A/N: Review time!
Delia- I will answer all your questions, from this chapter and from the last. The spaz robe moment. Have you ever been so angry or upset with someone/thing that you want to scream or punch the someone/thing? That is how Harry feels at the moment. Snape manhandled him out of the room, and Harry couldn't handle it all to well with how his past summer was. I thought that it was better for him to rage at his robe then put our loveable git into the hospital wing. The Alarm question... I know that I have slept so deeply that I never heard it go off. I think that happened to me last week, luckily I was not late for work. Now onto everyone's favorite Minister... The man is a bumbling fool playing at politics. He was nice to Harry when Sirius first escaped Azkaban. Then not even two years later he is going after Harry in the Prophet trying to make everyone believe that old Moldy Shorts hasn't come back and that Harry is only saying that he is for attention. I don't like Fudge unless it is on my icecream. As for what Harry is... The title gives you all you need to know. Yes we will finally know more about Harry's inheritance.
Without further ado... Let the story unfold.
Fudge nodded, "Yes Jameson. Give Mr. Potter the first two poisons and the antidote that he created for those two." He tried to wipe the triumphant grin off his face as he looked over at Harry. The man was hoping that Harry had botched his antidote and he would finally be allowed to live in peace without the child that was causing all the trouble in his time as the Minister of Magic.
Harry glared at Fudge, "Remove your arm from my person please, Minister." He shrugged the man's arm off of him as he took the two vials that were placed in front of him. He eyed them both holding them to the light before grabbing his antidote. He gave the vial itself a once over making sure that it wasn't switched in the last few moments. Holding the antidote in his left hand, he pulled the stoppers on the poisons downing them. He turned to face Fudge, "Care to make a wager Minister?" Harry sneered at Fudge, waiting a few more moments. He fell to his knees, gritting his teeth to fight the pain from the potions. He glared up at the man, "Well?"
Fudge watched with pure fascination before he dropped several galleons on the table in front of the cauldrons, "Very well, Mr. Potter."
Harry struggled to open the vial that was still clenched in his hand, barely able to open it as he fell to his side. He bit his lower lip hard, making it bleed to fight off giving Fudge the satisfaction of hearing him scream. Finally getting the top off the potion he poured it down his own throat, fighting back the urge to vomit it back up waiting for it to work.
Harry closed his eyes as he felt the burning and boiling of his insides subside. He groaned softly as he pushed himself up off the floor, "Well Minister, it seems I won the bet." He grabbed the galleons off the table before slowly making his way out of the hall. Leaving the hall he groaned holding his stomach, knowing that he was in trouble. The poisons that he had to take were serious and were not meant to be taken together. Looking around him he was hoping that there was someone around to find him. He stumbled to the wall, sliding down as his eyes fell closed.
It was an hour or so later when Remus made his way down to the great hall for dinner when he saw Harry, laying crumpled against the wall. With a growl he hurried over to Harry, "Pup? Harry?" His voice was full of worry and he struggled to try and wake him.
Harry's eyes fluttered open a as he took in the sight of Remus, "Remmy. Find Snape." He groaned, holding his side tighter against the pain that was still there.
Remus nodded, "Brace yourself, I'm taking you with me." He waited a moment before seeing the nod from Harry and picked him up. Harry cried out as he was picked up, the change of angle and the pressure on his organs changed rapidly.
Running through the halls while still holding Harry, Remus made his way up to the infirmary. Carefully laying Harry down on the bed he cast Sonorous, "Severus Snape you are needed in the hospital wing now!"
Harry coughed hard sending blood onto the pillow case, "Angel's Trumpet, Baneberry, and Antiaris." He groaned, flopping his head back against the pillow, "Damn Fudge" His eyes fluttered shut as Snape entered the infirmary.
Snape rushed over to Harry and Remus, "What happened?"
Remus shook his head, "All he said was Angel's Trumpet, Baneberry, Antiaris, and Damn Fudge." Remus shook his head as he looked over at Harry, "His potions NEWT was today wasn't it?"
Snape nodded, 'Angel's Trumpet, Baneberry, and Antiaris were poisons. He would have to create the antidotes for them.' If he remembered correctly, Harry would have had to make antidotes for two out of the three, one that would counteract two of them. Without knowing which antidote he took, Snape could easily kill Harry by giving him an overdose of the antidotes. He grabbed Harry by the shoulders and shook him, "Potter! What antidote did you take?"
Harry groaned as he was woken, "tairis....berry..." His eyes closed as he fell back into sleep.
Snape nodded and ran to the floo to enter his office. He pulled potions from his cupboards, several of them falling and smashing to the floor. He didn't care as the vials broke. The young man that had forgiven him was upstairs dying. A young man who had been manipulated time and time again to aid Albus's agenda was dying. Lily's son was dying. He cursed as he dropped another vial on the floor, before grabbing the correct one. He nodded looking at the silver liquid as he returned to the floo.
Harry was retching this over the side of his bed. With each heave Harry was growing paler, blood was mixing with the bile that was landing into the low bucket. He took several shallow breaths trying to calm his stomach some. He sat back against the pillows, wiping a shaking hand across his mouth when he saw Snape hurrying across the hall. Harry whimpered as he leaned over the side of the bed to vomit again, this time more blood than anything, "..ucking....f..dge." He looked up at Snape as the man stood next to the bed, "Trumpet?"
Snape nodded, "Drink the entire thing. We may have to do multiple treatments. You said that Minister Fudge made you drink the poisons?"
Harry downed the vial and nodded slowly falling back into the pillows, 'nothing is ever easy is it?' He sighed looking up at Snape, "Drealess seep? Peas?"
Snape sighed and shook his head, "No Potter. You have to let the antidotes work their way through your system before you can have that. It will react horribly with the Antiaris as both act like a nerve agent."
Harry nodded, curling up on his side trying to hide his pain from Remus and Snape.
Harry woke several hours later to an empty hospital. He groaned as he sat up against his pillows. He winced at the slight movement of his torso, feeling like his insides were still on fire. He looked around for anyone to help him or even offer him a potion, but no one was around. The ever dutiful medi-witch was nowhere to be found. He grumbled sliding out of the bed, praising Merlin that he was still wearing his pants and socks. His shirt was tossed into the bin earlier from the blood and sick that landed on it. He shook his head as he looked around the wing, "Hello?"
Harry waited several minutes for a response from someone, but nothing came. He hung his head, mumbling to himself, "This is what you deserve. At least they are safer away from me." He stood up and squared his shoulders, making his way back to his rooms. If anyone truly wanted to find him they would know that he would be there or in the potions lab. Once inside his rooms he sat at his desk, grabbing a fresh piece of parchment, a quill, and the last book that Dumbledore had given him. If no one was around to talk to him or to even spare him a glance he would make the most of his time and figure out what he was.
Harry sat down and pulled one of the books that Dumbledore had given him and began to read it. He was finally going to be able to learn more about who and what he was.
Who Were The Eladrin:
The elven race known as Eladrin are considered half-elven. This particular race of elves are theorised to have come into being from the coupling of an elf and a fey being. They are the true protectors of nature, and guardians of true justice. They were the fiercest warriors on the battlefield, using their affinity for weapons along with their magical abilities, a small group of them could remove an entire army from the field in a matter of hours, making the battles and wars shorter. They were often called the Peacekeepers of war. During the Goblin Wars, a group of eight Eladrin were called onto the battlefield to create the treaty that is now held by both Goblins and Wizards. Unfortunately hundreds of years of interbreeding with humans has made the blood of the Eladrin almost extinct. The only way one can enter the world is through a strong magical inheritance coupled with severe trauma. The Eladrin blood within the child will rise to the surface to protect not only the child but those it cares for.
Harry sighed and scrubbed his face with his hands, 'So now you know where your "Gryffindor tendencies" come from. You were born with them.' He closed his eyes as he rested his head back against his wing back chair. He cracked his neck from left to right enjoying the popping sensation as he picked up his quill. He looked down at the parchment in front of him as he resettled himself in the chair, "Well let us see what comes of this. I will put you in your place old man."
