Harry, Ron and Hermione made their way down to the Great Hall for breakfast. As soon as they got there Ron piled his plate high, saying with a mouth stuffed full of food how much he had “Missed this!”
“Ron please, don’t talk with your full!” Hermione complained.
Ron quickly swallowed his food and said “Sorry Mione” with a smile. She smiled back and entwined her hand in his.
Harry loved it when they were like this, like they were designed for one purpose, to just be together.
“You know,” Ron stated “It wasn’t actually that bad sharing with Zabini, just kept to ourselves mostly.”
Hermione gave Harry a look before saying “Yeah, it’s the same with me and Parkinson. You know if we’re going to share rooms we should probably start calling them by their first names.”
Hermione shuffled up on the bench to be closer to Ron and so Ginny could sit down.
“Hey Gin” Harry said as he picked up another slice of toast and spread jam onto it.
He had told the Weasleys about his sexuality over the holidays. They had accepted him; apparently it wasn’t as uncommon to be gay in wizard world as it was in the muggle world. Ginny understood him; she felt more like a sister than a girlfriend.
“Merlin I’m starving!” She said as she began to tear bits of a butter croissant and put them into her mouth.
Harry just laughed.
Today was going to be a fantastic day.
As the Great Hall started to really fill up Harry noticed a certain smirking slytherin enter. He couldn’t help but blush. To distract himself he started to gather the yummiest things that were on offer for breakfast.
When breakfast was finished, everything disappeared and the teachers began to hand out schedules. Once again McGonagall beckoned the 8^th years over to her.
“You will be joining the 7^th year’s classes.” She stated as she began to hand out their schedules. Harry looked at his. He shared Potions, Dada with the slytherins.

After McGonagall had finished Draco, Pansy and Blaise sauntered, in a way only a true slytherin can, down to the lake to discuss the situation.
“Okay so Potter likes you?” Blaise questioned.
Draco nodded in affirmation.
“So what are you gonna do?” Pansy and Blaise stared at him expectantly.
“I’m going to seduce him.”

Whilst on their way to lunch Harry announced that he wasn’t hungry and was going to go back to the dorm.
“Okay, see you later Harry” Hermione replied.
“See ya later mate.” Ron said
As Harry walked further down the corridor he faintly heard Ron ask “What was the about?”
Sighing Harry figured he would have to tell Ron at some point; he was afraid of what Ron would think of him.
Harry put his hands into his black slacks and was about to turn a corner when suddenly he was yanked into a broom closet.
His hands were held above his head and a body pushed against his.
“Hello Harry” An irresistible voice whispered. Merlin he loved the way his name rolled off Draco’s tongue. He wondered what else that tongue could do.
No, not now. Not with Draco against him. Harry calmed himself down.
“D-Draco, um would you mind backing off a bit.” Oh yeah nice one. Way to be assertive.
Draco’s mouth cracked into his signature grin and he laughed a little.
“Sure Harry.”
Draco stepped back and allowed him some space; some, not much.
“So, Harry, I was wondering if you would like to go for a stroll later, say around 8. “
“What?!” Harry spluttered.
“Oh come on Harry, don’t you think, after what I saw and did last night that we should get better acquainted?”

Draco wiggled his eyebrows and winked. Unsurprisingly Harry’s cheeks turned a pale shade of crimson.

“I guess so?” Harry replied.
“Harry if you don’t want to that’s fine. But I like you and I know for certain you like me. I guess I’ll go to lunch.”
Draco started to open the door when Harry rushed and pushed it close. Draco smiled, he liked the fact that this was the first time that Harry had initiated them being in close proximity.
“Where should we meet?” Harry asked

“Down by the lake.” With this Draco exited the closet.
Merlin he’s hot when he blushes Draco thought.
