Chapter four: The Midnight Sky Above His Eyes
My mind refused to focus; it only thought of Harry. I found mediocre tasks impossible to complete for the remainder of the day. My hands shook intensely; I could not hold a cup of water steadily.
I fear what might take place this evening. I am terrified of his eyes, the very thing I cannot cease to reminisce. Each instant that I perceive them in my mind, my heart beats at a more rapid rate. I don't know how I can handle his rejection, if that is my fate. I don't think I will be able to survive if his brilliant eyes stare at me no more.
However, tonight could as well be brilliant and beautiful. Perhaps I will experience the bliss of his touch once more. I only hope my fears are false.
Supper was unachievable. I was too nervous to even lift a piece of food to my mouth. I could no longer see reality; I only saw the emerald eyes. I heard nothing, despite Blaise's incessant chattering to alter the loud noise the Great Hall continually generates. Harry was all that mattered to me; my eyes would not remove themselves from his glorious face.
He, however, was perfectly normal, holding a conversation with the Weasel, not minding me. He did not once look over at me, and it stung. I felt as though I could no longer breathe, I had to see his eyes lock into mine. I felt a dagger drive into my heart throughout the supper; as each moment passed and his eyes never returned my gaze, it drove deeper.
After this torture had ceased, I arrived back at my dorm room, whereupon I began my preparations for tonight; I wished my appearance to be at its prime. Tonight it is vital that my look be that of radiance, I do desire that what instigated last night is taken further.
I began my primping with a shower, for it is not in my aspiration to reek in the presence of Harry.
I find showers exhilarating, as the water rains upon my body, drowning every ghastly feeling, rinsing me of my guilt. I am fond of the touch of my fingers to my skin as the tiny beads of water flood down my figure. My sensitive skin turns a luminous crimson, from the impact of the water upon it.
My shower tonight took a much greater amount of time so that I was perfection for him.
When I re-entered my dorm room I stood in front of my mirror, and gazed at the attrac fla flaxen boy, whom blinked back at me. My eyes are large and are made of a brilliant shade of gray, which resembles the sky before a violent storm. They rest proudly atop my cheek bones, which have formed marvelously over the years. These visible cheek bones curve down my face and meet at my sharp chin.
My nose is turned-up and at a medium length, not being a short wrinkled pug nose, similar to Pansy's, and as well not being a long beak, as Professor Snape's nose is.
The silvery blonde hair, which now falls upon the outline of my face, is quite beautiful and suits me well. I find the wispy style, in which it now lays, extremely handsome, and at times I consider wearing it in such a way. Though, my sleeked back hair distinguishes my supremacy, along with my wealth, and so demonstrates to those whom peer upon me that I am indeed a Malfoy, or so I believe.
I left my hair as it was, falling lightly surrounding my face. I turned away from the mirror and continued my preparations. My heart seemed to race a bit more with each thought of Harry, and what I hoped would take place tonight, along with what I feared could happen as well.
I can't believe I am putting myself at the mercy of Harry Potter; two days ago I would not have cared what he thought of me. I've always hated him, and yet now, I'm falling for him.
I can't quit thinking of him, he seems to be all that matters to me, and I don't have explanation for this. I feel absolutely insane, but I hope that he feels the equivalent for me, because I believe I could possibly love him.

I arrived at the entrance to Gryffindor at promptly twelve o'clock. To my contentment, Harry rested against the wall with his legs crossed before him, awaiting my arrival. I beamed to myself, knowing that my fears are no longer so. He seemed a bit flustered, perhaps worried if I had forgotten.
I was hidden from his sight, underneath his Invisibility Cloak, which I was to deliver him this evening.
"Where could he be?" I heard him worriedly whisper.
I decided to remain veiled by the cloak, and study his reactions, for a person only shows their true self when they believe no one is watching.
He raised his tensed hand to his forehead and began to massage his temple, as if to rid it of his thoughts of worry.
"He said midnight, did he not?" He reached into his pocket and removed a folded paper. "Yes, it says 'midnight'! It's two past twelve!"
His eyes suddenly narrowed, as his lips curled.
"Just like Draco! Instructs me to be prompt, yet shows his face when he pleases! Well, I won't stand for this! Ha!" he began to madly stomp about the hallway.
Suddenly he stood still, his face fell into a somber expression. "I bet it was all a joke of some sort! Gets me to kiss him in the gardens, tells me to show up now! I bet he's somewhere with Crabbe and Goyle laughing at me!"
The emerald in his eyes glistened as they began to tear. "How could he do this? I really felt something for him." He muttered to himself as he rubbed his forehead.
He then lifted his head from his hands, darting his eyes about insanely. "The Invisibility Cloak," he silently mouthed.
"Alright Draco, where are you?" His arms straightened as he ran about the hallway, attempting to find me.
"Over here," I called, across the hallway from his pathetic endeavor to uncloak me. I removed the cloak from my body, allowing my exquisite face to be exposed.
He halted; his face grew bright red, his eyes moved down the line of my body. He seemed a bit pleased at my appearance this evening.
"How long have you been here?" he quietly demanded.
"Long enough to watch your emotional roller coaster," I chuckled.
He involuntarily lifted his hands to his face in complete obvious embarrassment; his emerald eyes remained fixed upon me.
I smirked, for having caught Harry Potter admitting his feelings for me.
"Harry," I softly said as I began to slowly step towards him. "Do you mind if I call you that?"
He slowly nodded his head, continuing to linger in his shock.
"Good," I raised my eye brow, mischievously. "Are some Gryffindors still in the common room, Harry?"
"Y-yes, Draco."
I stunted my movement towards his frozen figure for a brief moment. "I do enjoy how my name sounds from your lips, Harry."
I approached his body; though, I did not quit my motion and continued to inch towards his lips as they spoke to me silently and unknowingly.
"I have come to return two things which belong to you. One is of course your cloak." I released the item into his hands.
My stormy eyes gazed into his at a mere inch away. I smelt his essence mixed with the fragrance of cologne, applied sparingly. I felt his warm breath hit my face soothingly.
I spoke once more, "And the other..." I lifted my delicate fingers to his frightened face and tenderly removed loose strands of his black hair which fell into his phenomenal eyes. "...is this..."
I inched my lips closer to his. The nearer I approached him, the stronger the invisible magnetic pull of his lips became. Suddenly, our lips touched, a spark shot from this origin and transmitted throughout my body. My heart surged, my entire body experienced a rush, and I felt alive.
The kiss was no longer dry nor was it awkward, it was sensational. I felt his very soul inside his mouth, and it was beautiful.
He pushed me against the wall, out of passion. I wrapped my arms about his waist. His hand raised itself to my cheek and affectionately caressed it, as we remained in the amazing kiss.
Though he broke away, he pushed me back; he took me away from the magnificence the kiss brought me to.
"Don't run away! Please don't!" I begged, grasping his arms.
"No, I won't, I wasn't about to. I just thought," his eyes darted about, "perhaps not here. Isn't it a bit risky? Let's go to the Astronomy Tower."
I grinned in agreement.
He draped his Invisibility Cloak over the two of us, where we were no longer visible to teachers, prefects, nor students, whom all roam the castle at night.
He took my hand, which previously had hung limply at my side, and piloted me through the dormant castle. I adored his touch, it felt so right.
As we entered the outside, I lifted my head to see the midnight sky. The stars shined as they never had before, the moon seemed to be so extraordinarily enormous.
"Wait!" I quit walking, forcing him to stop as well.
He turned to me, his eyes met mine. "What is it? Is there something wrong?"
I shook my head. "No, nothings wrong."
"Well, then why did we stop?" he questioned.
"I just, well, wished to admire the sky for a moment. Can we take off the cloak; I don't believe anyone is around."
He released a sigh of impatience, yet tore off the cloak, and set it to the ground.
He was so beautiful against the midnight sky. His porcelain skin reflected the moons shine; his eyes glistened with the stars. Those eyes, which I often see, were glorious beneath the night-filled sky.
His mouth opened to speak, yet I quickly pressed my finger to his swollen lips.
"Don't speak."
He ignored my command, "I just don't know what we're doing."
"I only wish to admire your beauty for a brief moment."
He smiled, flattered by my comment. "You know you're quite stunning yourself, Draco."
"Well, then perhaps you should take a moment to admire it, and leave me to watch yours for a bit."
"How long shall we do this?" he giggled.
"Oh, not long."
His eyes began to move across my face, his smile ceased to be. His mouth dropped. "Merlin," he whispered beneath his breath. He began to chew his bottom lip.
I fluttered my eyes.
"Draco, why should we use the Astronomy Tower, why not here?" he said after sometime.
"We can't, as much as I wish to, we can't."
"Why not?"
"It's too risky, Harry. Even with the Invisibility Cloak, the chances are we will get caught. Come on then, let's get to the Astronomy Tower, I don't wish to waste this moment, it's so beautiful."
I lifted cloak from the earth, and clasped my hand about his. We both sprinted the entire way, eager to begin what awaited at the Astronomy Tower.
I lead him to a room I know familiarly, it consisted of an arm chair, a large sofa, and a romantic fireplace. I closed the door behind me, with lust glowing in my eyes.
"Let's begin," I whispered.
He walked over to me, placed his hand upon my face, and pressed his lips to mine. It began with a passionate kiss.
