The Debt
Chapter 8
Draco motioned him to get back as soon as possible. Harry didn't need to be told twice. He grabbed the Invisibility Cloak from the floor and threw it on himself as he jumped back on Draco's bed. Draco on the other hand stood up and greeted whoever it was that had came in. Harry stayed quiet and still. Draco chatted away with who appeared to be Blaise Zabini.
The talk between the boys sounded friendly enough but Harry knew that not everyone had been happy that Malfoy had come back to Hogwarts at all. Even though he had been cleared in his trial still there were people who thoughts that he was as much of a Death Eater as his father had been.
It seemed that the conversation had come to an end and Zabini left. Harry peered from under the cloak at Draco who seemed lost in thought for some reason.
"It's too risky for you to be here," he finally said as he turned to face Harry. The joyful atmosphere was gone and Harry sighed. He took the cloak off, hanging it to the end of Draco's bed.
"What on earth are you thinking?" Draco asked as Harry settled down on his bed again.
"You don't want me to be here?" Harry drew his legs under him and crossed his arms.
Draco sat down and drew the curtains shut. He reached for his wand that was under his pillow and whispered Lumos. He tucked the wand into a small pocket in the curtains which seemed like it had been created for this purpose only.
"Listen, Potter. I don't want you to be ridiculed just because they find you here. If you choose that we should make this public then I don't object but there are other ways of doing it than them catching us in the act."
Harry fought the blush that tried to overcome his face. "Will you stop talking like that."
"You sure blush easily," Draco smirked. "Maybe I should give you something to blush about?" The mischief in his eyes almost made Harry to bolt. After all they were in Slytherin territory and anyone could walk in.
"I-I'd rather you don't," he stammered, face red.
"Oh poor Potter. You seem so innocent and yet you let me blow you."
"That was a moment of-- I don't know!"
Draco laughed out loud. "You are some piece of work. It is a miracle no one has declared you crazy yet."
Harry spluttered. "I am not crazy! You are if anyone. Attacking me all of a sudden and doing weird stuff to me and--" he was interrupted by the blond.
"But you are still here, aren't you? You even came here to see me. Why did you really come here, Harry?"
Draco almost purred his name. Harry swallowed couple of times. Draco was again too close, He hadn't noticed the exact moment when the Slytherin moved but here he was again in his face. Again his beautiful eyes tried to sweep away his common sense.
Draco wanted to laugh a maniacal laugh. Potter seemed to be so enthralled with him. The poor little Gryffindor was easier to fool than he thought. He didn't even suspect that he might not be true to his words.
He would have never thought that simply taking what he wanted from Potter would work. He had thought that Potter would resist him a lot more. He even let him suck him off almost immediately. It shouldn't take long to get him share his bed too. He wanted to have the Saviour attached to him. He had to be so that the plan would work. Their relationship had to be strong enough before made public.
He gazed into the green eyes bellow him. It was no lie that they were beautiful. The color was unique. He hadn't met anyone whose eyes held that color or even rivaled anything like it. There was a faint blush on Potter's face. His lips were parted and his breathing was a bit ragged. He was surely anticipated a kiss but Draco wanted to know the answer to his question first.
Harry swallowed and licked his lips. "I just came to talk."
Draco smiled gently, his hands brushing Harry's hair off his forehead. "Of course you did. Now what will you do when the time to talk is over?"
"It is?"
"Well wouldn't you say it is? Or do you still have something to say before I take advantage of you some more?"
It seemed as if Potter didn't know whether to run or stay. He got the urge to break this peace Potter had around him. He wanted to feel the power to have control over Potter. He thought about violating Potter right here and now despite the fact that anyone could find them there. No, time was not right for that. He ought to give Potter some time to get his head around this. He could easily ruin everything if he pushed him too far too early. Still that didn't stop him from having some fun with the other boy.
"Time is running out, Potter," he whispered to Harry.
Harry pushed him aside. "I should get going."
Draco looked at him in wonder. Now where did all that come from? Suddenly the Golden Boy became all serious. He shrugged to himself. He was not going to stop him if he wanted to leave.
Harry slipped on the cloak. "I'll see you around," he said before he disappeared from Draco's sight. The door opening and closing confirmed that he had actually left. Draco sighed and slumped back on the bed. Would he ever be able to figure out what went on that mob head of his?
--..--..--
Harry stared at the ceiling. It was six am and he couldn't sleep. He had about and hour before he had to get up. His conversation with Malfoy had been interesting. It seemed as if the blond cared for him but he couldn't be too sure. Given their history Malfoy was probably pulling his leg. Then again he had never seen him smile like he did to him. He couldn't be all bad, could he?
He sighed. He should give the blond a chance. Giving a second chance to him, might end up being the most stupid thing he had done but as they say, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
--..--..--
He was on his way to Quidditch practice as he once again saw a glimpse of blond hair near the edge of the pitch. He had no time to seek out the former Seeker. If the blond was there still after the practice was over then he would be more than happy to accompany to whatever weird adventure he had in store for him today.
The practice went rather well considering they only had recently started playing again. Quidditch was something everyone wanted back to their school days and who were they to rob the players of them their wish. Of course some of the original players had lost their lives but most of them where still there and try outs had been had. Some new blood and quite talented people had been found.
For some reason Malfoy had not resumed his position as a Seeker. Harry had wished he would. No other was real competition to him. Now that he looked back at the games he had against the blond, he realized that he had loved those games the most. Malfoy managed to challenge him in more ways that he thought would be possible. He challenged him as a player, his sense of right and wrong, his pride and his will to fight.
He had seen Malfoy leaving the stands where he had been watching. He made his way inside the castle and he was intercepted on the way to the common rooms. Angry looking Malfoy crashed into him and started to insult him before he noticed who he had crashed into.
"Oh it's you," Malfoy grunted.
"Nice to see you too," Harry replied with much of acid in his voice as he could muster.
"Don't start with me, Potter. I had enough of crap from McGonagall for one day." Malfoy started walking away but Harry followed.
"She still demanding to know what happened to you?"
"Yes. She won't give up no matter what I say:"
"So she is checking if you would lie yet again? You were lying there, weren't you?" he just had to ask.
Draco smiled one sided. "And what makes you think that?"
"You never give me a straight answer. Always asking a question instead," Harry said and shook his head.
"Ok, Potter, you asked for his," Malfoy said, stopping Harry. "Yes, I lied through my teeth there because of what I intend to do with you has everything to do with that."
"What?" Harry asked completely confused.
"You are just a fool, Potter, too good for your own good and too much of a hero to realize what is right in front of you."
Malfoy stormed off. Harry was left to wonder the hell Malfoy had been talking about.
--..--..--
Damn that noisy Gryffindor! How could he see that he had been lying when he couldn't see what was happening to himself? If Potter continued that line of thought, he might notice that has being scammed.
But yet again, something was nagging in the back of his mind that this whole operation would back fire. He smacked his fist against the wall which almost proved the point. He hurt his hand but not the wall. He flexed his fingers to will the pain away. Maybe couple of days away from Potter would help.
Draco felt as if he was being watched as he made his way back to the Slytherin common room.

He will be mine. No one else will have him. He will be mine.

Draco turned as if he had heard something but only caught a retreating shadow. Whoever it had been was too far away to chase after.
AN: I was worried that I would have to do some major editing to my writing but so far it had turned out that the "original" story had all the things it should have and I could continue without a worry.
