“What the hell were you doing?” James asked Sirius quietly so not to be over heard “You were kissing Snape…have two of my three best friends gone gay?”

“I’m not gay” Sirius muttered, he took a deep drink of firewhiskey that had been hidden under the couch.

“Snape?” James shook his head “What the hell?”

“James, I don’t expect you to understand and I know I’ve acted…” He trailed off.

“Like a gay and hormonal, horny teenager that is (strangely) out of character for you?” Peter offered with a grin.

“Thank you, Peter” Sirius snapped with an angry glare.

“Make me understand” James sat down “I don’t know how to act and right now I want to scream. I’ve got Lily whom I find out has been passed around more times than a Quaffle, Remus who just told me that for some reason he thinks there is a possible way he may be in love with Snivellous and then there’s you who is making out with the same slimy git that Remus is in love with”

“It’s nothing sexual” Sirius told him “I promise you that. I didn’t handle the situation well…Remus has always been there for me, through every crush, every break-up, he helps with my homework, classwork, holiday homework and now…”

“You feel that now that he is the one with a…er…date he won’t have time for you” James finished.

“Yes” Sirius nodded.

“But…why kiss Snape?” Potter asked.

“At first I was trying to scare him by moving closer” Sirius answered “Then as I was looking at him I began to wonder what it was that attracted my best friend and then…I don’t know I couldn’t stop myself, as we continued I…I wanted Remus to find us…I was so sure that he would hate Snape if he found us” Sirius looked so lost while he spoke.

“You may have just lost your best friend” James whispered “And you did it to yourself”

~~~Lily and James~~~

Lily was sitting in the library thinking about everything that had happened in the past weekend. She knew that she dated a few guys since she lost her virginity the end of her fourth year when she was fifteen but did that really make her a bad person? She did kind of enjoy the whole reputation of being a naughty Gryffindor but until Remus laid in to her the other day she never really thought about all the bad stuff people could be saying about her. In all honesty she had only been with the Hufflepuff she gave her virginity to, Frank Longbottom, one drunken mistake with Sirius that they would NEVER talk about again, Lucius Malfoy (she was curious) and two Ravenclaws. That wasn’t too bad, was it?

“Thinking?” Alice walked over to her table and sat down “What about?” She asked when Lily nodded.

“Am I a whore?” Lily asked her friend with a red face.

“A whore?” Alice repeated “Of course not. Why would you think that?”

“I’ve been with a few guys” Lily whispered.

“So have I” Alice told her.

“I came on to Remus” Lily wailed.

“Oh honey” Alice wrapped her arms around the crying girl, trying to hold her own laughter in “Baby, that’s just misplaced feelings. Remus is gay and believe me he is really…really good at certain sexual acts but he’s not right for you”

“Then who is?” She sobbed.

“I would have thought that it would have been Severus but…well…I heard he and Remus are dating now” Alice bit her lip.

“Severus has never been more than a friend” She sighed “He’s good with his hands if you know what I mean and a good kisser but…not boyfriend material not for me at least”

“I understand” Alice answered “And that brings me to…I know you claim to hate him”

“Not James Potter!” Lily cried making the librarian hiss at them “He’s annoying and makes me crazy and angry and I want to kill him 90% of the time that he is near”

“You should allow him to take you on a date” Alice told her “I just have this feeling that you two are meant to be”

“If he asks again” Lily said “I’m sure he hates me now knowing what I did with Remus”

“Now’s your time to find out” Alice said pointing a little to the doors where James Potter had just entered and was now looking at her with a small frown on his handsome face “I’ll just leave you two to talk”

“I’m scared” Lily whispered.

“Just be truthful for once” Alice instructed “Don’t lie to him about how you feel but remember that you’re giving him a chance he may just be your destiny”

She watched as her friend walked away and then watched Potter’s progress across the room to her table. He didn’t say anything to her, just sat down across from her and studied her expression for long moments, it seemed that he couldn’t think of the right thing to say to her or maybe he was trying to think of the right way to call her a whore the way Remus had.

“You hurt my feelings” He said “You act hot and then cold. On Thursday you were almost my girlfriend and then Saturday night I see you making out with one of my best friends…what am I supposed to think?”

“I…” She hadn’t thought this far ahead “I…I’m scared”

“Of what?” He asked confused.

“Of you” She sighed “Of my feelings when I’m with you, the whole situation I put myself in with you and your friends”

“If you’re afraid of that then why did you put yourself in the situation?” He asked.

“James this is going to be hard for you to understand” She started “But please don’t interrupt until I’m done”

“I won’t” He promised.

“In my family I was the second child, I was the surprise baby…the mistake” She wiped some tears away “I knew my parents loved me but I always came in second to Petunia, my sister. She loved to clean, cook, was good in school and wanted nothing more than to marry and have a child just like my mother and I wasn’t like that. I was…the freak in my family, I would read all the time, spend all my time playing with the strange boy that no one would look twice at, and getting me to do chores was like pulling teeth. That was until I got my Hogwarts letter, that was when things started to change my parents were proud of me and couldn’t wait to send me to this school so I could learn amazing things to tell them about and some day to show them. For once they listened when I would speak because they were truly interested and not just to look like a nice normal family but it’s all gone back to normal now. That was about the time I started to have sex, sure my family is ignoring me again but in the girls dorm I’m something of a hero and I liked all that attention…it was the type of attention Severus used to give me before he turned all big bad Slytherin”

“A friendly form of worship” James guessed.

“Yes” She answered “But you gave me attention all the time and it was great but I realized that if you wanted a relationship then soon everyone would become bored with me and I wouldn’t be special anymore. I’ve always been a little interested in Remus ever since I hit thirteen so I decided it was now or never and that the darkness would hide all my indiscretions, but it didn’t”

“Do you honestly think that I have worked so hard over the last few years to get you to notice me because I wanted to get in your pants?”

“I don’t know” She whispered.

“I don’t know if I’m in love with you” He admitted “But I’d like to try to be in love with you. I’d like to have the chance…please stop trying to push me away”

~~~Severus and Remus~~~

Tuesday afternoon, when the other students were attending their afternoon classes Severus and Remus found their way to the ROR to spend some much needed alone time together. The room took form of a large comfortable bedroom (what was it suggesting?) and both boys didn’t even hesitate just started to kiss and touch falling to the bed in a heap, they rolled around fighting for the dominance the other wouldn’t give up.

“I have to say” Severus panted “I’ve only spent time with you in the company of others. We’ve not been able to kiss or touch like this until now and I’ve just figured something out”

“And what is that?” Remus asked, shifting his position which was under the Slytherin…for now.

“You are far too dominant to be my boyfriend…sorry we are going to have to break up” He answered.

“Yeah…right…that’ll happen” Remus slid his arms around the other boy “I’ll give you control…sometimes. Personally, I like the fight”

“Hmm” Severus leaned up and nuzzled the werewolf’s neck “You do, huh?” He moved his hip a little making it rub against the monster that was poking in to him and smiled when Remus hissed “You hissed” He pointed out “How very Slytherin of you”

“Shut up” Remus growled and started to attack his lovers neck.

They spent nearly an hour just kissing nothing sexual really merely their lips touching. Remus had his head on Severus’s stomach and looking at him with questions in his eyes, Severus nodded and slowing Remus started to unbutton Snapes shirt and when it was open he trailed his tongue over the snowy plains, circling his nipple and sucking it in his mouth nipping gently before moving back down to his stomach. He pulled his own clothes off as he made his way over the thin body under his and then he finished undressing Severus, licking his lips in anticipation before he sucked the Slytherins entire length in to his mouth and down his throat surprised with himself because he usually had a really bad gag reflex but not now apparently.

Severus moaned appreciatively as he sucked him and he gave a start of surprise when Remus slid a finger past the tight ring of muscles that made up his anus. The surprise was short lived as the pleasure took over, there was only a little discomfort when a second finger was added and he not only brushed a spot he never knew existed but also as he opened him, getting him ready for the intrusion that was soon to follow. Soon his fingers were taken away, much to Severus’s disappointment, and the werewolf came up and smiled at him a smile that was full of promise. With little warning Remus penetrated him and Severus cried out in shocked pain, closing his eyes and praying the burning pain would go away soon, Remus was very patient through the near five minute wait he never moved nor made any irritated noises, he just waited and soon Severus was allowing him to move.

The sound of their skin smacking against one another was almost lost to the intense moans and groans of both participants. They kept their eyes locked on each-others and both were lost in a world completely their own, the castle could be falling around them and neither would have noticed anything other than them. Remus was reaching his peak and so he wasn’t the only one he reached between them and grabbed Severus’s cock causing him to scream, he pumped him mercilessly as he pounded him in to the mattress and then…with a scream from both they collapsed on to the bed each covered in Severus’s release.

“That…”Severus panted “Was…nice”

“Nice?” Remus lifted his head “Nice?” He gave him a horrified look “That is a very hard position to stay in for that long and all you say is nice?”

“Oh shut up” Severus smiled turning his back to him so he could be held (he was such a girl sometimes) “You know that it was amazing that you are amazing, do you really need to hear it?”

“Would be nice” Remus mumbled in to his neck “I like knowing what you think”

“Then maybe sometime I’ll tell you” Severus smirked back at him.

“You’re a git” Remus whispered, before both boys fell in to a dreamless sleep.

A/N: I thank you for the reviews. I know that Sirius was OOC and strange and jumpy and out of it but if you remember Peters inner thoughts when James and Remus were fighting Sirius is insane at best and I think I explained it well…right? So unless I am taken for another ride by the plot bunnies and muses, the next chapter will be the last chapter. PLEASE CONTINUE TO REVIEW!!!!
