James P.O.V

It was easy to make Lily squirm, I still knew how to tick her off. Sirius was looking at the little boy that called Hermione ‘mom’ I knew he was beginning to put two and two together. However the other little boy, Lily’s boy. I knew he was mine. Why not tell us before we received our marks? We would have walked away from it all.

The road we had been on had been hard and long, neither of us wanted to fight anymore, the dark was going to win. Most people had realized that. That was why it had been rumored that Dumbledore had started a secret group of top auror’s and former top students that were on the light side. None of us had believed it until a few days ago. Jesus Christ why had we decided to take that damn mission? There had been rumors there was something called the ‘Order of the Phoenix’ we’d never seen any proof but as far as proving the rumors whoever had crossed them got a one way trip to Azkaban. No questions asked.

Lily and Hermione being members? That had blindsided us. But the icing on the whole proverbial cake, had been finding out Lily and Hermione were mothers to kids who looked identical to us. Yet no one mentioned who the fathers were and they apparently weren’t in the picture. It was easy to see why now. We were their fathers. Lily’s boy, Harry, looked just like me, except for the eyes, they were Lily’s. Hermione’s little boy, Remus had called him Ry. It was obviously short for something. Sirius would do one of two things when everything finally clicked. Either he’d explode, or he’d get quiet…very quiet and when he got like that, he got reckless. It was worse then him exploding.

I turned and Saw Hermione walking down the hallway next to Remus who seemed very stiff, almost angry. I saw Sirius sniff the air a look of confusion clouding his face. I did the same and caught it. Lily smelled like Hermione, but Hermione smelled of Remus and very faintly like Lily. What the hell was going on here? I wasn’t sure what I should be thinking. It was obvious everyone in this house was close. But even the closest of friends didn’t smell the way these three did. There was something more that we were missing.

Hermione’s P.O.V

I was confused, Remus kissing me had thrown me. It wasn’t that I didn’t care for him because I did. So did Lily and at one point both of us had considered acting on how we felt. But the reason I hadn’t was because of my feelings for Sirius, even though the relationship had been over for four years I was still in love with him. I couldn’t just stop feeling the way I had. But Remus kissing me and pulling me against him so roughly. The kiss hadn’t just been to make sure I didn’t smell of Lily it had been almost as if he was trying to tell me that he wanted me.

Lily and Remus almost had ended up sleeping together. They had been drunk, and one thing had led to another and then Dorcas had stumbled in and both of them had scrambled away from each other and refused to mention anything. They never talked of what had almost happened and from what I knew he had been the only other man Lily had ever shown interest in. Which is why she slept with Women. Something I was beginning to understand more and more especially with the way she could work my body.

I pushed those thoughts from my head and smiled as Orion turned to look at me his face lighting up as he ran to me hugging my legs. I watched as Lily sent a quick smile in my direction before flipping a pancake over. The kids ate breakfast while James and Sirius kept their eyes on us. Remus looked angry and confused. Lily looked at me confused and I motioned for her to follow me with a slight nod of my head.

We walked into the bathroom and closed the door before casting a silencing charm. “What’s going on?” she asked me confused. “Remus kissed me.” I burst out causing her to look at me confused. “what?” She asked. “He said, Sirius and James would be able to smell us on each other and piece something together. But when he kissed me, it was possesive almost.” I whispered sitting on the counter surrounding the sink. “Mione it’s no secret how Remus feels about the both of us. He wasn’t doing it just to hide our scent.” Lily answered. “I know.” I groaned. Remus wanted to make a point that he wanted us, it didn’t matter which.

“Are you ok?” she asked stroking my cheek. “No, I’m not. All of this, it’s too much. I’m terrified they’ll figure out why the boys look like them.” I whispered. “If they do they can’t do anything. Their death eaters.” Lily assured. “They could kidnap them.” I whispered. “Hey look at me.” She ordered lifting my chin. “their not touching our boys and their not going to play us. They’ll try but we won’t let them.”

I sighed knowing exactly what Sirius and James were capable of. “Do you think they know?” I asked looking into Lily’s emerald eyes the same eyes Harry had, in the future and now. Only they still held the innocence that had been snuffed out in the future due to fighting and the constant threat of war. His future so far had been changed by me. Lily and James were still alive but not together, and now I had a son, who in the future had never existed. Sirius and James were death eaters again something that hadn’t happened. However the whole reason for me being sent back was to stop that from happening. Somewhere along the way I had noticed something was wrong. I couldn’t pin point it. But whatever the Voldemort in the future had been up to, he’d been very discreet.

I ran my hands through my hair. “They’ll figure it out eventually. That’s my fear. When they do, I know they can’t get any type of custody legally. But both of their family’s are very powerful. The ministry can be bought.” she whispered faintly. I nodded knowing she was right. If it could happen in the future it could happen even easier in the past. However, from what I had learned, Charlus and Dorea Potter had no idea of their son’s affiliation with Voldemort. However the Blacks were overjoyed that their son had finally come to his senses and accepted the dark.

The Blacks would come after us, Mr and Mrs. Potter who Lily and I still kept in touch with and new about the existence of both our boys wouldn’t. They didn’t know why we were keeping the secret. Well why Lily was anyway, but they respected her decision. So without their support it would fall directly on the Blacks to try and take our sons. Something that would not happen without one hell of a fight. “Whoa, calm down there Mama grizzly.” Lily said smiling. I looked up surprised. “You look like your ready to kill the both of them.” I shrugged, “When it comes to the children. In a second. I love Sirius, I always have. But if he tries to take Orion from me…I’ll kill him in a second.” I whispered before crying. Lily pulled me to her rubbing circles on my back. I felt something wet hit my neck and realized she was crying as well.

Remus P.O.V

I watched the two women disappear into the bathroom, and after a few minutes I could smell their anger and fear. Those were the two smells I hated the most, they were acrid and made my head pound. I hadn’t smelt them often but when I did, it worried me. Both of them were so strong. But how much longer could they stay that way? It wasn’t as if they could take the weight of the world on their shoulders even though Merlin knows they tried.

I cast a side glance and Sirius and James. The two of them had been my best friends at one time. Now though, after seeing what Hermione and Lily had gone through I would have loved the chance to come across them during a full moon. I ran a hand tiredly over my face, I shouldn’t think like that, but the anger and betrayal, it still stung.

On top of those two being here there was also this…whatever it was going on between Lily and Mione. I had never suspected Hermione of being into women. She still said she wasn’t but that it was different with Lily. I had smelled their arousal around each other that night they had come out and Hermione had stopped the fight. The smell had hit me like a ton of bricks. I had been confused until I had calmed down and thought about it.

I had known about Lily for awhile anyway. After we had almost…one drunken night. After that I had pulled her aside. She had looked at me, her eyes sad. “I don’t sleep with men anymore Remus, it only causes complications.” I had looked at her. “Lily, I can smell it.” She had blushed. “I don’t sleep with men, I sleep with women.” She whispered. I had gotten over my shock and accepted it. We didn’t speak about it.

Oddly enough though, Hermione and Lily understood each other both having gone through the same thing. Becoming so close it was natural there would be some kind of feelings between them. I had never thought that it would come to that though. Smelling the arousal between the both of them…it was hard to be around. So hard to be around. “Problem Lupin?” James asked gaining my attention. I narrowed my eyes “Do you ever keep quiet?” I asked in annoyance. “Silence doesn’t suit me.” He shrugged. Still as cocky and obnoxious as ever. Some things didn’t change, no matter how much everything else had.

Hermione’s P.O.V

My lips met Lily’s our hands roaming over each other. My shirt and shorts were off and I had removed what she had been wearing. I felt her fingers pinch my nipples. “Lily.” I breathed her hands gripping my hips pulling me closer to her. “I love how soft you feel.” She laughed softly. I smiled and kissed her again before kissing along her jaw and neck.

“Your so beautiful.” She moaned before lowering her head and taking my nipple in her mouth. “Lily…” I gasped as she gently tugged it with her teeth. My back arched feeling the wall on my back. Somehow Lily had moved us so I was against the wall. “Please…” I moaned. Lily slowly sank to her knees her lips curling into a smile before she dipped her head lower. My head falling back against the wall.
