Hermione sat outside on the porch of 12 Grimmauld Place. She
stared into the dark night, thinking about everything that Ginny had to deal
with.
The Weasley family did not seem too pleased about Ginny’s situation. Hermione
didn’t know how Ginny handled such an opinionated family. If she had been in
Ginny’s shoes, she’s sure she would have caved in about what her parents wanted
her to do within the hour.
Ginny was a strong woman, there was no doubt about that.
“What are you doing outside
all by yourself love?”
Hermione looked over to the door way and smiled softly.
Sirius stepped out onto the porch and sat on the swing next to Hermione. He
grabbed her hand and rubbed the top gently with his finger tips. Hermione bit
her lip and tried to ignore the hot little shivers going through her body.
“Just enjoying a little peace and quiet—Ginny’s family can get quite rowdy when
they want to,” Hermione said.
“That is the understatement of the night. I can’t blame them though—their
daughter is bound to a greasy git, I’d be a little
mad myself,” Sirius said running his fingers through her thick locks.
“Well, Professor Snape can be a bit … difficult sometimes,”
Sirius snorted.
“But he won’t hurt Ginny or allow anyone to harm her,”
Sirius pulled Hermione closer to his body.
“I have to admit, Snape does have a bit of a protective
streak for those he finds are worth his protection—even if he is a git,”
Hermione rubbed the side of Sirius’ jaw. Sirius purred at
her touch and closed his eyes to savor the softness of her hand.
“I missed you while you were away,” Sirius said, opening his
eyes to look into Hermione’s chocolate ones.
“I missed you too—I mean, we didn’t get to spend a lot of
couple time together but the little time we did was nice,”
“What do you want us to be Hermione? Do you want to keep it
casual or do you want more,” Sirius asked.
Hermione looked at Sirius in surprise. A guy didn’t
typically ask questions like that.
“What do you want Sirius?” Hermione countered.
Sirius moved a lock of curly brown hair out of Hermione’s
face and rubbed her soft cheek with the pad of this thumb.
“I want us to be more luv—can’t you feel the magic in the air when we kiss or make
love? It was meant to be,” Sirius asked.
Hermione felt her heart melt at his words. She couldn’t
believe that he wanted to be with her! It was something she didn’t imagine
happening in a million years. He was still handsome, and despite his washed out
looks from prison he never stopped charming the pants off of every female he
had ever encountered. But, logical Hermione just couldn’t take what he said at
face value.
“I don’t know
Sirius—I don’t think it would be such a good idea for us to get together at
this point. You’re stuck in this house and the only women you see are me,
Ginny, Mrs. Weasley, and Tonks. What happens when you’re finally allowed to
roam free again? What if you find your true soul mate after you have dedicated
your life to me?”
“Hermione, I’m not stupid—I know I’ve been kind of deprived
of women since I’ve gotten out of prison. I’m not after you for an easy shag; I could easily get the same thing by simply owling a few trusted people who would love to fuck me
again. I want to be with you because I think you’re intelligent, beautiful, and
loyal to a fault. Those qualities are hard to find in a woman. I know I’m
asking a lot in having you put your heart on the line for me but I think we
have a good chance of making it work,”
Hermione bit her lip
and looked at their entwined fingers. If she were smart, she would tell him no
and just take Ron up on his offer to start dating—at least she knew for a fact
that Ron wouldn’t break her heart.
But Sirius was like forbidden fruit—he was handsome,
intelligent, loaded (not that Hermione was after money but it was a plus), and
shagged like a god. She didn’t know if he would stay with her when it was all
over and if everyone survived.
‘I can’t spend my life
afraid of being hurt. I’ll have to trust my heart on this one and not my
brain.’
“Fine Sirius—I’ll see where this takes us as long as we take
everything slow. I don’t want anyone to know about this quite yet though. It
would cause too many questions, too much conflict and too much interference in
our relationship,”
Sirius frowned at Hermione when she mentioned keeping it a
secret but let it go for the time being. If that’s all it took to be with her,
he would do it.
“Great luv—should
we kiss each other to seal the deal?”
Hermione smiled softly and pulled his head down.
The new couple made out on the porch of the grimy mansion
underneath the stars.
---
Hermione walked into the room that she was sharing with
Ginny.
Ginny was lying on the bed, staring into the ceiling with her hand on her
slightly protruding belly.
“Hey Gin,” Hermione said softly.
“Sometimes, having six brothers is not all it’s cracked up to be,” Ginny said
as a greeting.
“So I take it your family meeting didn’t go well tonight?” asked Hermione.
“That’s the understatement of the year—my family freaked out. Mum yelled at me
and tried to order me to stay home and my brothers were coming up with
elaborate ways to kill Snape,”
Hermione nodded her head sympathetically nodded her head.
“What did you end up telling them?” Hermione asked, climbing
onto her bed.
Ginny blushed to the roots of her hair.
“Well, I may have jumped the gun on this one but I told them
that because I was bound to Snape, I was technically his wife and that they
didn’t have any kind of power of me any longer,”
Hermione nearly fell out of her bed in shock.
“You didn’t Ginny,”
Ginny’s face became even redder but she nodded her head yes.
“Well it’s true. All it really takes for two magical beings
to be considered married is a bond. Me and Snape are
bound together, therefore, according to the Ministry, I am his wife,”
Hermione tapped her chin with her finger, thinking over
everything Ginny said.
“Now that I think about it, you are right Gin—your family
has no parental power over you any longer … and Snape’s your husband,” Hermione
shuddered.
Ginny frowned.
“Hey, he may be a greasy git but
he is a good shag partner and he can be sweet when he wants to be,”
Hermione couldn’t hide the look of skepticism in her eyes.
“If you say so,” she said.
Ginny decided to save that argument for another day when she
wasn’t burned out and turned the conversation around.
“So how are things going with you and Sirius? I thought I
saw you kissing outside tonight when I went to close the window,”
It was Hermione’s turn to blush.
“Well, it was strange actually. I was sitting on the porch
swing, enjoying his company when he actually told me that he wanted us to
become a serious couple,”
“That’s great Hermione! It took you long enough to make
things official with him, I mean how long has it been? Two months?”
“Yeah about two months but you have to promise me you won’t
tell anyone else about this relationship at this moment—I want us to enjoy
getting to know each other better without everyone interfering with it,”
“Hermione, you don’t have to worry about a thing there. Who
am I going to tell? My family’s pissed at me,” Ginny said.
“But they won’t be forever Gin—they love you,”
Ginny sighed.
“I guess you’re right about that, I just wish they would
stop treating me like a baby—it’s irritating,”
“I can only imagine,”
Ginny finally shifted on the bed, moving to lie on her side
and face Hermione
“You know Herms, you’re one of my best girlfriends and I don’t know how I would
have gotten through these past few months without your support. If something
were to happen to me, I would want my children to have someone like you to look
out for them. Would you be the god mother of my twins?”
Hermione squealed and jumped up and down on her bed in excitement. She rushed
across the room and gave Ginny a bear hug.
“Are you crazy? Of course I’ll be the twin’s godmum!”
Ginny could only
grunt because Hermione was hugging her so tight.
“Hermione, I understand that you’re pleased but could you
please let me out of your death grip, I can’t breathe,”
“Oh, sorry Gin,” Hermione said loosening her hold but not
letting Ginny out of the hug.
Ginny had to forcibly remove her friend’s hold on her,
giggling the whole time.
“You know Hermione, you’re a brave girl. Not many people would
take on being the godmother of the Snape children,” Ginny said flopping back
down on her bed.
Hermione snorted. She put her hands on her hips.
“I can take on anything now that I’ve had to deal with
Professor Snape on a personal level. I attempted to tell him what I thought was
best for him to do and let me just say that he was not very happy,”
“When did you do
that?” asked Ginny raising an eyebrow.
“When you passed out in my room, he was the one to actually
take you to the hospital wing. Malfoy was getting suspicious about everything
so I tried to tell him to be careful about the care he showed you,”
Ginny whistled.
“That was brave Hermione … or it was stupid. I can’t decide
which one it is,”
Hermione stuck out her tongue at Ginny and hit her with a
pillow.
“Hey!”
Ginny grabbed a free pillow and knocked Hermione upside the
head a few times. It was after their epic pillow fight went on for five minutes
when there was a knock on the door.
“Come in,” Hermione said, giggling when Ginny hit her in the
head with a pillow once again.
Harry walked into a room of two girls in Hogwarts uniforms
(unbuttoned shirts but he wasn’t looking) hitting each other with pillows.
His face turned bright red and his smile was a little
brittle.
“Oh hey Harry,” Ginny said, ducking Hermione’s pillow.
“Hey Gin, hey ‘Mione—do you mind if I talk to Ginny
alone?” he
asked.
Hermione hit Ginny with the pillow one last time before
slipping out of the bed.
She mouthed to Ginny ‘Don’t wait up for me tonight’ and left
the room, unbuttoned uniform and all.
Ginny shook her head and put the pillow down. Harry sat down
next to her, trying not to look down her shirt.
“What’s up?” Ginny asked.
“I’m here to offer my proposal again. Gin—you don’t have to
do all of this,”
Ginny let out a sigh of frustration.
“If I didn’t want to do it I would say no. No one forced me
to keep my babies or to agree to become a Death Eater. I don’t want to do these
things but I can’t run away and hide like a little girl when I’m faced with a
challenge,”
Harry jumped from the bed, his face red and his green eyes
bright.
“Gin this isn’t a challenge it’s your life!”
“It’s everyone’s life Harry and if I don’t do what I need to
do a lot of good people can die!”
“Oh, like Snape?” Harry said sarcastically, “He doesn’t even
really like you,”
“How would you know that Harry?
You’ve always hated Snape. You may not like him and he may not like you but it
doesn’t mean that he doesn’t care about me,” Ginny retorted.
“I know because I only began to hate Snape when he made it
clear that he hated me,”
“Oh bullshit Harry! Snape only
really started to hate you because you made his job to protect you even
harder,”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about Ginny—Snape hates me
because I look just like my father and he hated my father because my mother
chose him over the greasy git,”
Ginny jumped from the bed and poked at Harry’s chest with
her finger.
“That is not true! You take that back!”
Harry glared at Ginny.
“You really don’t know do you? My mum’s rejection of Snape
was the reason he joined the Death Eaters,”
Ginny glared back at Harry but her eyes were filled with
uncertainty.
“No, he joined because he felt peer pressure to join by his
House,”
“Snape was in love with my mum for a long time Gin and when
she rejected him to be with my father he joined the Death Eaters. In fact, I
think the only reason he even wants to stay with you is because you look like
my mum and that’s the closest he’ll ever get to fucking her,”
Ginny struck Harry hard on his cheek. The room filled with a
tense silence as Ginny’s brown eyes filled with tears. Harry realized his
mistake immediately.
“Oh shit Gin I—”
Ginny ran from the room before Harry could say anything
more.
Order members who
were crowded in different parts of the hallway saw Ginny running past them with
tears streaming down her face. They called after her but she continued to run
down the stairs and out the door into the cool November night. She waved her
wand and was disillusioned so that no one could see her.
She ran and ran until the house was no more and the voices
calling after her stopped.
Ginny stopped at a quiet park. She went to the nearest bench
and sat down, catching her breath.
She couldn’t believe Harry would say something like that to
her. Of course Snape really felt a connection with her; he wouldn’t bother
dealing with her otherwise … would he?
‘I look nothing like
Harry’s mum, she was way more beautiful than I was and her eyes were green,’
Ginny thought staring at the ground.
Yet, the nasty words Harry spat at her wouldn’t leave her
head. He was a lot more informed about Snape’s history than she ever was,
simply because everyone kept everything from her.
What if Snape really were only after her because she
reminded him of Harry’s mum? What if the bond was superficial and he wasn’t
staring to develop feelings for her? What if all he saw her as was a quick shag?
Doubt over ran Ginny’s body at an alarming rate. She never
once doubted Snape’s feelings for her until Harry pointed out the reality of
everything. How could she live with a man who thought of another woman when
they shagged?
The cool November air hit Ginny hard but she welcomed it.
She welcomed anything that would push the doubt of Snape’s feelings for her out
of her mind.
The moon was hidden behind dark storm clouds and the leaves
rustled in the wind. It was almost too silent. She rubbed her goosebump ridden arms and looked around the dark park.
Maybe it was time to go back.
‘And when I get back
I’m flooing to Hogwarts to talk to a certain Potions
Master about his intentions toward me,’
Ginny put her hand on her belly, feeling the magic jump into
her finger tips and calm her nerves enough to breath normally again.
She still didn’t know why her babies emitted magic but she
was sure it had something to do with the bonding potion. It was nice, knowing
that all she had to do was touch her belly to get some energy, or relief from
emotionally trying days but she did wonder if it would go away after the babies
were born.
‘Hopefully the war is
over by then,’ Ginny thought standing from the bench.
She rubbed her arms even more to warm up. The Grimmauld
Place was sounding better and better by the minute. If she didn’t get inside
soon she would freeze to death in the cold wind.
Ginny took her wand and canceled the disillusioned spell she
had on her person.
She walked toward the Headquarters, singing songs under her
breath.
Ginny stopped walking when she heard some footsteps behind
her. She looked over her shoulder but saw nothing.
Thinking that it was her imagination, Ginny continued to
walk. She heard footsteps again, but on her right hand side.
She looked again but didn’t see anyone.
Ginny knew that something was happening; she could feel it
in her gut. She walked faster toward the Order Headquarters, the footsteps
matching her pace.
She broke into a run and tried to scream when two strong
arms hugged her and they disappeared into the night.
---
Ginny was dumped onto one of the softest surfaces she had
ever felt in her life. She was in a very large room, approximately the size of
three dorms in Hogwarts put together from end to end. The furniture was lush
and luxurious and expensive.
The long windows were covered with green curtains and the
walls beautifully decorated with emerald green paint that shone brightly.
The carpet was plush and shaggy, made from a magical
material that could only be found in the deepest parts of the forest in South
America. It was heavenly.
Ginny was so busy looking at her surroundings, that she
missed a murmured spell that bound her arms and legs together.
“Look your fill young Ginevra—this is probably the best thing you will ever
come into contact with as a Weasley,”
Ginny turned sharply and felt her stomach turn inside out at
the sight of Lucius Malfoy. He sat in a wing back chair near the fireplace with
a glass of red wine in his hands. His cane sat across his expensive trousers.
He gave Ginny an evil smile and inclined his head in greeting.
She remembered that smile from her first year of Hogwarts,
when he dumped Tom Riddle’s journal into her cauldron.
Lucius Malfoy looked like he belonged in a magazine. He had
long blonde hair that shone and bounced with a body that made Ginny green with
envy.
His eyes were a beautiful piercing grey and his lips shapely enough for her to
think about kissing.
Lucius had hands that made one think he would be a very gentle lover. His lips
looked as if he would caress every inch of a woman’s body. His slim but
powerful hips made it look as if he would take a woman firmly, making her cum a
sinful amount of times before ever finishing.
“How did you find me,” Ginny asked slowly, trying to keep
her voice from shaking. Whether it was from fear or desire she wasn’t sure.
‘Wait
Desire? Where in the hell did
that thought come from,’
Ginny shook her head and tried to concentrate on what Lucius
was saying.
“Why a simple tracking charm was all we needed to get you my
dear though this charm was a bit more complex. It cannot be detected and it
tells us when would be the ideal time to take you away from your friends and
family,” Lucius said.
He took a small sip of his wine and leaned back into his
chair. He sighed in pleasure.
“Draco, would you be so kind to sit Miss Weasley next to
me?” asked Lucius rolling the stem of his wine glass between his fingers.
Ginny found herself strangely
fascinated by the way his hands moved across the glass. She felt her panties
flood with heat as Draco (had Draco been there the whole time?) picked her up
and carried her over to where his father sat.
She could feel his fingers trying to feel up everything on
her body and started to struggle to stop him from doing so.
“Keep your hands to yourself you bloody asshole!”
“Draco,” Lucius said sharply.
A blush creped over Draco’s face and his hands stopped their
journey through her body.
The rest of the journey to Lucius was silent. Ginny didn’t
understand why she was so calm about the whole thing. The last thing she needed
was to be sitting at Malfoy Manor getting felt up by Draco Malfoy but she was
strangely at ease with the whole entire situation.
As Draco sat her on the floor, all she could do was look up
into Lucius’ beautiful grey eyes.
The magic started to flood from their bodies and swirl
around them.
Lucius could feel his cock hardening painfully as the
Weasley chit stared up at him. The magic swirling around them was practically
telling him to fuck her brains out.
‘No, something is not
right about that—I have never had an attraction to a blood traitor and never
will,’ he thought looking away from her.
He looked at his son who was staring at Ginny Weasley like she
was a cookie from the cookie jar he wasn’t allowed to have.
Without warning, jealously rose in his chest. What right did
his son have to drool after the woman he wanted to screw bit wasn’t allowed to?
Lucius shook his head and put his glass down.
“Miss Weasley, I’ve been hearing from both Draco and Severus
that you are interested in joining the Dark Lord,”
Ginny simply stared at him with the same fire and heat in
her eyes.
Lucius ignored the obvious signs of female arousal and
continued to speak.
“Miss Weasley, the last thing this war needs is another incompetent teenager
who believes that they can be a hero and win the war for their side. We both
know that you’re still loyal to the Order of Phoenix and we know for a fact
that your family would not agree with letting you become a spy for the Order,
just so you can play a part in fighting—”
“Father,” Draco interrupted, furrowing his brow at his
father’s uncharacteristic show of emotions and true intentions.
Lucius stared at Ginny in shock, unable to believe he just
said what he did. It was so like what a Gryffindor would do.
Lucius stared into the raging fire for a few moments, trying
to compose himself. Every time he wanted to open his mouth and speak, he ended
up telling her his true intentions and feelings.
The magic swirling around them became more intense—so
intense that he couldn’t concentrate on being deceitful.
He took a large sip of his red wine and rubbed his temples.
The urge to say what he really wanted to say was
overwhelming.
“I—oh hell. There’s no need for you
to join the Dark Lord Ginevra. We’re doing everything we can to make sure he
doesn’t win so that Potter can destroy him,”
“Father, what are you doing!” Draco
exclaimed, moving away from the fireplace.
“I’m doing what we set out to do in the first place,”
“Don’t you get it father? She’s a traitor to the Order! Now
she’s going to turn us in and we’ll be dead,” Draco moaned.
“Watch your tone when you’re talking with me boy, I know
what I’m doing,” Lucius snapped.
Ginny looked back and forth between both Malfoy’s, too
shocked by what was going on to ask any questions.
Lucius looked at Ginny, the hardness in his eyes softening
into one of … well Ginny didn’t quite know what was going on with Lucius Malfoy
and his feelings at the moment—it was like he was a completely different man
from the one she knew before.
“Ginevra, there’s a lot of misconception about me out there. Everyone believes
that I am loyal to the Dark Lord when it is far from the truth—I joined him
because I was expected to. Honestly, anyone with a brain can see the man is
crazy. I refuse to follow a man who does nothing more than slaughter not only mudbloods, but his own followers. I’m smarter than most
people give me credit for. For this reason, I cannot allow you to join the Dark
Lord. We need to help the Order as much as possible,”
Draco groaned and flopped onto one of the chairs nearest to
him. Ginny could hear him whisper, ‘We’re dead, we’re dead,’ over and over
again underneath his breath.
Ginny continued to stare at Lucius in shock. What the fuck
was going on? She looked around the room, waiting for Voldemort to pop out from
behind a table or chair yelling SURPISE!
“You want the Dark Lord to fail?” she finally asked, after she gained her voice
back.
Lucius downed the rest of his wine.
“Of course I want the Dark Lord to fail. He’s trying to kill off my line. No
Malfoy is that loyal,”
He set his wine glass down and flicked a strand of silky
blonde hair behind his shoulder.
Ginny closed her eyes, feeling a headache coming. ‘Okay Gin, think logically.
Make sense of this first before trying to figure out a solution to this
madness.’
She opened her eyes and pinned Lucius with an intense stare.
“Why haven’t you gone to Dumbledore yet,” she asked bluntly.
“I can’t go to him with the Dark Lord watching my every move. I know about the
Order, only because of the first War with The Dark Lord. I need to find out
where the Order meets so I can know that I’m safe from prying eyes. Even if I
did find the meeting place, I can’t just waltz into one of their meetings. I’d
be dead before anyone can question why I’m there and Snape would be the one to
likely throw the first curse."
“Father really? Why are you telling her all of this,” Draco’s muffled voice
came from the couch cushion.
Both Ginny and Lucius ignored him and continued to stare at
each other.
Lucius watched Ginny wince as she tried to get comfortable
with all of her limbs bound. He took pity on her and released them.
Ginny rubbed her wrist and stomped into the ground to get
the blood going again. She could feel Lucius staring at her lack of modesty.
Her skirt was riding above her knees and her shirt was unbuttoned enough for
him to see peaks of her bra.
She could feel her panties flood with heat at the thought of
him admiring her form.
The magic was becoming harder for both of them to bear.
Ginny wanted to rape him but she was sure it was a common occurrence with any
female who laid eyes on Lucius Malfoy.
“What if I told you that I could get you to join the Order?”
Ginny asked, snapping out of her thoughts.
Lucius raised an eyebrow and Draco’s snort could be heard from across the room.
“What do you mean join the Order, just a few days ago, you were talking about
becoming a Death Eater—do you even know which side you want to be on,” Draco
asked sitting up from where he laid.
“You don’t understand—I have to join you-know-who to be
properly protected,”
“Protected from what? I thought your family of body guards and
Potter protected you enough,” Draco said.
“Will you shut the fuck up for a second and let me explain
you blonde ferret?” Ginny snapped, finally losing her temper.
Lucius’ eyebrows nearly reached his hairline.
“Ferret?” he asked Draco.
Draco’s face was beet red but his lips were sealed shut.
“You’ll have all the answers you need but I need you both to
take a wand oath for me. I can’t have you ‘accidentally’ letting any of this
information get out,”
“How do we know we can trust you?” Lucius asked.
Ginny shrugged.
“You can make me take one as well,”
Lucius sized Ginny up with his eyes. Despite the fact that
she was a Gryffindor, she was a Slytherin at heart. No Gryffindor would have
thought to even attempt to make them take a wand oath. She was too smart and
Lucius knew for a fact a girl as smart as Ginny Weasley would know to find
loopholes in a wand oath if she wanted to betray them.
Lucius waved his wand over Ginny, ignoring her exclamation
of anger. Lucius leaned back in his chair and picked up his glass once again
when he was satisfied the magic settled over her body.
“What did you just do to me?” Ginny raged, her face turning
bright red.
“This is an ancient Malfoy spell—if you accidentally or
intentionally attempt betray us, the magic will transport you back to Malfoy
Manor before anything important or vital can get out,”
Ginny crossed her arms over her bosom angry that he would
put that kind of magic on her body without asking her first.
“Fine, but that means you have to take my wand oath—and you
too ferret,” Ginny said.
Draco glared at Ginny but walked to where her
and Lucius were when his father motioned for it.
After Ginny laid out the conditions and argued with the
Malfoy’s about it, magic swirled around them as the oath took place.
Lucius waved Ginny over to the chair close to him.
“Pepper!”
A small house elf appeared in the room. Lucius ordered some
tea and sandwiches for everyone in the room.
“What you have to say had better be worthy of me giving you
such a secret oath,” Lucius said.
Ginny simply leaned back into her chair and stared into the
fire.
The room was silent and the magic coaxing Ginny and Malfoy
to join together was unbearable.
She wanted to analyze why the magic was forcing her to be
with Lucius but every time she did, her mind wandered to what she wanted to do
to him instead of why she wanted to
do him in the first place.
The long, tense moment of silence was finally over when the tea arrived. While Ginny ate an unhealthy amount of
sandwiches, she told them about Pansy, the bonding potion, shagging Snape and
being pregnant.
The room was silent. Draco was looking at her as if he had never known her and
Lucius face was carefully blank.
“You’re pregnant?” Draco said flatly.
Ginny nodded.
“With twins?”
Ginny nodded again.
“Right now?”
Ginny let out a frustrated sigh.
“Merlin, do you want a play by play account of me and Snape shagging? Gods,
just do the pregnancy spell if you don’t believe me,” she said throwing up her
arms in frustration.
Lucius whipped his wand out of his cane and ran it over Ginny. The familiar
bright yellow light surrounding Ginny confirmed what she had said earlier.
“I can’t believe it,” Lucius murmured.
“I can—her and Snape have been
shagging like bloody rabbits,” Draco mumbled.
Lucius glared at Draco, making him shut his mouth when he
was about to make another retort.
“Has Severus found out what kind of bonding potion this is
yet?”
Ginny shrugged.
“If he did he hasn’t told me about it. We can’t very well
ask Pansy since she’ll ruin our plan when she runs her mouth to her parents,”
Ginny said.
Lucius rubbed his chin with his fingers and leaned back into
his chair. Was it just a coincidence or was him being bound to an unknown being
have something to do with Snape and Ginny?
It was possible that Pansy found something in the Malfoy
library to use against Snape and Ginny that unbeknownst to the teen, affected
him as well.
“Are you having any special side effects from the bond at
all?” Lucius asked rubbing his chin in thought.
“Well, there is this,”
Without hesitation, Ginny grabbed Lucius’ hand and placed it
on her belly. As soon as he felt an insane amount of magic flowing from her
body to his, he snatched it away.
“What in Merlin’s name is that?” he asked, gesturing to her
stomach and his hand.
Ginny shrugged a shoulder and stayed silent. What could she say? She barely
understood it herself.
“That must be a very potent bonding potion to still be alive in your
children—the Dark Lord would find pleasure in the extra magic for sure if you
are forced to become a Death Eater,” Lucius said, tapping the head of his cane
with his fingers.
“What do you mean if? I have to do this,” Ginny said.
Lucius’ eyes hardened.
“You will not join the Dark Lord as an idiotic scheme to
show everyone that you’re not a baby anymore. You will be fucked, tortured and
used until this war is over. I know of other options we can use to keep you
safe without you having to resort to taking the mark but until we talk about
these options, you will not be thrust out like a common whore,”
“Who are you to tell me what to do? I simply told you what you needed to know
about the situation—that doesn’t give you the right to tell me if I can or
cannot take the Mark?” Ginny snapped, standing from her chair.
Lucius looked up at her in astonishment for a moment (for he
was not used to people talking back to him) and stood to his full height, cane
in his hand and all.
“This is something you will not be a brat about. The Dark
Lord will break you and trust me; most of the people he breaks are never the
same ever again,”
Lucius didn’t wait for Ginny’s retort—instead he turned sharply to Draco, who
simply stood there watching their argument with amused eyes. Lucius Malfoy was
a scary man, but he would bet all of his money that Ginny was a hell of a lot
scarier.
“Watch her while I go out to get Severus, and for the love of
Merlin boy don’t touch her. Not only will Severus break your fingers off but I
will have to castrate you and I can’t very well do that—I have no interest in
creating another heir for the Malfoy fortune,”
After being satisfied that he son would behave and that
