Severus1snape: I like confusing my readers, sorry :p
Chapter 59-
The boy giggled at her words, finding them incredibly hilarious. "You're people?"
Dahlia didn't slow down her walking. As she passed the room where all the talking came from, she glanced inside it, noticing several hundred people in it. She had never seen so many people in one room before. Divinity had only 566 citizens. There were larger cities that homed more of her people, but the Divians in Divinity preferred that new families branched out instead of over populating their sacred city. Most of the population consisted of ancient family names dating back from the dawn of their existence.
"Yes, my people." She answered him. For some reason, he felt the need to continue to follow her. "Why won't you leave me alone?"
The boy scoffed. "You're a halfblood, Dahlia. Half wizard, half muggle, both of which have marriage ceremonies."
Dahlia laughed. "Muggle? That's a good one, kid!"
"You're mother is muggle."
"My mother was not a muggle." Dahlia insisted through grit teeth. This boy just would not get it!
Dahlia rounded a corner as he went on to explain the background of who he thought she was. She could tell him what she was. She could show him even. But it would not be a wise thing to do. Wizards couldn't quite comprehend the powers that Divians could do. They wouldn't like the idea that Divians were able to do more than they could. It was better that wizards just didn't realize the Divians' full potentials.
The boy continued to walk with her. She realized he really was dedicated to this whole marriage thing to the girl he confused her with. "Look, you seem like a lovely boy. Coming from the Malfoy bloodline, you probably have social and financial power, something that a lot of witches look for in a wizard, and, if it were at all possible, I could even consider you as my mate-" he twisted his lips into a funky angle when she had said this. "-but, my relationship with the opposite gender is more complicated than you could ever imagine. And, to be honest, kid, you're just too young for me. Besides that, you are too young to even think about marriage."
"I'm too young for you?! We're the same age, Lia!"
"No... I'm seventeen, actually... and I doubt you've even hit puberty." Dahlia heard the boy's footsteps fall back. Maybe he realized that she wasn't who he thought she was finally. She hoped so.
As she approached another set of doors, a whizzing light smacked into the doors, just inches from her hands. Dahlia turned her head to see that the merlin boy was pointing a wand at her.
"Who are you?" He asked with a dangerous sounding drawl. "Why are you pretending to be my friend? And where is my friend?!"
Dahlia faced him to calmly address the situation. This boy was no match for her. She couldn't attack him, but what little spells he would know at such a young age, he couldn't harm her with. She had nothing to fear. He was in no comparison to Blake.
Blake...! She really needed to get back home...!
"I have not once said that I was this Dahlia Dursley." She said, forcing herself to remain calm. "In fact, I've made myself several times clear that I am not this girl everyone thinks I am."
"But you look like her! You dress like her! And sound like her!" He cried. "What have you done with her?! Have you concocted a polyjuice potion? Is that it? Drank it to be her? I swear if you had, I'll curse your toes off!"
Dahlia's toes wiggled anxiously at his threat. "You don't really know such curses..." she told him.
He let out a scoff. "Don't be so sure." He sneered. "You'd be amazed on what I picked up in my short span of life! You'll tell me right now who you are or you will find out just exactly what curses I do know!"
Dahlia licked her lips nervously. What could she tell him really? That she was some exotic being from the future? He'd never believe it were true.
"Well?!" He flicked his wand and her wrists were brought together in front of her with a spell. "Explain yourself!"
"Don't do this, kid..." she whispered, struggling with the bind. "It's bad to harm someone. It's extremely damaging to the soul..."
"My name is Draco Malfoy! Stop calling me kid!"
Dahlia narrowed her eyes at the boy ten feet from her, who was ready to try and force information out of her. "Draco Malfoy? The first?"
"What do you mean 'the first'?! Merlin, you make no sense!"
"Uh..." she closed her eyes in thought in an effort to remember his parents' names. "Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy's son?"
"Of course!" He snapped.
Even with a wand pointed to her, Dahlia allowed herself to smirk. "Well, isn't that something..."
"What?!"
"I'm afraid I must be going, Draco Malfoy. Give my regards to Sir Harry Potter, if you would." She gave him a wink, before summoning up a cloud of hazy, black smoke between them. Draco Malfoy screeched out in surprise, and her wrists were released from his spell.
Dahlia slipped out of the doors into the rainy early morning. Off in the distance, she saw five grown thestrals with two younglings. They were stretching their legs at the edge of a tree line.
She could not believe her luck!
"Hey!" She called out breathlessly from the run she had just done to meet up with them. They were still nearly fifty yards away, but she wanted to make sure they knew she would cause them no harm.
The group looked up at her. The biggest one nodded his head and took a quick flight, landing just a few feet from her. He raised one of his hooves in a welcome and Dahlia approached him, taking his huge hoof into her hands.
"If you don't mind, I need one of your hairs. I can give you something in return..." she conjured an apple and transfigured it into a slab of meat.
The thestral took her offering eagerly. In just a couple quick bites, the gift was gone. He nudged her arm in such a gentle way that she barely felt it.
"You're welcome." She whispered, tapping his nose. His bushy tail swung happily as he let her know that it was her turn to receive a gift. "Thanks so much!" She exclaimed and extracted the needed item, tying it around her wrist. The thestral then went back to his family.
Now it would be easier to travel, the amount of people who could see her had just been limited. She could have used one of them to fly her to Dundee, but she didn't much like flying, and thestrals had the fastest flying speed of all creatures that have so far been discovered. If only she could make teleportals like Gerad, but Blake was right, besides her status of being The Holder, she was nothing special. Perhaps even below average compared to the other Divians.
With a sad sigh, she began her long walk to Dundee, the closest portal to Divinity that she knew of.

"Sir!" Draco gasped out, stopping Severus in the hall. Draco was breathing hard, and, when he met up with him, he bent over to catch his breath.
"What is it?" Severus asked impatiently. He had more important things to do besides help a boy with his adolescent problems. Miss Dursley needed her potion.
"Someone is pretending to be Dahlia!" Draco said through a series of deep breaths. "I think they are dark too. They performed a dusky cloud- with no wand! And then, I watched them disappeared into thin air! Out by the forest! As if they had apparat-"
"Nonsense!" Severus interrupted with a growl. "Show me where you last seen this person! Hurry now!"
Severus followed Draco down a flight of stairs and out into the back of the Hogwarts grounds. Draco pointed out towards the forest. "She disappeared there."
After a look, Severus asked, "Did she take flight?"
"No, sir. Just disappeared from sight altogether."
"Find the Headmaster and tell him that he will need to substitute my class for the day."
"Yes, Professor!" Draco took off in a hurry to proudly give the message.
When the boy was gone, Severus made haste to the thestrals that stood at the spot that Draco had pointed to. They must have contributed to Miss Dursley's disappearance.
The head of the herd, Pegasus, approached him. "The girl, Pegasus, I need to find her..." Severus requested softly. "She's not well in her head."
Pegasus gave a high screech, sounding much like a hawk before kneeling down for Severus to mount him.
"Much appreciated." Severus climbed abroad, securing and preparing himself for an uncomfortable, windy, and damp flight. Damn Gryffindors. He thought bitterly. Slytherins are never this much bloody trouble.

Hogsmead. It was a little town just three miles from Hogwarts. It normally would have been pretty, but the dreary weather made the town look depressing. Not much was going on outside in the streets, but each building was busy on the inside, and cheerily lit, successfully providing a happy atmosphere.
Dahlia walked on passed the many shops, rubbing her arms for warmth, wishing she had brought a coat. Her dress was now drenched from the rain, and her shoes were mudded with filth. The cold, showing water, having nothing to soak it up anymore, was trailing down every inch of her body. She began to shiver. Oh, how she hated the rain.
Dundee was three hundred miles away; how would she manage that amount of distance on foot? Especially if it were going to rain the whole time. She missed her always sunny city. A place that she could be so happy to live in, if only Blake wasn't in her life.
Her fingers started tingling, making her stop her movement. Dahlia fisted her hands, knowing what was about to follow. She heard a very faint wail, and the tingle turned into an excruciating sting. Dahlia bit back her own cry, and ran towards the person who was hurt. She didn't exactly know what she was going to come across, but as the pain got worse in her hands, and traveled with a fade up to her elbows, she knew she wasn't too far from the person needing help.
And there she lay on her back. An elderly woman, clasping a hand to her chest and gasping for air. The rain pelted her face, making her close her eyes from the sting.
"HEL-P!" The woman struggled to cry out.
Dahlia fell onto her knees next to the woman. "I'm here." She said soothingly, taking one of the woman's hand in hers. "You'll be alright..." she squeezed the woman's hand and sent her to sleep. Dahlia felt the woman's heart instantly slow to this. She pressed both her hands to the woman's chest, discovering that she had a hole in her heart.
Dahlia bit her lip. It would take a bit to heal, but it wasn't impossible to do.
"Aye, Little Lady." A man greeted Dahlia, bringing the girl from her healing trance.
"Please, sir, don't disturb me..." she requested as gently as she could.
"Is your grandmother alright? Do ye' need some help?"
Dahlia removed her hands and looked up at a short man who wore an over sized dark blue rain slicker, hat, and boots. She was surprised that he could see her, but maybe he was there for a reason...
"Could we move her inside? She really needs out of the weather."
"Certainly so!" The man said. "Step aside, and I'll transport her." He fetched his wand from inside his slicker, and moved the old woman easily into the nearest shop while Dahlia held the door open for him.
"Thanks, sir!" Dahlia said hastily and went back to mending the damaged heart that was causing the woman's trouble. "You're better now, Ma'am." Dahlia whispered a long while later. "Wake up and we'll you get a nice warm cup of tea."
The woman's eyes fluttered open, squinting up at her. "Dear child!" She gasped, arising up from the ground. "You saved me!"
Dahlia bit her lip. The woman could see her too... Her plan to hide was not working out too well. "I... just thought you'd like a cup of tea."
The woman smiled. "I would like that very much. Come." She gestured toward a pink clothed table. "We'll dine here. Are you hungry?"
"I don't have time... I must get back home."
"Well, you shouldn't be traveling alone!" The woman huffed. "Where's your home. I can apparate you there."
"Dundee."
"Dear me! You're so far away from home, where are your parents!?"
"I am kinda lost... that's all."
"Let's get you a warm stomach, and then I'll take you to Dundee, it'll be much more quicker than walking on foot!"
Dahlia smiled. "Thanks a lot, Ma'am."
"Please call me Agatha."
"And I'm Dahlia."
"A lovely name!" Agatha said, sitting down at the table. It was already set and ready for tea. The shop wasn't very busy, perhaps not all too popular due to the overly cuteness of the decor, but it quickly warmed Dahlia up. She enjoyed such colors.
"Agatha, I did not bring any currency with me." Dahlia announced suddenly with shame. That was the second thing she should had thought about before leaving Hogwarts.
"Oh, don't you worry about that." Agatha waved her off as the waitress approached them and handed out a menu to her. "One for my friend here too..."
The waitress looking at her funny and glanced at Dahlia's chair, unable to see her. "There's no one there, Agatha." She said softly. "Are you alright? Do I need to contact your daughter?"
"The girl just saved my life!" Agatha shrieked. "You best see her!"
"Wait..." Dahlia said and untied the thestral hair from her wrist.
"Ah, I see now!" The waitress said. "A concealing charm? Interesting!"
"Vegetable soup, please." Dahlia decided as soon as she seen it listed on the menu. "I'll also have your Melonberry tea."
"Good choice!" The witch said cheerily, snapping the gum that she was chewing.
"I'll have the same, thank you, Mystie."
"Coming right up, Agatha!"
When the food was served, Dahlia realized then that she was overly hungry, not remembering when the last time she ate was. "Thank you so much for this, Agatha." She said gratefully.
"I owe you my life, after all, Dahlia."

Pegasus had landed just outside of Hogsmead, and lowered down so Severus could dismount from him.
"She's here? Are you sure?"
The thestral nodded in an answer.
"Thank you." He said, and started along the path to the abundance of shops trickled throughout the town. He conjured up an umbrella. He hated umbrellas, it made him look silly, even though it was coloured pitch black to match his robes. Still... he hated water more.
Severus looked through each shop window as he passed, hoping to find the retched girl so he could get out of the weather. He stopped dead in his tracks when he seen her in the tea shop. "Of course..." he muttered. Should he had expected any differently?
If anyone seen him go in there, he would die of humiliation right there on the spot. And black stood out too well against four walls of pink.
