    It's complete!!

    ***************************************

The next few weeks were spent in torment. Draco refused to look at Harry. Harry had finally given up and had stopped pushing. Ron watched him with a worried expression everytime he saw Harry watching Draco.

"Harry, mate, what are you going to do?" Ron asked one day, after potions. Harry shrugged desolately. Harry was still partnered with Draco. Snape seemed to have even more of a vindictive pleasure since their fall out. He refused to let Harry switch partners, even when Draco had put in a plea as well.

Nothing had been different that day. Draco had carefully avoided any eye contact or communication of any sort. Harry had long since given up trying to talk to him. Draco had rushed out of the room as soon as the bell had sounded, dragging Blaise from Michael. Blaise had given him a reproachful look and an apolgetic one to Michael, before allowing Draco to pull him out of the room.

"What, Draco?" Blaise asked when he was finally released within the safety of the Slytherin common room. Draco sneered at him.

"Are you missing you *boyfriend*," he said nastily. Blaise frowned at him.

"Just because my relationship is working and you screwed yours up, doesn't mean you can take it out on me."

"Oh, how little you know me, my sly Slytherin friend. I can take out my anger on anyone I choose."

"Then take it out on Potter. This is his fault, right?" Blaise asked. Draco's scowl turned into a murderous glare. Blaise was a little startled. "What?" He asked.

"Potter," Draco growled menacingly. "This is all his fucking fault! If he wasn't so damn pretty, or smart, or witty, or a *Gryffindor*! None of this would have happened!" Draco took a breath, then continued with his rant. Blaise was glad the common room was empty. "If he hadn't fallen in love with me, it would all be fine! If he would have just told his idiot friends, there wouldn't be a problem! I hate him! I hate everything about him! I can't believe I fell for someone like that!" Draco finished and he was seething with anger.

Blaise stared at him, perplexed and shocked. Draco was in love? Or was it Potter who was? Blaise was beyond confused.

"Wait, he's in love with you? Since when?" Blaise asked, trying to process everything. Draco was still breathing hard and glaring at the fireplace.

"I don't know, a couple weeks ago I guess, maybe longer. I found out a few weeks ago anyway."

"Did he tell you?" Blaise asked.

"Sort of. I'm not sure I was supposed to hear."

"And did you say that you were in love with him?"

"No, I said I hated him, weren't you listening?" Blaise rolled his eyes, he knew Draco better than Draco thought.

"You said you fell for him, that usually means the same thing."

    "It does not, Blaise."

    "You should tell him."

    "You are mad."

"Am not, I'm a Slytherin. I'm going to give you the same advice you gave me, if you want him, go get him!"

    ***

That evening Ron stormed down the stairs from the boys dormatories in a towering rage. He stalked over to where Hermione was sitting, reading a book. She looked up at him mildly interested as he flung himself down into a chair by the fireplace.

"I hate Malfoy!" He said vehemently. Hermione didn't respond, but put down her book to listen. "I can't believe him! Harry won't come down, he won't eat or anything! He is such a git! Just because Harry cared about my feelings, he dumped him, and now he won't talk to him!"

"I think it's deeper than that," Hermione said quietly. Ron glanced at her, his eyebrows furrowed.

"What do you mean?" Ron asked. Hermione glanced around and leaned in closer to Ron.

"I think Draco is afraid of his feelings," she whispered. Ron continued to look confused.

"You mean that he hates him?" Ron asked. Hermione rolled her eyes.

"No, I mean, he loves him."

    "What!?"

    "Not so loud!"

"Oh, Sorry," he said in a hushed voice. "Malfoy loves Harry?"

"Yes, he probably doesn't know how to deal with it though." Ron stood up suddenly and strode toward the portrait hole. "What are you doing!?" Hermione called, alarmed.

"I'm going to help him *deal*" Ron snarled and disappeared through the door. Hermione sighed in dispair and went up to her own dormatory.

    *

Ron wandered the hallways for some time. He had no luck in finding Malfoy. He'd hoped that he might have prefect duty that night, but it appeared not to be so. He was about to give up when he caught sight of a white blond head up ahead in the corridor.

Ron snuck up carefully behind the figure and slid down the hallway after him. Draco walked slowly, with no destination in mind. The conversation with Blaise was still stuck in his mind. Should he really just go after Harry? It was technically his fault too, after all. He shouldn't have pushed so hard to get him to tell. Maybe he hadn't been ready. Draco was so preoccupied with these thoughts, he didn't notice a red haired person slip ahead and behind a statue.

A few steps later, Draco was grabbed roughly from behind and slammed into the cold stone wall, his arms pinned behind him and held by an unseen person.

"What the fuck!" Draco growled. He struggled against who was holding him, but had no luck. Whoever it was had a strong grip.

Ron held fast to the struggling Draco. He wasn't going to let him go without listening to what he had to say. No one hurt Harry and got away with it.

"Listen, Malfoy, and listen good," Draco stopped struggling as he recognized Ron's voice.

"Oh look, the Weasel is trying to help," he sneered. Ron twisted his arm violently and Draco gave a yelp of pain.

"You hurt Harry, and I know how you feel," he felt Draco tense in his grip, "So why don't you get off your fucking high-horse and come visit us lowly people in the land of the feelings."

Draco broke free of Ron's grip and staggard away from him. He turned to him at the end of the passage.

"It's so easy for you, isn't it, Weasel. To admit that you were wrong and make everything right. Well I've got news for you, not everyone can do it, least of all me. Tell your precious Potter, that if he wants to fix it, he has to come, not send his lackey to do the dirty work." and with those parting remarks, Draco vanished from Ron's sight.

Ron shook his head in dispair and failure and returned to the tower.

    *

"Harry," Ron said cautiously as he pushed back the hangings on his fourposter. Harry was lying sprawled on top of the covers. He looked up at Ron when his face appeared. There was no emotion in his gaze. Ron moved aside the hangings all the way. He sat down on the edge of the bed. Harry turned his head back to staring at the ceiling.

    "What, Ron?"

"Er...Harry, I...Well, it just...umm..." Harry gave Ron an exasperated look.

    "What?" He asked impatiently.

"ItalkedotMalfoyandhekindasaidthatwellitsoundedlikehemightforgiveyoubutireallycouldnttellcausehewasmadandIdidntwantoupsethimmore." The entire sentence was one breath and streamed together so quickly that it took Harry two whole minutes to separate an understand.

"He said he would forgive me?" Harry asked, separating what he thought was important.

"Umm...Kind of, in a way..." Ron trailed away.

"What does that mean, 'in a way'?" Harry asked.

"Well, he said that you should come if you wanted to fix it."

"But do you think I could actually fix it?" Harry asked, more pressingly.

"I don't know, Harry, maybe." Harry sat up suddenly, startling Ron.

"I have to go," Harry said urgently and jumped up and pulled on his shoes. Ron stared incredulously at him.

"But, Harry! It's 1 AM, and he's probably in the Slytherin common room by now, how are you going to get in!?" Harry shook his head.

"No idea, but I'm still going. I'll see you later, mate." Harry practically flew down the steps and out the portrait hole.

Luckily he didn't meet any teachers on his way down. The security measures had been mostly repealed since the vanquish of Voldemort, but they still didn't take kindly to students out of bed.

Harry reached the dungeons and found the entrance to the Slytherin common room. He looked around as if he might find a clue to get in. There were no such clues, unfortunately. The only thing in the corridor was a painting of a biblical scene. It was a painting of the Garden of Eden. Eve was resting in the shade of an apple tree as a serpent wound his way around the trunk. Harry had a sudden inspiration, he leaned in close to the painting.

" ~Hello, friend,~" he hissed in parseltongue, "~could you tell me the password to this door?~" The serpent looked incredibly surprised, it had been years since anyone had spoken to him in his own language.

"~Why do you need entranccce, little one?~" The snake hissed.

"~I have special business here~." Harry replied. The snake wasn't entirely convinced, but decided that anyone who spoke parseltongue must be alright.

"~The password is 'lachrymose'~" 'That's a weird password, Harry thought, and somehow fitting.

"~Thanks~" He hissed and turned to the wall and gave the password. The wall swung open, admitting him. He walked confidently into the room. There were still several people still awake. Many of them stared at him as he came inside. He looked around and saw Blaise and Pansy sitting in a corner. They had yet to notice him. He walked over to them.

"Oh my god! Potter!" Pansy shrieked. Blaise looked up, surprised. "How did you get in here?" Pansy demanded. Harry shrugged and directed a question at Blaise.

"Where's Draco?" He asked sternly. Blaise pointed wordlessly at a door leading off the common room. Harry nodded his thanks and took off for the door, all the rest of the Slytherins staring after him.

Draco was looking at his reflection in the mirror and didn't look back as the door opened behind him, assuming it was Blaise. Nothing was said, and Draco became suspicious. He finally turned around to tell off Blaise but was confronted with Harry instead.

"Potter!" He exclaimed. "How did you get in here?" Harry was about a foot away from him and Draco could feel the heat emanating from him.

"That doesn't matter, Draco," He said quietly and moved closer. Draco visibly winced as Harry drew closer. "What's wrong?" Harry asked, concerned. Draco moved away from him and turned his back on him.

"Nothing is wrong, you have to go," he said in a barely audible voice. Harry did nothing of the sort, instead he went back to his original position on front of Draco. Draco gave him a half scathing, half reproachful look.

"I love you," Harry said. Draco swallowed hard and Harry noticed his breathing increase. "Draco?" He ventured. Their eyes met and Harry saw fear in Draco's sparkling, silver eyes.

"You can't love me." Draco stated simply.

"Why not?" Harry asked indignantly. Draco almost laughed at his childish tone, almost.

"Because I'm a Malfoy and we are incapable."

"You are not. You love quidditch, don't you?"

    "It doesn't love me back."

"Well, I do." Harry said firmly. Draco wouldn't look at him, so Harry tilted his face upwards and looked into his eyes. Harry leaned in softly and placed a kiss on Draco's lips. Draco closed his eyes and an unbidden tear rolled down his cheek. Harry brushed it away with his thumb. "Draco, it's okay." Draco looked at him and then looked quickly away.

Harry pulled him into a hug and felt Draco sigh against his shoulder. "Everyone knows," Harry said. "I'm not afraid. I want to be with you, I love you." Draco pulled back out of the hug.

"I c-can't say it yet." He mumbled. Harry smiled knowingly.

"It's okay, I know how you feel."

Draco grabbed Harry and dragged him into a mind-blowing kiss. Tongues battled for dominance and Draco's tongue stud scraped Harry's tongue. Harry moaned loudly and pulled Draco to the bed. They collapsed on top of it and Draco crawled on to Harry. He ground his hips into him and Harry arched in response.

"Draco," Harry gasped. Draco nipped his lower lip and delved again into his open mouth.

"God, I've wanted this for weeks," Draco whispered as he moved to Harry's neck. Harry moaned in pleasure.

"Me too." Draco's hands roamed over his body and skimmed his skin. Everywhere he touched on Harry burned. Harry gasped again as his shirt was torn off and Draco's lips and talented tongue were on his tanned skin. Minutes later Harry's pants were removed also, along with Draco's.

Draco tore away Harry's boxers. Their two erections rubbed together and Harry bucked under Draco.

"God, Draco!" Harry gasped. Draco smirked.

"You like that?" He asked slyly.

"Fuck, yes!" Harry cried out as Draco ground harder. Harry's emerald eyes were clouded in pleasure. Draco grabbed his wand and muttered spell. He pushed into Harry quickly. Harry bucked into him uncontrollably and grabbed onto the covers to control him self. Both boys were panting from the force of the movements. Draco moved inside Harry, bringing him to climax after climax. When they were both spent, they curled up together under the silk sheets.

"Draco, I think we forgot the silencing charm again."

    "Damn Gryffindors!"
