A Fine Line
Natalie chuckled softly, standing up to give the wizard struggling to sit up more room to maneuver. Quietly, on bare feet, she slipped around behind him, into the frame of the door to her bed room. She slipped her fingers into his hair from her spot beside the arm of the couch, making him jump. She sank to her knees beside him, finger tracing the gag between his lips. He lunged off the couch towards her. Even in her slightly inebriated state, Natalie was still able to dodge his awkward attack, leaving him to fall flat on his face.
“Severus …” she chided, “still angry, eh?”
He managed to roll to his knees, blindly facing her now. Natalie scooted backwards on her on knees to take a good look at the wizard.
“So many damn buttons, Snape,” she murmured in both appreciation and agitation. “If we ever get out of this, I’m buying you a lifetime supply of t-shirts … no damn buttons.”
Natalie delicately traced the gag between his reddened lips once again. Snape jerked his face away from her touch. Slowly, she lowered her hand. They stayed in place, Severus with his head averted, Natalie’s hands hanging limply at her sides for quite a while. Sighing, Natalie let her eyes closed, and her breathing go shallow. Snape remained as taut as a bow string.
“Your godson is safe now.” Natalie finally broke the silence with a whisper. Snape lifted his head to turn toward her voice at that news. “Can I take that gag out without you going off on some rant?”
Snape knelt still for a few very long moments before finally nodding his assent.
“I’m moving around to your right.”
Natalie began telling him of her intentions to not startle him further. She had to tug and pull at the secure knot her brother had fastened in the scarf. She actually slipped and tugged a bit harshly on Severus’ hair, earning a dissatisfied grunt. “Sorry.” She whispered again, fighting her urge to lean forward and kiss his head. “May I help you to sit on the sofa?” She asked softly, deferentially. Snape was confused by her solicitous tone and his obvious predicament. He didn’t ponder his answer long. His knees were screaming for some relief.
“Yes, please,” he replied in a subdued voice.
“I’m going to stand up then help you up. All right?” Natalie didn’t want to upset the man any further; adhering to the same philosophy she used with the skittish horses - no sudden movements.
“Yes.”
She stood then practically lifted Severus to his feet. He was secretly impressed once again at her strength.
“The sofa is just behind you to the left.” Natalie helped to ease him back into the cushions in a more dignified pose. “I’ll take this blind fold off, but only if you promise not to try to figure out where we are.”
Snape merely snorted contemptuously.
“Whatever Severus. Keep it on for all I care.” Natalie spat disgustedly.
“As if you really are offering me a choice in any of this.” Venom dripped from his voice.
“As if EITHER of us have any type of choice in this disaster.” Natalie harrumphed, stomping away to her tiny kitchenette. She removed two glasses from the shelf, filling them liberally from her whiskey bottle.
“Drink.” She commanded harshly, hold the glass to his lips.
“What is it?” He demanded, turning his head away like a petulant child.
“Whiskey, neat.” Asshole. She thought churlishly. “Smell it. I didn’t add anything if that’s what you think.”
“And how am I supposed to know what to think?”
“For one night, don’t think. Just feel.” Natalie whispered against his ear before moving to face him, kissing the bridge of his nose softly. Moving down his nose with soft kisses and the barest touch of her tongue, she paused to pay special attention just to the tip of his hooked nose. Snape tilted his head to present his lips for her, a silent concession to crossing that fine line between his hate and his love. Natalie closed her eyes and softly claimed his mouth tasting his lips as gently and warmly as a summer breeze.
“I so need a man,” she whispered when she finally pulled away from his lips to stare at his face, thin lips slightly parted.
“I am a man,” He purred, lips curled into a half smile; memories of their first night swirling to the forefront of his consciousness. “I so need a woman.” Natalie reached forward with both hands to slip the blind fold from his eyes. His lids fluttered open to reveal glowing black pools of pure desire.
“I am a woman.” Lifting her hand to his face, he could feel the smooth cool metal of her ring in sharp contrast to her work roughened hands.
“Indeed you are.” He swallowed hard. “Quite a woman. Untie me, Natalie.” Snape commanded. “Tonight, no thinking. No Dark Lord, no depressing thoughts, no anger. Untie me.” He pleaded with his eyes as best as his pride would allow.
Natalie slipped her knife from its hidden sheath, slipping behind him and slicing through the rope her brother used to tie Snape’s hands. He reached around behind his neck to untie the blindfold hanging uselessly. His eyes never left Natalie’s. She pulled him into her bedroom, fingers freeing buttons as they moved. He tugged her white t-shirt over her head, then freed her from her faded denims. As she undid her own plain white bra, he unbuckled his belt to shove his slacks free, allowing his shirt to fall to the floor on top of them.
Natalie panted softly in anticipation; eyes adoring his manhood. She winked slyly before chuckling softly, “Are you planning on hexing me with that wand?”
Snape threw his head back, laughing heartily. His eyes glittered once again with a mixture of mirth and desire. “Hex no. Probe - yes.” He smiled widely before pouncing on her, pinning her knees over his elbows and spreading her wide open and glistening for his wand.
“Probing is good.” Natalie huffed when he rammed himself home; home inside his witch; with full knowledge and consent.
