"I think I'd like to have a party at Malfoy Manor for my birthday." Adrien mused, having perked up with the support of Severus.

Severus and Hermione hung their heads, remembering what had happened at Malfoy Manor the night after graduation. Yet, Severus didn't dare question it, in fear that Adrien would become discouraged about his own birthday.

"Okay. I'll talk to Lucius... But please, just... No fucking Truth or Dare." Severus said, rubbing his face with his hands.

"That's always Draco's cup of tea, not mine. Or, shall I say, his cup of Harry." Adrien burst out laughing seeing the utterly disgusted look on his father's face. "I'm-I'm sorry." he strained out, turning a brilliant shade of red before burying his face in his sweater. "You have to admit, that was fucking hilarious."

"No, actually it wasn't... It was quite... Repulsive, in the best sense of the word.." Severus said slowly, watching his son simply die of laughter.

"Who do you want to invite then, Adrien?" Hermione cut across his laughter. "I'll put the invites together and owl them out, just make a list. Also... Are you going to tell everyone why this birthday of yours is so important?"

Adrien stopped laughing at this, and he and Severus stared at her.

"Well... I mean... It's going to become obvious sooner or later that you're not entirely... Human..."

Adrien shrugged. "I suppose you're right... Maybe I should?" he asked looking at his father who shrugged.

"That is entirely up to you, Adrien. It is your life after all. I can't make those decisions for you." Severus said.

"Alright, well.. In any event, I need to go now." Adrien said getting up from the table. "I've got to go escort Luna back from her father's house, as she asked me to do so."

"Okay then... We'll see you later." Severus told his son. Without another word, Adrien disapparated.

"In the mean time... I thought I might take you out." Severus smiled turning back to Hermione.

"Me? Oh, I couldn't possibly." she blushed.

"Whatever. Go get dressed." he demanded playfully.

Hermione rose from the table and walked around, gasping as she felt him give her arse a smack.

"You'd better watch it, or the only place you'll be taking me is your bedroom." she giggled.

"Later, perhaps." he smirked, watching her leave the room. "Wear something nice!" he called after her.

Severus ended up taking Hermione to a nice restaurant, and afterward, he wanted to go for a walk over the span of the London Bridge.

"It's been a while since I've seen it at night." he told her.

Hermione linked her arm with his and they apparated to the vast bridge. The two were pleased to see that the walkways weren't jammed full of people as they usually were. It was nicely lit, and the breeze was just right. It was the perfect night, really.

"I think I'm going to move us out of Spinner's End..." Severus told her as they began walking.

"But.. Why?" she asked looking up at him. "Have you told Adrien? I think he's rather attached to Spinner's End..."

"In all honesty, I don't even know why I've stayed there as long as I have. The place is full of bad memories for me."

"That's understandable... But, where would you move to?"

Severus shrugged. "I don't know just yet. But being at Malfoy Manor after graduation got me thinking about something more spacious."

"Why though? Other than your bad memories in Spinner's End. That can't just be it."

Severus stopped his pace and looked at Hermione. "Are you opposed to ever starting a family with me?"

The question shocked Hermione, but she knew her answer wasn't yes.

"No, not opposed." she smiled. "But... I'd like to graduate University first.."

"Well, I know that. But, Adrien and I were talking. I took him to a place the other day, that I used to go during the summer after I learned to apparate, and we talked about it. He told me he doesn't want it to be just us anymore." Severus wrapped his arm around Hermione and kept walking.

"As long as we don't have as many children as Ronald was intending to try to have with me, then I wouldn't be opposed to it at all." Hermione said, still smiling. The idea of having children with Severus made her feel even better about their relationship. Plus, the fact that he asked her about it was even better, because that way, she'd know he'd been thinking about it.

"Weasley..." Severus said, shaking his head. "I'll never understand that at all."

"What is there to understand?" Hermione laughed, nudging at him playfully.

"Well, it's just... You have a brain. Weasley on the other hand... I'm not sure if I can say he actually uses his." Severus smirked.

"In case you haven't noticed, I'm not walking along the London Bridge tonight with Ronald Weasley." Hermione smiled, moving her arm around his thin waist.

"Good." Severus smiled. "Oh, I've got to go talk to Lucius... Do you care to come with?"

Hermione nodded, and Severus looked around to make sure they weren't being watched by anyone, and quickly disapparated. They found themselves at the gates to Malfoy Manor and welcomed themselves inside.

"Severus. To what do we owe the random pleasure?" Lucius asked, smirking as two of his however many women now clung to his sides.

"Adrien's to turn twenty in a week's time, and he wants to have a party here. No truth or dare. I've forbidden it." Severus explained. Lucius laughed.

"What's a party with no truth or dare? In any event, yes, Adrien is more than welcome here any time. And please do tell him to invite... What was her name?" Lucius eyed Hermione expectantly.

"Er... Kendra Cross?" Hermione supplied, unsure.

"Ah, yes. I did like that witch." Lucius smirked.

"Wanton. Anyway, we'll just be going. My gratitude, Lucius. And please, for your sake, practice safe sex." Severus said sarcastically, eyeing the blonde wizard.

Lucius nodded. Hermione grabbed hold of Severus, and they were soon back in Spinner's End. They found Luna and Adrien in the sitting room, huddled in an armchair together. Reading books?

"Are you serious?" Severus asked, with a raised brow at the sight. It was odd when Adrien willingly read books.

"No. I'm Adrien." the younger Snape smirked at his father who rolled his eyes in understanding.

"I didn't mean SIRIUS, I meant, SERIOUS." Severus sighed.

"Well, yes. Luna and I are reading books about... Children."

"So you've talked to her about it then? Already?"

"Well, see.... The thing is... Luna's uh... She's already pregnant..." Adrien trailed off, looking up at his father like an abused animal about to get a beating.

Severus closed his eyes and smiled. "Okay, when did this happen? And how do you know that? And how far along are you, Luna?"

"It happened when we had sex one time, and forgot to use a... contraceptive.....-"

"- I just found out when I was at my father's today, Professor Snape. I was feeling horribly sick, so I ran a pregnancy spell over myself, and it came out... blue..." Luna explained, her pale cheeks flushing red.

"You were drinking at the graduation party..." Severus narrowed his eyes at her.

"Oh, no... I was quite sober. I was only drinking fruit juice. I promise." Luna smiled sweetly.

Now that Severus thought of it, he didn't see her go to the bar one time that night.

"Well, I suppose congratulations are in order, then."

"Oh my gods, Adrien!" Hermione shrieked with tears in her eyes, rushing over to bend and hug the two of them. "You're going to be such great parents!"
