“I’m not so sure this is a good idea,” Hermione whimpered.
“You don’t want to let the world know?” Draco asked, a bit hurt.
“It isn’t that.” Hermione heaved a huge sigh. “You know I love you and I want the whole world to know we’re married. It’s just…don’t you think this is a bit inappropriate?”
Draco smiled. Hermione was pointing to her slightly rounded stomach. It had come as quite the shock since they were always careful but he found he didn’t mind a bit. He was looking forward to meeting his children. Merlin! Children! Melody had almost peed herself, she’d laughed so hard at their reaction. They were having twins, not identical though, a boy and a girl.
“No. It is not inappropriate for two people who have been married for two years to have children.”
Hermione snorted. “Yes, but they don’t know that.”
“Fuck them,” Melody sniffed as she walked in to place the veil on Hermione’s head. “They don’t matter. What matters is that you two want to show the world that you love each other and that’s what you’re going to do.”
Draco grinned. “What she said. Besides, I don’t mind if they know I’m going to be a father. I’m pretty chuffed, actually.”
Hermione laughed softly. “I guess I am as well. I just…I didn’t picture my wedding like this.”
“If you don’t want a double wedding, we could still call it off,” Ginny said quietly. She was sitting down trying to fight back a bout of nausea.
Hermione laughed again. “It isn’t that. I just…well, I figured that when I stood up to take my vows, I wouldn’t already be married.”
“Oh that.” Ginny grinned. “Mum’s going to blow a gasket when she finds out.”
“I would think she’d be relieved that you were married before you got knocked up.” Draco earned a pop in the stomach for his crassness.
Melody snickered. Hermione did pack quite a punch. “Serves you right. Now, out! It’s bad luck to see the bride before the wedding.”
“I’m already bloody married,” Draco growled as he walked out, still rubbing his stomach.
“You going to be okay?” Melody asked, her face full of concern as she watched Ginny turn a bit green.
“I hope I don’t throw up at my own wedding,” Ginny said weakly.
“SEV!” Melody shouted.
The door opened less than a moment later. “What’s wrong?” Severus’s face was a bit pale, the sleepless nights starting to catch up with him.
“Do you still have that morning sickness potion? Ginny doesn’t look so good.”
Severus fumbled in his robe pockets for a moment before taking out two vials of a soft violet colored potion. “Last two.”
Ginny cracked the first one, trying desperately to keep it down long enough for it to work. She sighed in relief when the nausea finally subsided. “Oh thank you father.”
Severus gave her a soft smile, an expression that crept across his face more often these days. “You’re welcome daughter. Is everything ready?”
“Just have to add these,” Melody said, waggling her eyebrow as she held up two blue garters. “And then you can call for the dads.”
“I’ll let them know,” Severus said and walked out of the room.
“He looks so tired,” Ginny said softly.
“He worries,” Melody frowned.
“Well, she did get pregnant again rather quickly,” Hermione mused. “Is Celeste alright?”
“She’s fine, a bit run down, but fine. She’d be better if she could feed but, well, who would she feed off of?” Melody shrugged.
“Would synthetic blood work?” Hermione asked curiously.
“Never thought about it. Tastes gnarly though.” Melody shuddered and gnashed her fangs.
“That’s going to take some getting used to,” Ginny said, staring at the new set of fangs.
“That’s what Alex said,” Melody sighed. “He didn’t expect me to actually go through with the ritual.”
“Was he furious?” Hermione asked, her eyes wide.
“At first. Nemesis wasn’t exactly clear on how it would work but you know they couldn’t kill me.”
“What happened?” Ginny asked.
“Well,” Melody sat down, her brow furrowed in thought. “You know I wanted Alex to have his life back and Nemesis offered me that chance. I figured the boys weren’t breast feeding anymore so they couldn’t be harmed if we did it. Honestly, all I remember is a searing pain in my chest and then Alex screaming. Next thing I know, I woke up and I was a daywalker…and so was he.”
“So, he’s just like Severus?” Hermione asked.
“Not exactly.” Melody frowned. “I’m not either. We can go out into daylight of course; that was our main goal. He’s warm now too, beating heart and everything. Our fangs are different. We don’t form bonds through a bite. Alex can still turn to mist. I can’t turn into a wolf or a bat. I think that’s because he was a vampire so long and I wasn’t a daywalker. We already had our forms established. Neither one of us craves blood but…the smell is intoxicating. I know why it’s so hard to resist now.”
Hermione smirked. “What does he taste like?”
Melody grinned wickedly and licked her lips. “The most sinful caramel pecan brownies.”
“Sounds delicious,” Hermione groaned, her stomach growling a bit.
Melody chuckled. “Kiddos sound hungry. Want a snack? I brought a couple of cereal bars. It should tide you over until the reception.”
“That sounds good,” Hermione sighed, cursing herself. “I hate this.”
Melody laughed again. “Best get used to it. Twins are tough.”
“How are the boys, by the way?” Ginny asked.
“Doing good.” Melody smiled. “We’ve decided to call Alex dad and Severus father, like two different titles. I hope they don’t get confused but…well, Sev is their father. I don’t want to push him out like that or reduce his importance. I…I wasn’t at all happy at first but…I, well, I think I’m grateful now. I wouldn’t have Zacharias and Nathanial now if it weren’t for him and I couldn’t imagine my life without them now.”
“I think it sounds fine. As long as you’re honest, I don’t see a problem with it.” Ginny shrugged. “It’s uncommon in the wizarding world but I don’t take much stock in all that traditional crap.”
Hermione laughed. “It really isn’t that uncommon in the muggle world. Surrogate parents are a common thing, as are anonymous sperm donors and fertility treatments that are unheard of in the wizarding world.” She frowned at the thought. “Come to think of it, I don’t see why they aren’t used in our world.”
“Fertility potions are,” Melody said. “They’re just considered dark because the ingredients are rather, well, disturbing in nature. I’m sure there’s a way to create one with lighter ingredients but no one has ever tackled it before, too caught up in skin wrinkle remover I guess.”
“I bet Severus could make a fortune if he discovered one. Fertility problems are more common now,” Hermione said thoughtfully.
“That,” Ginny interrupted, her voice a bit bitter, “is because of pureblood supremacy. You can’t inbreed so much without having problems down the line. That’s also the reason they don’t have surrogates. Everyone’s so caught up on their damn family trees; a surrogate would throw it off. The enchanted scrolls follow blood itself and don’t allow for bastards and a surrogate would be considered that.”
“Their loss,” Melody said, her eyes going unfocused. “I love my boys and Sev’s the only way I have them, the only way I’d want anyway. I’d like a clue how they’d turn out at least.”
“Just hope they got your sense of humor along with his temper,” Ginny giggled.
“I’d rather they have his temper.” Melody grinned. “Merlin knows I can’t control my own. I just hope they get his intelligence.”
“You’re both brilliant. They’ll be little geniuses,” Hermione chided.
“I don’t know. You’re little ones will probably knock them for a loop. You and Draco are quite bright.” Melody stared at her stomach, her lips thinning in contemplation. “They’ll have lots of problems though.”
“Why?” Hermione asked in alarm.
“They’re so powerful,” Melody breathed. “It’s to be expected, of course, but they’re going to need training from the very beginning to keep it under control. “
“Are they…unbalanced?” Hermione asked in fright.
“No.” Melody cocked her head. “It’s…like nothing I’ve ever seen. They, well, they are, damn. It’s hard to explain. Imagine your power stuffed into a box with Draco’s. It’d be bursting at the seams right?”
Hermione nodded. “We still have to duel every now and then to keep from having buildup.”
“Right! Well, imagine that split in half. Still stupidly powerful but balanced. They’ll be subject to buildups and emotions will make it worse of course. I’d say they’re a half step down from Harry and Ginny, more powerful than my sister though.”
“I thought you said that phenoms were more powerful.” Ginny’s eyebrows furrowed.
“I did.” Melody nodded. “And they are, but Harmony’s balanced now, remember? Well, as balanced as she can be. She’s still more powerful than a normal balanced person but not these two. Like I said, I’ve never seen anything like it.”
“Is…is it-” Ginny blew out a frustrated breath. “Will mine…”
Melody smiled. “He’ll be fine. He’s powerful, don’t worry about that, but he won’t be volatile. I suspect the twins are like that because of Hermione and Draco’s nature. It’s hard to stuff all that power into two kids. I’d hate to see what would happen if you just have one.”
“You think that’s why I have twins?” Hermione asked, rubbing her stomach.
“It’s why I have them,” Melody said with a shrug. “The fates, they are vicious and cruel but they aren’t stupid. They know how to create balance, even if they have to create unbalance first for it to level out.”
“So the boys are phenoms?” Hermione asked, her eyebrows almost in her hairline.
“I thought I already told you that.” Melody bit her lip in thought. “Huh. Well, yes they are, only about five percent off though, just like Cadence and Rhapsody. The girls have other powers but they’re phenoms as well. Should be interesting when they go to find their mates.”
“They have soul mates already?” Ginny’s eyes were as wide as saucers.
Melody chuckled. “They do. I think it’s probably a phenom thing, although Harmony doesn’t have one.” She frowned. “I think that was a mistake though, possibly because they knew we’d have to do that ritual and she’d be normal after that.”
“So if she was normal, why are the girls unbalanced?” Ginny asked.
“Same reason the boys are. Our cores are still structurally the same. It registers the unbalance…or the fates just want to fuck with us again.”
“I vote the second,” Ginny snorted. “They’re good at that.”
“Which is why you are getting married publicly before you hit proper age,” Melody chuckled.
“Tell me about it,” Ginny said miserably while rubbing her stomach and then continued in a nasally voice. “You’ve already been married over a year. You need to multiply.”
“At least you aren’t showing yet,” Hermione groused and looked hopelessly in the mirror at her bulging stomach.
“The Gods and creation,” Melody sniffed and threw her hands up. “Come on, Arthur’s about to knock on the door.”
The wedding was gorgeous. Narcissa had gone a bit overboard, claiming that she wasn’t going to have a little girl to spoil so she wanted to plan Draco’s wedding. When they told her it was going to be a double wedding, she cried with joy. The more the merrier she claimed. She and Molly had fallen into an odd sort of alliance, bombarding the girls with fabric choices, menu plans, seating charts, flower selections, and music arrangements. The girls didn’t have the heart to tell them that they didn’t care in the slightest since they’d already been married.
Melody had stayed true to her word, setting Rita’s hair on fire the second she saw the reporter slinking around the heavily warded area beside the Burrow. No one would spoil their day. They honestly couldn’t understand how Rita even had the courage to come back, considering Melody had sent her to St. Mungo’s when Severus and Celeste got married. They’d had a tiny wedding, family and close friends the only ones invited. Severus had gone a bit overboard, combining the ancient bonding ceremony and a hand fasting to make sure he’d claimed Celeste in every possible way.
“I want them to know you’re mine,” he had growled as he slipped a diamond studded black leather collar around Celeste’s neck.
“I’m sure they got the message,” Celeste had laughed as she kneeled, her swelling belly making it hard for her to hold the position.
“Now they’ll get it loud and clear,” Severus whispered and swept her off the floor, grabbing the port key and leaving a slew of chuckling guests in their wake.
After the Potters and Malfoys had their hand fasting and said their vows, they looked out into the congregation and just observed while Albus said some words in memory for those who had fallen and couldn’t be with their loved ones. Remus and Tonks were sitting in the front row next to Hermione’s parents, little Teddy waving happily from his daddy’s lap. His turquoise hair often changed to Malfoy platinum, the boy taking quite the liking to Draco. Remus smiled warmly at them, his eyes a bit wet with emotions. His face bore a few marks from the battle, the charred flesh still growing back in spots. He’d have small white scars from the attack but he was happy to escape with his life. If they ever needed anything, Remus was there with bells on.
On the opposite side, Narcissa sat proudly next to Demitri. The vampire had taken the sunlight potion so he could be there for the event. It was a bit unsettling but the vampire insisted that he’d never felt so alive in all his years and he wasn’t about to let a good thing go. Narcissa had admitted to Draco that she’d never felt so loved, to which he responded by insisting she take a potion to stop the vampire thrall. Her feelings never changed so he was content, thanking the vampire for treating his mother so well.
Next to them were Severus and Celeste. The dour man was dressed in his familiar black robes, his face expressionless. His eyes though, they gave him away. They were filled with pride, proud of his son for the man he’d become. He was proud of his daughters too. Little Aiden was sitting in his lap, happily chewing on a rattle charmed so that he was the only one who could hear it. Celeste gave a brilliant smile as she laid her head on his shoulder, the slight pooch in her stomach barely visible. They’d ribbed them to no end when Celeste had gotten pregnant a mere two months after having Aiden. This time, it was a little girl and no one was happier than Severus, although he’d never admit it.
Alex and Melody sat behind them, each holding a solemn little boy. It was all the two couples could to do keep from laughing at them. They seemed to be a little carbon copy of their father, only showing emotions when they were in private. Out in public, their tiny faces were stoic. They were silent, never crying. Occasionally, they would scowl. Alex grinned back at them, his fangs poking out just so he could stir up a little fright. He was much happier now, if that were possible. No more sunlight potion, no more hunting for blood, and best of all, children he could call his own kept him in a permanent state of bliss. More than once, Melody had threatened to smack his goofy smile right off his face. The vampire cum daywalker would simply grin and kiss her silly and then take the boys for a walk. Melody would shake her head and rest for a bit.
Harmony and Philippe sat next to them, little Cadence and Rhapsody giggling madly on their laps. The girls were an absolute joy to be around but they were slow to warm around strangers. The only ones they accepted that weren’t phenoms were Ron and Luna. To those who they considered family, simply holding them was a delight. Melody had teased Harmony mercilessly for giving her children musical names.
“It’s tradition,” Harmony would sigh. “I’m not going to break tradition.”
Melody would snort and shake her head. “I’m pretty sure we did that the day we were born.”
“Still, mom would have wanted it,” Harmony would say softly and Melody would smile and nod her head, dropping the argument for the moment.
Hermione sat down heavily at a table in the back of the tent. The reception seemed to go on forever and she was getting tired. Her head was pounding and all she wanted to do was get out of there.
“All right love?” Draco asked softly and rubbed her shoulders.
“You think they could possibly gossip any louder?” Hermione asked sourly.
“I’m sure they could say it out loud,” Draco said dryly.
A year away to remote and foreign lands had made them forget just how sensitive their hearing was. They’d been all over the world, taking in the sights and soaking up the knowledge and cultures. It was during their trip to China that Nemesis had come to them and said they were to return home and begin their life. Shortly after, they’d discovered that Hermione was pregnant with twins. A few months after that, Ginny had turned up pregnant and Molly had insisted they marry before she started to show.
Since no one had seen or heard from the pure couple in that year, well, rumors flew. They’d been in the country dozens of times, coming for little Teddy’s birthday, Severus and Celeste’s wedding, and the birth of both sets of twins. They’d even snuck into Hogsmeade under glamours to meet with Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Luna. They tried to stay out of the limelight though. Their immense display of power had truly scared people and they figured that an ‘out of sight, out of mind’ approach was probably best. It had effectively erased Melody from most people’s memories, those that didn’t know her that well.
“Fuck them,” Melody growled and plopped down next to Hermione. “I’m thinking of making that my new motto.”
“Much better than your old one,” Draco said dryly.
“Yes well, moms aren’t supposed to be fun, are they?”
“I don’t know. I think every mum is different,” Ron said as he held a chair out for Luna.
“You know Weasley,” Melody said, her head cocked. “Sometimes, you shock the hell out of me.”
Ron grinned. “Thanks.”
“So when are you two going to take the plunge?” Melody asked.
Ron shrugged. “Whenever Luna wants. She’s got a standing invitation.”
“I still want to find a Crumple Horned Snorkack first,” Luna said breezily.
“That could take forever,” Hermione grumbled, her headache making her a bit surly.
Luna shrugged. “He loves me.”
Draco chuckled. “Right you are. Now, would you like a headache potion sweetheart?”
“Please,” Hermione moaned.
“Here,” Severus said as he placed a vial by her elbow. “Don’t let them get to you.”
Hermione slammed the potion back and grimaced at the taste. “I quit caring what they say long ago. It’s the incessant nattering about that is bugging me.”
Severus chuckled under his breath. “We could give them all Draught of the Living Death.”
Hermione gave him a genuine smile. “I don’t suppose you have enough to dose everyone though, do you?”
Severus quirked an eyebrow. “I might…but don’t expect me to cuddle kittens after this.”
Hermione burst into uncontrollable laughter.
“What the devil? Has she gone round the bend?” Ron asked.
“Inside joke,” Harmony said, walking up with Cadence in her arms. “Although I think I would like to see everyone get their comeuppance. I’ve never seen such a bunch of two faced hypocrites in my life.”
Melody snorted. “Yes you have, just not gathered in one place together. It’s a proverbial cauldron of stupid with just a dash of pompous ass thrown in.”
“Just a dash?” Severus asked dryly.
“Point taken,” Melody sighed.
“Where’s Harry and Ginny?” Ron asked, looking around.
Melody looked around and then frowned. “Getting their asses reamed for not telling Molly that they were married beforehand.”
“About that,” Ron frowned.
“Stuff it Ron. It was necessary,” Hermione growled.
“I just wish you would have told me,” Ron snapped.
“That would have gone over like a lead balloon and you know it.” Melody grimaced. “I better go take the blame for this one.”
“Already done,” Alex said, coming up behind her. “Molly’s fast on the draw but she freezes when she sees fangs.”
“So why is she still yelling at them?” Melody’s eyes were narrowed as she stared at the Burrow.
“She’s blubbering,” Alex shrugged. “Can’t believe she missed her baby’s actual wedding.”
“They’ll talk her down,” Harmony said confidently. “Wait until she sees the markings.”
Melody burst out laughing. “Oh that’ll be fun.”
“How come Snape doesn’t have markings?” Ron asked.
“Because Snape,” Severus drawled, “doesn’t wish to draw undue attention to himself.”
“And he’s dressed from throat to toes in black,” Melody said snidely.
“Shut it,” Severus snapped.
“Make me,” Melody taunted.
“You know I could.” Severus quirked an eyebrow.
“You’re on,” Melody said, her eyes narrowing in challenge. “How much longer do we have to stay here?”
“Molly wrestled us into a vow to stay until the end,” Draco sighed and started rubbing Hermione’s upper back. “You can go though.”
“Nah. We just need to liven the place up a bit,” Melody said, biting her lips in contemplation.
“What did you have in mind?” Draco asked.
“Oh, just a bit of…entertainment. I’m hoping it will outrage everyone enough to leave.” Melody looked pointedly at Harmony.
“Well, outrage is an understatement.” Harmony giggled. “Find Celeste. You’re on.”
“What are you planning?” Severus asked.
“Conjure a stage Sev. We’re gonna sing.” Melody smiled.
“The children?” Severus drawled.
“It’s their naptime. Fleur’s watching most of them. Put the others down and…recruit Molly.” Melody eyes were gleaming with mischief.
“Oh this is going to be good,” Ron breathed and ran to the house to convince his mother to watch all the babies.

Melody breezed through the front door of the ranch, cackling and holding up the Daily Prophet that Archimedes had brought her. It was hard to get the newspaper in America but it was worth it. Everyone eyed her suspiciously as she plopped it down on the front table.
“We’re a hit!”
“Oh really?” Celeste asked. Little Aiden was draped over her shoulder sound asleep.
“Read it.”
Outrageous Spectacle at Potter and Malfoy Wedding
The combine weddings of The Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter and Ginerva Weasley, and Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger were beautiful. The flowers, the food, the…..
Until the catastrophe at the end of the reception. Several unidentified women conjured a stage and began to sing outrageously lewd muggle songs, scandalizing the guests and defiling the ears of young ones…
Celeste chuckled. “Defiling the ears of young ones.”
“Well, apparently no one asked the kids or they’d know I put an age line up for hearing,” Melody snorted. “Still, I’d say we made an impact.”
“I’ll say,” Celeste laughed. “Well, pass it around. It isn’t every day you get to cause your very own scandal.”
“Speak for yourself,” Harry said sourly.
“Oh come now Potter,” Severus smiled evilly. “This time, you agreed whole heartedly. You should be happy.”
“Well,” Harry hemmed, trying to fight back a laugh. “I suppose it is funny.”
“To Potter’s new infamy!” Draco raised his coffee mug.
“To infamy!” Everyone repeated.

“Mummy, Daddy, I want to go to Hogwarts.” Little Lily Potter pouted on the steps of Platform 9 ¾. Her sleek black hair was whipping around and soft brown eyes were filled with tears because her brothers were getting to go without her.
“Don’t worry Lily,” Harry patted his little girl’s head. “You’ll go soon enough.”
“But it’s a whole year away!”
“A year you get the house all to yourself,” Melody said brightly. “Just think about it. No one will pull your pigtails or push you off your broom.”
“Really?” Lily’s eyes lit up in delight.
“Yes really!” Melody laughed.
“Awesome!” Lily squeaked and ran to tell her granddad the good news.
“Anyone ever tell you that you’re a menace?” Harry smirked.
“Once or twice.” Melody laughed. “Where’s the boys?”
“James is probably telling Albus some more horror stories while they put their luggage up.” Ginny sighed, her eyes glued to Lily who was having a rather animated discussion with Arthur.
“Al’s tough.” Melody laughed. “He’ll be alright.”
“We’ll keep an eye on him.” Cadence said softly as she walked up. Her soft brown eyes were slightly strained, pain evident on her face.
“Here sweetheart.” Melody handed her a pair of sun glasses. “You’ll get used to it soon enough.”
“Thanks Aunt Melody,” Cadence said, slipping the glasses on and sighing. “Oh, that’s better.”
“Where’s Rhapsody?” Harry asked, looking around.
Cadence scoffed. “Probably trying to slip a puking pastille into Nate and Zach’s snack bags.”
“Make sure you have the antidote handy,” Melody said, mirth shining in her eyes.
“You’d think you didn’t love us,” Zach sniffed, his jade green eyes giving him away as they sparkled in joy.
“Now you two know that isn’t true.” Melody shook her head and hugged each of her boys in turn. “You have a good year. And no hexing anyone.”
“What?” The boys spoke in unison.
“Well, unless they deserve it,” Melody whispered and ushered them off to the train.
“I heard that,” Draco drawled as he walked up to the group.
“And you told Scorpius and Ara what?”
“Shut it,” Draco snorted.
“That’s what I thought,” Melody smiled. “Where’s the other half?”
“Arguing. Jacob and Rose are insisting that aren’t ready for Hogwarts yet.”
Melody’s smile slipped. “They still worried?”
“I think so. After Rose demolished the stairs last week, she’s been withdrawn. Jacob tried to make her feel better and ended up collapsing the swing.” Draco shook his head. He never guessed his children would be so powerful.
“I’m working on it Draco,” Melody said sadly. “I’m sorry I’m not faster but making binding jewelry that only dampens is slow going.”
“It’s not your fault. Scorp and Ara manage alright. They’ve agreed to keep an eye on them for us. Albus and Remus said they’d notify us if anything bad happens so we can come back and help them.”
“It’s good they’re going to Hogwarts and not Salem.” Melody said, biting her lip. “At least we have friends here. Remus is teaching DADA again this year, isn’t he?”
“He is,” Hermione said, walking up with their youngest set of twins in tow.
“Hey guys,” Melody said happily, her eyes scanning them for any sense of impending implosion.
“Hi Aunt Melody,” They said shyly. Jacob and Rose were much softer spoken than Scorpius and Ara. While the first set of twins was carefree and fearless, the second were cautious, scared of their powers.
“Buck up,” Scorpius said from behind them. He shook his blonde hair out of his steel grey eyes and gave them a winning smile. “We’ll hex anyone who dares to look at you cross eyed.”
“It’s not them we’re worried about,” Rose whispered. She didn’t need to say it any louder. All the Malfoy’s had excellent hearing, a residual left over from Severus’s blood bond with Draco. She shook her head, her curly chestnut hair falling over her silver eyes.
Ara sighed, brushed her straight blond hair out of her face and trained her warm gold eyes on her younger sister. “Rose, nothing’s going to happen. We’ll help you out.”
“What if it does?” Jacob said petulantly. His brown hair hung in ringlets around his head. His amber eyes were filled with fear.
“Then we blame the Zabinis,” Scorpius said with a mischievous smile.
“Scorpius!” Hermione snapped.
“Fine,” Scorpious sighed, and ushered his younger siblings towards the train. He grinned and bent down right at the entrance. “If it happens, tell Aiden and he’ll scare the bejesus out of them.”
“Scorpius!” Hermione yelled impotently as her oldest son bounded on the train.
“Well that’s not very nice, is it?” Aiden’s soft voice stopped Hermione from jumping on the train and giving her wayward son an earful.
“Hey.” Melody turned around, giving Severus and Celeste a huge grin. “Thought you two skipped out on us.”
“Sev was just threatening Rhapsody within an inch of her life.” Celeste shook her head.
“What did she do this time?” Melody sighed. That girl was so much like her it wasn’t funny.
“She made my nose bleed,” Serena huffed. Her long black hair fell in beautiful ringlets, a startling contrast between her pale skin and bright green eyes. She was a beautiful mix of her parents.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart,” Melody breathed. “Nosebleed nougat?”
Serena nodded sadly and kissed her mother goodbye. She gave her father a squeeze and boarded the train.
“Sorry Serena!” Rhapsody’s voice carried through the station. “I was going for Zach! That jerk switched my toothpaste with glue!”
“Uh oh,” Melody breathed as Rhapsody practically flew into the train, her brown hair flapping in the breeze. “Zach better watch himself.”
“I’ll fix it.” Aiden gave a long suffering sigh and kissed his mother’s cheek. He shook Severus’s hand and boarded the train.
Draco chuckled. “He’s just like you, father.”
“Hardly,” Severus sniffed. “And I’m glad for it.”
“Well, Scorpius had one thing right.” Harmony joined them, waving to her daughters. “Aiden will scare the bejesus out of anyone who messes with his family.”
“Like I said, just like father.” Draco grinned, earning a snort from Severus.
“Hey everyone!” Ron called, a trolley in tow. Luna trailed behind him with a small blond girl on her hip.
“Hey!” Harry called happily and looked down at Hugo and Leif. “Ready for your first year at Hogwarts?”
“You bet!” Hugo cried, his blue eyes wide in wonder.
“Why is everyone staring at us?” Leif asked, his red hair falling in his eyes.
“It’s me,” Ron said quickly. “I’m sort of famous.”
“Yea right. Come on, let’s find Al and Jacob!” Hugo cried and sprinted to the train. Ron grinned and carried their things over to the train.
“How are you Sable?” Harmony asked the shy girl in Luna’s arms.
“Awone,” she said grumpily and buried her head in Luna’s chest.
“Oh, you’ll never be alone sweetie.” Melody laughed. “You’ll have Lily all to yourself today!”
“I will?” The little girl peaked out.
“Sure thing. Come on you lot.” Ginny smiled. “Ron and Luna are taking Lily for the day. Let’s go have some lunch. Where’s Alex and Philippe?”
“Emergency at the clinic,” Harmony sighed. “They’ll be done in half an hour. Killed them to miss this though.”
“They’ll be fine,” Luna said serenely. “Tell them we said hello.”
“Will do.” Melody smiled. “Have fun. Here.” She handed Luna a small compact. “Call if you need us.”
“We will,” Luna said, shifting Sable so she could take the two way mirror. “Be careful.”
“Never can get anything past you, can we Luna?” Harry asked with a small smile.
Luna merely gave them a soft smile and wished them well, turning to find where her husband had run off to.
“We’re really going to do this?” Draco asked, his stomach in knots. Nemesis had contacted them all the night before, saying she had a small job for them. It was easy, take out one man early in the game. They hardly saw why they needed to do it but the Goddess insisted. They needed a game plan.
“Don’t we always?” Melody asked. “Come on Draco. We’re all in this together.”
Hermione took Draco’s hand and nodded. She was scared but they had a job to do and if it made the world a safer place for her children, so be it.
“Destiny awaits,” Harmony said as they popped out.
AN: Hello everyone. Well, that's it. *sniffles* I was going to get this up earlier but I got caught up editing it. Editing is about 1/4 of the way done. I'll post something in the summary to let you know when it's complete. For those of you who might have missed it, the Ron/Luna fic is up. It's called Finding Home. It's short, fluffeh, and sweet. Hope you like it. I can't believe this is it. Thanks to everyone soooooo much for your reviews. I went back and read them all. Do you have any idea how long it takes to read 344 reviews? Not long enough!!! I'm an adict. I'll go through withdrawls! Well, until the sequel. I hope to see you all soon. As always, keep those reviews coming and let me know how you like the story and if you found any errors. Until the next story... LOVE YOU GUYS!
