“Ginny! DRACO?! WHAT THE----!!”
I shrieked, grabbing Draco’s robe to cover my naked body as I whirled to see who the intruder was.
It was Ron. My brother. The last person on earth I’d want to see me like this. But, there was a small feeling of satisfaction in me when I saw the look on his face.
“Is this how you get back at me? By shagging HIM?!”
“This is not to get back at you, Ronald! I am in love with him!”
“WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“Yes. I am in love with Draco Malfoy! In fact, we are engaged to be married!”
Ron looked like he was about to drop dead any second.
“Y-Yo-You..Wh—Wha—WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!”
Draco was clearly enjoying this. “That’s right Weasel. Now get the fuck out of here before I hex your balls off!”
Ron opened and closed his mouth several times like a dying fish, then staggered out.
I broke my serious face when he left and began to laugh.
Draco chuckled softly, holding me close.
“Did you see his face? It was PRICELESS!!!!”
“I love you so much, Ginerva.”
“I love you too, Draco. Now that it’s out, we’d better prepare for the storm.”
“After this year is over, we can elope to France. Blaise has a summer home there and he’ll help us hide. “ Draco said, smiling.
“That sounds perfect. I’ve always wanted to go to France!”

3 hours later in the Gryffindor Common Room:
“YOU’RE ENGAGED TO DRACO MALFOY?!”
“HE’S SUCH A PRAT!”
“A WEASLEY marrying a MALFOY?! What kind of alternate reality is this?!”
“HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US????”
“Talk about crossing the bridge between the Slytherins and the Gryffindors!”
“I’m SOOOO JEALOUS!!! He’s such a sex god!”
“GINNY I THOUGHT YOU WERE MY FRIEND!”
“WHY DRACO? HE’S EVIL!”
I ran through the common room, trying desperately to escape the mob that attacked me when I came through the portrait hole. I couldn’t stand all this fuss about me being engaged to Draco.
I threw myself onto my bed and sighed. Soon my roommates came up and bombarded me with more questions, comments, and concerns.
I couldn’t wait till I could go be with Draco. I heard a tapping at the window. It was Draco’s eagle owl.
Ginny,
I am afraid that we cannot meet tonight. It’s too risky. Professor Snape found out and he’s keeping an extra close eye on me. Apparently your brother also told everyone we were having sex.
I love you, my sweet Ginerva. Meet me in the empty classroom near the 1st floor corridor after dinner tomorrow. It’s the one where I confessed that I was in love with you.
