Alice and Frank Longbottom were standing in the middle of the court room. They were here to testify for Severus. His lawyer called them forward one at a time and they told of their recovery with the potion he and Hermione made. They also told of his personal visits with them to help catch up on everything and sort their minds out. Neville and Hermione had also visited them to catch them up on everything. Shocking the entire court room, they admitted to watching memories from everyone that visited them. They trusted their son and if he trusted someone, they trusted them. They stood by their son's complete trust in the man. Severus was floored.
Over the next 2 days, other testimonies were given. That Friday, there was only a 5 minute window of deliberation by the Wizengamot over his verdict. When they returned, the Minister had him stand. “Severus Snape, you are cleared of any wrong doings. We are deeply honored by your service in both wars against Voldemort. You will receive payment for your services equal to double the amount awarded to Mister Potter. For your pain and suffering.” When the Minister sat down, the court room erupted.
Severus stood in shock as Hermione ran up to him and kissed him soundly. He could see her lips moving but couldn't hear anything. “I...I need to sit down.”
Hermione caught Harry's eye and drew a circle before motioning to Severus. He nodded and went to get the DA. Hermione wrapped Severus in a hug as the DA and their friends formed a protective circle around them, with their backs turned on them for privacy. “It's ok Sev. Let it out.” He broke down in te4ars against her chest. “That's it love. Let go.”
Hermione caught Minerva's eye as the woman came over to them. Tears were forming in her eyes. The woman hugged him and smiled as Hermione wiped her own tears away. “You never have to worry about this again Severus. Your life starts over now.”
Severus nodded and smiled as he stood up. The others turned to face them. “You are correct. We should take the weekend and celebrate.”
“I believe I gave you the weekend off Severus.” Albus smiled and patted his shoulder. “We will see you for dinner Sunday night.”
Hermione smiled and stepped back so everyone could congratulate him. Once everyone had left, she took his hand. The DA formed their protective circle around them again. “Shall we go home?”
Harry laughed at his nod. “Ava is waiting for you at the manor. We will walk you out.”
The doors opened before them and Severus found himself blinded by flashes as the witches and wizards they passed all applauded. He held Hermione tight to his side. She did the same to him. He surprised them all by pulling her into a quick kiss. They paused to give a statement.
Hermione smiled as they separated and turned to the press. “The only statement Severus Snape has is this.” She waited until she had all the attention. “He has been through enough and would like to live his life in peace. He will do a full interview when he is ready and will contact whom he wants for it. Please respect his wishes and do not hound him or his friends when in public.”
Severus nodded and the group headed towards the apparition point. They waved to the others before disappearing. Sunday afternoon, they arrived back at Hogwarts. They strolled through the corridors towards the Great Hall. “I wonder where everyone is, they are usually trickling into the Great Hall.”
Hermione shrugged. “Maybe they were all pretty hungry and headed there earlier.”
He nodded and they continued on. They froze when they entered the Great Hall. The entire school was on its feet applauding him. Hermione giggled as she pulled him up to the head table. “Before you ask, no I didn't know about this.”
Albus held up his hands and the room quieted. “I want you all to remember that Professor Snape has been through a very trying week. Any actions or unwanted advances towards him will be met with severe repercussions. Give him the respect all your professors deserve.” He sat down and the food appeared. “Welcome back.”
“It's good to be back Albus.” Severus grinned as he began to eat. “Please tell me I don't have to remind the students how to behave in my class.” He turned to look at Vivian.
She laughed from the other side of Hermione. “From what I have heard in the halls, I managed to be just as bad as you.”
“Excellent.” Severus smirked as the others laughed. “Hermione, you are going to catch up with Filius correct?”
“Yes, right after supper.” She looked over at Remus. “Are we still on for tomorrow night?” When he nodded, she smiled. “Good, we will be ready by the end of the week for finals.”
Minerva laughed. “With you helping out, we will be ready by Wednesday.”
Hermione shrugged and went back to eating. By the time finals started, she was worn out and ready to snap. “How do you guys get used to this? You all look so calm!” She threw herself down into a chair in the staff room.
Severus smirked and looked at the others. “I'll do it.” He stood up and poured her a drink. He pulled a box out of a drawer in the drink cupboard. Once he stirred a scoopful into her drink, he handed her the glass. “Don't ask, just drink.”
Hermione did as told and immediately felt a soothing presence spread throughout her body. “Wow, what was that?”
“A special concoction Severus and I came up with.” Albus smiled as she finished her glass. “It will leave you with a trace of calm long enough to make it through the finals.”
“We all dose ourselves right before the finals start.” Poppy smirked as the others nodded. “Now, are you going to be moderating any of the finals?”
Remus laughed. “She has herself booked for my OWL, Severus's NEWT, and both of Filius's.”
“Also, my potions for first, third, and sixth years.” Severus smirked as she blushed. “She's definitely our own over-achiever.”
“That she is!” Minerva smiled at her. “We are lucky to have you with us for a few years.” She was interrupted by an owl tapping at the window. “Must be important.”
Once Albus opened the window, the owl flew to land on Hermione's lap. She took the letter and it immediately flew off again. She opened the letter and quickly read it, her face turning white. “Oh no! I need to go!”
“What's wrong?” Severus took the letter as she gathered her things. “An accident at work?”
Hermione nodded. “Mum told me the neighbor in that building was having some stuff done. She said it worried her. My aunt knows not to owl unless its an emergency.”
“I'll go with you.” Severus turned to Albus. “I will let you guys know what is going on.” He followed Hermione out. “Is there a place near the hospital that we can apperate to?”
“Yes, I know a spot.” She heard him right behind her as they exited the school and quickly headed to the gates. “We need to change our robes though.”
“Just take them off.” Severus smirked as they stepped through the gates. He took off his robes, shrunk them and pocketed them, and transfigured his outfit “Now, you will have to take me side along.”
“Let's go then.” She let him take her hand before disappearing with a pop. They reappeared in an alley and quickly headed to the hospital. “Aunt Mary!”
“Hermione!” An older woman gave her a quick hug. And held her hand out to Severus. “You must be Severus.”
“I am.” He shook her hand and followed her down the hall. “What happened?”
Mary sighed. “The owner was having the place next door renovated. Something exploded near the wall closest to your parents' office. They both had severe injuries.” She stopped outside of a door.
“How severe?” Hermione frowned as they looked through the window. Her mum was lying on the bed with bandages around her head, right arm, and torso. “Oh my.”
Severus frowned. “Let me get Poppy. She would know if we could help.” He turned to Mary. “Where is your brother?”
“He is even worse. He is across the hall.” Mary pointed to the room across from them.
He nodded and quickly entered the room. He did a few spells and cast his patronus, shocked when it took form of an eagle. He gave it the message and sent it off to Poppy. He stepped out into the hall to see Hermione's shocked face. “I know. But I like it though. Eagle seems to fit me better I think.”
“I can imagine.” Hermione sighed as she turned back to her mum. “An eagle represents a clear mind, the divine spirit, and protector against evil. It fits.”
He nodded and looked up as Poppy rushed down the hall. “You made it faster than I expected you to.”
“You know me.” She stopped in front of them. “Where are they?”
“Dad is worse and is in there.” Hermione nodded to the room behind her. “Mum is across the hall in here.” She motioned to the room they were outside of.
Poppy nodded and checked Mr. Granger first. When she was done with her spells, she checked Mrs. Granger. “Well, it's not good since they aren't magical. However, they stand a good chance if we can get them transferred to Mungo's.”
Mary nodded. “Their doctor is here, I can go get him and have him transfer them. Who should I put as the new doctor?”
“I will come with you.” Poppy nodded to the couple and followed the woman.
“You go see your mum. I will go sit with your dad.” Severus kissed her forehead. “They will get the best help we can give them.”
She nodded. “Thank you Severus.” She turned and entered her mum's room. The following day, her parents were transferred to the muggle part of St. Mungo's.
A few days later, Severus was shocked when he and Hermione entered her parents' room. “Bradbury?”
“Snape?” the doctor looked at him in shock. “What are you doing here?”
“I'm here with Hermione. Are you a healer now?” Severus shook the man's hand.
“I've been the Grangers' doctor for about 10 years now.” He smiled when Hermione flushed. “I didn't know she was a witch until a few years ago.”
“So how do you two know each other?” She watched the men smile.
“We apprenticed with the same Potions Master. I went on to study muggle medicine as well as midi-wizardry.” The doctor shook his head. “What a small world. But onto your parents. They are out of severe danger. The bad news is that they will have to remain here for a while and do rehab.”
“Well, at least they are getting better.” She smiled as her dad sighed in his sleep. “Still sedated?”
“I am keeping them asleep for the rest of the week so the potions can work. If you need to get back to the school, I can send you an owl when we go to wake them up.” He saw her nod.
“I would appreciate it. Thank you.” She kissed her parents foreheads before taking Severus's hand. “Let's go.” They headed back out to their apparition point.
A few weeks later, school was done and Hermione's parents were recovering slowly. The students had just departed on the train and Hermione had stopped to do some shopping in Hogsmeade with Severus. Currently, they were in 2 different stores. Hermione frowned as she stepped out of the store she had been in. Something felt wrong. Catching sight of Severus heading her way, she waited for him.
It all happened so fast that nobody had time to react. A couple spells flew form across the street and all the storefronts on their side exploded. She saw Severus get tossed to the street before part of the wall next to her knocked her unconscious. When she awoke, Harry and Ron were there.
“Don't speak. A part of the wall cut into your neck. They fixed it up but they cast a spell so you can't talk.” Harry smiled and pulled out a notebook and self inking quill. “We've got you covered.”
She took them and smiled, then quickly wrote out what she wanted to ask. -Severus? What happened? How long here? Where is here?”-
Ron laughed. “Severus is fine. He woke up this morning. The aurors are still investigating but from what we've been told, some rogue death eaters weren't happy with Hogsmeade. It looks like they wanted to take both of you out at the same time as those shops. You two were the worst of the injuries.”
Harry nodded. “Severus is looking at some memories we were given by witnesses to see if he could identify them. It happened 2 days ago and we are at St. Mungo's.”
She nodded and looked down at herself to see the damage. Lifting the sheet, she saw bandages around her right foot and ankle, around her right knee, and all around her torso. She frowned as an idea popped in her head.
Harry frowned as she quickly scribbled something and showed him. “He is checking Severus and then will be in. He's a nice doctor.”
She sighed and nodded. Thirty minutes later, she smiled as Dr. Bradbury walked in.
“Hello Hermione.” He motioned the boys out. “You want to know how you are?” When she nodded, he smiled. “the bad news is, you had some internal damage.”
She frowned and motioned to her belly before pantomiming holding a baby.
“You can still have kids. All your internal organs were fine. Your damage was to your ribs and there was a tear in both your intestines and your kidneys. They were fixed and have healed. The ankle and knee were crushed and disjointed. We fixed those and have them wrapped until the swelling goes down. Your shoulder was dislocated and you had a cut on your head. You should be able to leave tomorrow. Severus is going home today because he wasn't hurt as bad. He had some broken bones and some cuts. His punctured spleen and kidney were fixed and have healed.”
She smiled and nodded. She scribbled out a thank you.
“You are welcome. I will see you tomorrow.” He smiled and headed out.
She laughed silently as Ron entered with a tray of food. He had on a chef's hat and apron. He grinned back at Harry. “I told you she'd laugh.” He set the tray of food in front of her. “Severus is finishing up and then will be over.”
She nodded and dug into the food, smacking her lips after finishing her chocolate pudding. She smirked when they shook their heads laughing. She was just leaning back so they could take the food tray when the door opened. She grinned as Severus walked in.
Harry moved the food tray off to the side and gave her a hug. “We will talk to you later.” He moved so Ron could also hug her before they headed out the door.
“Hermione.” Severus rushed over and gave her a hug. “I'm so glad you are ok.” He pulled back to see her crying. “It's ok baby, we are both ok.”
She smiled up at him before grabbing her notebook and quill. Se scribbled out her words. -I was afraid they got you when I saw you fly into the street.-
He smiled and shook his head. “I could sense them. I managed to get out a cushioning charm before the piece of wall knocked me out.” He laughed as she tapped her lips. “As you wish.” He pulled her into a deep, gentle kiss.
She smiled and slid over on the bed before patting the spot next to her.
He smiled and removed his robes. The then rolled up his sleeves and removed his boots before climbing up beside her. “If the nurses say anything, I'll handle them.” He smiled again as she nodded and curled up against him. The next morning, he left her with the nurses to go do a few things. He returned after lunch to see if she could go home. She was sitting on the bed in clean clothes when he walked in. “You look ready to leave.”
“I am.” She smiled and stood up. “I'm all checked out and can leave now.”
“Perfect.” He held out his arm and she quickly took it. He led her out the door and to the exit. He them took them to Prince Manor. “Ava, we will be going out for supper. No need to make anything for us.”
“Yes Master.” She smiled and popped out.
Severus turned to Hermione. “You have 2 choices. Either you wear something nice that you already have, or we go get you an elegant dress or robes.”
She frowned. “I don't have anything elegant that you haven't seen.”
“Then we will go shopping for something.” He led her to the floo. “We will get you something that will make Narcissa green with envy.”
“Where will we find something like that?” She waited til the fire turned green and stepped in next to him before they disappeared. She opened her eyes as he helped her out of the floo. “Where are we?”
“She loves Paris but Italy has better quality.” He smirked at her gasp. “We are in Rome. I Have gotten a few things here. Lucius always thought it was too far to shop regularly.”
“Well then, let's go.” She grinned and let him lead her away. When they stopped, she was looking at gorgeous gowns that looked like they belonged to royalty. “Beautiful!”
He led her in and smiled when he saw an old friend. “Karina!” The woman turned and smiled when she saw him. She quickly joined them. “Hermione, this is an old friend Karina. Karina, this is Hermione Granger.”
“It's a pleasure to meet you!” Karina smiled and shook her hand. “I have heard all about you.”
“I'm sure it's not all good.” Hermione blushed as she pulled her hand back. “It's nice to meet his friends.”
Karina laughed and patted his arm. “Severus and I grew up together before magic school. We were like brother and sister.” She sighed as she looked at him. “My family moved away when I was 10 but we have always stayed in touch. So, what brings you here?”
Severus grinned and put his arm around Hermione. “We need your help. I want her to get a few things to go with my styles. Something that will make Narcissa envious.”
Karina's eye lit up. “I have the perfect thing! Follow me Hermione. Severus, you go sit in that blue chair.” She pulled Hermione to the fitting rooms.
Severus did as told and sat down to wait. Ten minutes later, he heard Hermione call to him. “Yes?”
“Close your eyes.” Hermione saw Karina nod and help her up onto a small platform in front of him. “Ok, you can look now.”
Severus opened his eyes and swallowed hard. “Sweet Merlin. You are getting that dress!” She was wearing an emerald green dress that fit her perfectly. The silver panels along the knee high slit drew attention to her legs. There was also a silver panel that ran around her waist like a thin belt. The straps were emerald green with silver piping along the edge that also ran along the top of the dress.
Hermione giggled as Karina pulled her back to the fitting room. “I guess that's a yes.”
Karina nodded. “Trust me. He has tastes like Lucius but with a sensible twist.” She leaned in and grinned as she helped Hermione with her dress. “He has tastes of a prince.”
Hermione laughed as she was helped into her next dress. “Stop fooling around!” Severus rolled his eyes when they laughed again. Karina opened the door and he sat up.
“This is a dress for your gray suit.” Karina motioned Hermione out.
“Another excellent selection.” Severus grinned as Hermione turned around. The silver satin dress had a slytherin green overlay that flowed over her. The 3/4 length sleeves ended with bell cuffs.
Hermione smiled as she returned to the dressing room. “I'm just going to try this last one on in here. It's just a simple dress.”
“No, I want to see it.” Severus motioned Karina over as Hermione changed. “Do me a favor.”
Hermione stepped out in a simple burgundy dress with silver embroidered celtic knot work around the knee length hem and scooped neckline. It had short sleeves. She saw Karina nod before heading off. “What's wrong?”
“I asked her if there was s shawl or cloak to match the green dress.” He walked around her. “Yes, this is a good dress. It's perfect for you.”
Karina came back with an emerald green cloak. “Here it is. It's reversible if you want.” It had a hood and was silver on the reverse side with emerald trim. The emerald green side had silver trim. Celtic knot work ran along the bottom hem on both sides and was also as the clasp.
“It's perfect!” Hermione grinned at Severus. “What do you think?”
He nodded. “Of course.” He motioned to the fitting room. “Get your stuff so we can go. Keep that dress on. We will get all of it.”
She nodded and grabbed her regular clothes. “I will need to transfigure my shoes.”
“Definitely not!” Severus pointed to his friend. “Tell her what you like. Transfigured shoes wear out faster.”
Hermione sighed. “I don't like heels that are over an inch. I also don't like them overly decorated.”
Karina nodded and headed to the corner. “I think I have the perfect pair. Durable sole, weather resistant, not too high, and you can change the color all you want.” She pulled out a pair of silver shoes. There was a strap across the forefoot, a strap around the back, and a strap around the ankle.
“They are perfect!” Hermione checked the size and nodded. “Now we can go.”
“Yes, now we can go.” Severus smirked as she worried her bottom lip. “Don't worry about the price. I brought you here knowing what it's like. I'm buying.” He smiled when she nodded and leaned down for a quick kiss.
Karina sighed. “You two are just adorable.”
Severus rolled his eyes., completely missing Karina ringing up something else with Hermione's card. “You will have to come for a visit soon. We are at Prince Manor over the summer.”
Karina nodded as she finished wrapping the other dresses. “I will owl you.”
Hermione smiled as she was pulled into a hug. “Thanks for your help. It was nice to meet you.”
Karina smiled and slid the girl's card into her pocket. “Same here. Let him take care of you and you take care of him. I will talk to you two later.” She winked at Hermione as she pulled back.
Severus smirked as he led Hermione out the door. “We are going to take these home and then head out for supper.” She nodded and they took the floo home.
Hermione hummed as Ava put her new dresses away. She had taken her bracelet off and made it into the necklace. She had also changed into a pair of burgundy flats.
“Miss should wear the dark red hanging earrings.” Ava nodded when Hermione held them up. “Master likes same colors.”
“That he does Ava. Thank you.” She put the earrings in and did her hair. She spelled it into fine waves and pinned the sides up. “I will see you later Ava.”
The house elf popped away as she headed back to the entrance hall. Severus smiled as he held her cloak for her. “You look beautiful.”
“Thank you.” She blushed as he helped her into her summer cloak. When she turned around, he was kneeling on the floor. “Severus?”
“Hermione, I love you. Will you marry me?” He held out an open ring box.
Her jaw dropped as she looked at him. “Of course I will! I love you too Severus.” She smiled as he lunged up and into a kiss.
“When I fell into the street, everything flashed by. I hadn't told you how I really felt.” He slid the ring on her finger. “I had realized I couldn't be happy without you. You made me want to be a better person. I'm happier than I ever thought I could be.”
“Oh Sev, I feel the same way.” She hugged him close. “I thought I 'd lost you when I saw you fall into the street. I knew I had to tell you how I felt.”
Severus smiled and kissed her. “Let's go celebrate. I'm taking you to Paris for supper.”
She smiled and looked at her ring. “It's beautiful Sev.” It was a silver and gold colored intertwined band with a half carat diamond in the middle.
He held out a small saucer. “We have a minute.” He smiled as she held onto it with him. She smiled when it started to glow. They were whisked away to reappear in a small alley. He led her in the direction of the restaurant. “It's not too far love.”
After dinner, Hermione finished her glass of champagne with a sigh. “That was wonderful Severus.”
“I'm glad you enjoyed it.” He smiled as he helped her into her cloak. “We can stop at that open dance floor for a dance or two if you'd like. I saw you looking at it.”
She smiled and nodded. “That would be nice. The perfect way to end the evening.” She let him lead her out. They danced a slow dance amongst other couples before heading back to their portkey location. Once back at the manor, Ava took their cloaks and they headed into the lounge. She took the drink he made for her and sat down with him. He quickly pulled her to him. “I still can't believe it.” She was looking at her ring again.
“Neither can I.” He wrapped a hand around hers and gave it a squeeze. “I didn't think I'd live long enough to find someone who liked me for who I am. I'm not the best looking, or the nicest.”
She looked up at him. “You are nicer than you think. I also think you are handsome in your own way. Almost Grecian or Romanian looking.” She smiled at him. “I think you look regal.”
He smiled at her. “I don't agree but thank you.”
She smiled before looking towards the fire. “Severus, can I ask you something kind of personal?”
He frowned at the tone of her voice. “Of course you can.”
She sighed and sat up a little. “How experienced are you?”
“Experienced at what?” He cocked his head as he watched her. She was blushing and would not look at him. “I see. You are still innocent?”
She nodded. “I don't want to disappoint you on our wedding night.”
He shook his head and turned her to face him. “I may be older but I had very few chances to do anything. I never really had a girlfriend, only 2 acquaintances.” He grinned at her. “Honestly, I never did that either. I told Voldemort I wanted to stay pure in case we needed to use unicorn parts.”
She gasped. “You haven't done any of the stuff they did?”
He shook his head. “I did some stuff, but never used that part of me.” He leaned in to kiss her gently. “Why do you ask?”
She blushed. “I want to spend the night with you. Tonight.”
“Oh.” He blinked in surprise before taking her hand. “Hermione, I think I would like that.” He smiled and pulled her back to him. “I'd like that very much.”
Hermione smiled and moved to sit across his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him as deep as she could. When they broke apart, she moved to whisper in his ear. “Take me to bed love.”
He smiled and stood up with her still in his arms. He then apparated right to his bedroom. As he set her on her feet, he looked at her. “Are you sure?”
“Yes.” She reached up and unbuttoned his silver shirt. “By the way, you look very handsome tonight.” She pushed the shirt off his shoulders and ran a hand over his scars. “Do any of them still bother you?”
“No, not anymore.” He let her look at them before reaching around her to unzip her dress.
Hermione grinned and reached down to his waist. She undid his belt before undoing his trousers. When he leaned over to remove his pants, she removed her dress. When he looked up, he froze. “Surprise.”
Severus raised a hand to her side. She was wearing a slytherin green corset with black laces. She had black satin panties on with it. “You are so beautiful.”
She grinned and took his hand, placing it at the bow so he could untie the lacing. “Go ahead.” He pulled the satin lacing and watched as it loosened the corset. She let it fall to the floor before reaching down to slide the panties off.
“Allow me.” He knelt down and slowly slid the panties down, helping her step out of them before standing and picking her up. He carried her to the bed and set her down on it. He quickly pushed his tented boxers down.
She licked her lips when she saw him completely nude. “You look like a god. I have my own god!” She pulled him onto the bed next to her and kissed him.
He laughed as she tackled him. He kissed her back as she pulled him as close as she could. “I'm all yours.” He reached a hand down to her center and could feel how warm she was. He teased her with a finger.
Hermione groaned. “Yes.” She bucked her hips against his hand.
He smirked and pushed her onto her back. “Trust me.” He moved down until his face was in front of her opening. He pushed a finger in and smiled when she groaned. He then leaned in and replaced his finger with his tongue. When he licked up and nipped her clit, he was rewarded with a gasp. He did it again and again until she was squirming around. He wrapped his arms around her thighs to hold her still.
“Oh god Sev!” She could feel a tightening deep inside. “Please!”
He smirked and pushed his tongue in deeper and closed his mouth around her opening. He began to suck as he squeezed her thighs. She moaned out his name as she came. Once he finished cleaning her up, he moved back up to hover over her.
She smiled as she caught her breath. “That was amazing.” She looked down and saw that he was ready. She flicked her wand over them and aimed it at a couple vials on the bed side table. She then did the contraceptive spell. “I'm ready Severus.” She slid her hand to his tip and slid it around her opening.
He looked at her. “It will hurt.” He positioned himself and slowly slid in. “Want me to go slow?”
“I know it will. I want this. I want you. Go hard and fast.” She smiled and braced herself.
He pulled back a little, looked up to catch her eyes, and quickly pushed through her barrier. Severus stopped when his sack rubbed against her. He groaned and saw her grimacing in pain. He leaned in to kiss her. “Are you ok?”
“I'll be fine.” She spread her legs a little more and he slid deeper. “Oh. Now the pain is fading. You can move now.”
He pulled back and looked over to see some of the blood fill the vials. Severus smirked and slowly pushed back in. He continued until she started moving with him. When she lifted her hips, he felt himself hit a new spot that had them both groaning. “Right there.”
Hermione gasped when he hit the sensitive spot again. “Oh god.” He started to speed up his thrusts. She wrapped her legs around his and moved her hips to grind against him.
He gasped when she squeezed her grip on him. “Gods!” He went into overdrive and pounded into her. “Oh...my...gods!” He felt her clench around him and call his name. That pushed his own release and he groaned out her name. “Hermione.” He thrust a couple more times before shuddering to a stop, collapsing on top of her.
Hermione panted as they held onto each other. She turned her head and placed a kiss on his neck. “That was amazing Severus. I can get used to having you inside me. I like how you feel there.”
He smiled and turned to kiss her. “I agree with all of that. You feel so good wrapped around me.” He sighed and pushed himself up and out of her, rolling onto his back next to her. “We should get showered and get to bed but I have no energy.”
She smiled and grabbed her wand again. “I don't think I can move right now.” She sighed as he summoned a pain potion. “Thanks.” She downed the potion and smiled before waving her wand over them to clean them and the sheets. She then placed her wand back under her pillow.
Severus grinned. “Come here love.” He pulled her close and pulled the blankets up over them. “Goodnight Hermione.”
“Goodnight Severus.” She smiled as she wrapped her arm over his stomach and laid her head on his shoulder. The following morning, Hermione woke up to a hand gently rubbing her back. She looked up and saw him watching her. “Good morning.”
He smiled and kissed her brow. “Good morning. How are you feeling?”
She smiled. “Good morning Severus. A little achy but nothing painful.” She started to snicker. “I shagged the dreaded Potions Master!”
He sighed and shook his head. “You are a minx.” He reached over and pinched a nipple, stopping her laughter for a gasp. “Can I get a proper good morning now?”
She nodded and leaned up to kiss him. “Better?”
“Mmm, almost.” He rolled her onto her back and pressed against her. “Now it just got better.” He smirked and kissed her gently.
Hermione grinned as she reached down between them and grabbed his manhood. “I think you need to say good morning to something else.”
His body twitched when she gently squeezed him. “Yesss.” He rolled them over so she was above him. “You do it.” He looked down to see her line herself up. She surprised him by quickly impaling herself on him. “Bloody hell woman!” His head dropped back to his pillow as she began to ride him. Grabbing her hips, he began to move with her.
She gasped when he bent his legs a bit and felt him shift angles. “Oh gods! Perfect!” She impaled herself again and was rewarded with a hiss from him.
He could feel her muscles begin to contract and helped her move faster. Soon they were both groaning out their release. “Sweet Merlin, that's the best way I have ever woken up.” He pulled her down into a kiss. “You are going to marry me.”
“Yes I am.” She smiled at him. “I can't wait to marry you. My own handsome prince.”
“I can't wait either.” He smiled and pushed her hair away from her face. “You are so beautiful.”
“Let's go tell my parents. Then I want to owl Karina.” She smiled at him. “She was telling me that they will start selling wedding dresses next month.”
He laughed lightly. “My dear, if you get a dress there, I will pay for everything else.” He smiled at her doubt. “You will need shoes, jewelry, and other things for the dress. Anything there is one of a kind and that comes with a high price.” He grinned. “I will pay for everything else. Now why don't we go get showered and dressed.”
They went and got ready. When Hermione entered the breakfast room, she grinned. Severus was sitting there in black jeans and an emerald green tank top. “Wow, you look so different. I like you with your hair pulled back.”
He smiled shyly. “I haven't dressed like this much, usually when around the house.” He took a sip of his coffee. “I want to go somewhere after we see your parents. Something I wanted to do when I was done with my mastery. Life got in the way so I wasn't able to.” She nodded and they dug into their food.
By the end of the day, the couple was tired out. The Grangers were happy and Hermione was very surprised. They had conjured their patronuses to show her parents and Hermione's had changed to a hawk. She was still shocked. “I just can't believe it.”
“Well, you have changed a lot. Your patronus fits you better now.” He put his arm around her. “A hawk is very keen sighted and observant.”
Hermione nodded as an owl flew through the nearby window. “Must be important.”
Severus took the parchment and gave it some treats. “It's from Charlie Weasley.” He opened it and read it. His face contorted in confusion when he picked up the picture that had come with it. “Very odd.”
“What's it say?” She took the letter and read it. “Okay, that IS odd.” She then looked at the picture. “Wow, he looks just like you!”
Severus nodded. “He said he found it in an old castle in Greece when they were looking for that rogue dragon. We should look into it.” He grinned at her. “Looks like we have a summer project.”
Hermione grinned. “And we know where to start too. The picture says Athens.” She looked back down. “Prince Sophus, married to Princess Helene. Can't read the year yet.”
He shrugged. “We can still look in the attic for old books and see if we can find any mention of either of them.” He stood up and pulled her up. “Let's go get you moved over to my wing and then we can begin.” She nodded and let him pull her from the room.
As the days passed, they found themselves surrounded by old books. They had found many in the attic. Hermione gasped at a piece of parchment that fell from the book she just opened. “Great Merlin!” She handed it to him and watched his jaw drop.
“I think we need to go to Greece.” He re-read the parchment. Across the top were the words Exile Agreement. He shook his head. “We can go to the Ministry to get a portkey tomorrow and then to Gringott's. I want to take a look through the Prince vault.”
Hermione nodded and stood up. “We should get to bed then cause it will be a long day. I also want to go through the attic again with Mena to see if there are any family books stored up there.”
Severus nodded and followed her up the stairs. “We can have the elves look while we go to the Ministry and check the vaults. For now, go get a shower. I will do the same.” He smiled and let her follow him into the bedroom and towards his bathroom.
