ginny almost laughed hearing the man swearing on the other side. She’d let her father and Harry deal with that. The man wasn’t needed for this, he’d already done his part. Besides, her mum knew what to do. "Should I also put up a silencing charm?"
"No! It’s best if he hears what she’s forced to endure. If only to ensure he does the responsible thing so she isn’t having another in a year’s time." Molly hoped that would curb the man’s appetite. Luna was too young to be saddled with too many kids. She was an exception, she had always wanted a large family and was from breeding stock. Luna’s mother had only birthed one child due to complications. One pregnancy this year was more than enough. This would give the man something to think about the next time he got randy. "How are you feeling, Luna dear?"
"I’d like to say alright but I just had another one. I thought they were supposed to be minutes apart." She cringed as another one sliced all around her body. They weren’t regular, that one had been several seconds after the other. Taking a calming breath, she waited to see if another would come immediately.
"Every delivery is different. Some take hours after the first pain, others don’t last long after your bag has broken. Sirius tells us that yours has. Why don’t you lay back and I’ll exam you." Molly took a seat next to the blonde. She knew of the muggle way and was above doing something so callous. No woman that was in labor wanted someone poking around in their nether regions. A quick charm showed that it had started. There wasn’t much fluid left in the sack containing the two. "Alright, we are going to set up. Soon enough the pains will become constant and back to back. When that happens it’ll be almost time."
Wasn’t it almost time now? She didn’t like the sensation going through her bottom half. How much worse could it get? Why wouldn’t they let Sirius back in? She could hear him shouting on the other side to be let back in. Did she really want him to see her like this? Sweat was already starting to bead along her temples as the next pain took her completely by surprise. All the others had been light twinges, a dull pain. This one came so hard she couldn’t stop the scream.
"Oh boy!" Ginny took a step back at the look of pain. How bad did it feel? Maybe she shouldn’t be watching this. The voice of Harry could be heard on the other side trying to assure an irritated Black that his wife was in good hands. Not wanting to appear nervous as well, she went to work setting the heated water, scissors, clothes, and extra towels on a stand next to the bed. A skittish Kreacher popped in long enough to bring them a tray with snacks and coffee before leaving. The poor elf had looked half out of his wits.
"Remember to breathe," Molly coached as the girl grunted in pain. She didn’t want to tell the girl that it was better this way. The faster and harder the labor, the sooner it was over. In her opinion this kind was a lot better than a long and drawn out birth. As true as this may be the whimpering girl did not want to hear this small piece of information. Almost an hour had gone by since their arrival. It made her wonder just how long the girl had been having distant pain. She almost covered her ears at the next piercing scream that echoed around the room.
No way! She wasn’t going through that. Ginny placed a hand on her own stomach as she watched the blonde scream like she was having a forbidden done to her. The blonde only stopped long enough to take in a deep breath before releasing another glass shattering scream. The noise didn’t help with the pounding on the door. Did it hurt that bad? She knew for a fact that Luna hadn’t cried or screamed when being tortured by Bellatrix. Fuck this, Harry could have the babies. She wasn’t going to do it, she’d have her mum write a note.
"Luna, listen to me, try to take a deep breath and calm yourself. I know it hurts but it’ll be over soon." Molly waved Ginny over to bring her another towel. Gently, she moved the robe out of the way and got the moaning girl to open herself. She cast a quick cleaning charm before glancing at her own child. "Don’t you dare faint on me Ginerva Weasley Potter. If you want to be useful hold her hand or something."
Luna would have rolled her eyes if not for the pain. What could Ginny do to possibly make her feel better? She wanted her husband, this was his damn fault! She wanted him in here so she could curse him with an Unforgivable. See how he liked it. She was positive they were regular by now. Almost as soon as one ended another was slamming into her. It was a nice sentiment to have her best friend holding her hand and trying to coax her through it. It hurt so damn much and she was sure she had to go to the loo. "I need to use the loo."
Ginny giggled hearing the soft plea. She knew what that meant. Her mum had already gone into the description of all of her labors. The pressure on the bowels was the indication that it was time to push. Unfortunately most of the time the mother ended up going as well. "That means it’s time to push. You’re almost done."
No, she seriously had to take one. Luna held her breath at the next pain and the urge to bear down became too strong. If they wouldn’t let her hit the loo then she’d just shite with the older woman watching.
"Good, you’re doing great. As soon as you feel the next contraction I want you to bear down again." Molly coached as best as she could hearing the poor girl begin to grunt. The best way to deal with the contractions was to focus on pushing. Several more contractions passed before she could make out any progress. With the next the baby was crowning. The stark contrast of black against the pale skin made her want to cry out in joy. "The baby is crowning, just one more push for this one."
Ginny released the hand to get up to fetch what was needed and placed it next to the trembling leg. Curious, she looked to see what was going on. It looked like Luna was blowing a hairy bubble. The blonde screamed again and in a slick, sounding motion the bubble turned into the face and torso of a oozing, wrinkled boy. "It’s the boy."
Molly quickly severed the cord and handed the baby to her daughter. It took only a few minutes for the afterbirth to be disposed of. Almost as soon as that was done the blonde began to pant in earnest again. "Just one more. You can do this."
No, she couldn’t. She was tired and having that one had burned. It felt like her cunny was on fire as he came out. It wasn’t as bad as the pains but she wasn’t sure if she could do it again. The need to bear down came again. Exhausted and ready for it to all end, she pushed. It took only several tries before she got to hear the weak cry of her daughter. Unable to move she was more than content to watch as Molly took this one over to where Ginny was busy cleaning up the first.
"Bring them when you’re done." Molly walked back over to the drowsy girl. She firmly believed in having both mother and baby clean before allowing anyone else in the room. After disposing of all the afterbirth, she quickly cleaned up the blonde and placed a bleeding pad beneath her. By this time Ginny brought the girl over to place her in Luna’s arms. "I’ll just go let the impatient father in."
~
The hesitant whimper managed to stir him. Sirius rolled over knowing what he’d find. Coming to sit back down on the bed was a stunning blonde and his daughter was just as beautiful. The two month old infant made an irked noise before finally latching onto breakfast. If only he could get his breakfast so easily.
"Sorry, we didn’t mean to wake you." Luna sighed as the fingers trailed down the side of her face to escort some hair behind her ear. She had hoped to get Catherine calmed before she managed to wake up the sleeping Auror. He had offered to remain home with her but she refused to allow it. He loved his job and she was more than capable of taking care of the twins. He did more than enough when he was home. She knew all about his entrapment in this place after his escape. Asking him to remain home all the time would surely drive him mad. "I think she has finally got this ‘I come first’ routine down. This is the third morning she’s woken up before him to eat."
"Of course, she’s brilliant like her mum. Any intelligent woman knows to get to the table before a Black or she’ll end up with leftovers." Sirius sat up hearing their son beginning to squirm. He couldn’t imagine how she handled it on a daily basis. He refused to believe that his house elf was any sort of help despite his wife’s protests. Hearing the fierce cry coming from the crib he scooted off of the mattress in a vain attempt to give his lovely ladies time to finish up. It still amazed him that his son looked exactly like him but his daughter resembled their mum with the exception of the hair.
Luna laughed as a tiny fist swung out to hit the stubbly chin. Were all Black men impatient? The two came to sit down next to her. Christopher stopped crying hearing the soft soothing voice of his father. That alone let her know that her husband was doing his share. Both children seemed to recognize the sound of his voice. Hers usually had a more soothing effect but they still acknowledged him. "While I accept that he may end up with your table manners, I will not allow him to behave like you. He will be brought up as a respectable wizard."
"I was respectable," Sirius gasped at the nerve of her. How dare she! There was nothing wrong with having a bit of fun. Okay, maybe he had overdone things once or twice but he wouldn’t have his son growing up to be a stiff either. To confirm he wasn’t the only one behind the idea, he looked down at the infant he had cradled in his arms. "Yes, Daddy was very respectable. I’ll have you know that I was also well loved. Except by one person. There was this finicky, picky, uptight, know-it-all blonde that wouldn’t give me the time of day. That’s right, she was extremely cruel to your poor dad. However, we Blacks never give up a fight. This is something you’ll learn when you find a plump bird."
"Hey! Save that kind of talk for when he’s out of diapers." Luna handed over the content baby to retrieve the one starting to fidget. Her son was more than happy to swap spots. She had fallen asleep without preparing any bottles. It had taken eight weeks but she had gotten the okay from the healer to have relations once more. At the news her dear deprived husband had forgone dinner to take them to the bedroom.
Fine, he’d wait to tell his children all about the beautiful witch he had waited two decades for. For now he was content to pat his daughter while she fed his demanding son. What more could he want out of life? Not only was his home life going exceedingly well but he’d been offered a new position yesterday. He hadn’t told her about it because he was still debating if he should take it. Kingsley was the new Minister and had asked if he’d like to assist him. From what he’d heard the man was swamped with all the new laws trying to go in effect and meetings. It would be more stressful but he’d be in less danger on a daily basis. The last thing he wanted was for him to end up at the wrong end of a curse and leave his Luna alone to raise the twins. He didn’t want to lose his family or to ever leave them. There was nothing that he’d allow to come between them.

"Is that tasty?" Remus tried not to smile as the two year old toddler stopped to contemplate the question. The blocks couldn’t taste that good but it didn’t stop his son from shrugging and cramming it back in his mouth. Dinner would be served in an hour. It was already in the oven cooking slowly. Dora should be home soon. It was the only routine thing that gave him something to focus on. Every morning he woke up to make breakfast. Then he woke up Teddy, changed him and then fed him. As some point Dora would wake and quickly eat before giving their son a kiss on the head before departing. Remus wasn’t even sure if his wife realized that it had been months since she had bothered to grace him with a goodbye kiss. After breakfast he’d put Teddy in the playpen in order to do some daily chores. At noon they’d share lunch together before a nap. When they woke, he’d allow his son to play again while he did some reading.
"Da, Da, I go potty." Teddy motioned to the direction of the potty.
"Right," Remus quickly moved to pick up the toddler to make it to the loo. His son had a habit of waiting to say something at the last moment. This time they made it in time. He heard the floo flare to life as the boy grunted. That had to be his wife coming home from another long day at work. She’d come home, eat dinner, talk about her day, shower, play with Teddy for a bit and then go to sleep. Remus wasn’t the type to make demands despite it being nine months since they had done anything. "We are in here."
"Alright, I’m going to fix us some tea."
That was different. Remus wrinkled his nose as he allowed his son to manage cleaning up on his own. The independent streak was something he was familiar with. It took another four minutes to get rid of the mess and allow the toddler to do something resembling washing his hands. They were both partially wet when they were done. Casting a quick drying spell he strolled back out into the living area to find that his wife was already sitting next to the couch. "Dinner should be ready soon."
"Great, I see he’s been chewing again." Nymphadora Tonks almost cringed seeing the soft smile gracing the scarred face. She had to do this. It had taken all day to work up the courage to come home and see this done. This was the best for all of them. She took a seat while her husband put their son back down next to his tower of gnawed on blocks. He had to know something was wrong, he was just too kind to bring it up. He was the type of man that would not fight in front of their child. He readily accepted the cup. If he noticed how badly her hands were shaking he didn’t speak of it. "We need to talk."
"Alright," what about? He had several assumptions but would allow her to lead off the conversation. It could be about their lack of a sex life. Perhaps it had something to do about why she often stayed late at work. Or was it the reason she smelt strongly of wood and ginger? It wasn’t the first time she had arrived home with the scent clinging to her skin. "Do I need to put Teddy in his room?"
"No, I’d like to believe we can discuss this in an adult manner." Dora took a sip of the tea in hopes that he wouldn’t be too upset. She had given this a lot of thought. "You know when I first started pursuing you, I wanted to believe that no matter who she was I’d eventually get you to come around. For a while I thought it was happening. It never did, did it?" She held out a hand to stop him from speaking. "It’s okay. You don’t have anything to apologize for, I do. I wanted to believe that I could make you love me more. That was my first mistake. My second was continuing on with this marriage after she came back. No, I don’t know who she is yet but I’m not blind either. I noticed the change in you over a year ago. Not only your normal behavior has changed but your behavior close to the full moon. My third mistake was not ending things when I realized that I too love another."
What? It was shocking to hear his wife claim to realize that he was pining after another woman but to hear her claim to love another had his jaw dropping. For so long she had sworn to be completely in love with him. Had that been a lie? "Wood and ginger, you were just with him, weren’t you?"
"Yes but not like that. I’ll make a wizarding oath that I have been completely faithful. We haven’t allowed things to continue to that point. He knows that I am married and respects that. However, we have admitted our feelings to each other and I realize that to continue on with this marriage will not make either of us happy. I don’t think it’d be right to allow our son to grow up in an environment with two parents that clearly do not love each other. I do love you but not in the way a woman should love her husband. And I don’t think you have ever loved me in that context."
"You’re right and that was my mistake." Remus ran a hand through his hair. She was right, he had never been in love with her. He’d lost his heart years ago and had never reclaimed it. She had been someone to fill the emptiness in his life. "Despite that, I don’t regret it. You were a wonderful wife and you gave me a son."
"I don’t either but it’s time to end it. I have a chance at true happiness," she had thought about this solution until she was sure it was the correct one. "I’m going to file for a dissolvement of our marriage in the morning. Also, I think it’s best if Teddy remained with you. He’s use to you being the constant parent and I still have my work. However, I would still like to set up some form of schedule to spend some days with him."
"That’s fine," as long as he didn’t lose his son. He’d have to think about how he’d be able to support them but for now he was set for a few months. The next few days would be spent digesting and accepting that his marriage was over. "I’m sorry it turned out this way."
"I’m not. Before I go, I have one question." Dora had promised Kingsley she’d return with news soon. "Am I correct in believing that whomever she is, she is back in your life?"
"Not in the sense that you are referring to. I did see her again, she came back but she’s already with someone else. There is nothing I can do to change that." He already knew the news of their children being born healthy and whole. He was happy for them. While he was still angry at his old friend he would never wish anything unfortunate on her or her children. Luna was innocent in all of this. She had no idea that they would fight like two dogs with a bone if it came down to it. "She is still lost."
"Is she? Are you ready to accept that? I’ve lived in this woman’s shadow for years, so I don’t think you’re going to be able to accept that in the end." Dora reached out to touch the hint of stubble on his chin. "I know that the only reason you haven’t pursued the issue is because of me and Teddy, am I wrong?"
"No," she wasn’t. The idea had crossed his mind many times as he lie awake in bed. Remus knew he’d never forgive himself if he were dishonest with his wife. She deserved more and better. Love for her as a friend and the love for his son had kept him from allowing the thought to take root. He did want to do something about it. Sirius had known how he felt but hadn’t told him the truth. If he had known that there was a chance that the child he once taught would one day become the witch he had loved, he would have waited for that time to come. Just as the Black heir had done. All those years he’d spent alone, he had often wondered where she was and if she ever regretted how they had parted. What she’d do if they ever met again. Those answers had been taken from him by his friend.
"Then don’t let us stop you from finding happiness. You were always too hard on yourself," Dora stood wanting to let her love know that everything was going to alright. Kingsley had been beside himself believing he was asking too much of her. She would always love Remus but they weren’t meant to be together. "I’ll make special arrangements to get Teddy during your transformations. I’ll be in touch. And Remus, don’t ever feel guilty about trying to be with the one you love."
~
Luna wiped her hands on the apron while trying to keep the laughter from erupting from her mouth. It was endearing to watch the house elf jumping up and down to entertain the giggling babies. They were both eight months old and capable of sitting up without any assistance. Currently they were in the high chairs after being fed applesauce. She had asked Kreacher to keep an eye on them while she finished washing the dishes. Tonight dinner had been a lonesome event. Sirius had sent an owl explaining that he had been forced to travel with the Minister to Romania to handle a classified problem. Positive he would tell her all about it once he came home, she had eaten a sandwich in silence.
Actually, her mind had been going a thousand miles a minute. A part of her was concerned of her husband’s behavior of late. Their marriage was still wonderful, except he was becoming more paranoid over how she spent her time. Whenever she hinted about having a visitor, he would demand who. Or if she said she was going out, he wanted to know where. Ginny said it had something to do with him finally realizing that she was a young and beautiful witch and he was an old man.
The only person she hadn’t visited recently was Dora and Lupin. Well, Dora. She didn’t have a reason to visit her old professor. His ex-wife was another matter. They were still on speaking terms because the Auror worked with Sirius and family was family. It was sad to think on how the two had split. The werewolf was probably beside himself with grief knowing that the woman he loved was with another. No one bothered to speak of it. The Auror claimed that they had parted ways as friends and that there was no hard feelings.
The flapping of wings echoed down the hall before a snowy white owl landed on the chair closest to her. The letter was white with the word URGENT floating on the envelope. Wondering who it could be from, she retrieved it from the animal. Maybe it was from Sirius. Her stomach clenched thinking something may have happened to him. She yanked the parchment out and opened it to see a sloppy and hastily written later.
Luna, I know this is coming at a short notice but I have no recourse but to ask you to do a favor for me. As you know recently I have made arrangements to always collect Teddy two days prior to Remus’ situation. However, I am stuck in Romania along with the Minister and cannot depart for some time. Yesterday, I wrote to Harry and Ginny asking if one of them could perhaps go pick him up and keep him until I return. However, I received a letter from Ginny saying that she and James are ill so she will not be able to do as I asked. Remus has already owled asking when I’ll be arriving. I know this isn’t giving you much notice to prepare but I have no one else to turn to. I would ask Molly but Teddy is more fond of you. Please, head over and collect him before tonight. The wards should allow you access since you are family through Sirius. Thanks, Dora.
Tonight was the full moon. Which meant someone had to go collect the toddler before the moon rose. She didn’t think Remus would hurt his son but a werewolf wasn’t something a little boy needed to be forced to see. If Remus locked himself up to be safe then no one would be there to tend to the kid. She really didn’t have a choice. What could it hurt? She quickly penned a reply to give the waiting owl. "Kreacher, I need to run an errand real quick. Could you see that they are changed and put in their cribs?"
"Yessus, Lady Black. Kreacher will tend to the little Blacks whiles she is gone."
"I shouldn’t be gone too long." She took off the apron and washed her hands. Going by floo would be the quickest way. Remus should have everything ready to go. A quick pickup and she should be back in less than half an hour.
~
Remus wanted to curse as the floo flared to life. It was about damn time his ex decided to stop fucking the Minister and get their son. He was getting anxious and irritated as the seconds went by. Teddy was sleeping soundly for his nap. As soon as either Dora or Ginny came to collect the boy, he was going to lock himself up. He’d already taken his potion but it wasn’t helping. It hadn’t helped last month when he had almost gotten free. The problem was he wasn’t losing touch with his human mind while transformed. The problem was that his human mind and that of Moony were in complete fucking agreement. It was hard to ignore his baser instincts when both minds were telling him to break out and find the girl.
Find her and then rip Black’s throat out. Why had he bothered to send a letter? What he should have done was immediately floo to Grimmauld Place and speak to her when he knew the Auror to be gone. Instead he had tried to be courteous and pen a letter asking the girl if they could speak to one another. The reply he had received had come from Sirius, not Luna. The dog had instructed him to recall just who she was married to and not to try and contact her again. The next few owls had been returned unopened and his owl singed. Not only did Black ward any owls but he was no longer able to floo there. The home was no longer accessible either.
For the last few weeks he’d been at a loss on how to contact her. His former friend had made it rather difficult, almost impossible. He was tempted to contact Ginny and tell her to relay the message but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to involve others. Ginny was married to Harry and Harry was Sirius’ godson. He didn’t want to risk causing a huge family dispute if she didn’t want to talk to him. So here he was, waiting for another full moon to pass. He’d have to sooth his beast by promising to find some way to get near her.
The floo flared to life causing him to look up at his company. He was fully expecting his ex or maybe Ginny. Seeing the long blonde hair framing the angelic face he’d just been longing for step out in a rush caused his breath to catch and his blood to heat. Not to mention something inside him came to life as she spotted him on the sofa. The girl was wearing a pair of cut off denim shorts, a purple cotton shirt and sandals.
"Oh, there you are." Luna gave him a faint smile as he looked up at her entrance. She was probably the last person he wanted to see at the moment. "Sorry, for coming unannounced but Dora asked me to collect Teddy. She’s stuck in Romania and Ginny is sick. If you don’t mind I’ll be glad to keep him for a bit."
Dora had sent her? Was his ex stupid or insane? He’d always believed her to be a tad touched in the head but now she was confirming it. The damn witch knew about this! Last month she had demanded to know why he was so damn pissed off at the world, so he had broken down and told her everything. How the accident had actually sent Luna back where he’d met her the first time. How Sirius had plotted to make sure that he didn’t get a chance to correct his worst mistake. How that bastard cousin of hers was preventing him from so much as speaking to Luna. Why would Dora ask Luna of all people to come over here so close to the full moon? Dora knew how it affected him, especially now that he knew where Luna was. "Where is Sirius?"
"In Romania along with Dora. They haven’t told me what’s going on but I’m sure it’s really important if she can’t make it to get Teddy." Luna didn’t want the man thinking the woman was a bad mother or forgetful. She really had no problem with watching the toddler for a day or two. She could already see that he was stressed out and feeling the effects of the upcoming night. She wasn’t sure but she’d say he also looked pissed or anxious or both. "Are you okay?"
"No, I’m not." He was glad his son was sleeping peacefully for a nap. "I think you should leave."
"Alright," she wanted to think his cold attitude had to do with the time of a month. He was anxious about the transformation. He probably wasn’t too sure about having her be the one to take his child. "Let me just grab Teddy, I see you already have his things packed."
The sweet scent tickled his nose. The heady aroma that had tempted him even while she’d been too young to realize how it made him feel. He needed her to leave. Minutes ago he’d been thinking of ways to get to her but now she was before him. She was standing in front of him and he was telling her to leave. If he allowed her to leave there was no telling how long it’d be before he got another chance to speak to her alone. "Luna?"
"Yes?" Did he need something else? Had he taken his potion? Did he need her to lock him in? He was starting to stand. Did he wish to talk? They had never really gotten around to speaking about the truth. She wasn’t sure what there would be to say on the matter. It wasn’t like they had been anything more than friends. They had never been a couple, so she wasn’t sure what would be the point in rehashing the past. Sure, she had cared for him, okay, she had been falling for him. His decision and her leaving had interfered with that. "Do you need me to do something before I leave?"
"I do," he walked over to stand in front of her. Looking down he could recall the one night he’d had her. She had willingly danced in his arms, she would have agreed to be with him in that moment. His insecurity and stupidity had cost him greatly. Or had it? She had left the next day. They wouldn’t have had a future back then anyways but he regretted allowing her to leave believing that she hadn’t meant anything to him. "Do you remember the day you left? The day we actually last spoke to one another?"
"Of course," she had never forgotten. Why did he want to know? Did he remember it? Did he want to apologize for being so crass? "If you are going to apologize then don’t, it’s in the past. You were being honest and I can appreciate that. Besides, I already knew at that time about your marriage. Honestly, I’m not sure what I was thinking. I knew you’d marry Dora one day and that I’d have to return home sooner or later."
"Maybe you were thinking the same thing I was." Had everything been against them, even then? He wasn’t sure if what he wanted was wise. It had been over two decades for him, two years for her. Was it possible for her to have any feelings for him? "Has Sirius ever spoke of the time after your departure?"
The time after her departure? When? Luna tried to think of it? Sirius had told her that he had thought of her all of the time when he was in prison. It was flattering to know that her husband had serious feelings for her, even back then. His feelings had apparently ran deeper for her back then than she had originally believed. Was he trying to tell her that Sirius had always had feelings for her? Or did he want to make sure she knew about Lily and James? "I’m sorry, how long after my departure and what are you getting at?"
"I’m saying that you should ask your ‘husband’ about the past. That you should ask him why he has been returning my owl, why he feels the need to make sure I haven’t been able to come within a mile of you." He knew it wasn’t exactly playing fair by telling her to ask her husband about their dirty laundry. Remus knew that what he told her could cause complications in the couple’s marriage. At the moment, he didn’t care. He felt like he had a right for his side to be known.
"What owls? Why would Sirius prevent you from coming near me?" Luna didn’t understand. Sirius had no reason to keep the man away from her. The two were still friends and the man had never been anything but polite to her. The few times she’d been in his company, Remus was always a gentleman. However, Sirius had been acting strange. Not really strange, just a bit possessive. But why? She had never given him a reason not to trust her. There was also the fact that Remus had been the one to end the relationship before it had a chance to be one. What reason would her husband have to reject any letters from his old friend?
If he only got one chance to tell her the truth, to tell her his side, he’d do it. As soon as Sirius realized that he’d been given this chance, the man would be more cautious than before. He closed the distance between them, coming to stand only an inch away. "Because he knows the truth. Sirius is a man that knows when to be cautious. He also is a man that has something to hide."
It sounded like he was implying that her husband was keeping something from her. Something that would make her angry. Like what? She couldn’t imagine what it could be. "Remus, I have the feeling that you are hinting that I should know something. Instead of insisting that I try to discover it, tell me."
"Fine," he would tell her. "I know that Sirius overheard the truth that day and he kept the truth to himself even after you left. What I’m sure he didn’t tell you is what happened when I returned to Hogwarts. I told Sirius over the holidays that I planned on reconciling with you on my return. Of course, I was led to believe that you had returned home. Your husband told me nothing as I planned for months to find you. I’m saying that I wanted to be with you, Luna. I never forgot you. I use to watch you in class, hating the fact that you greatly resembled someone I had once let go. I even spoke to Sirius about it when I saw you again at the Battle of the Ministry. I informed your husband at the time how I felt. I confided in him that I still had feelings for you after all that time. Sirius, he still told me nothing. He knew that you were the same Luna. That you would one day be the one to go back. Instead of telling me, he kept the truth to himself for one single reason; he wanted you for himself. The reason he, your husband, is now being so paranoid is because he is a smart man. He knows that the only reason that was keeping me from attempting to pursue you was my relationship with Dora."
"I don’t believe that." She couldn’t. Luna knew that Sirius had kept her secret, he had promised that he would. She wouldn’t be upset about that. But had Sirius known about this other declaration? Remus was suggesting that he had some kind of feelings for her back then and had decided to be with her, not knowing that she was leaving. Okay, so Remus had once had feelings for her. Why would Sirius still be worried? They were married. "I..I..mean, Sirius probably kept my true origins a secret because I asked him to."
"I’ll give him that. However, has he informed you once of how I felt before seducing you? Did he forget to inform you that he purposely influenced my relationship with Dora? That from the day he saw you again, he has done his best to ensure that I did not end up with you. I told him how seeing you again made me feel, instead of coming clean he continued to allow me to believe that you were lost. I would have waited for you, if I’d thought for one moment that it was possible." He would still wait for her.
She didn’t understand. Luna wasn’t sure what to say. When she had stepped inside, the last thing she was expecting was some long overdue declaration of feelings. It was sweet to know that he had actually cared for her. She wasn’t sure what to make of everything else. He was saying that Sirius had more or less orchestrated things to ensure she ended up with him. Why would Sirius do that? How could the man have known they’d she’d end up pregnant? That part couldn’t have been planned. Could she be angry that Sirius had been a little underhanded and disregarded his friends feelings to pursue her? It was a little cruel to do it to a friend, but he hadn’t really done anything to manipulating her feelings. It would have been nice to know the truth two years ago, when she had returned. Sirius could have told her the truth back then but hadn’t. Then again, the first night they had slept together. He would have felt awkward discussing another man’s feelings for her after being intimate. "Remus, I’m not sure what to say. Why tell me now?"
Didn’t she get it? Did he need to put it simple? Sirius knew to keep her away because he wanted her. In the past they had shared only a kiss. He reached up with both hands, he cupped her face. Had Dora known what would come of sending the girl over? He wasn’t sure if it was confusion or fear that kept her in place, kept her from pulling away. He captured her mouth in a soft kiss. Moony was screaming for more, demanding that he take her into the bedroom.
Luna whimpered at the gentle touch. This was bad, so bad. She knew she should immediately pull away. It wasn’t right for her to allow him to continue. She should be angry that he would attempt anything when he knew that she was married. Yet, it was so tender. She swore she could actually feel the emotions he was trying to convey. Her face tilted, allowing him to pry inside. It was the same, as if time hadn’t passed them by. She felt the heat of his tongue, it was coaxing unexpected reactions. Knowing right from wrong didn’t do a damn thing to stop her body from reacting, nor her chest. Her heart was pounding.
Remus felt her resistance slipping. The fingers that had reached up to grip his shirt had loosened. The longer he plundered, she began to return the kiss. It was only a kiss, but it was more. If he still loved after twenty years, was it too much to hope that she could still possibly feel something after only two?
"Please, stop." Luna needed him to stop. It had to come to an end. She would hate herself if she ended up cheating on Sirius. Despite how they had come to be together, he was a wonderful man and didn’t deserve her confusion. "Please, I’m confused, right now."
"Alright, but answer me this. Do you still feel anything for me?" He couldn’t help but feel elated at the positive nod. "Then all I will ask from you is to ask him, why? Why didn’t he allow you the option to choose? See if he’d give you the chance to make the choice, the choice he took."
~
Luna leaned back in the chair as the fire crackled to life. Someone was coming through the floo. She knew who it was, she was expecting him. Two days ago Dora had stopped by to pick up Teddy. Luna had enjoyed having the little guy with her for a few hours. She had a feeling her own weren’t going to be that agreeable once they reached two. The other woman had taken one look at her and asked, ‘Did you listen to what he had to say?’ Luna had nodded but had been unable to answer. What could she say? It meant Dora knew. The woman had known and had sent her over there knowing Remus would take that chance to speak to her. So whose side was Dora on? Was the woman rooting for her cousin or her ex-husband? It was all so confusing.
What he said had her thinking. Who would she have chosen if she’d been granted that opportunity? How did she feel about both of them? Did Sirius trust her? The more she thought about it, the more she realized that this was the reason he was always asking where she was going and who was she spending time with. Was her husband worried that she’d leave him now that Remus was free? Did their time together not warrant her to some amount of trust? Course not, she didn’t deserve it.
Gods, she had enjoyed it. Having him kiss her again, it had felt so wonderful. The same feeling of getting lost had accompanied the kiss. Did that mean that she still had feelings for the werewolf? Did she want a chance to choose? She had a family to consider. She was sure she still had feelings for her former professor. Yet, she loved Sirius. She knew she did. The thought of not being with him made her sad. She loved her husband, so why did she still have lingering feelings for another man?
Sirius knew something was up the moment he stepped inside. His wife had always greeted him warmly upon arrival. Tonight she was staring off into the distance, lost in thought. He had feared something would happen when Dora had told him the NEXT DAY that she was leaving to pick Teddy up from HIS house. That fool woman had actually sent his wife over to that man’s house. He knew Luna would go without thinking. She wouldn’t have had any idea what she was walking into. He had postponed coming home, he was scared. Scared that he’d return to find that his wife had rekindled her relationship with the werewolf. Could he fault her if she had? "Luna?"
As confused as she was, she was happy to see him. Luna slid from her seat. He had been gone a week, she had missed him. He didn’t hesitate to open his arms as she walked over to him. How could she ask him what she needed to know? The strong embrace was different but just as wonderful. Was it possible to enjoy the touch of two different men?
"You spoke with him, didn’t you?" Sirius wanted to castrate that annoying man. Couldn’t his old friend just accept what was? He hadn’t exactly lied to his wife. He just didn’t inform her that his old friend still had feelings for her.
"I did," should she ask? "He told me that you knew that he still had feelings for me. That you purposely made sure he didn’t get another chance to be with me."
"I won’t deny that. I won’t lie to you, I never wanted to." Sirius felt her tense in his hold. "I never actually did. You never asked about him, so I didn’t offer up any information. Yes, I knew that there was a chance you’d choose to try to be with him again once you returned with your memories. Yes, I did my best to persuade him to give Dora a chance. I hoped that if he was in love and happily married then neither of you would have a reason to want to revisit the past. I too was waiting for you and kept silent for my own reasons. I will apologize for keeping things from you but I will not apologize for my reasons behind doing it."
"Sirius," she was flattered and it made her happy to know that he loved her. "I would like to think that no matter what had happened once I returned, that I would have made the correct choice. What upsets me is that you didn’t think you could offer me the chance to do so. If I was meant to be with you, then I will be. However, if I’m not then what you did, it isn’t right. Wouldn’t you rather know that I chose you despite his feelings, than to wonder whether or not if I would have rather preferred him? That’s why you don’t trust him, or me."
"I want to trust you, Love. I do." Sirius didn’t think she would cheat that easily. "I didn’t trust him. I’ve known him longer than you have. He wants you, Moony wants you and that is what scares me. He can be aggressive and determined, especially when he wants something. I don’t think he’d hurt you, but trying to seduce you is a different matter. I guess I didn’t want to risk allowing him to change your mind. The thought of losing you is unbearable."
She could understand what he was saying, that’s what scared her. After that kiss, she was sure he had a reason to be worried. If just kissing Remus made her feel that way, seduction wouldn’t be a far stretch. Her emotions were in turmoil. "He said for me to ask if you’d be willing to give me the chance to make the choice."
Sirius took a step back. He should have known. It wasn’t enough that Remus had to make him out to be the selfish arsehole. The man was going to force an issue. He knew why. The werewolf thought he could win if he were to step aside. "Is that what you want? Do you want a chance to be with him?"
Did she? She couldn’t say yes or no. All she knew was that she loved her husband and the situation with Remus had her curious. This was the reason she wished things had been done differently. That way she would already be firm in her choices. There would be no doubt where her feelings stood. "I don’t know."
"You don’t know?" Why couldn’t she say no? He didn’t want that answer. He wanted to hear her say that the past didn’t matter, that they were together now. Didn’t their marriage mean anything to her? He could feel his ire rising as she fidgeted. Luna never fidgeted. "What about our children? What about the time we’ve spent together? Are you telling me that the little crush you had on Moony overrides all of that? That whatever flickering emotion you once carried for him, is stronger than what you feel for me?"
"No, I’m not saying that." And she didn’t like being yelled at. She wasn’t in the wrong here. "If you are so damned concerned about what I may or may not feel, then you should have been honest with both of us. At least then you would have no doubts and neither would we. I won’t lie; I love you BUT I can’t say that I don’t still have some lingering feelings for him. What they are; I don’t know. Simply because I never got the chance to discover them."
And he didn’t want her to discover them. He wanted Remus Lupin out of their lives. As much as he loved and cherished his old friend, his family was his world. Yet, how could he be happy if he carried any doubts? How could he trust her completely if he never gave her the chance to come to him on her own? "I don’t want to lose you but I don’t want to keep you if you aren’t one-hundred percent sure that I’m the one you want to be with."
"Sirius?" It hurt, the defeated look in his eyes hurt. She just didn’t know what to do. Gods, she had missed him while he was gone but there was still that small nagging voice, rehashing what Remus had told her. If she were completely happy in her relationship, shouldn’t she be able to look her husband in the face and tell him so? But she couldn’t. Part of her was angry that he had taken that decision away from her. Her heart did want to know which one she would have fallen in love with, if given the opportunity.
"I’ll go pack my things." He was sure Harry would allow him a place to stay. The couple had gotten their own place over two months ago. "I’ll be with Harry, if you need me. I’m going to go speak to Moony. I know I can’t force you to chose right now. What I will do is grant you some freedom. If you wish to spend time with him, then do so. All I ask is that you allow me the chance to see you as well."
"Are you saying you’re willing to allow me to date you both?" She couldn’t believe she was hearing this. She didn’t want permission from her husband to see another man. Bloody Hell, she didn’t know what she wanted.
"More or less, that way when you return to me, I’ll know it’s what you want. That you did choose me over him." It had to be this way. He was scared that he was making a mistake but he’d rather do it this way than to have her cheat on him in the future, or come to hate him. "I’ll also want to be able to come visit the little ones whenever I have a day off."
"Are you sure?" Luna wasn’t sure if this would accomplish anything. Except make her miss her husband. She also knew that as long as Sirius remained in the picture, there was little chance of Remus being chosen in the end. She had already shared much more with the ex-con. She already knew that she loved him.
"No, but it’s the only way. Just promise me one more thing," he had to make one last request. "If by some chance you do get intimate with him; use a charm."
"Of course," Luna knew the reason for that. It was something she’d do anyways. If there was any intimacies, she’d use protection. She wouldn’t risk becoming pregnant for a man she wasn’t going to end up with. "Would you consider staying tonight? It’s late and the babies will want to see you. I want you to stay with me tonight."
~
Remus shifted uncomfortably in the plush seat. It felt strange to be sitting in man’s house after last week. His mind was still wrapping around the fact that Sirius had given him permission. He hadn’t thought the man’s guilt was that strong. Or was it because the arrogant Black thought he didn’t stand a chance at winning Luna? Remus knew he wasn’t as good looking as he used to be. He carried more scars; physical and emotional. However, he had changed for the better over the years.
"Here, I had to remake the pot. Kreacher dropped the last one," Luna wouldn’t add that the house elf had thrown it. The nagging elf would speak ill of her husband but didn’t care for the fact that another man was coming to the house to speak to Lady Black. It had been a bit rude of the house elf to eavesdrop on their conversation the other night, but Luna could understand his worries. Kreacher was currently upstairs keeping an eye on the twins.
"It’s fine," Remus didn’t care if they forwent the entire niceties. He was here to spend time with the woman. He couldn’t classify her as a girl, she was beyond that stage. Her breasts were fuller, there was more curve to the narrow hips and she smelled ripe. "Are you sure you are comfortable with this?"
"No, I’m not to be honest. I don’t know what to expect or do." Luna was beyond nervous. Sirius had finally left the house two days ago. His one night of staying had turned into a week. She couldn’t help it, she did want to be with her husband. It hurt to see his worry as he departed. "I think it’s great that we have the chance to have a much needed conversation. I’m just not sure about anything else. I’ll have to be honest; I do love Sirius. He’s been great to me and he’s given me two wonderful children. Yet, what feelings I did carry for you are still there somewhere. As I told Sirius, I’m not sure what they are since we never really got the chance to explore any kind of relationship."
@
"I understand. All I’m asking for is a chance to spend some time with you. I won’t force anything on you or ask you to give anything more than you are willing to give. I can’t say that I won’t try to advance beyond the point of friendship." He wanted more than friendship.
Luna had figured that part out. Sirius had warned her that Remus would most likely try to bed her. She wasn’t sure if she’d allow seduction until she made her choice. Not that she didn’t find him sexually appealing. He was taller, slimmer but had a wild aura about him. A girl would have to be insane not to be curious. "So, would you still have given me detention in second year, if you would have known the truth?"
"Yes," he had forgotten about that. It had been one of the few times he’d been forced to speak to her directly. He wasn’t sure what had begun the disagreement in his classroom. What he did know was that Luna’s text had somehow ended up meeting the back of young Langsteen’s scalp. The innocent looking girl hadn’t bothered to answer when he calmly asked if she had thrown it. Seeing as she wasn’t trying to deny the accusation, he had given her detention with Filch. He hadn’t wanted to do it but she’d left him no choice. His time had been taken by Harry’s training, so she’d been sent to the squib. "Didn’t you throw your book?"
"No, I used my wand." She smirked hearing him laugh. Most of the antics of others had been ignored while she was at school. They had been entitled to their own beliefs and opinions, as long as they didn’t speak ill of her father. The irritating boy had deserved the knock to the head.
"Attacking another student is against the rules, as you knew. What did Filch make you do?" He took a sip of the tea.
"Since you forgot to give him any instructions, he had me cleaning bathrooms, with a toothbrush." She was sure that evil, greasy man had caused the toilets to backup on purpose. Most of the bowls had been stained with shite. The penis pots had been the worse. Urine had stained the sides and near the drains. "He even took a piss in one before departing, he didn’t flush."
How horrid. The man didn’t look like he had ever learned the aspects of good hygiene. "I’m so sorry about that. I didn’t stop to think about what you’d have to do. I was a little preoccupied with training Harry at the time."
"It’s alright, I did as I was told. I also accio’ed your toothbrush when the other became too dirty." She would have used Filch’s, if she would have thought the man to actually own one. How he had expected her to get all that clean with just one was beyond her.
"Merlin’s balls, you did not?!" How could she? He put that in his mouth. Remus couldn’t remember that. How could she have gotten it back into his personal loo?
"I didn’t but the thought crossed my mind. Lucky for you Filch took my wand to make sure I didn’t use magic." In the end she had Moaning Myrtle go fetch her a clean toothbrush to use. Whose it had been, she had never asked. It had been someone from Slytherin. "Have you ever thought about teaching again? You were a wonderful professor."
"Thank you. I was offered a position but I didn’t want to leave Teddy." Now, he regretted not taking that position. If he would have, he would have been at the school during the accident. He would have been around her when she returned. Perhaps, he may have even gotten to her affections before Sirius. If only he had known.
"I understand. I’m glad that I decided to help Ginny. It gives me something to do and it allows me to keep the twins with me." The shop was getting on it’s feet, finally. It was starting to take up a good bit of her time.
"That’s good. Most of my spare time is spent reading." He had read everything in his library multiple times.
"You always did prefer to stretch out in front of the fireplace and read. I remember several times I debated on just sitting down on your legs. I would want to read a bit after dinner, only to find that you were once again occupying the best seat in the common room." She had never asked him to move. He had kept his face buried in a book while she sat across in another seat.
"You could have joined me instead of sitting across me and glaring." He had always waited to see if she’d ask him to move. The one time he’d thought to try to readjust to give her room, Peter had ran to sit next to him. Never again. He wasn’t going to move to allow the rat a good position in which to ogle the blonde.
"It only took me a minute to get over it, every time. I use to enjoy watching you gnaw on your bottom lip. If the text was boring you, you’d sigh every so often. I knew you were reading something good whenever you began gnawing and went hours without blinking." The werewolf stared intently as she poured herself another cup. "I use to love watching the many expressions that would cross your face. It was almost as entertaining as watching James and Lily."
"She missed you, Lily did. For weeks she told me it was my fault. Said if I hadn’t been a closed-off arse, you would have done something to remain." He had believed that also. "Even knowing that I couldn’t have prevented you from leaving, I still regret what I did. Maybe if I hadn’t, I would have been the one you trusted with the truth."
"It’s alright, things happened for a reason. You were scared, I knew it then. I’m just glad that you aren’t as hard on yourself. You’re a wonderful person," she knew that Tonks still had a lot to do with the fact. "Would you like to stay for dinner?"
~
Sirius ran a hand through his hair, the strands that came along with the sweating fingers fell to the floor unnoticed. He hated his bloody job. How much longer would he have to remain behind? Another week? Another month? How much more time was he going to give the wolf to steal his wife? If not for the promise he’d made Kingsley, he would have fled last night. He wanted to go home, he missed his family.
He’d been gone an entire month this time. A month away from his lovely wife. Each day that passed was hell. Getting an owl from her every day didn’t help. She would answer him honestly about how often his old friend would stop by to see her. Practically every day since he’s been gone. The man was making the most of the time. He didn’t want tell her not to speak to the man but he didn’t like the idea of his wife spending that much time with another wizard. Not just another wizard, one that had the potential of claiming her affections. How much more could he endure? Every night he went to bed, he wondered if she were going to bed alone.
He knew that if it ever happened, it would be the end of his marriage. If he could somehow overlook the idea of his wife being with another, Moony would never let it go. Luna had no idea just how possessive the werewolf could be. He’d never get her back if it came to that. But how could he stop it? He had promised her to give her time. If she chose another man, could he just walk away? No! He knew he wouldn’t be able to. Even if she were to suddenly decide she wanted Moony, he’d still fight for her. He wouldn’t give her up, not ever.
Sirius heard the clock chime the nine o’clock hour as the office door opened. What wonderful news would the minister bring? That it was going to take another year for the french diplomats to take their wands out of their arse?
"Good news, they signed." Kingsley was ecstatic. Finally, he could go home to his wife. He was tired of a cold bed. "We can leave within the hour. I would tell you to pack but," the Auror was already rushing out of the bloody office door. He wasn’t the only one impatient to leave the country.
~
"It’s getting late." Luna tried not to yawn hearing the clock chime ten times. The last few hours had flown by. It always did whenever they got into a heated discussion. This time it wasn’t her fault at all. Remus had brought over his books on Wood Fae. After dinner, they had sat down next to each other to read. "It’s a shame we’ll have to separate them."
"Yeah," Remus felt a pang of disappointment knowing he’d have to depart once more. He had promised not to press her for anything. Just being able to spend time in her company was enough. He had taken to bringing Teddy along three weeks ago. His son was bigger but seemed to get along great with the twins. He would hand them toys and tried to show them how to properly play with the blocks. The three had crashed on the blankets hours ago, with his son in the middle. "I could always crash on the couch, so we wouldn’t have to wake them."
"I wouldn’t feel right asking you to tend to them. She has the tenancy to get up at least once a night. I can’t ask you to wake up for them." Luna knew he wanted to remain longer. It was tempting, very tempting. She dearly missed her husband, in a lot of ways. The longer he was gone, the more she realized that she loved him with all that she was. However, the more time she spent with Remus Lupin, she remembered why she had liked him in the first place. Her fickle feminine emotions were attaching themselves onto a wizard that wasn’t her husband. She had never thought it possible to love two men at once. Her former professor was the man she had begun to fall in love with over two years ago and had completed the fall over the last month. Sirius was the man that had burrowed his way into her affections, he was attached so firmly, she didn’t think she had it in her to dig him out. Her husband was her heart, her rock and the father of her children. The love she felt for him was just as strong, just a little different. "If you want, you can still take the couch, so Teddy can remain asleep."
"Thanks, I appreciate it." It was a start. It meant she felt comfortable enough with him to allow him to remain the night. They were currently laying on the floor in front of the fire place on a blanket. The book was forgotten as he turned his head to look at her. So far she hadn’t spoken of her feelings, or on how things were going to proceed. Tonks had already returned home from their assignment, so it was only a matter of time before Sirius did. If he knew his old friend, the man would be over here as soon as possible.
"You’re welcome." Luna knew what he was going to do. The wizard had come close twice already this evening. She had to admire his restraint, he was doing his best not pressure her into anything physical. Several times she had watched him stand, only to notice the obvious tent in his pants. The lifting of the material from earlier today almost scared her. The werewolf had to be just as thick as her husband, if not longer.
Merlin, he wanted to kiss her. He leaned over to place a chaste kiss on her mouth. It was odd to do anything at this angle. It wasn’t much but it was sweet. As he meant to pull away and move back, she twisted until she came to lay on her back. Taking it as an indication that she would allow more, he moved to place himself over her top half. She gave half a smile, "so beautiful."
It was sweet that he thought so and flattering. Luna wasn’t sure if the heat in her cheeks was due to the compliment or the compromising position. His crotch was nowhere near dangerous territory but just having his face so close was intimidating. She knew what it was like to kiss him. He seemed determined to remind her. His mouth slammed down over hers. This kiss began heated, wild and brutal. With just the use of his tongue, he was putting forth obvious pent-up sexual frustration. She appreciated him being a gentleman, but knew it was hard on him.
"Fuck," he broke away. He was throbbing and about to forget his intentions. He wouldn’t try to seduce her until she knew what she wanted. "Maybe I should go home. As much as I want you, I don’t want there to be any regrets. Not between us."
How could she not love him? "Alright, I understand. Thank you. I’d still like for you to stay tonight. I’ll just take them upstairs. There are extra blankets in the closet hallway. You may also use the shower if you wish. If the couch gets too uncomfortable, you’re welcome to use one of the bedrooms." She paused as he helped her to stand. "First one up makes breakfast."
~
Sirius was so bloody tired . He had stopped in at Harry’s, just long enough to drop off his belongings. It was close to midnight but he wanted to see his family. It wouldn’t hurt to floo on over, just to take a look at them. If Luna was asleep he wouldn’t wake her. He needed to see her. He would have sent an owl but figured he’d just rush home.
The not so silent home greeted him as he stepped out of the floo. As soon as he got his bearings, he heard the noise coming from the kitchen. It wasn’t unusual for his wife to wake up in the middle of the night for something cold to drink. Assuming he’d be able to catch her awake, he immediately walked in that direction. He wanted to hug her, to hold her close. As weary as he was, his pace picked up with the thought of seeing her again. He stepped into the open doorway and that wasn’t his wife. His eyes widened seeing a very clear image of Remus Lupin. The werewolf turned, either hearing or smelling his presence. His anger flared seeing the other wizard standing in the kitchen in nothing but a pair of sweat pants. No shirt, no shoes, and the half-breed’s hair was still wet from the shower. "You bloody bastard."
Remus knew how it had to look. He had tried to get some sleep after Luna had retired for the night. With his son so close, he hadn’t thought it best to have a good wank. After an hour of a raging erection, he had taken up her offer of using the shower. It had been an ice cold one. He had gotten out, checked on Teddy, and then came to the kitchen to get something to drink. He had thought he heard something and had paused to see where it was coming from. He had smelt the man before hearing him. His fingers tightened around the glass as he was being spoken to. A part of him wanted to automatically proclaim his innocence. The part where Moony lingered, kept him silent. It gave him some satisfaction noticing the hurt and betrayal cross the aristocratic features. Let him experience what it felt like to be overlooked by a friend.
Sirius forgot about being a wizard as the seconds ticked by. The satisfied smirk sent him into a rage. It was between two males, as he rushed forward to slam his fist into the werewolf’s jaw. He knew the other man could have dodged, but the fight was on. There was a clatter of glass a second after a sharp pain erupted in the side of his face. His knee slammed into a rib, shame it hadn’t broken.
Remus grunted, that had hurt. For a spoiled, pansy-arse, the Black could deliver a solid hit. He brought his elbow down, slamming it into the wizard’s shoulder. As his old friend stumbled back, he rushed him. The table crashed and splintered beneath their weight. He had the advantage and managed a few good punches before a knee slammed into his dick. It almost got him off, almost. By now he was so pissed, he ignored the pain to strike another punch to the man’s jaw. "You fucking, lying, pathetic, conniving, arsehole."
"Stop!" Luna couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Even Kreacher was jumping up and down in a panic as the two men began to roll around like animals. Teddy had begun to scream. She didn’t think the little boy could understand what was going on exactly but he could hear the noise and his father’s angry voice. There was too many foul words being tossed around for any child’s ear. If they heard her, they didn’t do as she asked. Seeing her husband grab a vase to slam it into her company’s head was the last straw.
"Kreacher!" She couldn’t believe those two! She hated men! They were acting like idiots. She wasn’t going to put up with that. If they couldn’t act like civil wizards, she would leave. The house elf was screeching, saying something about that being in the family for over two centuries. "Kreacher! Go upstairs and pack a quick bag for the twins. Now, I want it done by the time I get up there."
"Yes, Missus."
She couldn’t believe Remus would fight with his son so close. No child needed to see his father bleeding or rolling on the floor. She didn’t care that it wasn’t her child. She quickly scooped up the screaming toddler, after tossing his few toys into the diaper bag. He calmed somewhat being held by someone he knew. There was a loud bang from the kitchen as she stormed up the stairs. They could blow up the fucking house for all she cared. The twins were up and whining by the time she entered the room. The elf had a bag ready to go. She draped the other on the other side. "Stand there, Teddy."
Luna scooped up both of her children and walked back over. "Teddy, hold onto Kreacher’s hand. Kreacher, I want you to take me and the children to the Burrow. Is that understood? Then after you drop us off, I want you to come back and dump some water on those two."
"As Missus wishes."
~
"Fuck you, you lousy bastard!" Sirius shoved his fist into the other wizard’s side. If he had to take a gander, he was losing. His nose was broken, he had some busted ribs and his dick was broken. He wasn’t giving up.
Remus groaned, he was going to feel that for days. He couldn’t believe the Black heir had this much fight in him. Nails actually raked down his arm, fucking fighting like a bitch. If he wanted to play that way. He could scratch and bite too. "You fucking stole her from me."
"She wasn’t yours." Sirius would have explained why while removing his balls but didn’t get the chance. There was a high pitched squeal of glee before he couldn’t breath due to the water being poured onto his face. He sputtered, Remus was rolling off of him to get away from the downpour. What the fuck? It wasn’t ending. A bloody waterfall had opened up over their heads. "What the fuck, Kreacher?!"
Remus gasped as he slid in the already forming puddle at his knees. He was reaching for the back of a chair. He could barely see through the blanket of water. Something crashed beside him, Black was trying to get up as well. The kitchen, just the room, was filling. The fucking house elf was standing up on the counter looking smug. "Make him stop, we both know you can’t fucking swim."
"Fuck you, Moony. Kreacher, stop before I cut off your ears." After he ripped off his arms and legs. He was soaked through. What had possessed the little bastard to interfere? He owed the damn werewolf a few more licks. Okay, more than a few. He’d beat him until he got it through his thick head that Luna belonged with him.
"No, Missus tolds Kreacher to do so. She says the traitorous seed and the one with muggle fleas is acting like childrens. Missus isn’t happy."
"Shite," Sirius stumbled onto his feet. Had they woken her? Had she seen them fighting? How upset was she? "We’re done, you can stop. Where is she? Is she upstairs?"
"Noes, Missus left with the little Blacks and the loud one. Shes took them away, away from yous, both of yous. Now Kreacher, will clean up the mess. Missus said to get out, so Kreacher can clean."
"Fuck, are you happy now?" Remus pushed the soaked bangs from his face. Luna had taken all of the children, she’d taken Teddy with her. Dammit! How could he let his temper get the best of him? He couldn’t believe he hadn’t thought about what he was doing. No doubt they had woken up the entire house.
"No! Far from it!" Sirius was still extremely pissed. This just made it worse. So much for seeing his wife. The bloody wolf had taken care of that. "This is your fault. I knew I couldn’t trust you. I’m not even gone for a month and you are already sticking your dick in my wife. I should have Kreacher hex the tiny thing off."
"First off, I’ve never been accused of being small. Second, I have yet to dick your wife. If I had, we would have been sleeping at my place." Remus clenched his fist as the other wizard withdrew his wand. Was it going to end like this? Were they going to kill each other? "I would never disrespect you in your own home or her. Teddy fell asleep so she told me to use the couch. She went to bed alone."
"Oh," that brought about some relief. That still didn’t change the fact that his wife had stormed out. "Guess we should go apologize."
"Right, to the Burrow then?" Remus saw the nod and followed the mangled dog to the floo. He took a minute for himself after Sirius had gone through. His anger was still raging high. Moony still wanted to fight. Their fight had been interrupted but it wasn’t over. Not until one of them completely lost any hopes of being with Luna. "The Burrow."
The flames died down and he stepped out and right into a fist. He snarled and backed away, only to shrink inwardly when he caught sight of who had slugged him one. He may be all for fighting another male but seeing the seething Weasley Matriarch ready to throw another blow was astounding. To his left, his prey was whimpering and holding his own face. "Molly."
"Don’t you Molly me! How dare you! Both of you! I would have expected it from Sirius but not you. Do you two have any idea what you’ve done?! I have the right mind to take the whip to you both!" Molly rolled her eyes as the Black heir claimed to be dying. Really. With a flick of her wand she quickly righted his nose. That only made him cry out, "Two grown wizards fighting like a bunch of muggle kids."
"He started it," Sirius moved his mouth to test out his nose. It was no longer bleeding. That harpy had punched him right in the broken cartilage. His poor face, it was going through hell tonight. Luna had definitely ran to Molly.
"You did," when he had lied. Remus wiped the blood from his mouth. Luna was here somewhere, along with Teddy. He knew his son was alright, if a bit shaken from the noise. He was more worried about Luna. What was she thinking? Why had she fled?
"You are both responsible for your actions, all of them. While you two took the last twenty minutes punching each other, the dear girl told me everything. Shush, I don’t want to hear either one of you try to defend your behavior. You’re both idiots." Molly was only on one side, Luna’s. "Like all men, you two have seemed to have forgotten that there is a third party involved in all of this. That poor girl is absolutely distraught."
"We didn’t mean to fight. Okay, he had it coming but I didn’t want it to happen where she could see it." Sirius would never do anything to upset her. He loved her, he just wanted her back.
"I said shush! Do you think that is the only problem? Have you two ever stopped to put yourself in her shoes? Do you have any idea what it is like for her, knowing one day she’ll have to make a choice?" Molly would just dump them both and move on. "Especially when she cares for you both? She knows that no matter who she chooses, someone she loves is going to get hurt. Then to see you two fighting like animals because of her. You two have gone through so much as friends, she knows this."
"You’re right, Molly." Remus hadn’t wanted to think about that. He had and still only wanted to have his way. In his mind as long as he was the one that she ended up with, the pain it caused his friend was acceptable. That went for Sirius to, they were males. They had only been thinking of their own pain. He wouldn’t want to be in Luna’s place.
"Can we talk to her?" Sirius knew she was right. He had tried to give her the option of choosing, with the confidence that he’d win. What he hadn’t thought about was how much it would hurt her to have to hurt his friend when he lost.
"No, you may not. I gave her a sleeping potion. You two will go home and clean up the mess you made. She may need a place to go home to. Of course, she is more than welcome to remain here. I don’t see why she’d want to return to either of you. If I were her, I’d tell you both to take your selfish arses straight to hell. Get out of my house. Her and the children are sleeping, you will not be allowed to disturb them further tonight."
~
Luna knew she wasn’t alone the moment she stepped through the floo. Molly had warned her that Sirius may be here. Tonks had stopped by the Burrow an hour ago to collect Teddy. Molly had sent the other witch an owl explaining what had happened. Tonks had apologized for their behavior and tried to talk to her. The other woman thought she should follow her heart. How could she when it was telling her she wanted them both? It wasn’t fair to either of them, or to the children.
So she had come to a decision. Molly was right, she had to give them up. If she did pick one, the other would be hurt. Her indecision was already ruining their friendship. Who was she to destroy something that had lasted through two wars and over twenty years? She wasn’t that special. She would walk away so they could move on. She was sure there was someone out there for both of them. It would kill her to do it but she loved them too much to continue hurting them.
The plan was to have Kreacher help her pack. She was going to move back into her old home. It wasn’t grand like her current home but would be fine to raise her children. On the days Sirius wanted to see his kids, he could send Kreacher over to pick them up. Ginny had stopped by long enough to pick up the twins, to give her time to get their belongings. She had promised to send Harry over tomorrow to set Sirius straight. It wasn’t necessary. It was her fault for thinking she could take her time to see who she loved more.
"Luna?" Sirius spoke her name softly. He had been sitting on the couch waiting for her arrival. As angry as she was, she wouldn’t make the children go without clean clothes. It would have been easy to send Kreacher to get them but she hadn’t. It meant she was determined to come back and get her things, to end it. They had discussed this possible outcome. It wasn’t what he wanted. She was still wearing her nightgown. "Can we talk?"
"No, I don’t think we should." Because if she allowed him to speak, she’d let him convince her to stay. It wasn’t going to work. She wasn’t going to destroy their friendship to be happy. She’d also go the rest of her life wondering if she would have been happier with the other. No, it was best just to walk away before anything else could go wrong. "I’m leaving. No, I’m not choosing Remus. I’m not choosing, ever. It’s over. I think it’s best if we all walk away. I won’t have you two fighting over me. I never wanted that."
"I know, we know. Will you give us a chance to talk? Please? If you still want to leave after we’ve talked, I’ll accept that." Like hell he would but if it got her to remain long enough to hear what he had to say then he’d pretend that he could watch her walk away. Sirius saw her hesitation. "Remus is in the other room. Will you please give us a moment?"
"Why? So you can start fighting over who wronged who? I’m tired of being caught in the middle. Do you have any idea how much that hurts?" She didn’t want to cry. Crying solved nothing. "Fine, you have five minutes."
"Thank you," he held out his hand. This had to work, he couldn’t lose her. Sirius led her into the sitting room. Remus was where he’d left him. The werewolf was sitting on the couch with his head buried. He knew this would be a big adjustment for his friend. It was the only agreement they could come to.
Remus was thrilled to see that Sirius had been able to get her to agree to talk. It was in her right to grab her things and tell them both to go to hell. He had already listened to his ex-wife’s opinion. As far as all the witches in Luna’s life were concerned, neither one of them deserved her. Maybe they were right, but he still wanted her. "Luna."
She wasn’t sure what to say. A hello would be forced and lame. Instead, she let Sirius lead her to the chair. She was thankful, since her knees felt weak. What were they going to tell her? Convince her to still take her time and choose?
"Let me," Sirius addressed his friend. He knew he was better at saying what needed to be said. He knelt down in front of the blonde. "We realize that after our rather immature behavior last night, you probably want to say to hell with both of us. It is within your right to do so. However, we have talked it over and came to one conclusion. We both love you, we both want you, neither of us is willing to step aside and we sure the hell wouldn’t allow you to leave without trying to stop you. No matter what you did, we’d both try to win you back. Which means it would be an endless battle between us and unnecessary heartache and confusion for you."
"Exactly, which is why you should let me leave. I don’t want you fighting over me. I know that most witches would be thrilled at the fact but it pains me to see you two hurting each other. I’d rather walk away than to continue putting you both through this because I can’t and will never be able to choose." As much as it was paining her to say it, she was willing to do it in order to spare them.
"No, I couldn’t handle you walking away and I think Moony would hunt you down the first full moon. I think it’s safer for all if you listened to our suggestion." Remus felt the ache deep inside hearing her suggest walking away from them, from him. He’d do whatever it took to prevent that from happening.
"Yes, we’ve decided that if it means not losing you, we’d be willing to share you." Sirius wasn’t completely thrilled with the idea but it was better than the alternative. It wouldn’t be a normal situation but neither of them were normal. He was an ex-con from a death eater family and the other was a werewolf with self-pity issues.
"Excuse me," what the hell? Luna wanted to slap him for even suggesting it. True, she had realized that she wanted them both. But she wanted a relationship with them both, not to be passed around like a common trollop. "I will not be passed around like a muggle television remote because you two are too bloody lazy to get off of the couch."
"No, that’s not what we meant, Love." Sirius saw that nasty temper rising. Maybe he should have worded that better. "There will be no passing around. I’m not even suggesting that you try to carry on two separate relationships. We are asking you to be in one. One relationship; you, me and Remus. It’s not exactly common or what either of us originally had in mind. I know it’ll take some time to get used to the idea but will you be willing to try?"
"How?" What about jealousy? What happens when she kisses one and the other gets pissed over it? Who would share her bed and on what nights? "It won’t work. You’re too quick to temper and he’s a bit jealous. I won’t have you two arguing over who gets a turn in my bed. I’ll still feel like it’s wrong."
"We weren’t planning on taking turns." Remus would have laughed if not for the seriousness of the situation. Her face turned redder than a Weasley’s hair. "I mean, Sirius assured me that the bed was large enough for all three of us to fit."
"That may be, but what about sex? What happens when one of you decides you want it?" She already knew that she would want to indulge if she were in bed with her husband. What about Remus? So far he hadn’t tried to tempt her into anything. If they were together, wouldn’t he want to have some kind of physical relations?
"Well, seeing as we both want it from you, we will have to share your time. We will figure something out." Sirius wanted to think it was a sign that she hadn’t stood and stormed out yet. "It’s asking a lot of you, we know. Will you at least try it for a few weeks? If we promise not to try anything sexual? Just spend the next couple of weeks being in a relationship with both of us and see how it goes? We’ll be on our best behavior, promise."
~
"They are still sleeping." Sirius closed the door softly behind him. Twenty years ago if someone had told him he’d have Remus Lupin waiting in bed for him, he would have hexed them. The other wizard was leaning back against the headboard with his nose buried in a book. Did the man ever get tired of reading? Every night for the last three months, he’d climb in bed with the bookworm. It was a good thing a sexy blonde slept between them. "Mind if we cut the light out?"
"I don’t mind, but she is still in the shower." Remus marked his page and placed it on the night stand. Their witch wouldn’t be done for another ten minutes at most. Another night of fighting for the covers. The only good part about being on the opposite side was his fighting for the cover managed to keep Luna warm. By the time he realized the covers were off of him, he would yank them back before they fell off her. They all had their flaws; Sirius stole the covers, Luna often grinded her teeth and he snored.
"Good, I won’t have to see her strolling into the room. I refuse to take another cold shower." A downfall to this agreement. Sirius so wanted to touch his wife. After the first week, Luna had seemed content with how things were progressing and had told them so. However, she told them she wasn’t ready to become intimate with either of them yet. He was almost ready to tell Moony to put on a blonde wig.
"Does that really work? Then gouge my eyes out." Then Remus wanted his nose ripped off, then his skin torched. Not only could he smell her everywhere but she preferred to use Sirius as a pillow, out of habit, leaving him to spoon her from behind. Sirius could be a damn pillow, he loved having her rubbing that soft little arse against his crotch. Two nights ago he had lost control in his boxers. He wasn’t sure if she did it on purpose or was naturally that antsy while sleeping. Still, they had both agreed that they’d allow her to initiate the sex whenever she was ready.
"How bout I cut that monster cock off instead?" Sirius put the room in darkness. He wasn’t that worried about the other wizard’s cock. It was only a tad longer than his own. The girth was about the same, except near the base. His own was the same all the way down, the werewolf’s had seemed to expand a bit. He had gotten a good look at it the other night. They had been changing for bed. He knew he had walked in right after the two had kissed. It wasn’t exactly jealous, just a bit miffed. He had received his kiss after climbing in bed beside his wife.
"Come near me and I’ll rip yours off." Like the arse had room to talk. He wasn’t the only one sporting a decent size. Remus got comfortable on his side. He ignored the cocky laugh. He was getting used to the playful banter. He wasn’t going to take any threat seriously. Knowing that any fight would put Luna off helped to keep his jealousy at bay. Their roles had changed somewhat. He now stayed home with the children during the day. Luna spent hers helping Ginny out in the new store and Sirius still worked in the Ministry. She usually managed to get home before the Auror, which gave him about an hour of her time, alone. Their evenings were spent with the children, talking and each lavishing Luna with their own kind of affection. Earlier this evening, Luna had laid upon the couch with her head in his lap while they both read from the same book. Sirius had sat on the other end, switching between tickling and massaging her feet. He was sure a few times the man’s hands had ventured further north.
Good, then he wouldn’t have to worry about these painful erections. Sirius got on his back hearing the bedroom door open. He knew the routine. She’d climb over him, making sure to brush against his cock. The fresh scent of apples arrived before she did. He could barely make out her outline. "Do you want the lamp on, Love?"
"Nope, I know the way." Luna didn’t want them to turn the lamp on. It would kill what nerve she had collected. The robe fell to the floor next to the bed. She knew he was waiting for her to climb in. The motion of Remus pulling the covers aside and back could be seen. They were doing their best to compromise and to get along. So far things were going smoothly. But she knew that wasn’t the real test. Being friendly wasn’t the problem, it was actually sharing her. They were men, would they be able to accept it when she touched the other?
There was no reaction as she placed a hand on the mattress to help climb over Sirius. He would always keep his hands to himself when she did. At the most, he’d put a hand on her shoulder for support. This time she made sure to put her knee out further, so that when she slid across his waist, she brushed along his groin. She giggled inwardly noticing that he was already stiff.
"Oh, Merlin!" Sirius gasped and almost came off of the mattress. His hand did reach up to grab her arm. What the hell was she thinking? There had been no barrier between them. No scratchy, annoying clothing to keep his cock from feeling the warm, smooth caress of her cunny. This time he got a very close and extended brush of the soft folds. Did she just fucking giggle?
"You okay?" Remus asked with concern. Had she accidently pegged the wizard in the jewels? Why was she laughing? It must not be too serious, because the blonde went to snuggling like any other night. Assuming that all was well, Remus scooted closer to take his position of spooning behind her. His hand slid across the silky smooth skin of her stomach. That was odd, she usually wore a nightgown to bed. As he contemplated checking to see what kind of clothing she had on, his groin came in contact with her bottom. Unlike Sirius, he did have on bottoms but he knew what bare skin felt like. She didn’t have a stitch of clothing on.
This was nice. Luna sighed, content for now. Both of them were warm and hard, literally. Gods, she could feel Remus growing against her. She missed being touched. Tonight, one of them was going to pleasure her. If they were serious about this entire relationship then they would go with it. Also, she liked rubbing her hand up and down the furry chest. She had missed her happy trail. And she really missed the cock that was working its way towards her fingertip. Did he have to turn to spoil her fun?
Sirius shifted to face his wife. He was going to chastise her about teasing. A hand went around his neck, pulling his head towards her. Kissing would not get her out of a lecture. Even if he was enjoying the way her tongue plundered his mouth. He brought his hand up to place on her waist, only to find another already resting there. Was she trying to test them? To see how they would react? To see how they would handle the other fucking her while being in the same bed? Fuck it, he loved Moony as a best friend, and he loved his sweet Luna with all that he was. If she wanted to have both of them, then that’s what she’d get. Instead of pushing the other man’s hand away, he helped to guide it.
What was the man playing at? Remus knew they were kissing, he could hear it, see the outline of their heads fused together. He was waiting for the other man to insist that he wait their time out. He stiffened when the fingers started to maneuver his hand upward along the witch’s rib cage. He closed his eyes as his palm closed around a firm breast. The nipple hardened as he rubbed and squeezed.
Luna allowed him to break the kiss. She savored the feel of the large hand kneading her tit. The top of his head was made out, lowering to where the other wizard was causing tiny strings of lust to stir. She almost jumped out of her skin when the mouth latched onto the nipple. Remus’ hand was still holding onto globe, she almost groaned realizing that the werewolf had helped to direct it right into the hot mouth.
Hearing her moan was so hot. Sirius licked and suckled it like he knew she wanted. If she was offended by having two men touching her, she was hiding it well. How would she react to having both of them touching her cunny? He grabbed the man’s hand and directed it lower. This time it was more of a dual-trip, instead of him having to prompt the other man into doing it. Their fingers were laced by the time they reached the index of her thighs. Together, had her lifting her top leg up and open.
Luna leaned her head back as they cupped her there. She knew Sirius enough to know that he was enjoying himself. Her husband had a way of whimpering whenever he was really turned on. The sounds were vibrating against her nipple. She turned her head to place a slight kiss on the werewolf’s chin. What she got was an open mouthed kiss. She ached feeling the two sets of fingers gliding over the wet folds. Sirius’ fingers were gentle, Remus’ had a rougher feel to them. Together they were playing and taking turns brushing along her clit. Until only a single finger was left to begin a steady circling of the nerve.
Remus almost came as she bucked against him. Sirius was still suckling on her tits, swapping between the two. He could detect the soft pants as he nibbled her bottom lip, only to slid his tongue back into her mouth. He had wondered for so long what it’d be like to touch her. Her cunny was just as small and perfect as the rest of her. He dipped his finger down to collect some of the moisture. It made the motion so much easier.
That felt so good. Luna noticed the fingers that began to fondle her further south. Just below where Remus was toying with her. A finger pushed through to slide deep. It was so good, her muscles clamped down around the single digit. It only took a minute of the slow torture before she began to shake.
Sirius let her ride the orgasm out. He wanted to take her, to have her orgasm all over his cock. He knew he would need a few minutes, he had just gotten off all over his stomach and the covers. Better to allow Moony some time. Impatient, he reached behind her to tug at the man’s boxers. He’d have to instruct the man on not wearing them from now on. It only slowed the process down.
Remus almost snapped feeling the other’s man hand on his person. Then he understood what he was indicating. He lifted his hips enough that the material could be slid down. It was odd having another man help him undress. But when it was letting him know that he was going to be the first one to take her, he didn’t give a damn. While he was lightly stroking and spreading her apart, his boxers were being removed completely. Sirius had to sit up and lean over a bit to get them off of his feet. As the other man laid back down, he scooted further south.
Sirius knew where he was situated. He was tempted to turn on the lamp but he didn’t want to embarrass her. Having two men having a go may take time to get use to. Great minds think alike. Remus’ hand left it’s exploring to grasp her knee and to pull it up.
Luna blushed and tried to focus on what they were doing. It sucked that there was only enough light to barely make out the hint of where he was. Remus was caressing the leg he had maneuvered out of the way. Why had he stopped? She was a little sensitive after getting off but having him touching her had been nice. There was also the constant brush of something hard and huge against her arse. Why was Sirius still down there? He wasn’t going to, was he? Yes, he was. His mouth found her.
She smelt sweet. Remus envied the other wizard at that moment. The man could be heard licking and sucking. Luna was getting louder, bucking as she was pleasured. How wet was she? Gods, he wanted inside her. He pulled back and tried to direct his cock along the crease. The tip hit the soaked opening, only to slide further and he accidently hit a stubbled chin. "Fuck."
"I love you Moony, but not like that." Sirius chuckled at the clumsy attempt. He didn’t want to be stabbed in the face with that thing. Trying to maintain an impersonal demeanor, it wasn’t hard, the werewolf didn’t do anything for him, he grabbed the middle of the man’s cock with just the use of his thumb and forefinger.
"Yes," Remus wasn’t about to tell the man to get the fuck off of his cock. With the assistance, the head was placed where it was needed. The fingers moved as soon as he began to push up and in. He felt it force the inner walls to spread and open. He took his time, giving her time to adjust to every inch. It was hard to go slow when he could hear and sense that the other man had returned to his previous task.
"Fuck, I can’t." Luna latched her fingers into the dark hair. She was so close to getting off but couldn’t. The feel of him stretching her was too much. It was all she could focus on. Especially when he was halfway in, he wasn’t stopping. He was definitely as thick as her husband. It was the same, but wasn’t. The way he began to move, to ease out, and then ease more in. When she got close to being full, she felt the difference.
He was going to loose control. Remus gritted his teeth as she began to contract around him. They had barely begun and she was screaming. He spooned her close as he sped up. Slamming his cock with just enough force to guarantee that it was enjoyable. The brunette had his head moving wildly nearby.
Sirius used his tongue to rapidly lick her swollen clit. He didn’t care that she was yanking on his hair or that she had just came all over the man’s cock. He could hear how aroused she was with each thrust. The werewolf was being louder than his wife, panting and then crying out as he drove in a final time. The way his little lovely was moving, she wanted more.
Luna wanted more. That had felt so good. There was a slight twinge of pain as the man behind her withdrew. Hands were pulling her forward and away from Remus. She knew what he wanted. He wasn’t happy until she was on her back and he was situated between her legs. Having missed the feel of being this close to him, she wrapped her legs around his waist.
Remus shuddered as the wizard took his place. Luna actually cried out in some pain at the entry. He was sure if he were to check, Sirius had gone balls deep into the witch and immediately took up where he had left off, hard. Blood could be smelt as the girl was being pounded into the mattress. It was stirring to watch them go at it. To hear the sound of meeting flesh, the deep moans as she enjoyed being taken. There was no anger, only need and lust. His cock twitched as Sirius grabbed the mattress with both hands and used it for leverage. There was nothing tender about it, the hips were snapping and slamming hard.
Luna clawed at the shoulders. Her husband was grinding into her, creating a burning friction. It didn’t help when a hand reached out to caress her face. She turned her head to look in the direction of Remus. She knew he was watching. He’d be able to see better than them. How much more could she take? How much more would they try to give her? Her legs turned to noodles as she got off for the third time.
He didn’t halt as she beat against his back. Sirius could feel himself getting close. No doubt Moony was waiting for his turn again. Not yet, he wasn’t finished. He had at least five minutes, maybe three. If he was lucky, two. She was so tight, so wet. "Luna! Oh fuck! I’m gonna cum, Baby."

"Mum, Mum," Catherine was yanking on her Da’s arm. He was watching her brother trying to set off the fireworks. At eight, she had grown to look exactly like her Mum but with dark hair. Her brother was the spitting image of the wizard standing next to her. Her younger brother, Carter looked like their other Da. Their Mum had explained that he wasn’t really their Da, but her and Chris had agreed, he was just like one and Uncle Harry said what made a Da was how they treated you. They all lived together and Carter looked like their second Da.
Teddy was holding the two year old, Carter, out of harm’s way. Sirius looked back hearing his daughter calling out. Remus who was helping Chris light the wick also turned. All of them moved back as it shot into the air. They were playing with the new fireworks George Weasley had invented.
Sirius smiled as she approached. After almost nine years, seven of them with Remus, he still couldn’t believe how lucky he was. They had only one other child in that time. During the entire pregnancy he had playfully argued with Remus over who had done the planting. It wasn’t until Carter was a year old that his looks had begun to show any signs of who had fathered him. He had been born bald and looking like Luna. As each day passed, anyone could see Lupin coming out. Shame, he had wanted another child. All three considered he and Remus both as fathers, with Luna being the center of their world.
"I see George forgot to take those things back with him." Luna would have to yell at him later. She had told them not to bring those things to her house. Teddy had set the garden on fire the last time. Just because her men thought it was cute to watch Kreacher run around in a panic, didn’t mean she wanted to risk the safety of her children.
"It’s just a bit of harmless fun." Sirius had to compete for a hug. As soon as the only girl in the bunch got her embrace, he vied for his own. Slender arms wrapped around his neck, "how is my baby feeling this evening?"
"She’s feeling a lot better." Luna leaned up to give him a chaste kiss. Someone else was coming over for theirs. Another one to inquire about her health. The two had been on her case for the last week about how pale she was. Two weeks ago she had suffered from a bad cold. This morning she had promised to go see a healer about her condition. "I saw that."
"He’s perfectly safe." Remus waved it off. It was a spot of fun, they could handle it. Boys would be boys, as they say. The only one that wasn’t having fun was Catherine, whom had already latched onto her mum’s waist. So much for getting himself a hug. He’d wait until tonight for a more intimate embrace. He settled for a soft peck on the mouth. "What did the healer say?"
"Well, he was still shocked when I informed him that I was still living with two obnoxious wizards." The family healer had already gotten over the shock of her marriage years ago. By law she was still only wed to Sirius but she had become the mate of Moony and Remus considered her as his wife. "He wanted me to give Cathy a message."
"Me? Do I have to get them shots?" It wasn’t true! Catherine cried out as her brothers stopped playing to listen. They had warned her this would happen because she was a girl. Girls had to get muggle shots because they could catch some kind of disease called cooties. It wasn’t funny! Why was her Da laughing? "Mum, I don’t want them."
"It’s okay, you don’t have to get shots." Luna made sure to elbow her husband before squatting to look at her daughter. Teddy and Chris were giggling behind their hands. Carter was looking up at his half-brother in wonder. "No, he wanted me to tell you this."
Remus tried to listen in as Luna whispered, so was Sirius. Had the healer really told her anything, or was she trying to placate their little girl? He wanted to hear. Whatever it was had the little girl smiling and beginning to jump. It better not be a fucking broom. He had told Sirius that quack was a bad influence. They were both in agreement that their daughter was NOT getting on a broom until she was seventeen and she wasn’t allowed to date until she was thirty.
"Really? Can I tell them Mummy?" Catherine didn’t try to contain her excitement. This was the bestest news ever. Mummy had gotten her what she wanted, finally. At the soft nod she turned to both of them and shouted. "Mum, said that she loves you but she decided to give me what I wanted for Christmas. I’m going to get a baby sister!"
