Natasha came down the stairs towards Lidia and Remus where they stood near the Floo networks in the schools travel entrance. Dress in a pair of dark pants and a knit sweater Remus had his girlfriend, his Mate wrapped in his traveling cloak and his arms. Lidia was wearing a pair of tight blue jeans that he knew had black leggings underneath, she had two pairs of socks on and a pair of water-proof white boots on. She was also bundled up in a tank top, long-sleeved t-shirt with a sweater that hung down past her bottom and a long white fleece winter coat that hung to just above her knees. Natasha was wearing legging and a pair of heavy fleece pants in a color that bordered on navy blue and black, three sweaters, boots and a jacket. When Lanni came down the stairs she looked like she was expecting a small and completely warm trip England but when asked she revealed that she was wearing two pairs of pants many shirts a coat and had a heating charm at the ready. Finally, Scorpius came down the stairs in black pants and a blue sweater with a nice jacket and a heating charm already on him.
“Lanni Farren” Headmistress Kitcher said as she read from her notepad “Natasha, Scorpius Malfoy, Remus Lupin and Lucky Granger”
“It’s Lidia” She corrected with a blush.
“Lidia then” She said looking over her glasses at her “You are all going to England until the second week of January, right?”
“Yes” Remus answered for them all.
“Good” She smiled “I just like to make sure that I know where all my little chickens are going” She smiled fondly “If you will all put your stuff right there” She pointed to a red circle just off to their right side “I will send your luggage about five minutes after you depart, it will get to your parents house about fifteen minutes before they are due to come and get you, it’s like a warning bell” She bounced and giggled “Warning! The college students are coming home!”
“Thank you” Lidia said looking at the others who were trying very hard not to laugh.
“Oh look” She smiled “Your Floo is ready” She walked them over “This will bring you to the train station that will bring you to the coast where you will find your broomsticks” She looked at her paperwork “I see that you have rented only three, is that right or is there a mistake?”
“Remus and I will have one” Lidia explained slowly “Scorpius and Natasha or Lanni and the other girl the one that is not on with Malfoy will be alone”
“Oh” She smiled “Well, have a Merry Christmas”
“Have a Happy Christmas” Lidia answered and waited her turn to go through.
Natasha went first, followed by Lanni, than Scorpius and after a quick kiss Remus went through then Lidia. She got on the train with her friends and began the short trip to the coast. Where they got on to their broomsticks and took off, Lidia and Remus, Scorpius and Lanni and Natasha flying solo. After a few hours they landed on the frozen England coast where it was sleeting, raining and snowing and they were all nearly frozen to death by the time they reached the hotel where they would be heating up with a drink and then they would Floo over to the ministry where her parents would be awaiting them.

Loki was in the bedroom he shared with Hermione getting dressed. He put himself in a pair of black slacks and a button down shirt, then made his way over to Levi’s bedroom to collect him. It turned out that his son was already down stairs waiting for him with Gabby who was still upset that Frigga chose to go home instead of stay with her. He was walking through the living room when a huge pile of luggage fell out of no-where right in front of him and on his foot. He howled in surprised pain and could hear his children laughing at him, loving little creatures he had helped make.
“Babe” Hermione called from the kitchen “Lidia and her friends luggage should be coming through anytime now, should only be a few things”
“A few?” He muttered, there appeared to be at least three suit cases to each friend she was bringing plus three make-up boxes and then bags of presents, all in all the it appeared to be nearly towering over him “Is this what my daughter calls a few things?”
“Has it come yet?” Hermione asked as she walked in to the room and stopped with her eyes wide “Oh goodness, thank merlin we cleaned out the attic for them”
“Some of those landed on my foot” Loki said as he walked over to his wife “I may need some medical help”
“Oh” She said “And because I am studying Healing I’m supposed to take care of you?”
“No” He purred “Because you’re my woman you’re supposed to take care of me”
“I will when we get home” She promised boldly dragging her fingers down his chest “I’ll take real good care of you”
“You always do” He said.
“Mama” Gabby said “Time to go”
“Of course” She smiled “Let’s go”
Hermione drove (because Loki drove like a maniac) to the ministry. Gabby was wearing a pale pink dress with pink wool jacket over it and dainty white gloves on her tiny hands and earmuffs over her ears and her curly brown hair was braided down her back. Levi wore dark jeans and a dark jacket that covered a long-sleeved t-shirt and he wore a pair of sneakers. Hermione had decked herself out in a cream colored dress and matching blazer with kitten heels that kept sliding on the ice as she walked making her have to hold on to Loki for dear life. They greeted Ron and Luna in the Atrium of the ministry and then Harry and Ginny, they were sandwiched between those two families while they awaited the return of their daughter.
“KALE” Luna gushed running forward and hugging her tall and lanky son as he spun out of the Floo “I have missed you!”
“Missed you too mom” He said “Is Lidia home yet?” He looked over at Hermione with a smile then stepped back when he realized that Loki was there as well. Loki was about the threaten him suddenly there was green flames in their gate and a body came gracefully out of the Floo. This girl had chestnut brown hair and a beautiful face, she looked at them and smiled shyly.
“Hello” She said with a Russian accent “I am Natasha”
“I’m Hermione” She greeted “Lidia’s mother and this is her father Loki”
“You are very handsome” She said boldly to Loki making him chuckle. Before Hermione could say anything to her about being rude another body came spinning out and they knew the blond hair immediately.
“Hello Scorpius” Hermione greeted.
“Hey, mama!” He grinned cheekily and made room for the next person. The next person had flaming red curls and tripped on her way out landing in Scorpius’s arms with a blush on her face.
“Hi” She said breathlessly “I’m Lanni Farren, nice to meet you”
“Nice to meet you” Loki said wondering where his daughter was. Suddenly there were the green flames again and he saw an abundance of black curls swirl around before she, like her mother, landed with an ungraceful splat on the ground. Almost too quickly the flames shot up a fifth time and as she was pulling herself up on to her knees a male of about twenty years old came falling out and landed on top her. They were a mess of tangled limbs and gasped, breathy laughs as they managed to stand up right and fix their clothing and hair.
“Daddy!” She ran to him and wrapped her arms around his middle hugging him closely “I’ve missed you so much”
“And I’ve missed you too” He told her “Let me look at you” he smiled and then frowned “You matured... I don’t like it”
“Oh shut up” She laughed “Okay, introductions. You know Scorpius, this is Natasha my roommate, and Lanni Farren she is in many of my classes and this” She squeezed his hand “Is my boyfriend, Remus Lupin”
“Your...” Loki started but Hermione took his hand.
“Let’s go home, hmm?” She smiled at them and led the way out. The car ride was filled with Lanni’s then Natasha’s stories and Lidia and Remus looked at each other nervously the whole way while Scorpius pondered what he would say to his father once Lidia spoke to him. Once in the house Lidia showed all of them where they would sleep and then she and Remus made their way down the stairs.
“Mom” Lidia said “Daddy?”
“Remus” Hermione said then she walked over and smacked him across the face “Why didn’t you write back?” She glared at him “I wrote numerous times and you never wrote back and then you show up years later dating my daughter?!”
“What?” He looked confused “I never got any of your letters” He looked at Loki and he sighed “They never made it to me” Hermione looked slowly at her husband and he knew that he had to choose his words carefully because they would never believe him either way.
“I did what I had to” Loki said to them “He understood I’m sure”
“I don’t know if I do” Remus said “But I’m happy now and that’s all I’ve ever wanted” He smiled at Lidia who was watching her parents.
“Daddy” She said.
“Just give me some time, baby” He said then looked over at Hermione with a smile and walked out of the room.

To say that Loki was not okay would be an understatement. He paced the kitchen and was talking to himself, trying to make himself understand what was going on trying in vain to be okay with what was going on. He knew...he had always known that Remus’s true mate was Lidia, he knew it when she was a baby and would only be calm when he held her and how she always clung to him. But no matter how much he knew that it was to be didn’t mean that he was okay with watching it.
“You know” Severus Snape, the headmaster that had a dirty mind, said from the frame Hermione had painted for him in the kitchen “I have been living with your daughter for some time now”
“And?” Loki growled.
“Have you seen Natasha?” Snape asked “Have you seen that rack?”
“I haven’t looked at her rack” Loki answered primly then added “She does have a nice arse though”
“I knew you weren’t dead!” Snape announced “And I thank merlin for that, I was worried...really I was”
“Whatever” Loki said sitting down and pouring himself some firewhiskey.
“I have never seen anyone like those two” Severus said.
“Natasha and Lidia?” Loki asked.
“No” He said “Lidia and Remus. Completely in love with one another, he anticipates her moods, her words and her reactions. Protects her like no other, makes sure she is happy and okay and is always there for her, he is her best friend as well as her boyfriend”
“Have they...” Loki trailed off but Snape smiled.
“No” He answered “Lidia told Natasha that she and Remus were waiting for the right moment and it hadn’t come up yet”
“Oh thank god” Loki breathed “For some reason there’s a difference between her having sex with Kale and her having sex with Remus”
“What about her having sex with Severus?” Snape asked.
“What?” Loki snapped.
“Nothing” Snape answered with a grin “You, Loki the God of Mischief...have a soft-heart” He smirked when the god looked uncomfortable “You love your daughter and want her to be happy but you wish it were with someone else”
“But she’s his mate” Loki said almost whiny.
“Then you’re fighting a losing battle, aren’t you?” Severus asked “Now” He slapped his hands together “Let’s go have sex with Hermione!”
“HEY!” Loki snapped “Have you been peeping?”
“Of course not” Snape answered and Loki nodded “She does have the cutest little dimples on her arse doesn’t she?”
“You piece of shit painting!” Loki growled “I’ll have you destroyed” His threats only made the man in the painting laugh harder Loki was silent for a few minutes and then looked back at the potions master “Tomorrow, I’ll talk to her and Hermione tomorrow, until then I am going to pretend that this has never happened”
