Brains of Golden Trio Married to A Werewolf?
It has come to my attention, thanks to a good source from within the Hogwarts walls, that Hermione Jean Granger is now married to the widower Remus John Lupin! As we all know, a week ago, the Boy-Who-Lived, Harry Potter manage to defeat You-Know-Who in what was reported to be an epic showdown. However, during the mess, Mr. Lupin lost his new wife Nymphadora Tonks during the fiasco. But, it didn’t take him long to find a new love. Just hours later, Granger and Mr. Lupin were declared as husband and wife.
Four years ago, Mr. Lupin was fired from his position as Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor from Hogwarts, on the terms of his lycanthropy. During this time, Hermione Granger and Lupin were student and professor respectfully. Could a crush on Hermione Granger’s part contributed to this marriage? Or did, in the heat of war, did love blossom between these two lovers?
Nevertheless, I have, on good authority that Granger and Mister Lupin have now perform an ancient pureblood ritual which is to bind both of their magic. Any information about this ritual is only briefly mention in many books on old marriage rituals. Not even the name of the charm is mention or what are the real benefits. Yet, it is my reporter’s gut feeling, that with the two brilliant minds of Granger and Lupin, no doubt they found out how.
I have requested information about the marriage certificate but I have only received no help from the Ministry. Only I ask is to know if Granger has chosen to keep her last name for the sake of fame or even think of taking the same last name of that werewolf. Or even if she can handle rising another woman’s son with her new husband. Even contacting the happy couple has proven with no help in this matter. I think the world will want to know more.

“Well, isn’t this just interesting,” drawled out Lucius Malfoy, his eyebrow raised up in interest.
“Mr. Malfoy! I was speaking to you!”
Clint sighed in annoyance when the aristocrat pureblood pretended not to hear. He just kept on reading the latest Daily Prophet, which Clint had brought in that day, and had been reading it for over thirty minutes.
“Mr. Malfoy, you don’t put that-”
“I can hear you, Mr. Dashwood,” the aristocrat didn’t actually snap but his words were still strong as ever. “I just wish to know what is happening in the world while I am in here.”
Ever since the remaining Death Eaters were gathered after the Final Battle, Lucius was held in the Ministry’s holding cells. His wife and son were currently under house arrest. The bright orange robes that the Ministry provided did little to no effect on the high strong and proud pureblood. Clint overheard earlier that many of the women that went down to feed the prisoners thought that even in beaming orange, Lucius Malfoy looked handsome.
Clint had to agree, unwillingly, that the Slytherin pureblood was a man to envy. In looks, money, and power, whatever the man owned, it made it shine like gold. Lucius looked almost pleased and giddy being locked away down here. Then again, this was better than Azkaban with his other Death Eaters were currently rotting in.
A week in a tiny cell had not hurt him in the matter of at all. His hair was smooth as silk strands, pulled back into a ponytail and held back with a strip of black fabric. Clint had to squint his eyes to see the light hairs along his chin and gathering down the long neck of the wizard. The other captive Death Eaters were still covered in filth from the Battle and their attire was in disassary. The matter that worried Clint the most was that he suspected that one of the hopeless witches had fallen under this man’s charms and snuck in some hygiene products.
He sighed, wished that he never picked up this case. “Mr. Malfoy, I understand that you and your family have animosity right now from Mr. Potter but, you should not take advantage of it!”
Lucius finally folded the newspaper and placed it on the table in front of him. Clint had to bit back his tongue from snapping at the man further when he saw the look in the gray eyes. Lucius Malfoy was looking down at him like a father finally listening his children’s pleas at last.
“Mr. Dashwood, you have been starring at me for two whole minutes now. Did you really want to talk to me or just wasting the Auror department’s time?”
Clint felt his blood begin to boil, and began to count back from ten. Letting out a breath, Clint righted himself up. “Mr. Malfoy, we at the Ministry request that you will hand over a list of items that were present while You-Know-Who’s occupied the manor.”
Clint took out a parchment, two feet long, with list of needed materials. The pureblood frowned; looking at the parchment like it was a disgusting roach on his food. He picked up the parchment at last and read it over. “You wish to obtain the bed sheets that he slept on?”
The other wizard nodded, “Anything that he used or touched.”
“Would you like the food he consumed?”
“And we would like to send over Aurors to obtain any Dark Magic material from your residence. It will only take a few days and we will-”
“No.”
The look on the pureblood’s face would have turned the inside of a rookie Auror ice cold. Clint had to remember this was for the greater good, as well as a pay rise, to thaw out his stomach. “Sir, you have no room to object to this matter. We must do this.”
If the wizard had a wand, Clint knew that he would be no match when the Slytherin was this angry. “I will not have you lot trampling through my manor. I have a guest that is suffering from dragon pox and he needs rest if we wish to recover.”
“Who is your guest, Mr. Malfoy?”
“One of my distant cousins from Rome, Tobias Sebastian, contracted the illness during the winter holidays. My wife sought fit to keep him in our home while he got better. He has been in his bedroom throughout the time,” Lucius played with a piece of invisible lint on his orange pant leg.
Clint swallowed, knowing how easy the dragon pox was infectious. At a man in his late forties, Clint might be t risk of catching it. “I…We will need to send in a med-witch to confirm this of course,”
“I will hire someone, a third party, to confirm this for you. I will not let you Aurors hurt my dear cousin with your sloppy medical care.” The man had a reply for anything.
Clint sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose tightly. His blood was threatening to boil over and he would not have Malfoy smirking in triumph. He pulled up a heavy stack of parchments. “During your family’s house arrest, as terms to your freedom, you will need to help the wizarding world. I know you have many charities but you will need to place money in war inflicted charities. There are many orphanages, rebuilding of homes, and helping Hogwarts rebuild. As well be placed under probation and reduce spells for a term of over one year. Do you agree to this?”
Lucius sighed and nodded his head, “Like I have much of a choice.”
Clint changed the terms in the contract before he handed it over to the pureblood wizard. Lucius dipped an eagle quill into a pot of ink and signed his name in elegant form. Once Clint signed his name under Auror in charge, the ink glowed gold as the contract disappeared. It would reappear into the Ministry’s files and confirmed in a matter of hours.
“Mr. Malfoy, have you given any thought of what charity you are thinking of?” Clint had to ask, just for curiously sake.
Lucius looked at the Auror before looking down at the Daily Prophet. “I believe I have an idea.”
