  Draco woke up with a groan, his shoulder and left arm throbbing and what felt like fire rushing through his veins, a blazing inferno that wove itself within every cell of his being.  His heart beat so fast it seemed to be just one continuous pulse, and each breath was short, the inhale and exhale both equally excruciating.  His skin felt too tight, and every joint ached, someone touched his hand and he screamed, unable to stand even the gentlest touch of anything else.  Even the tears slipping down his gaunt cheeks seemed like lava, the liquid doing nothing to sooth the fire burning through his system.

  
  

  
  ‘Accept me, accept this fate,’ A voice whispered insidiously.  Draco panted arching away as more hands landed on his too hot and sensitive skin, biting clear through his lip to not scream.  Suddenly his muscles contorted, loosening and hardening against in rapid succession, leaving him no room to handle the new pain washing through his already agonized system, ‘simple accept, and you can rest through the rest of this,’

  
  

  
  “Yes! Yes! Anything! Just stop this!” The last came out of Draco’s throat in a whirlwind of nearly incoherent and breathless begging.  He heard a joyful howl echo his mind, merging with him and placing a blissful salve on his entire being, physical and mental.  His muscles relaxed, and the fire extinguished as though it had never been, leaving him feeling strong and powerful in the few moments he had to savor his relief before his exhaustion pulled him under into a deep and healing sleep.

  But in all seriousness, i'm sorry for the long ass wait, and I know this short bit is anti-climatic after such a long wait.  School got chaotic as hell for the end of the semester and to top it all off I landed in the hospital for two weeks battling pneumonia.  Finally out and able to take a shit by myself! So that is why it is so short, next will be a TBWA update tomorrow, and then we'll get back to our regularly schedualed chapters as I get used to being healthy again!
