Chapter VIII: An Uninvited Dark Lord

'If only I'd met her just before the Yule Ball...' Harry thought as he and Jadis danced at the reception of Bill and Fleur's wedding. 'This is the closest I've been to her in days!' Then, his hairs on the back of his neck stood on end and he felt Jadis tense up.

"He's coming," she quietly remarked.

"Tom?" Harry asked.

"Yes," she answered. Then screams and spells started flying.

"Potter, you little bastard! Show yourself!" Voldemort said, using the sonorus charm.

"No need to shout Tom, I'm right here," Harry replied.

"That is not my name," Voldemort hissed, switching his wand out for the Dagger. Your house's namesake wasn't the only one that had a magical weapon made."

"So, you decided to skip over the Preorium Incantitum?"

"Of course, and your new female companion will have to deal with my Dark Queen Bella,"

"erm...Your Bella?" Harry asked, arching an eyebrow.

"I know what that scar on your forehead was. I also know what that old fool was looking for. You, however, will never find the rest of them. And even if you do, you have to kill myself and Bella at the same time."

"What are you talking about Tom? What have you done to yourself now?"

"I used one of my soul containers to create a dark soul bond between myself and Bellatrix. As long as she lives, I live, and the reverse is equally true. Kill only one and that person that was killed won't die. Hehehehe, like husband and wife" Voldemort explained with a smirk.

"Damn, killing a pregnant Necrophage was not on my list of things to do today," Harry swore quietly.

"Shall we continue our dance from the graveyard?"

"Your move," Harry said and the two launched into battle.

"Is Crucio the only spell you know?" Jadis asked.

"No!" Bella spat back, realizing that the other witch had gotten into her head. She avoided a blast of lightning and fired off a reductor. The two witches traded off spells and elemental blasts while at the same time trying to get behind each other.

"Well, this is fun!" Viktor shouted sarcastically.

"Bloody..." Ron started, shooting off a stunner, "hell!"

"Less language and more firing!" Hermione barked.

"We must get to Harry. He's battling his snakeyness," Luna said and ducked another curse. Ron retaliated violently with a reductor.

"Sectum Sempra!" Viktor shouted which parted the death eater forces down the middle.

"Run!"

"What's wrong? Wand smoking a little?" Volde mort taunted.

'Shit! That dagger is channeling his magic better than his wand!' Then, he heard Voldemort started chanting in Parselmouth. Harry tried firing off another spell, but it felt like his wand was locked up. Then, the wond super heated and Harry quickly dropped the wand and it exploded, sending Harry flying several feet away from Voldemort. The Dark Lord slowly made his way to Harry to finish him off, but was stopped by...

"Reducto!"

Voldemort managed to evade the reductor curse aimed for his left leg. The same leg that James had reduced the bones to dust the first time he'd tried to kill the Potters.

"Krum..." Voldemort hissed. "That coward saw fit to train you to fight me?"

"He knew everything, including what Regulous told him," Viktor retorted. This sent the dark wizard into a fit of rage. Then Bellatrix's body collided into Voldemort's, sending them both to the ground.

"That's the problem with you modern witches...you don't know how to fight without your wand," Jadis quipped and then saw her downed future consort. Voldemort, not wanting to face both Viktor and Jadis aimed his wand upward and cast the dark mark. All of the death eaters and Voldemort escaped.

"Are you alright?" Jadis quietly asked Harry, kneeling at his side.

"I...think so. We need to get our things and get to Black Manor."

"Kreacher doesn't like this. Kreacher hates this. Master brought his two friends plus weird blond witch, foreign wizard, and elemental witch," Kreacher grumbled.

"One more word and I'll turn you into stone," Jadis hissed. She was in a bad mood. She had to use her ability to manipulate magic in order to make Harry the secret keeper of this place instead of a dead man.

"I'll deal with this... Harry began, 'Hope this works...' "Dobby!" And with a pop, the house elf appeared.

"Master Harry Potter sir! Dobby is not knowing where Dobby is sir."

"Dobby, listen carefully and remember what I tell you...the location of the hideout of the horcrux hunters is Number 12 Grimmauld Place," Harry said.

"Dobby now is knowing where Dobby is Master Harry Potter."

"It's just Harry. Now Dobby, this stubborn elf won't listen to me. I need you to make sure he follows every order I give him."

Dobby do sir," the house elf answered enthusiastically.

"Good. Make sure he does everything I tell him to do. Kreacher, we need this entire house spotless."

Kreacher grumbled and Dobby started shouting at him. The two house elves vanish. 'That'll keep him in line.'
