Part 6- Pain among the wild roses

Emperor look shocked that his grandson was this terrified. He pulled much of the energy back. He was sad that his own grandson was afraid of him. He remembered that Harry was not raised by them and that Harry did not know how to handle his outbursts.
Anna stepped in front of Harry and allowed her father to calm himself. She said, “Hadrian do not worry your grandfather just needs a moment to compose himself.”
Emperor knew that his daughter was correct and calmed down. He said, “Your mother is correct. I am sorry my young Hadrian. I just get extremely mad when I learn that one of my family has had their powers messed with. It brings out my darker side.”
Firion burst through the door and drew his weapons. He said, “I warned you, father. I will not let you hurt them. I swore to protect them at all cost.”
The Emperor look shocked that his son thought that he would hurt his family. He said, “I would never hurt them. I was upset that our little Hadrian had his powers messed with by that old fool.”
Harry stepped inbetween the Emperor and Firion. He growled, “No fighting amongst ourselves. If we do, then we play into his hands.”
Anna looked confused that her son showed signs of a purified mako power. She said, “I think you should calm down, young Hadrian.”
Harry growled lower, “I am calm.”
Vincent moved closer to Firion. He whispered, “He is releasing the block that Albus put on him. Keep up the fighting.” Vincent moved toward the Emperor and said the same to him. He nodded as both looked at him confused.
Firion pulled out his bow at Vincent's nod. He said, “I mean it father. I will protect my sister and her son.”
Severus ran in at the commotion. He said, “Firion, you must stop this.”
Firion turned to Severus and said, “I will not. My father broke what was promised to me and is now trying to hurt my sister again.” He turned his bow on Severus. He drew it back and continued, “You side with my father and not with your mate.”
Harry growled at Firion deeper, “You will not touch my father. Even if you are my uncle I will not allow it.”
Vincent said, “Let it go, Hadrian. Release the block. Protect our family.”
Harry growled and grabbed Firion by the throat. He said, “I will not let harm come to my father.” Harry tightened his grip on Firion. He growled, “Anyone who hurts my family dies by my hand.”
Anna said, “Hadrian, he is your uncle.”
Vincent grabbed Anna and said, “Firion must prove to our Hadrian that he is family. He must gain control of the mako power now that it is released. If not, then our Hadrian will go mad.”
Anna looked at Vincent and said, “You mean that the block is being torn down by our son.” She gasped at Vincent's nod.
Firion said, “If family means this to you, then by all means kill me my nephew.”
Harry eyes changed as he released Firion. He fell backwards and away from his family. He gasped as he realized that he almost killed his uncle.
Severus ran to Harry and said, “It is alright, my son. It is all over.”
Harry pulled away from Severus. He said, “No, I still feel it. It is not over. I should not be around you or I might kill you.” Harry looked at Firion with tears in his eyes and said, “I am sorry uncle. I never meant to hurt you. I am sorry.”
Firion said, “It is alright. I am unhurt. You did not hurt me Hadrian.” Firion showed Harry his neck and there was no mark left by Harry at all. Firion said, “Now do you see what I mean when I say that I am not hurt.”
Harry looked at Firion's neck and noticed that Firion was telling him the truth. He looked at his parents and said, “What happened?”
Emperor laughed and turned to Vincent. He said, “You broke what that old fool did to you. I could not be more prouder of you than when I seen you do that.” The Emperor gasped at the amount of power that he could sense from Harry.
Vincent said, “Not completely. Hadrian is still blocked off from his mako energy.” Vincent looked sad as he looked on at Harry. He was brokenhearted that everything he tried did not have a better effect on his son.
Anna said to Harry, “You tried to protect your family with your mako energy.”
Harry shook his head at hearing those words coming from his mother. He said, “I did a bad thing then. I will go punish myself. Albus told me that if I ever use that again I should die.”
Severus hearing this shouted, “HADRIAN!!!! Do not think that you did a bad thing you just wanted your family to remain intact. That old fool is the one who made the mistake because he wanted you to be his tool of death. You are my son and I forbid you to even think like that ever again. Do you understand me? You. Are. My. Son.”
Harry gave a sad smile to hear his father talk to him like he was back in his Potions class at Hogwarts.
Severus pulled Harry into an embrace.
Anna said, “Hadrian, listen to your father. He loves you and will be willing to die for you as would all those in this house. We must prepare our little Emperor for the battle that is to come.”
Lucius runs into the room after feeling an ache in his heart that he knew could only come from his mate. He said, “Hadrian, is everything alright? Are you hurt?”
Harry shook his head in reply and said, “I am alright now. I was just a little afraid for a moment.”
Lucius fell to his knees and hugged Harry as said, “I will protect you.”
Harry smiled and said, “I was afraid of myself. That you can not help me with or protect me from.”
Anna looked at the confused face of Lucius and said, “Do not think to much into this, Lucius. It will only confuse you more.”
Everyone in the room started laughing.
Harry looked around and said, “I think that I want to explore this manor more.” He rose and Lucius rose with him. Harry continues, “I want to do it alone. I mean how will I ever get the hang of navigating this castle if I don't go by myself.” With that Harry walked out of the room.
Lucius looked hurt that his mate wanted to do something like walk the manor's halls alone. Harry was his mate and he was a Malfoy. Lucius felt anger rising in his emotions until he felt Anna's hand touch his shoulder.
Anna said, “Hadrian needs time, Lucius. He has taken a great many steps today. He will take many more as time goes on.” She smiled at her son's steps to independence.

~Hallway of Manor~
Harry walked down the stairs and noticed Zidane talking softly to another man. He walks up to them and said, “Hello Zidane... and you are?”
The young man smiled and said, “Hello Hadrian. My name is Bartz. It is good to see you up and about.”
Harry smiled and nodded.
Zidane swallowed but remembered what Harry said to him. Zidan said stuttering, “Hello Harry.” He flinched at the look his mate was giving him.
Bartz glared at Zidane for saying the greeting so casually.
Harry growled at Bartz, “Leave him alone. I told him that he could call me Harry. It is an insult when you tell him by that glare that he can't.” Harry turned to Zidane and smiled. Harry said, “I always protect my friends, Zidane. Now I must finish my walk. Enjoy your day, Zidane.” He turned to Bartz and continued, “I will take my leave of you Bartz.” Harry walked off down the corridor.

Unbeknownest to Harry, a pair of lavendar eyes was watching him as he confronted Bartz. What Harry did not know was that Tidus, Cecil, Cloud, Squall, Sephiroth, Firion, Light, and Vincent all look at Zidane as their little brother and want to protect him. It has been that way since Zidane's brother Kuja died₁. Cecil's lavendar eyes followed Harry around the manor unwilling to reveal himself and hurt Harry again.
Cecil looks up and notices that Harry has walked into a Room that few enter.
