Finally, it was Severus and Hermione's day. The hour was drawing closer, and Hermione was beside herself with anticipation. Of course, she hadn't seen Severus all day. She sat in their bedroom, making last minute adjustments and adding more to her vows.

"Nervous Hermione." Luna giggled playfully from her spot on their bed. Hermione felt sorry for Luna being so large and uncomfortable, but she had to admire how cute she looked.

"Yes, I'm nervous... I wish I could see him."

"You'll see him soon enough." she smiled sweetly as Ginny and Bryce popped into the room.

"He looks fantastic." Bryce commented, blushing slightly.

"You're not supposed to tell her!" Ginny said, giving him a playful smack on the arm.

"I can't help it. She's marrying a very attractive man."

Hermione blushed at this. "I know I am. But he's mine, Bryce, so hands off." she teased.

"All the terribly attractive men are taken." Bryce sighed wistfully.

"Is Tonks ready to go? And do I dare ask, does she look... Normal?" Hermione asked, not wanting to sound like a jerk. Normally she didn't mind Tonks and her strange haircolors, but this was her wedding.

"Oh yes, she looks fantastic. Brown hair today." Ginny assured her.

"Well... Let's get to it. Bryce, can you go tell Severus I'm ready?"

"Sure can."

Adrien, Severus, Lucius and Draco met with Luna, Tonks, and Ginny in the hallway. Adrien, of course took Luna's hand, while Tonks linked arms with Lucius, and Draco grabbed hold of Ginny's hand, and they made their way down.

Severus was nervous, but he didn't dare show it as he walked to the front, smirking at the way he heard people commenting on his admittedly, very different appearance. Being that Hermione was still unknown to her father, Arthur Weasley had generously accepted being the one to give her away to Severus.

Everyone turned their attention toward the direction Severus now had his eyes glued to as Hermione strolled alongside Arthur in a lavish white dress with a very long train. She looked like the epitome of what a bride should be with the sheer white veil covering her face. She smiled wide taking in Severus's appearance. It seemed Adrien had insisted upon making his hair longer for the occasion, and it was tied in a nice white ribbon, much like Adrien's had been, and hung down his back in soft waves. He wore a black suit with a white shirt that he left open at the top, and had obviously refused to wear a tie.

Hermione stepped in front of Severus as her bride's maids worked to pull her train out behind her. Once she was situated, staring into his dark eyes, Severus took her hands, and began to speak.

"There is nothing that I can ever say to you, that would ever sum up the way you make me feel inside. Not only have you been a most loyal, sweet, caring, kind companion, you also brought me to life in a manner I did not know I could still achieve. When I am with you, Hermione, it is like my life is just beginning all over again.

My life, was not the only thing that was saved that fateful night when you stood by, and patiently awaited, while I tethered between the realms of life, and death. You saved my ability to love, and my ability to trust again. You saved my hope for ever finding that one true thing that would both intimidate, and capture me.

I am forever yours, Hermione, and nothing will ever change my solemn vow, to always be there for you when you need me. I may not always be able to give you what ever your heart desires, yet I will always shower you with the love you so deserve.

I promise to love, honor, cherish, and obey, much like Adrien said, no matter if it kills me to do so. You know me inside, and out, and that is more than anyone else can say. I love you, to the ends of the earth, and back, and I shall never falter."

Severus gently placed the silver ring on Hermione's finger as her eyes brimmed and overflowed with her tears. With a gentle hand he pulled up the veil, and he lovingly caressed her cheek, and softly wiped away her tears. Hermione shivered at his touch and closed her eyes briefly wanting to melt into it before she began to speak.

"Severus, my love. Even though no one may understand us, I want you to know how much I appreciate that Adrien gave me the push that I needed. It was never about the thrill of the chase, and it was never about the initial dare-"

Everyone laughed at this. "-it was about me having the desire to be true to my heart, and love you the way I always knew you deserve. I want it to be so, that you never have to suffer any more heartache, and I want it to be that I have a role in helping you find your ultimate happiness. I can only hope that I have done a good job so far, and I look forward to improving on what makes you the most happy. It makes my day to see the smile that you insist upon hiding from others. Waking up beside you makes everything that I have ever gone through, worth while, and most certainly worth the wait I endured after understanding my own feelings.

I also have to thank you for teaching Adrien to delve constantly into my thoughts, because if it wasn't for him, I don't know if we would be standing here today. I would have been left wondering what could have been, and it's a thought I can't bear. There are no words to explain how much I love you, Severus Snape, and it makes me happy that in a just a moment's time, I will be able to call you my husband."

Hermione sniffled and took a shaky breath as she placed the silver band on his pale finger, and Severus wasted no time grabbing hold of her. He pulled her in for a passionate kiss as their friends and family erupted into applause.

"Mr. and Mrs. Severus Snape, everyone!" Adrien applauded throwing his arms around Luna. He had put Harry and Draco up to going and getting the horse, and he smiled mischevously as he glimpsed them coming toward him with the huge animal.

Severus turned and caught sight of the beast and sighed. "No, Adrien. No." is all he said.

"Oh, come on. You and Hermione need to get up there and go for a ride." Adrien urged. "So I can get the party going inside."

Severus rolled his eyes, and looked to Hermione who shrugged.

"Fine. God damn." Severus swore before climbing up onto the horse. Adrien detatched her train and casted Levicorpus on Hermione to help her pregnant form up onto the horse, and she sat sideways across Severus's lap as he grabbed the reins and made the horse walk.

"I wish I had a camera!"

"Oh, I do!" Bryce piped up, running to catch up to them. He snapped a few pictures of the couple smiling happily on the horse (despite Severus's annoyance with the animal).

"Thank you, Bryce" Hermione smiled at her new friend.

"This is ridiculous." Severus smirked as they rode through the trees. Hermione laid her head against his shoulder and smiled.

"It's perfect, Severus. Everything is perfect."

They stayed out for a while longer, as per Adrien's request, knowing there would be a congregation in their house upon their arrival back. Severus levitated Hermione down from the horse and moved off himself. He picked her up and carried her through the giant double-doors and found a tiered cake on the table.

Hermione gasped as she walked around to inspect the beautiful work of art.

"Adrien! We didn't have one of these for you and Luna! I feel horrible now."

Adrien and Luna shrugged. "We wanted to keep ours simples." Adrien winked at her.

"I want to see Severus's face covered in that!" Draco shouted, eliciting shouts of agreement from nearly everyone else.

"YES!" Hermione shouted with laughter in her voice as Severus attempted to pull away and run. She gripped his wrist, holding him to the spot and made to grab a handfull of the white cake, but they got there at the same time. He laughed aloud as he shoved the piece into her mouth, taking careful time to rub the remaining frosting on his fingers, all over her face. Hermione did the same while Bryce took pictures.

The day couldn't have been any better.
