Roark woke to a cool hand on his shoulder. He sighed, snuggling his head deeper into his pillow, wanting nothing more than to deny it was morning, finding himself wishing that Rodolphus was still lying beside him. He knew though, that just like morning had come, Rodolphus had left, given the cold emptiness beside him.
A soft chuckle sounded, and he rolled to his back, wincing when more than a few muscles protested the move. "Wakey, wakey, little brother," came Harry's cheerful, and deeply amused voice as he felt the bed dip at his side.
"Um...don't want to," he murmured. Rodolphus had taken him three more times after that first time, their passion burning just as hot...if not hotter than the last. Neither of them could seem to get enough of the other.
One night.
They had promised themselves just that one night. "If this one night," he had said gruffly as he had pounded into him with deeply powerful strokes, "is all I can have of you, then I am going to make it a night neither of us will ever forget."
"Roark."
He opened his eyes then, saw both the grinning faces of his brother, as well as one of his best friends, where the other was he was sure he didn't want to contemplate. "Harry. Logan," he murmured. "Why are you doing here?"
"Good morning, Roark. We're here because it is a couple centons {hours} past sunrise, and when you didn't show up at Headquarters at your normal time, we got worried."
"I was sleeping, Logan, which I DON"T do most nights," he told him as he sat up, pushing his pillows behind his back, a frown beginning to curve his brow. "Who is we?" he asked, running a hand through his tangled hair as yet another chuckle sounded.
Hearing a noise from his bedroom doorway, he turned his head to see Kili crossing his room toward his bed. "What?" he growled at them when all three of the grinning idiots smiled widely.
"Someone had a VERY good night last night by the looks of him," Kili said as he reached the edge of the bed, almost laughing full out when Roark's face flushed.
"So...oo, who was he?"
"Who was whom?"
Two pairs of fingers touched the side of his neck. "The man who gave you this, of course," Kili answered. "Harry has one to match on the side of his neck, but has so far declined to answer our questions about who gave it to him."
"That's because it really is none of your business, Ki," Harry murmured, his own face beginning to heat as he suddenly found himself remembering the passionate night he had just spent with Rabastan. Bright KOBOL, could that man fuck. He thought he had known pleasure with his other lovers, but he found that had been NOTHING compared to what Rabastan had made him feel.
Roark raised a hand to the side of his neck, covering the mark there, his face flaming. "Get out of here, all of you so I can go get a shower and get dressed. Am I to assume that Severus, your brothers, and cousins are in my living area?"
"Yes, and when they see that, just as they did when they saw Harry's, they're going to want some answers..." he turned his head to look at Harry, "from the BOTH of you." He got to his feet. "Fili and Kili filled me in about Tristyn. After that is they got done ripping me apart for turning off my communicator."
Roark frowned deeply. "Just why DID you turn it off?"
"I was looking into something in a place where the ringing of a Colonial communicator could have gotten me into some rather serious trouble. It was better to just turn it off for as long as I was in the area."
"I see," Roark said, clearly not happy.
"Alone, Logan Adrien?"
"Yes, Harry, I went alone."
"You know better than that," He said sternly, turning his head to look up at him, his own frown pronounced. "With Tristyn's death, we have now lost the entire team but for us, Severus, your brothers and cousins."
"I do, and as I told them, and as I am now going to tell you, I just can't promise that I won't do it again," he raised a hand when he saw the brothers begin to open their mouths. "Don't," he said to them. "Please, just...don't. I am well of the risks that I take, but--"
"BOYS!! IS HE AWAKE YET?!" came Desmond's shout down the hall.
Logan looked back over his shoulder, about to yell out to his brother when Roark reached out to touch his hand, drawing his attention back to him. "Just go tell them that I'm awake and that I'm fine."
"I'll just bet you are," Kili said with yet another chuckle, wiggling his eyebrows. "Fine, that is."
Roark tossed a pillow at him, but he danced aside with hearty laughter, heading for the door. Roark shook his head, looking over at a now grinning Logan. "Go on. Go tell then we'll talk after I've had a shower and gotten dressed. I don't suppose I could talk someone into making some breakfast?"
Logan arched a brow. "Will you tell us who your lover is?"
"As what happened last night will not be happening again, he can not be termed as my lover," he raised his hand to stop whatever he was about to say, "and yes, I will be telling you everything."
"Rory," Logan's face took on a serious look, his blue eyes looking at him worriedly. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Logan," he answered him with a smile. "Now, go on. I'll join you all shortly."
As soon as Logan had left the room, the brothers looked at each other, each arching a brow as they studied each other. "Are you alright?" they asked together, which then set off a round of chuckles from them both.
"Rabastan?" Roark asked softly. "He didn't hurt you?"
"Perfectly fine, and no, he certainly did not. Dear Gods, can that man FUCK. I knew pleasure with the others, but it was nothing on what Rabastan made me feel. What about you, my brother?" he asked, reaching out to brush some dark hair out of his eyes. "He didn't hurt you?"
Roark shook his head. "Only very briefly that first time, but after that...no. No, he didn't. Harry, what in the name of Kobol are we doing? We really should not have allowed this to happen, and CERTAINLY not with those two."
"No, we very probably should not have, but as I told Rabastan last night, I'll not have any regrets. He wanted me, Rory. ME. Not Commander James Peverell Potter's son, or Commander Jacob Adama's grandson. I wasn't a feather on someone's cap for having slept with me."
Roark gave a nod at that. "I told Rodolphus the same, and I know how you feel. That too was part of the reason I wouldn't sleep with anyone." The smell of coffee and cooking bacon and sausage wafted down the hall. "Go on. I'll join you all as soon as I've had a shower."
"Alright," he stood, pulling a blue crystal vial from his jacket pocket. "Here, take this. It will help with all those sore muscles."
Roark took the vial. "Thanks, Harry."

"That son of a BITCH!!" Logan exclaimed. "I'm going to kill him!"
"No, you aren't," Alexei said, quieting him with a look when he would have said something else. That was all it had ever taken to control the youngsters. A look. "Rory," he turned back to him, "was Rodophus able to tell you anything about this new drug?"
Roark set his now empty plate on the coffee table, reaching for his still-hot mug of coffee. "As far as he knows, it doesn't have a name as of yet. All he could tell me was that it was new. It works by clouding one's mind and senses, lowering the inhibitions so that the one it had been given to didn't fight what was happening, an aphrodisiac with a powerful pleasure enhancer."
"And that is what Ardyn gave you?" Severus asked.
Roark looked over at him. "Yes, though luckily enough, he made the mistake of giving it to me in a glass of whiskey. I didn't drink enough of it for it to work as it was meant to."
"Hum...perhaps not, but you still had enough of it in your system..." he paused, looking thoughtful. "I want you to think. What, exactly, did you feel after those first few sips?"
"Well...my mind was definitely clouded," he answered slowly as he thought about it. "There was also a feeling of being drawn to him, even though I knew on some conscious level that I DIDN'T want to be with him like that. I'm not sure what it was that allowed me to clear my mind enough to get myself out of there."
"So Rodolphus took advantage--"
"Rodolphus didn't take advantage of anything," he snapped, silver eyes narrowing on his feet as Severus got to his feet. "By the time I had walked home, my mind was completely cleared." He turned his head. "Where are you going in such a hurry?"
"There's someone I need to talk to about this new drug," he told him. "If I find out anything new, I'll let you know as soon as I get back."
"Do you want one of us to come with you, Sev?" Tyler asked a bit worriedly. "None of us should be going anywhere on our own. Besides that, Dacian will have our heads if anything happens to you."
"My magic is shadow magic, Ty. No one sees me unless I LET them see me. I will be just fine, and Dacian worries too much."
After Severus had left the apartment, Fili turned to look at Roark. "We're also worried about you."
"Exactly," Kili spoke up as he sat forward. "That you actually trust Rodolphus Lestrange is surprising enough, but the fact that you've let him into your bed..." he dropped off, shaking his head, turning it to look at Harry with narrowed eyes. "And YOU? Rabastan? Seriously?"
A smirk. "Rabastan. Seriously. We've been attracted to each other from the moment he stepped into my apartment, and it's only grown stronger over the last few sectars {months}. There's something about him, something under that exterior of calm, cold, and deadly jokester that he shows everyone. I found I just couldn't resist the draw to him any longer, and if you want the truth, I was tired of fighting it. I have no regrets that I slept with him."
"I just hope," Desmond leaned forward in his chair, looking at each of them, "that this doesn't come back to bite the both of you in the ass. If either of you happens to be wrong about this, it could seriously backfire on you. We REALLY don't want to see either of you getting hurt, or worse yet, killed."
Now Alexei sat forward, his eyes intent on the two of them. "You both know who, you know WHAT they are. Who they work for, and what they've been contracted to do."
"Just as they know who, and WHAT we are, and what we have been sent here to do. We made a decision last night to do something about how we felt for them, and as Harry said he has no regrets, nor do I regret that it happened with him. As with Harry and Rabastan, Rodolphus and I have been deeply attracted to each other, and last night, we just couldn't resist each other any longer. Okay, so maybe having sex, and sleeping with them wasn't such a good idea, but...GODS, the sex we DID have."
"No KIDDING," Harry breathed, face taking on a pink tinge.
Jordan's brow shot up. "That good, was it?"
Grins as silver and emerald eyes took on a look none of them had ever seen in either of them. "It was WAY better than good," Roark said. "If he could have killed me with pleasure, I'd be dead now."
"OH...yeah," Harry breathed, desire unexpectedly stirring once again. "I've had a few lovers, but none of them ever roused me as Rabastan did."
"Oh...hh," Kili murmured, "that IS good." He saw his brother and cousins looking at him with raised brows. "What? Haven't we all dreamed about sex so good our lovers could kill us with pleasure alone? I know I have, and DO. I just haven't found him yet."
"As true as that may be, Ki," Alexei said with s smile, a married man with a wife he loved and missed very much, "I think we need to remind the boys to be careful. You hear me, Rory? Harry? I know you both said it was just this one night, but I think you both need to think about this. Once this kind of passion is awakened, it's very hard to deny for very long."
"Agreed," Tyler agreed, a married man of ten yahren {year} himself, he understood completely where these two were coming from. His husband made him feel like that every time they looked at each other. "Personally, I think you and Rodolphus," he turned his head, "and you and Rabastan are ALL fooling yourselves. If you all believe for one moment there's only going to be this one night, you're in for another think."
"Ty's right you know," Jordan spoke up, also a married man whose wife was even now at home with their three children, waiting very impatiently for him to come home to them. "That kind of desire is not going to burn itself out with just one night, or in several nights for that matter. You hear me?"
"Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see," Roark said with a smile as he finished the last of his coffee. "Believe it or not, I AM being careful, and though it may not seem so, I DO know what I'm doing."
"Goes double for me."
"Then enough has been said about this matter," Desmond said, picking up their plates as Roark stood, then stretched, the aches and pains gone thanks to the potion Harry had given him, following him into the kitchen with his and Harry's mugs.
"SO...what are we going to do about Ardyn?"
"I'm really not sure right now," Roark answered as they all grabbed their coats, and then left his apartment. "We COULD go ahead and arrest him, bring him in for questioning, but everything in me is saying that would be the wrong move to make. Everything we have is still just circumstantial, and such a move feels...wrong." He turned after securing his door, activating his alarm, only to freeze, feeling someone watching him.
Beside him, Harry also froze. Knowing exactly who it was, he turned, his silver eyes searching, as beside him, Harry was doing the same. each trying to spot where the two were. "The Lestrange's?" came Jordan's question.
As two pairs of eyes locked on the alleyway across from them, they all followed their gazes to see the two Terminators step out of the shadows, each of them smirking.
Desmond set a hand on each of their shoulders. "The four of you are playing a very dangerous game."
"And one that can get you all killed."
"Perhaps," Rory turned away, not even acknowledging the man who had been in his bed the night before, though, once again his body beginning to thrum with that intense desire. "Come on, let's get ourselves to headquarters."
