Summary: Slash. Harry/Draco. Shadows fall at Hogwarts and Harry is full of pain and hatred. Finding he�s the only one to turn to for comfort, Harry falls into the arms of Draco and finds him to be more than meets the eye.

Wow, I get all flustered just thinking of it. Real Harry and Draco, talk about a fantasy. So as you can see, none of that exists ( much to my disappointment). I�m with bare hands here. I think you get the point *grumbles*

Finally arriving at the library, Draco sighed and the two took a seat.
�Harry, I don�t know what the mark means. The only thing I can tell you is that it looks like a Dark Mark. Though, when I do touch it, it changes. The Dark Mark most defiantly doesn�t do that.�
�Draco, I know. I�m so confused. I suppose we�ll just have to dig our way through books to find our answers. Whether you like it or not, your involved in this.�
�Alright Harry, I�ll help. I do expect something in return though.� Draco winked and Harry smiled.
�Oh, you�ll get it. Trust me,� Harry said while licking his lips.
Draco got up from the table they were seated at and went to a unknown section of the library. Harry watched him go and stood. �Alright, I need a book on symbols and marks then. Where can I find that,� Harry thought to himself. �Ah, here we are.� Harry looked for a section that was somewhat relevant to the subject he nd and and was surprised to find a small section titled Symbols and Marks: Tattoos . �Perfect�

A fairly large amount of time had passes as Harry was looking through countless books he had pulled from the shelve. He wasn�t having luck finding what he needed and was starting to become discouraged.
�Harry!�
Harry looked up from his book to see Draco walking quickly towards him with a large book in his hand.
�Harry, I think I might have found something.�
�Really Draco? Where did you go off to anyway?�
�Oh, I was just in a small section Snape keeps for privileged Slytherins. Now, I was looking through this book and found something extremely interesting. I�m not really sure if it is true or not though.�
Harry looked at the book and read the section Draco had pointed out.
Prometheus and Aphrodite
It was once said, Prometheus, a known god that held the element of fire within his grasp, and Aphrodite, a goddess who fell under the reign of the element water, fell into each others grasp. From the two, a love story was created that could rival that of any of the gods. Aphrodite, also known as a goddess seduced by the realms of love, fell victim to that of Prometheus. A love affair was born, but the two were forced to walk along separate paths. As a measure to reunite their love in the future, the two produced a mortal child which sprang from their loins.

�Draco, what does this have to do with anything?�
�Harry,� Draco sighed, �look at the bottom of the page and read what the author wrote.�
Hearing the story of the two gods has always been a large interest of mine. I have come to speculate, the two mortal children the lovers had (which was an asexual experience on both of their parts), are walking among us today. I conversed with a gypsy widow at one point in my life and she told me a very interesting fact. She said she had had a vision one evening. The descendants of Prometheus and Aphrodite were living to this day. Two humans, both of the male gender, would one day find each other and rekindle the love their ancestors had for each other. Prometheus�s descendant would be able to wield the element of fire, as Aphrodite�s descendant would be able to wield the element of water. Prometheus�s descendant would be betrayed by those closest to him and would receive a mark upon his right arm that would remind him of the treachery that was brought against him. When Aphrodite�s descendant would touch the mark, it would change to show the love that lay within his heart. I analyzed the story that I was told and found it could possibly be true. If it is, the two descendants that would hold animosity towards each other in which would then turn to love, could cause great destruction upon the Earth.

�Draco,� Harry said quietly, � uh, you don�t think that-�
�I�m not sure Harry,� Draco interrupted, � It would explain a lot, though leave many questions.�
Harry looked into Draco�s eyes. �We need to find Snape.� Draco nodded in agreement.

Draco walked into Professor Snape�s office with the gigantic book within his grasp. Looking at the Professor, Draco was not surprised to see a rosy tent to his skin that told of his previous activities. Draco made a mental note not to do anything sexual in Snape�s class again. He cringed in disgust. Harry walked in the room behind Draco, just in time to see him cringe. He took one look at Snape a busted out with laughter, Draco glared.
�Well, well,� Snape said while looking up from the stack of essays he was currently grading, �may I assist you in anyway boys?� Snape licked his lips and winked.
�No, no,� Harry said in a rush, � nothing like that, we actually have a serious question.�
�Oh,� Snape said, disappointment lacing his voice. �Well, what is it then.�
Draco set the book upon Snape�s desk and pointed to the article Harry was previously reading.
�Yes, I am very well aware of this story. What does it have to do with either of you?�
�Well, you see Professor,� Harry said with a hint of hesitance in his voice.
�Get on with it Potter,� Snape said in annoyance
�First,� Harry said, � how do we know you won�t run off to tell Dumbledore what we tell you?�
�Oh, for Merlin�s sake Potter,� Professor said slowly, � I am not a spy for that foolish man. He only thinks I am. I act as a spy for Dumbledore and Voldemort so that I can keep my own life in check. Having loyalties to both of them would give me knowledge about the future attacks. I would also side with the victor of the war.�
�Smart Slytherin,� Draco muttered, �interesting way of doing things.�
� Yes, well, will you tell me now? Dinner will be starting soon and I wouldn�t fancy missing it.� Snape looked at Harry expectantly.
�Oh, well, I had a dream when I was at the Dursley�s this summer. It showed me the truth behind Hermione, Ron, and my �friendship�. When I awoke, I had this,� Harryved ved his tattooed arm at Snape, � on my arm. It told me of their betrayal. When Draco touches it, it changes.�
�Uh, well, that�s quite interesting. I want to see what it does when Mr. Malfoy touches it. Touch it Mr. Malfoy, touch it,� Snape commanded with a sick smirk across his lips.
�Argh! Do you have to be so perverted? You�re a Professor !!� After making this remark, Draco grabbed Harry�s arm and touched the lettering with his index finger. The tattoo changed into the familiar snake.
�I see. This should mean that the two of you will be able to control an element then. If this is at all true, Mr. Potter should be able to control fire, and you, Mr. Malfoy, should be able to control water. I will need a couple of days to research this before we can test the theory that the two of you are descendants of gods.�
�Yes sir,� Harry sighed, � We�re off to dinner then. Thank you.�
�Oh, anytime Mr. Potter, and if you would like to visit me when the situation isn�t involving anything to do with school or weird marks, feel free to do so.�
Draco glared
�Oh, you also Mr. Malfoy, no need to be jealous, we�ll all share together.�
Harry and Draco promptly ran from Professor Snape�s office

After dinner found the two boys laying atop one another in front of the fire in their room.
�Draco?� Harry inquired, �What do you think of all of this. We find out we might possibly be the recreations of two gods and that we might also wield the power of the elements. You�ve nothing to say about it?�
�Harry,� Draco sighed, � I don�t know what to say. I can�t change who we both are. I�ll just except it. Besides, if this all is true, it will be much easier for us to take over the world.� Draco started tracing the s ons on Harry�s wrist and the snake appeared.
Harry chuckled and wrapped his arms around Draco�s waist. Draco continued to trace his tattoo and Harry ran his left hand up and down Draco�s stomach.
Draco smiled, � I�ll let you know when I want that favor you owe me.�
