Chapter 7
Harry just sat there staring. Hermione got worried and started trying to get his attention. After about a minute of no response, Hermione snatched the letter out of his and while Ron pinched him. Hermione read the note and blushed.
"Harry." Harry finally looked at her.
"Harry, this is really sweet. I guess you don't know who wrote it?"
"Of course I don't. How am I suppose to know."
"Calm down Harry. I wasn't implying you knew who it was from." Ron looked a little uncomfortable.
"Anyway guys, one of the things I wanted to tell you was that I was suppose to be in Slytherin." Harry said in a matter of fact tone.
"YOU WHAT!??" Harry knew Ron would be the one to blow up. Ron stood up and walked around the room.
"You mean to tell me that I have been living with a snake who also happened to be my best friend?"
"Ron I understand how you feel, but I thought you guys should know. There is one more thing I have to tell you and you aren't gonna like it." Harry said as he looked at Hermione. She had been really quite.
"Mione, please say something."
"Harry I really don't know what to say, except what happens now?"
"I dunno Mione. I really don't."
"Okay Harry, so what else did you need to tell us?"
"Well at the end of last school year I realized I was gay." Harry said softly. Ron looked like his head was going to explode. Hermione just sat there staring. at him.
"That is it this is just to much to take. If accepting being your friend means I have to put up with you being a snake and a pouf then that is it. Not only that but year after year we risk our lives for you, and for what to be your friend. I just can't take it anymore."
"Ron make sure you get all out there. I didn't realize that being my friend was such a pain in the arse. I didn't realize that I put you through so much. Hell I should have seen that you were just a jealous arse. Do you really think I wanted the fame I have. I would have given anything to have what you have. Do you know what that is Ronald?"
"No what do I have that you don't. You have money, fame, and women practically throwing themselves at you."
"Well Ronald. You have a family that you can go to if something is ever bothering you. You have a family you arse thats what I would trade everything for. Don't you see I would give you all of my shit just to have a family like yours." Harry told him with a deadly calm voice.
"Harry, I still don't see why you would do this to us. We have been there since the beginning. You lied to us for the last 5 years. I just can't take anymore shit from being your friend. Don't talk to me at school or send me any owls. I am serious I am NOT YOUR FRIEND ANYMORE! You coming Hermione?" Harry stood up yelling,
" Mione doesn't have to leave if she doesn't wasn't to!" Ron turned to Harry and narrowed his eyes.
"I know that you pouf. By the way if you ever come near me or my family, I will hex you into the next century."
"STOP CALLING ME THAT! AS IF YOU COULD EVER HEX ME!"
Sirius could hear the yelling from upstairs. He got up and walked down the stairs toward the library. The closer he got the more he could understand what was being yelled.
'Bloody hell, Ron really did blow up. Did he just say he had enough of Harry and all his shit.' Well Harry always did have a lot happen to him, but it was never his fault. The way it sounded to Sirius was that Ron was jealous of everything Harry had. By that time he was right out side the library. He walked in and looked around. Hermione looked like she wanted to run for her life and Ron just kept letting his mouth run. Finally Sirius had enough.
"THAT IS QUITE ENOUGH RONALD WEASLEY!" Ron stopped mid stream and stared at Sirius.
"Thats fine we are leaving. Potter I meant what I said about my family. Mione you coming?"
"By the way Weasel. My last name is Black now."
"Yeah Ron I am right behind you." She said with such hate. Harry just stared at her. He had never heard her talk that way. Harry put on his Slytherin mask and said,
"I thought you were leaving Weasel and you too Granger?" They stared at him for a minute and turned to the fire and called,
"Burrow" together. After they left Harry told Sirius,
"Siri, I think I'm gonna go do some school work. Would you let me know when dinner is ready."
"Of course Harry. Don't forget that Severus is coming over first thing tomorrow. I know I said it would be Saturday, but I figured the two of you really needed to talk."
"That's fine Siri, after what just happened I think I would like to talk to him."
"Okay Harry, of Minerva owled back a bit ago. She said when I go in to make my lesson plans you could be resorted."
"That's great Siri. I'm gonna go upstairs now. See you in a bit."
"Okay." Harry walked upstairs and thought about what just happened. He had a feeling this was going to happen. 'I guess that's why I'm not that upset it did happen.' Harry sat down and wrote back to who ever had written him earlier.

He sent the letter with the owl that stayed. He watched as the owl flew out the window. Harry pulled out his Transfiguration homework and started working on it. By the time Sirius told Harry it was time for dinner, the only homework he had left was Potions. He went down and ate dinner with Sirius. Sirius tried to get Harry to talk about what happened earlier.
"Siri, I'm fine, I don't wanna talk about it. Really i am fine. Actually I'm better than fine. I knew this was gonna happen. I think that's why I'm so okay."
"Okay Harry I just wanted to make sure your really okay. So how is the homework coming?"
"It's so good to do my homework out in the open and not in the middle of the night. Also I can actually do it up to the standards I want cause I don't have to worry about the cover I had to keep up."
"You still didn't answer the question Harry, hows it coming along?"
"Good the only thing I have left to do is Potions. There is one I don't understand, so I thought I would ask Snape when he comes over tomorrow."
"Okay Harry. Do you want me to look over any of it?"
"No its okay Siri. The only thing I'm not sure of is the Potions and I can just wait til tomorrow and ask Snape."
"Okay Harry, why don't we go out and fly around the pitch for a while?"
"Sounds great Siri. Is there anyway you could summon my broom down here?"
"Sure Harry, but why can't you do it."
"I'm not aloud to use magic outside of school, you know that."
"The thing about that is, they can't actually tell who is doing the magic in the house. So really you could summon your broom to you."
"Okay Siri."
'Accio firebolt.' Harry could hear his broom coming through the house. Just before it hit him he caught it. Sirius just stood there staring. at him.
"Harry since when have you been able to do wandless and nonverbal spells?"
"Since I started Hogwarts. No one knew about it, thats the way I wanted it."
"Wow Harry, you really have been hiding yourself. Now that I know about it, I hope you realize when school starts I expect you to do your best work. I don't give a damn what anyone else says. You will do your best, and if I find out you aren't then you will be in major trouble. Do you understand me?"
"Yes Siri, I understand. I don't even care about Granger's feelings any more."
"Alright Harry lets go fly some." Harry and Sirius flew until 10. Harry was so tired.
"Night Siri."
"Night Harry." Harry went upstairs put his broom away and went to take a quick shower. After he got out of the shower and walked back into his room, he realized there was an owl waiting there Harry opened it and read;
Harry,
What would be the point of me telling you who I am. That takes all the fun out of it. I will give you some clues, but other wise you will have to figure it out on your own. I know you can. Now your first clue is, you have known me since you first started going to Hogwarts. -Secret Crush-
Harry sat there thinking about all the people he had known since first year. Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Fred, George, Lavender, Seamus, Dean, Oliver, Parvati, then there was also Draco. But who could it be Harry wondered. He took out some parchment, a quill, and some ink and thought about what to write.
Secret Crush,
This isn't Ginny is it? I really hope not. If it is then I have to tell you, that I am gay. Sorry. -Harry-
Harry tied the letter to the owl and watched it fly out the window. Then he went to bed.
****In Malfoy Manor****
Draco layed in bed wondering if Harry would write back tonight, just then his eagle owl flew in with a letter tied to its leg. Draco jumped up and went to his owl and untied the letter. And read it. Draco grinned as he read the letter, this was going to be easier than he thought. Draco grabbed a quill, some parchment, and ink and wrote his reply.
Harry,
No this certainly is not Ginny. But thank you for telling me that you are gay. It makes everything easier. -Secret Crush-
P.S. That was your second clue.
Draco decided to go ahead and send it tonight that way it would be there when Harry woke up in the morning. Then Draco went to bed.

When Harry woke up and looked around he realized the owl was back and had a letter tied to its leg. He untied the letter, opened it, and read it. Grinning as he did. Harry grabbed some parchment, quill, and ink and wrote back.

God I feel stupid writing that. Isn't there something else I could call you considering you won't tell me who you are? You know some kind of pin name. So basically you are telling me you are a bloke? This isn't the twins pulling a prank is it? -Harry-
Harry gave the letter to the owl and watched it take off. Then went and got into the shower. After Harry was done showering he went down and had breakfast.
